Danny floated in the air, knowing that he was about to enter the Armed Harpies' territory. He had a strong feeling that things will get more tricking from here. Harp flew close to him, her wings barely making a sound.
"This is it. Once we're past this point, we can't turn back until we saved my family." Danny said.
Harp nodded. She was going to be there for Danny all the way. She then flew closer to him before kissing his cheek.
"Um, I'm not complaining, but what was that for?" Danny asked, surprised.
"Luck. The Armed Harpies won't stop until they kill me and capture you. We're going to be in the fight of our lives." She said, making him nod.
"Alright. But remember, we don't kill. We don't even know which one would have been a human or a normal harpy." Danny said, making her nod.
With that, the two passed the mountain, entering a place that they couldn't leave until their mission was over.
Armed Harpies Lair,
The queen could see that her new daughter's wings were started to form, but were causing great pain on her back. She cut the skin blocking the wings before they burst out. Surprisingly, they were red with golden feathers on them. The Queen was surprised. She knew those colors.
"Phoenix Wings?! My WORD! My daughter is a Phoenix Harpy!" The Queen said before hugging her.
"Phoenix Harpy?" Jazz asked, confused.
"A really rare harpy! The last one was born 10,000 years ago!" She said, feeling proud.
"My queen?"
The Queen turned, seeing that one of her scouts had left their post.
"What is it?" She asked.
"Forgive me for interpreting, but I have news." She said.
"Very well, Jasmine? Why do you go wash up? I'll teach you to fly once you'll heal up." She said.
"Yes...mother..." Jazz panted, trying to get up.
A few more harpies entered and help her, knowing that her transformation was finished. Once they left, the Queen turned to the scout.
"Your report?" She asked.
"Just a few minutes ago, some scouts spotted the Ghost Harpy entering our territory, along with a being that we have never seen before." The Harpy said.
The Queen growls. The Ghost Harpy was in her home. Well, now she could finally get rid of her once and for all!
"Wait, you said she's with a being you've never seen before?" She asked, remembering that detail.
"Yes, it flew with no wings, and seems to be in the same colors as the Ghost Harpy. We know about your orders to deal with the Ghost Harpy, but we have nothing about the creature she's with." The Scout said.
The Queen thought about it. Something was strange.
"What about the boy that was traveling with her?" She asked.
"There was no sign of him." The Scout said.
The Queen was surprised. Something was up. Why would the boy leave if he was coming to save his family? And what was the new creature that was traveling with the Ghost Harpy?
"Stop them. Kill the Ghost Harpy if you must, but tried to figure out what the creature is and where the boy went." She ordered.
"Yes, my queen." The Scout said, bowing.
Once she left, The Queen started thinking to herself. Her spies should have known what happened to the boy after he left the enemy nesting grounds. They lost them somewhere in the forest due to how thick the trees were. Now, the Ghost Harpy was spotted again but with a new creature by her side. And it seems to fly and has the same colors as her. She didn't like this. After she gets the report of what it is, then she'll decide what to do with it.
With Danny and Harp,
The two flew through the air, doing their best to keep an eye out for anything. However, Harp was sneaking a few peeks at Danny, noticing how his suit showed off some of his muscles without undressing. She couldn't lie, she thought he was handsome and cute. And also brave and kind. He also didn't freak out about her people! Her human father was freaked out at first, but he has gotten used to it. Harp smiles, hoping that Danny would stay long after saving his family.
Danny looks up before gasping in shock.
"Harp! Look out!" Danny warned her.
Harp blinks before looking forward. She squawks in surprise, stopping herself from almost flying into a mountain!
'Stupid, stupid! I forget the first rule of flying. Always watch where you're going!' She thought, beating herself for getting distracted by looking at Danny.
Danny flew up, sighing in relief that she wasn't hurt.
"Are you okay, Harp?" He asked, seeing the Harpy blush out of embarrassment.
"I'm fine! Rookie mistake." Harp said, still beating herself.
Danny sighs, already knowing the feeling she had.
