"Welcome to Total Drama All Stars!" Chris introduced, the camera zooming in on his smile as he stood on the docks, hands on his hips. "After a year-long hiatus, I came to the realisation that I need to be in a familiar environment, surrounded by the people I love… To hurt!" He couldn't help laughing to himself, "So! I'm bringing back THIRTY TD All Stars to battle it out in the most dangerous, death defying, one million dollar competition, EVER! The Theme you ask? Heroes vs Villains vs Wildcards! And here comes the Heroes chopper!"

The sounds of a helicopter could be heard as it flew into view of the camera.

"From Pahkitew Island! It's Zombie Nut-Job Winner, Shawn!"

Chef could be seen dragging a paranoid Shawn as he clung to Chef's arm. "Don't do this man! There could be zombies underwater!"

Chef rolled his eyes and easily pushed him off.

"ZOMBIEEEEEEE"

"Shawn's Amazonian Warrior Girlfriend, Jasmine!"

Jasmine forcefully shoved Chef out of the way and dived right after her boyfriend. "SHAWN!"

"And Doormat, Whiny little sister, Samey!"

Sammy shrieked as she was shoved off the chopper. "I'M CALLED SAMMY!"

"From Revenge of the Island! Bubble Boy turned Underdog Winner, Cameron!"

Cameron was easily thrown out of the chopper. "I WANT MY BUBBLE!"

"Pushover turned Powerhouse, Zoey!"

Zoey looked over in panic and dived willingly after Cameron. "Hold on Cam! I'll save you!"

"And Pants Wetter Brick!"

Brick flushed in shame as he dived. "It was one time!"

"Now! From the original cast! Say hello to… Creep turned Scrappy Fighter, Cody!"

Cody wailed as he was thrown out. "I'M NOT A CREEP!"

"Boyfriend Stealer Loner Goth Chick with a Heart of Gold, Gwen!"

"I already know I'm a horrible person!" Gwen shouted down to Chris as she was shoved into the water.

"The Sistah with the Tude! Leshawna!"

Leshawna fought against Chef grabbing her arm. "Get yo grubby hands off of me, I know how to jump, fool!"

Chef rolled his eyes, but respected Leshawna enough to let go. She huffed, screaming when she did jump.

"And best of all… OWEN!"

The nine players already in the water widened their eyes as they looked up and realised the implication. "OH NO!"

"OH YEAH! WOOHOO!"

Owen's impending cannonball managed to hit the water and caused a huge splash, effectively managing to get everyone wheezing on the beach. After a few minutes of everyone catching their breaths, Chris addressed the players, "Get a good look at the people around you! Because now, they're your teammates, Heroes!"

Everyone seemed mostly okay with their teammates. Leshawna couldn't help raising a brow, recognising that Owen and Cody were not always good players from her seasons, though gave a sigh of relief at seeing Gwen. Jasmine was easily the happiest of the team, having her boyfriend and best friend; Shawn and Sammy on the same team. What she didn't notice was Shawn and Sammy giving each other weary looks.

Noticeably the most upset was Zoey, who failed at hiding the disappointment in her voice. "Is Mike not here?" she couldn't help asking meekly.

Brick also looked guilty. "I would think Mike is more of an All Star than me, sir."

"Shush! Your questions will be answered very soon, but now? To introduce the VILLAINS!"

The more competitive heroes like Leshawna, Gwen, Jasmine and Shawn narrowed their eyes into a glare as they looked up at the incoming chopper.

"From Pahkitew Island it's Bratty, Vindictive Older Sister! Amy!"

"I WILL GET MY REVENGE SAMEY!" Amy cackled, much to Sammy's horror on the beach, before she shrieked being pushed off.

"Under the Radar Mastermind Assassin, Scarlett!"

"How anyone is plummeting from such an interval and living is beyond any of my own hypotheses." Scarlett commented dryly, jumping anyway.

"And… Topher."

"Chef I can't! My hair's gonna get wet!" Topher whined as Chef wasted no time in throwing him out, causing the fanboy to scream in complete terror.

"From Revenge of the Island! Athletic Non-Supporter! Lightning!"

"This is how you make a dive!" Lightning bragged cockily, getting in the diving formation before Chef prematurely kicked him out, the Athlete groaning in annoyance.

"Challenge Throwing Dirt Farmer, Scott!"

Scott had nothing to say as he clung to Chef's leg, screaming as he was forcefully pushed off.

