Anomaly 109 Variant (Ninjas of Love) and Anomaly 109-A Variant (Ninja minion)

NAME: An Immersive Book and A Fictional Character

CLASSIFICATION: B

DESCRIPTION: Anomaly 109 in this case is a slightly used, but good condition copy of Ninjas of Love.

RISK: Rumor

INFORMATION: Anomaly 109 is to be contained in a large footlocker with a secure standard lock. There is an old saying where a book is a doorway into another world. Anomaly 109 takes that saying quite literally. Anomaly 109 and 109-A is a catch all label for all other versions of this anomaly.

Anomaly 109 is a slightly used, but good condition, copy of Ninjas of Love which can suck the reader into its pages. Any individual who opens the book will get sucked into the fictional world of Ninjas of Love as an OC (original character) of that world. Any experience whether it be food, drink, smell or injury will look and feel real. Anyone who dies in the book will be ejected out of the book world and back into the real world.

In the case of Anomaly 109-A, some books are so well known, so well read that the psychic energy of the readers belief manifests a randomized character from the book into a living breathing person. These characters generally can't adapt well to the real world. Anomaly 109-A is apparently bound to the rules of their original stories. Anomaly 109-A can only be killed the same way as they would in the book. So, if in the book, they die by a rapier to the heart, they can only be killed by a rapier to the heart in the real world.

HISTORY: Head of Containment's Jaune Arc and his partner Blake Belladonna were notified of Anomaly 109 in the form of five murders in the local paper over the span of two months. At first, the murders happened all over the city in random locations.

However, there were some things in common with the victims. All of them were in their early twenties to early thirties, no forced entry, seemed to be killed with a sharp blade or katana, and frequented the same book store; Tuksons Booktrade.

Thanks to Blake's past friendship with the store owner, they investigated his store and found no sign of Anomaly Activity. That is until they searched the books. Turns out the families of the victims were selling their books back to his store each time one of them died. They looked through the books and both Jaune and Blake got sucked into the fictional world of Ninjas of Love. The two theorized that the only way out would be to finish the book. Thanks to Blake's intimate knowledge of the book, the two avoided the major points of the book and made it to the end where they were teleported back to the real world. They purchased the book and left the premises with Blake deciding upon herself to frequent this place to search for more Anomalies similar to Anomaly 109. She has also taken it upon herself to keep the book close in her apartment at all times for "research".

That research resulted in the manifestation of Anomaly 109-A which identified itself as a ninja minion of the evil shogun. After gazing out the window at the City of Vale for a brief moment, it had a sort of panic attack and went into a fetal position muttering "not right" over and over. Feeling sorry for it, they tried to put it out of its misery but nothing worked until Blake tried to kill him exactly like he did in the book, slicing him. Blake used her weapon in its bladed form and as her blade connected to its body it dissipated similar to a Grimm's body after death.

Potential theory: Are Grimm similar in nature to Anomaly 109-A and have been powered by the psychic belief from the people of Remnant?

Additional Note: At this time, it is unknown whether Anomaly 109 is the only one of its kind or if there are other books identical in nature to said anomaly. As of now, any similar Anomalies will be known as Anomaly 109 Variant (Insert Book Title Here) and Anomaly 109-A Variant (Insert Character Name Here)

A/N: This idea for an anomaly came again from the tv series, The Librarians. There is a race of magical beings called fictionals which with the combination of magic and belief, a character from the book can step out from their pages and become a living breathing entity. However, they are bound to the rules of their book. So in order to kill one, you have to kill them the same way as in their story. As for why I used 109 for this anomaly, it is a sort of easter egg since Volume One Episode Nine is when we are introduced to Blake's Ninjas of Love book.
