"Fabien" Ianto said, surprised to find his morning meditation interrupted as he sat on the roof with the birds. He could not help but smile at the young man though, still such a child as he looked around with wide eyes.
"I saw a dragon fly over" the boy said with awe, his eyes scanning greedily for any sign of more.
"Myfanwy, she is their queen. She is checking to see where everyone is, she will do so again in the late afternoon." Ianto smiled as he focused on the youth and made a decision "Fabien… sit with me. Let me tell you a story. It involves fire."
The boy sat.
.
.
There was general laughter as Fabien approached the other children, calling out that he was going to check out the kittens. Soon he had the others with him, all excitedly talking as they found not one but two clowders, also three little puppies running gleefully towards them.
What a lovely morning.
Fabien was sure to befriend the other visiting children and learn their names. By the time it was breakfast being called out across the keep, he knew his marks. Knew them well.
And they each took his hand trustingly.

Jack woke to Ianto's hands on him, roving, seeking and the soft kips following their decent down his stomach made him shudder with lust as he relaxed back to let Ianto pleasure him. Once those lips and that mouth woke him fully, Ianto rolled them both so Jack was on top and Jacks dick entered his lover as easily as water flows from a spout into a cup.
They made love as the sound of children's laughter filtered up through the open window, the snickering of horses as they were released into their respective corals. The sound of a world waking, even if Ianto had been awake for some time.
Oh yes… he was wide awake.
Ianto's breath became labored as he writhed and struggled to maintain some time, to let Jack meet him and as soon as they were on the same page they both came, messily and with loud shouts of pleasure. Jack lay there in Ianto's arms, still inside him as Ianto kissed his face and stroked his back, soothingly letting Jack calm down as his heart pounded from the exertion.
They did not usually make move this late in the morning, usually Ianto woke him before the birds and meditation, today he had let him sleep.
Jack knew why.
He hoped whatever it was Ianto needed time to chew over, it was now done. Decided.
Ianto had his plans in place and they were going to have an interesting day.
.
.
The morning meal was already being dished as the two men entered the dining room hand in hand, their step in sync and their hands clasped tightly as lovers wandering without concern. Ianto held his head high, the clothing he wore that of a high born. He did not feel… wrong …. He is the Dragon King. Time to shine. Ianto walked with Jack to their usual seats, this time Ianto stopped and waited for Jack to pull to his chair and help him sit, the loving motion catching the eye of those already seated and as Jack settled in his own chair Ianto looked across the table at those seated with their own breakfast.
"Greetings Abigail, Denver. I trust you slept well under my roof?" Ianto said with a calm he did not know he could possess.
Denver looked confused as to why this man knew their names, where as Abigail recognized his voice even if his high seat confused her and she paled as she stared at a man she knew so dammed well, as he did her. "Ianto?"
"It's either Highness or Sire… I do not go for Majesty as this is Jack's family realm and his father still rules. So… as we are both to be kings I think it best he has the Majesty title one day, as his father holds it now. Right?" Ianto smiled disarmingly as he reached for his glass and her eyes fell to his wrist, the faint tattoo still there. Ianto watched her eyes move across his wrist and the scarring that was visible, then in an act of pure venom, he pulled back the sleeve all the way up to the elbow and let her see the badly damaged arm.
Several servants stopped moving, focusing on the scars and Ianto maintaining the eye contact with the woman he blamed for the scars he bore, her and her fucker sitting beside her, then he sat back and canted his head "So. What brings two terrorists into my home?"
Now the table had grown silent, everyone moving in their chairs to watch with shock as Ianto took a bite of food like this was a normal breakfast conversation. The Seltherat Diplomats also shocked as they stared at the spectacle. Abigail tried for her cover story "Ianto, I don't know what happened that night. I was all so loud and frightening I could only watch as my home…"
"You helped him set the fuses sweetheart… that animal at my table, you brought that that… Bradwr into my home?"
As Ianto used the slaver name for a traitor there were several things happening. Servants were carefully pacing down anything in their hands and converging to surround the table, others entering from doorways to fill the room and the candles on the table flickered and then flared brightly as the room grew warmer.
"You know, these accusations are both incendiary and false" Denver said, instantly on the defensive. He looked to his masters who were still as status, their eyes fixed on the now dancing flames.
Ianto simply smiled and took another bite of food "Well, enjoy your day. I do not think we shall speak again. I have better things to do."
"Just like that?" Denver asked, glancing around the table like he might gain support "You make these horrible accusations and just… leave?"
"I have nothing more to say. You see me… I see you. We both know who we are and what happened that night. There is no need to go over things, no need to speak the names of the dead. I have nothing I want form you." Ianto shrugged.
"Really? Just like that. We can go?" Abigail asked with her voice breaking, her fear coming off her in waves. "We do not owe you anything?"
"Of course you can go. You both can" Ianto smiled in an unsettling way as he started to walk away.
It was Jack who ended the conversation, as they had agreed.
"But remember, in this Realm it's an eye for an eye. You can leave… but you must pay the piper first."
Abigail wondered what the hell that means.