"And Bossy Bruiser, Jo! Who dominated before her underling turned on her~"

Jo out of any other player was the most successful in fighting off Chef as she managed to push him to the side. She then looked out the chopper and directly pointed at Chris. "You're a dead man, Mclean! Augh!" she couldn't help letting out as Chef quickly got up and pushed her right out.

"Now! My personal favourites, from the original cast! Cranky Know it All CIT! Courtney!"

"This is not in my contract!" Courtney screamed as she dangled from Chef's grip, promptly dropping her.

"Brooding Bad Boy Cheater, Duncan!"

"Bring it on." Duncan rolled his eyes.

"Devious Heather!"

"I HATE CHRIS!" Heather shouted out as she was quickly thrown out the chopper.

"And finally, Womanising Spaniard, Alejandro!"

Alejandro wasted no time in diving, giving the competitors below him a wicked grin as a few of the heroes and villains gasped at his appearance.

Leshawna in particular looked angry at Alejandro's appearance, even more than Heather's as all she did was glare daggers at him as he swam towards shore. The Spaniard had taken notice of Leshawna's glare and smiled flirtily towards her. "Your eyes are as fierce as your personality."

She gave him the middle finger.

"You will be paying for my dry cleaning!" Courtney marched towards Chris, a nasty scowl on her face.

"No, I won't." Chris grinned cheekily, sending Courtney back to her team. "Have a look around, you're now surrounded by fellow Villains!"

"Villains?" Scarlett inquired, "So that must mean the other team are…"

"The Heroes! Yes Scarlett, anyone could have figured that out." Chris grumbled.

She nodded inquisitively, quietly fading into the background as the louder personalities began to surround her.

"Brightening and Dirt Farm? Ugh." Jo couldn't help complaining, looking at who she was stuck with from her season, "Both of you better watch your kiwis if you know what's good for you."

Scott rolled his eyes, his nose scrunching. "Right back at'cha."

Jo noticed Brick staring at her, a surprisingly shy smile on his face as he waved awkwardly at her. Jo raised her brow, smacking her hand into her palm, causing Brick to stop waving.

Topher was probably the most excited as he ran up to Alejandro, the latter giving the former an interested look. "Hi! Huge fan! I never thought I would ever get to meet THE Alejandro! It's a dream come true!"

Alejandro, to his credit, remained neutral as he gave Topher at most a pleasant smile, "Mi amigo, you are too kind, your cunning to overthrow Chris was exceptional to watch. Tis a shame that it did not work."

Heather watched the interaction with suspicious eyes, but for once she didn't have any smart remarks as she too stayed quiet. At least before Amy decided to bother her.

"Jealous?" Amy teased with a cruel smirk.

Heather gave Amy a look of disgust and anger, "Ew, of course not." She then smirked at Amy in return, "I might have been jealous if your names were even worth remembering."

Amy's usual response would have been to lash out, but to do that in front of Heather? It was harder than she cared to admit.

"Duncan! Long time no see!" Owen shouted from his team mat, waving an arm energetically.

Duncan smiled, seeing a face he didn't hate. "You too man." he kept it short. He then looked at the heroes properly and noticed something. "Where's Gwen? She should be on the hero's team right?"

"No she should NOT!" Courtney shouted, an intense glare directed who only narrowed his own eyes in annoyance.

"Except I am." Gwen's voice rang out, revealing herself from behind Owen's girth.

Courtney's mouth was wide open. "How is SHE a Hero!? She stole my ex-boyfriend!"

"SHUSH! All will be explained… WITH OUR THIRD AND FINAL CHOPPER!"

"Third? But I thought it was Heroes vs Villains?" Cameron couldn't help wondering aloud.

Chris chuckled, "Yeah, if this was the final cast, it wouldn't exactly be All Stars with a few key missing players! Hence, introducing… THE WILDCARDS!"

"From Pahkitew Island we have Gymnast Heartbreaker, Sky!"

"He didn't want to hear the 'but'!" Sky screamed in frustration, diving from the chopper before Chef could push her.

"Down to Earth turned Unhinged, Dave!"

Dave's face looked numb, not a sound coming as he was thrown off the chopper.

"And it's the creator of the worst music ever, Sugar!"

Sugar huffed as she fell from the chopper. "CRAPTRY IS AMAZING!"

"From Revenge of the Island! We have Silent B who completely carried his team before being sabotaged by Scott!"

B fell, a cool smile on his face with his crossed.

