The penguin looking Maverick suddenly breathed chilled air. Soon several statues of ice that resembled the creature appeared around it creating a lot of cover. These obstacles certainly would make getting a clear shot difficult.

X was very grateful for Cut Eagle's earlier gift of his tree clearing power. The sculpted cover was easily destroyed by the sharp hardened blades. However, the creature kept rebuilding his ice clones as they got cut down. He needed to find a reliable way to gather information about his opponent. So the blue and white robot master simply waited. Dodging the ice pellets using the terrain it made. He had to be careful though, because they had a ricochet effect when hitting something solid. Several dents in his armor proved their effectiveness.

Chill was starting to get annoyed as the intruder started to get his attack timing down. So the rather impatient being decided to charge with a belly slide. A satisfying crack of stone made it smile as the annoyance impacted a wall leaving a crater. Then it realized the folly of the move as solar energy blasted it repeatedly. So it jumped thirty feet into the air and grasped a damaged metal beam in the roof.

'Dang this Maverick is surprisingly fast.' To X's dismay when he thought he had an opening for the upward arc of his ranged blade. He was pushed back by heavy blizzard winds. After a few minutes of trading fire he hit on the Penguin's main weakness, impatience. So in the end it was only a matter of time before he defeated it.

Chill was severely damaged and irritated. 'Why won't that blue freak stop dancing around.' Finally, he decided on an all or nothing attack. He charged on his belly once more.

Then X jumped high and aimed downward. Two quick blades cut his opponent into three pieces of scrap. He landed breathing heavily and claimed the Maverick's chip. "Rest easy now Chill Penguin. One day the world may see you again. In a better mood I hope."

Outside...

"This one's mine sis!" He crossed his arms prepared for the blast of energy. As it hit the force behind it surprised him. It burned his clothes away in a circular pattern exposing reddened skin beneath. He shed his ruined shirt with excitement. "This should be fun!" He charged towards the red warrior with both hands forward.

Zero was impressed at the organic Android's speed. However, he was invented to surpass Mega Man X in every way. Doctor Willy had searched for every bit of information he could find. In order to build a better Robot Master. As a show of confidence he stood his ground in front of Seventeen's rush attack. He heard the air around his opponent whistling. His armor dented slightly around his chest cavity from the impact. Then he smiled as his auto repair system immediately restored the damage. Quickly, he grabbed the black haired guy's legs and slammed him into the ground. "I really hope that wasn't your best shot. Otherwise, your already dead."

Seventeen recovered from the counter easily. He jumped back and fired a barrage of energy blast. "Not likely firetruck! How's that heat for you?" Dust was everywhere from the debris. The android hadn't considered the obstruction his actions would create. He couldn't see a thing and had no idea where his opponent was. Because of this, he narrowly avoided being sliced in half by luck alone. Some of his blood sprayed from the moderate gash on his backside.

"I'll admit your faster than me. However, my visual sensors can easily detect the nuclear radiation you and your sister are giving off." He began to laugh maniacally as the most efficient path to victory became clear. "Tell me Seventeen. Do you have any idea how my programming differs from Doctor Light's creations?"

"Who the hell, is Doctor Light?" He raised his arms defensively as the energy blade bit into his palms. Thankfully it couldn't get past his guard.

"A fool who never understood the great Doctor Wily's vision." Zero began to dump all his energy except the bare minimum into his sword. Little by little the weapon was cutting deeper. "The answer by the way. Is I don't have to preserve human life above all else." Warning lights began to flash as he made contact with the bomb in Seventeen's head. A nuclear explosion blanketed the area for half a mile as his opponent was vaporized.

"Zero I'm reading your proximity alarm. Due to high radiation levels emergency transport will be initiated." Sixteen quickly activated his allies teleportation device.

Meanwhile X had just reached the battlefield as his radiation sensor went haywire. He saw the blonde android had lost a quarter of the right side of her body. In shock he saw a red robot disappear as the explosion hit. In a rush he got on the communicator. "Bulma two for emergency transport. Lock on to my location. Aim for the stasis cell." His body armor began to disintegrate as he started to scream in agony. Then in a flash of light he and Eighteen were gone.

Light's Lab...

"X this is Roll I read you. Bulma is currently on a salvage mission with Guts Man." Her blonde pony tail swishes from side to side as she quickly enters the required coordinates. She lightly brushes some dust from her red dress. Then starts activating the requested chamber. With full knowledge of all her father's security measures it was a simple matter. As the transported pair arrived she gasped as alarms started blaring.

"Warning, warning dangerous levels of radiation detected! Sealing effected area. Please remain calm, and wait for the all clear."

The utility Robot Master smiled despite herself. "Reguardless of the circumstances. It's nice to hear your voice father." Soon she went to work making sure the radioactive cleaning went smoothly. Once the all clear sounded she entered the room to aid her unconscious guest. "Alright you two, let me help."