"Don't feel too bad about it, Harp. I flew into buildings a lot of times when flying for the first time." Danny said.
"You did?" She asked, surprised.
"Yep, I was human for the first 14 years of my life. Suddenly being able to fly with no control over your powers was embarrassing. Sometimes, I get so lost in flight, I forget where I am, and end up hitting a building every now and then." Danny blushed.
Harp smiles. She was glad that Danny wasn't upset with her. If she wasn't flying right now, she would have hugged him. He was starting to become more and more of her idea of a mate.
Suddenly, Danny blows into her, knocking them both away. Harp blinks, wondering why he did that. Danny turns from her and puts up a shield, blocking a few spears.
Harp blinks before looking down. Some Armed Harpies were flying towards them, holding spears. Danny puts down his shield and stood ready. It was a small group and he was sure he could fight them off. But Harp grabs his shoulder with her talon and shook her head. She knew there were more and fighting was not an option right now.
Danny was confused, but decide to trust Harp. The two took off, dodging the spears that were thrown at them.
A few minutes later,
Danny and Harp were able to lose the Harpies after Danny turned them both invisible when circling the mountain. Once the harpies were gone, Danny turned them visible.
"Okay, that was weird," Harp said, looking over her body.
"I know. Took me a while to get used to it too." Danny said since he didn't warn her about the feeling they get.
With the Armed Harpies gone, for now, the two kept flying, trying to be more aware of their surroundings. They flew until the sun started setting, sighing that they need to sleep. Luckily, Danny spotted a cave and they flew in to rest. So far, it was empty. As much as Danny wanted to start a fire, he didn't want to give away where they were. Danny turned back into his human form as Harp looks around the cave.
"Hmm? A nest?" She asked, seeing one thanks to the moonlight.
"A nest?" Danny asks, surprised.
"We must have entered an old Harpy's nest. It looks like it hasn't been used in years." Harp said.
"Huh, is it a good idea for us to use a nest from another Harpy?" Danny asked, due to not knowing much about Harp's kind.
Harp walks up to the nest, feeling it with her wing. She then sniffs the nest before placing a talon in it.
"It's safe and clean." She said, surprising him.
"Sure?" Danny asked, confused.
Harp yawns and started to take off her clothes. Danny blushed as he looks away.
"Is Danny going to stay in ghost form?" Harp asked.
"I..um..." Danny tried to say before sighing.
He turned back into his human form before undressing himself. He sighs again before climbing into the nest. Harp once again lay next to him, wrapping her wings around to keep him warm.
"I love you, Husband," Harp said, smiling.
Danny sighs, knowing that they weren't married, but decides to humor her.
"Good night, wife." He said, surprising her.
Harp smiles before struggling closer to him. Danny blushed as he felt her breasts press against his chest.
'I wonder if I'll even get used to this.' He thought, closing his eyes.
And I'm stopping here. I know I could have done more, but I was starting to get a little bored of writing. Not enough to make me stop writing completely, but enough to think I'm good with what I have. So, Danny and Harp finally entered the Armed Harpies' territory and the Queen is made aware. But since none of the Armed Harpies know about Danny's powers, they have no idea what his ghost form is. I thought about having the Armed Harpies fight Danny and Harp, but decided to hold off on it for now. Jazz finally got her wings and it turns out she became a rare kind of harpy. And just to be clear, Jazz and Maddie will be changed back into their human forms. So they will not stay as harpies once Danny saves them. And there are no harems for any of my monster girls' stories!
I don't know how many chapters I'll make for this, but I am in the last stretch of the story. Danny and Harp will have sex before the final fight, through. So keep an eye out for that. And for those that are not aware, I finally finished my Giga Mermaid Story.
One last thing, is anyone having trouble noticing that stories they favor and follow are not being notified about being updated? Or that someone review on their story? I use my Yahoo account to keep up with it, but now it's not showing it anymore. I was told it was because of an update that was made, but I'm wondering if anyone else has the same problem.