"Aura Whisperer, Dawn!"

"..."

Chris looked up, realising that nobody was falling.

"Uh hem, I said… Aura Whisperer, Dawn!"

"..."

Chef poked out the chopper and shrugged in confusion.

"I'm right here."

"GAH!" Chris jumped back in surprise, Dawn a mere two feet away from him! She was completely dry, her stature poised with her hands hidden behind her back. "I can't believe you're a fan favourite…" Chris muttered to himself.

"And finally! Multiple Mike!"

Mike looked out the chopper, and donned a dopey smile as he saw a familiar redhead. "Zoey! Wah!" Mike exclaimed in surprise as he was pushed out.

"That includes Chester, Svetlana, Vito and Chester!"

"Now from the original cast! Say welcome to Scheming Bookworm who always has an opinion, Noah!"

"Have you got nothing better to do than this show?" Noah quipped to Chef. Predictably, this caused nothing but a shove as Noah screamed while falling.

"Number one stalker! Uhh, I mean, Blogger!"

"For Cody~" Sierra sang as she spotted Cody on the beach, trying to show off her diving skills.

"Dorkling Doris with the Mad Skills, Harold!"

"Gosh! Don't call me Doris! I expect that from Duncan but not you, set a better example, GOSH!" Harold complained, not even comprehending that he had been thrown out.

"And finally! Loveable Lame Brain, Lindsay~"

"I'm flying~" Lindsay couldn't help squealing out in joy.

With the Wildcards reaching shore, it wasn't exactly a mystery to figure out who would start interacting first.

"CODY!" Sierra screamed in delight, tackling Cody into a hug.

"BOUNDARIES BOUNDARIES BOUNDARIES!" Cody's muffled screams shouted.

Sierra widened her eyes and placed him back down sheepishly, "Right, sorry, boundaries. Hi Cody! I totally knew you would be a hero!"

"And being a wildcard is rather fitting for you…" Cody said half jokingly.

Dawn approached B, gently touching his arm to alert him of her presence. "It's an honour to be on the same team again, your aura is as exceptionally purplish-green as it was during our last season."

B smiled warmly, giving her the thumbs up.

Zoey was quick to run up to Mike, giving him a quick hug before letting go again. "I've missed you! I'd kiss you right this minute if we weren't risking our fates by being the next Geoff and Bridgette!"

Mike laughed, putting a hand to his forehead as he used his other one to stroke Zoey's cheek gently. "All I want to do is for us to be alone right now, does that make me weird?"

Zoey giggled. "You haven't already forgotten, have you? I love weirdos~"

"Hi, sorry for barging in on the conversation, but I wanted to say hi too." Cameron came up, giving Mike a smile as the latter picked him up into a tight hug.

"I've missed you too buddy! I didn't forget about you, promise."

Zoey giggled into her hand as Cameron pretended to make choking noises.

"Dave, hi." Sky greeted weakly, her face worried as she waved at him.

"Hi Sky."

Sky was a little put off by how normal Dave sounded. He was being curt, but it wasn't outright anger like she was expecting. "Well, umm, I just wanted to say that since we're on the same team again we should try to be civil with each other. For the team."

"For the team? Or for you?"

Sky winced at the jab, but refused to let it get to her. "I mean the team. Sorry for bothering you, I'll just leave you alone."

"You were always good at doing that."

"Leshawna! My luscious queen!" Harold simped for Leshawna.

Leshawna waved with a grin on her face, "What's up babycakes? I wasn't expecting you to be in this season."

Harold puffed his chest out, "Yeah well, Chris obviously noticed my mad skills!"

Leshawna shook her head knowingly. She had never known a freakier white boy in her life! She always knew she would never be in a relationship with Harold, but she didn't quite have the heart to tell him that yet.

"Noah! Buddy!" Owen said excitedly, squeezing his little buddy into a bear crushing hug, much to the protests of Noah's spine.

"C-can't b-b-breathe…"

"Whoops! Sorry little buddy! But it's been ages! I missed you." Owen said, wiping away a few tears dramatically.

Noah in return just patted the side of his stomach comfortingly, "Yeah, I know, big guy."

"Bugger off!" Jasmine growled as she noticed Amy approaching.

Amy mock gasped into her hand, "Why Jasmine! That's no way to speak to your best friend's sister! I just wanted to say hi to my dearest sister who I haven't spoken with in days! Samey~"

Sammy cowardly hid behind Shawn, who more than anything looked completely annoyed at the situation. Jasmine noticed this and quickly yanked Amy's hair, the blonde girl yelping. "I won't tell ya again! Bugger off before I do something worse."

"Fine, whatever, freakazoid." Amy muttered nastily under her breath, a smirk playing on her lips as she had one more thing to say to Sammy. "You must feel real good about yourself huh? Hiding behind a freak?"

Sammy could only sigh, a regretful look on her face. Though Shawn did not like Amy in the slightest, he couldn't help agreeing with the fact that Sammy just seemed too cowardly to be considered a hero. Though he was definitely going to get back at Amy for the insult towards his girlfriend! Nobody ever gets away with insulting her!

Heather, growing impatient with the get together party, clapped her hands loudly getting the attention of the entire cast. "Yeah, I know we're all stoked to see each other again, but I'm literally wondering what are some of us doing here?" She pointed at Noah, "I didn't watch the other seasons, but I know for a fact you're not a bigger All Star than someone like DJ!"

"Great question Heather!" Chris, "I took careful consideration for who I wanted to cast! As you'll notice, there are twelve from Originals, nine from Revenge, and nine from Pahkitew! I divided you based on past performances you have done in previous seasons!"

"How is she not a villain!" Sky spoke up, pointing at Sugar.

Sugar filed her nails gleefully, relishing in Sky's anger. "Cuz I'm wilder than a turkey on a thanksgivin' dinner!"

"I was just about to explain before I got interrupted! SUGAR!" Chris said pointedly. They made a raspberry at him in response.

"Heroes! Leshawna, you kicked some serious butt in Island. We decided that your future seasons did not impact your image during the first. Cody, while not always on his game, was the ultimate good guy in World Tour! Gwen, you were undoubtedly the main character of Island despite not winning it. And Owen! C'mon, need I say more? Cameron, throughout the game you managed to directly take out three villains single handedly and protected everyone during the finale! Zoey, you were borderline a Wildcard, but ultimately you decided to save Cameron at the cost of losing the game! I wouldn't have made that choice, but whatevs. Brick! You saved Mike, Zoey and Cameron in the mines even when they weren't on your team! You're just overall a good dude. Shawn, you're a bit of a loner, but sacrificing immunity for Jasmine puts you on the heroes! Similarly, Jasmine, you lead your team to victory multiple times and looked out for them, even when they didn't always deserve it. And finally, Samey…"

Chris paused.

"Well, to be perfectly honest, you and your sister are just foils to each other. You happen to be the good twin, so here you are."

Sammy sighed.

"Villains! Heather, while you may have won World Tour, Island was arguably your most villainous season! Courtney, lawyers, threatening to leave everyone for dead unless they gave her money, shush!" Chris said as Courtney looked ready to object. "Alejandro broke multiple hearts in World Tour, women and men alike surprisingly. Duncan, your cutthroat strategies and overall bullying definitely makes you a villain! Scott, you actively threw challenges to vote off your teammates! Jo, you strong-armed everyone to your will with your no-prisoners attitude, till you actually decided to take a prisoner in Cameron and he betrayed you. Lightning! Similarly to Jo, your hatred of Cameron the hero makes you a villain by default! Amy, you are arguably one of our most vindictive players to ever play, and all for the purpose to spite your sister. Scarlett, you concocted multiple schemes to weaken the opposing team and brilliantly used Max as your scapegoat! Unfortunately the minute he was voted out you followed right after. And Topher… I just don't like you."

Topher hung his head dejectedly.

"Wildcards! Lindsay, you waffle from being air headed to a legitimate strategic threat! Noah, you simply haven't shown us the most of your potential even though bits of it showed in your last season. Sierra, what you know scares many of us, enough said. Harold, you've proven on multiple occasions you have enough quirky skills to completely change the tide of the challenge! Mike, your multiple personalities makes you very unpredictable, hence why you're here instead of the heroes. B! You showed a lot of potential, always creating strategies for your team despite your lack of communication! And Dawn, frankly, you scare me too. But your elimination episode was one of the highest ratings that season! Sky, you're generally a team player, but your reactions to certain situations tend to be unpredictable, especially regarding Dave! Speaking of Dave, your 180 personality flip was complete wacko! And now you seem normal again, so I guess we don't know. And finally, Sugar. I honestly just needed one more female from Pahkitew and I was NEVER asking Ella back."

"Darn right!" Sugar laughed gleefully at the mention of Ella, not even processing the backhanded insult.

"FINALLY!" Chris shouted, "Team names!"

Pointing at the heroes, he said: "You guys have been christened… The Heroic Horses!" A blue logo with an image of a mighty horse was shown above the heroes team.

"Oh I LOVE horses!" Lindsay clapped happily.

"You're not on that team…" Sky gently pointed out, not that it seemed to bother the ditzy girl before her.

Chris next pointed at the villains, he said: "You guys will be known as… The Villainous Vipers!" A red logo with a dangerous viper was shown above the villains.

"Sha-what?" Lightning complained, "Vipers ain't strong at all!"

"Matter of factly speaking," Scarlett began, "Vipers are one of deadliest snakes you could encounter. Though they aren't brutish, their venom is very lethal and a successful attack will almost certainly kill the prey barring a few fortunate cases." Scarlett smirked dangerously, "I like it."

Chris then finally pointed at the Wildcards, "And you guys will be known as… The Wildest Weasels!" A yellow logo with a silly looking weasel was shown above the wildcards.

Floods of complaints came flowing through at once.

"Seriously!?"

"They get horses and vipers, and all we get are weasels?"

"I wanted to be a wolf!"

"SILENCE!" Chris shouted, silencing the weasels, "I chose weasel… For my own amusement." He admitted cheekily.

"Typical Chris." Noah muttered to himself.

"Now, your first challenge starts tomorrow! So feel free to unpack, relax, get to know each other- whatever it is you kids do these days!" Chris instructed. His announcement surprised a few of the contestants.

"Wait, you're not giving us a challenge right now?" Gwen asked, almost in disbelief at what she was hearing.

"Do you want me to…?"

"Nope."

"Nada"

"I'm good!"

"But what about the cabin situation?" Sierra pointed out, "There should only be two cabins, right?"

"Oh Sierra," Chris chuckled, "Observant as ever. There are no three cabins when you get to camp! Heroes, you have the original Gopher and Maggot cabin; Villains you got the original Bass and Rats cabin, and Wildcards you get the just as shoddily made cabin in the middle! If it's any consolation, it hasn't been used in any previous season, so." Chris shrugged, "Do with that what you will."

Boys Cabin: (Heroes) Brick, Cameron, Cody, Owen

"Cameron! You want to bunk with me?" Brick asked with a friendly wave.

Cameron stroked his chin in thought, "I don't see any issue with that, although with four bunk beds, bunking with each other isn't that necessary."

Cody scrunched his nose, realising who his bunkmate would. "Well what if you guys bunk, Owen and I get beds to ourselves, and we use the last bunk bed to store our luggage."

"But where would Shawn sleep?" Owen asked, munching on a granola bar, a small toot escaping him which he laughed it off; much to the disgust of the other boys.

"Didn't you watch Pahkitew Island?" Cameron asked curiously, "Shawn slept in trees all season."

Owen's eyes widened in realisation, "Wait," he paused, "Does that mean he's a survivalist!?" The Obese Boy asked excitedly, the two nerds of the cabin exchanging glances as Brick had prepared unpacking.

"Yeah, but-"

"I HAVE TO GO FIND HIM!"

And before any of the boys could stop him, he ran out of the cabin in a worry. Cody smirked, glancing at Cameron. "How much do you want to bet he drives Shawn insane?"

Cameron tapped his chin, "The percentage of that is basically a coin flip at this rate. I would wager a nickel."

As Cameron and Cody started talking again, Brick couldn't help the worried frown that crossed his face.

Confessional: Brick (Heroic Horses)

"It hadn't occurred to me till all of us were in the cabin and I fully assessed the menfolk of my team, but three out of five of us are past winners." A self conscious look came across Brick's face as his voice went a pitch, "How can I be team leader when I don't have the honour of a victory under my belt?"

Girls Cabin: (Heroes) Gwen, Leshawna, Sammy, Zoey

The girls were more cohesively united than the males of their team and took the time to introduce themselves to each other, minus Jasmine who decided she would rather look for a tree to sleep in.

"Hey, uhh, I don't remember your name. Sorry." Gwen started off talking to Sammy, before rubbing the back of her head awkwardly.

Sammy was a little caught off guard by the approach, but she smiled appreciatively. "It's, uhh, Sammy? Considering what everyone else calls me it might be a bit of an upgrade…"

"Hey now," Leshawna interrupted, "That witch of a sister you have is not on this team, you're gonna be known as Sammy and if anyone has a problem with that they're gonna have to talk to me, kay?"

Zoey nodded agreeably, who, compared to the other girls, managed to fade a little bit into the background. She wasn't comfortably outspoken, previously having to live with Jo and Anne Maria in Revenge, but she made her input known. "Don't worry Sammy, you're our friend and teammate, any offence against one of us is an offence against all of us!"

Sammy blushed a little bit, her anxiety being eased as she was enveloped in a friendly hug by Zoey. "Wow, uh, thanks for the awesome welcome!"

As Sammy and Zoey conversed with each other, Leshawna and Gwen gave each other apprehensive looks.

"Bunk with me?" Leshawna asked casually, to which Gwen agreed silently.

XXX

Confessional: Leshawna (Heroic Horses)

"Sammy is a problem," Leshawna got to the brunt of her thoughts, a pensive look and crossed arms. "I need strong allies in this game, and they just aren't even if I wanna support a sistah." She craned her neck. "If I can ally myself with Zoey and Jasmine, I ally with Cameron and Shawn by default. It leaves me Gwen as my partner, and I LOVE her, but I don't always trust that girl so I'll be keepin' my eye on her. First step? Get close to Zoey, I can bond with Jasmine later."

XXX

Confessional: Zoey (Heroic Horses)

"I feel a bit out of my element," Zoey confessed self-consciously rubbing her arms. "I don't… Usually get along with girls? God that sounds like such a 'I'm not like other girls' quote," She groaned, face palming. She quickly grew a smile however, "To be on the same team as Gwen and Leshawna? I felt like I was on the Screaming Gophers when I first watched Island! They're sort of my idols, but I get tongue tied too easily, talking to Sammy is easier for me."

Trees: Jasmine, Shawn

"Shawn, you can't refuse to talk to everyone. You're a winner on this team, and with me here, you're going to be on everyone's radar as a threat." Jasmine said in a whisper hush.

Shawn gave his girlfriend the stink eye and rolled his eyes, "Really? You can't deny that our team is weak, everyone always focuses on getting rid of the weak. And no offence? I'm not exactly weak."

Jasmine sighed, putting a hand to her face, "I know you're not, but being a winner on this season is dangerous. We can't give anyone a reason to vote you off, and refusing to talk to everyone will be a reason."

"Owen and Cameron are on the team, so I'm not the only winner!" Shawn argued back, feeling discredited.

"But you are the most threatening winner, Owen and Cameron both won because they were underestimated, and unlike them you don't have the luxury of being underestimated!" Jasmine argued back, "Just do it, for me?"

Shawn sighed. He was used to being alone; his team in Pahkitew always respected his space and he couldn't understand why this team was different. "I will."

XXX

Confessional: Shawn (Heroic Horses)

"I wish she wouldn't worry about me so much," Shawn began as he bit his lip worriedly, "I've already accepted that I can't win again, which is why it's so important that it's HER that wins!" He had a thoughtful look on his face, "Talking to Owen and Cameron wouldn't hurt, but only for her!"

Boys Cabin: (Villains) Alejandro, Duncan, Lightning, Scott, Topher

Scott sniffed the air as he laid down on one of the bunks, "Mhm, yeah… This is nice, it's been a while since I slept in a bed."

"I have to adamantly disagree," Alejandro scrunched his nose in disgust, "At least the aeroplane was hygienic."

"Absolutely!" Topher agreed a little too eagerly, causing Duncan to smirk at Alejandro.

"Got yourself a fanboy already?"

Alejandro narrowed his eyes, "Duncan, mi amigo, how long has it been my dear friend?" he asked with a fake smile, pointedly avoiding the question.

"Ever since you turned me into feral bait?"

The Spaniard could feel his eye twitching, "My friend, I'm sure you understand that it was never personal, but strictly a calculated game move. I apologise if your grudge against me leaves you incapable of playing this game."

"Man you guys are noisy!" Lightning complained, who was casually doing push ups on the floor.

Duncan scrunched his nose, "I don't remember asking for an opinion meathead."

"I don't need precision!"

"Do you mean… Permission?"

"That's what I sha-said!"

Barring Scott, the three boys all gave each other glances, for the time being forgetting the initial animosity.

Confessional: Duncan (Villainous Vipers)

"He was a finalist?" Duncan couldn't help asking in disbelief.

Confessional: Scott (Villainous Vipers)

"These chumps are gonna eat each other alive." Scott snickered to himself, throwing a rock against the confessional, catching it again, "All I gotta do is be innocent lil Scottie and before y'know it? I've made the merge doing nothing!"

Girls Cabin (Villains) Amy, Courtney, Heather, Jo, Scarlett

"Listen!" Jo took charge, "I am your leader! All you have to do is listen to me in challenges and we can cruise through this game!"

"Umm, no." Heather rejected, getting up in Jo's face, "If anyone is going to be the leader, it's ME, let someone who knows what they're actually doing lead the team? Being a follower suits you more anyways"

Jo rolled her eyes, a sharp remark on her tongue, "Yeah, because we all want to lead by the girl wearing nothing but a crop-top; as if ANYONE wants to see that nasty bellybutton of yours."

"Oi! Just because Heather sucks doesn't mean you can diss crop tops!" Amy threatened, pointing at her own crop top. "I happen to look good in this, even if you don't, Prison Sweats!"

"Cough alert, someone's trying to bring themselves into relevancy," Heather rolled her eyes, before pointing a finger at Amy's chest. "Look here newbie, you're a bottom feeder, so do us all a favour and stay like that."

"Oh yeah, because you're such a top dog Ms. I'll get my hair wet!" Jo mocked, putting on a cutesy girl voice.

"SHUT IT!" Courtney screamed, an enraged look on her face. "I AM TRYING TO UNPACK!"

"Put a sock in it!"

"Nobody asked you!"

"What? Are you gonna call a lawyer on me?"

As all four girls bickered, Scarlett was the only one who remained silent, a growing vein on her head. For her own sanity however, she merely observed and silently wrote in her notebook.

XXX

Confessional: Scarlett (Villainous Vipers)

Scarlett didn't speak a word. She made multiple attempts to speak up, paused, and wrote in her notebook again. She made multiple deep sighs of frustration.

Boys Cabins: (Wildcards) B, Dave, Harold, Mike, Noah

"Mustela nivalis vulgaris is a sub-species of the predatory family that includes polecats, pine martens and otters, and is widespread across the British Isles, although absent from Ireland. Populations are hard to estimate, but-"

"Harold." Noah interrupted, "This is the kindest thing I will say to you. Shut up."

"GOSH NOAH!" Harold wheezed out with an annoyed look, "I'm just trying to educate everyone on the namesake of our team name!"

Dave's neutral expression turned slightly annoyed as his brows furrowed together. "Educate yourself on social skills before educating us on whatever that is."

Noah, not necessarily defending Harold, but definitely not liking Dave piggybacking off of him, remarked on this, "Educate yourself on not killing everyone when a girl doesn't like you."

"That's called incel behaviour, I watched that season. Truly a villainous act." Harold nodded solemnly.

Dave's left eye twitches uncontrollably, who looked ready to throw a fit before Mike stepped in. "Woah guys, time out. Harold, we just got here, stop giving us facts that we don't care about. Noah, that was seriously uncalled for, not cool at all." He then turned towards Dave, "Wanna go on a walk together?"

"No thanks."

Dave left the room curtly. Mike turned a glare on Harold and Noah, the former looking appropriately sheepish while the latter didn't seem to care. "Seriously not cool."

"Feel free to turn into Chester if you're that annoyed." Noah said coolly.

Mike could feel himself shaking in anger, quickly calming himself down before walking out of the room.

B, who had witnessed the entire thing, walked up to Noah and smacked the back of his head.

"OW! What was that for!?" Noah yelped in anger.

B just gave him an unimpressed glare.

XXX

Confessional: Noah (Wildest Weasels)

"Can you blame me?" Noah asked the cameras, "I'm stuck on a team with Harold, killjoy Dave, freaky Mike, mute B, crazy Sierra, no-brain Lindsay, creepy Dawn, Honey Boo-Boo Sugar, and Sky." He lamented, "Forgive me if I'm on a team full of weirdos and I'm the only normal guy."

XXX

Confessional: Mike (Wildest Weasels)

"It's times like these I could really use Zoey to cheer me up," Mike said, wiping away a few unnoticeable tears. "Noah really got to me while unpacking and I just felt like such a loser…" He breathed a sigh of relief, "I'm glad my personalities didn't come out during that argument, it would have only proved his point and that's the last thing I want to do. Dave clearly went through a lot in his season and we need to treat him with a bit of kindness, he wasn't exactly popular on social media and I just feel really bad for him…"

Girls Cabins: (Wildcards) Lindsay, Sierra, Sky, Sugar

"Hi Star!" Lindsay greeted Sky, linking their arms together much to the surprise of Sky, "Let's bunk together! You're very pretty~"

"Oh wow, um, thanks Lindsay." Sky said, a little in disbelief, but liking the girl enough to humour her. "Just out of curiosity, why me?"

"Everyone else scares me…" Lindsay admitted, twiddling her thumbs. "Sienna is Sienna, and Summer reminds me of Owen but scarier."

Sky nodded her head in understanding, patting Lindsay's shoulder. She was used to being on the weird team, so being put on the Wildcards didn't surprise her.

"So how are things with you and Drew?"

"Dave?" Sky answered a little too quickly, composing herself, "Umm, what about him?"

Before Lindsay could elaborate Sierra went up to them, "Have you guys seen Dawn? I've been looking for her but it doesn't look like she came to the cabin."

"Who?"

"We haven't seen her," Sky clarified, masking the fact Lindsay might legitimately not know who Dawn is, "Any reason you're looking for her?"

"Yeah! Cody asked me to leave him alone, so I'm in journalist mode! Post-Revenge Dawn was the only contestant I couldn't get any information on, so I'm hoping to gather some juicy intel~"

"What if Dawn wants her privacy respected?" Sky asked, not realising that Sierra would never accept a negotiation like that.

Sierra, naturally, accepted this as a challenge, "During a third grade gymnastics competition, you hadn't put on your leotard properly so-"

"Sorry f-for asking!" Sky flushed, hurriedly silencing the blogger girl, "I'll never do that again."

"You're going to keep your boggin' closed? By golly best news of the day!" Sugar smirked, pointedly walking up to Sky.

"Quick reminder that we're on the same team right now!" Sky said with a little more hostility than intended.

"For now." Sugar said simply, "And then I'm gonna smash you like a watermelon at a carnival! Be prepared to get Sugar'd!"

Confessional: Sky (Wildest Weasels)

"Great! Of all people to get stuck with, it had to be Sugar. I can tolerate Dave more than I can Sugar!" Sky said exasperatedly, "I'm nervous about becoming an early target, what if they gather numbers to get me voted off? I just have to prove how useful I am to the team! And if by any chance I can turn the vote on either of them? The better!"

Confessional: Sugar (Wildest Weasels)

"I ain't letting Sky sneak by again!" Sugar declared with conviction, "She's a wolf in sheep's clothing that wily doer! I was blinded by the snake in Elluh that I never even saw the wolf in Sky! But I won't make that mistake again, she's ALL MINE!"

Campsite: Dave, Dawn

Dawn, instead of packing, had opted to go log hunting for the environment. The campsite was her favourite place. Where people saw it as a place of elimination, Dawn saw it for the beauty it was; a ceremony of camaraderie! She ended up seeing Dave sulking up the path and offered him a friendly wave.

"Greetings Dave, lovely day to take a stroll isn't it?"

"Not in the mood." Dave muttered angrily, intending to walk past Dawn.

She couldn't help feeling sorry for the angry boy who was struggling to figure out his emotions. "You needn't be so angry, despite feeling barbed, I am certain you will meet the redemption you desperately desire."

Dave froze, feeling prickled that Dawn had figured him out so easily, "What do you know anyways!? All you are is a nature, hippie, fortune telling FREAK!" he couldn't help shouting, feeling comfortable to take his anger out on someone weaker than him.

"Do you feel better?" Dawn asked simply.

"A little…"

"Good. Whenever you feel angry, just shout at me."

Dave shook his head, a feeling of guilt overwhelming him, "Wait, no, that's not right. You didn't even do anything to provoke me and yet you're already the person I'm treating the worst! God I really am a coward…"

"When you're feeling your lowest, the only way to go is up." Dawn advised wisely.

It gave Dave a lot to think about.

Confessional: Dave (Wildest Weasels)

"I've never met anyone that nice to me ever since Pahkitew," Dave admitted, getting a little teary eyed, "That's a lot of emotions I wasn't at all prepared to handle. My old self would have just thought she was just a freak not worth my time, but, I'm the biggest freak in this game so…"

"I'm not certain Dave will feel satisfied with this experience," She started nonchalantly. "I sense many paths for Dave, both good and bad. It will ultimately be his choices throughout this game that mould him into what he becomes by the end of it. Will he find redemption or remain bitter forever? I do not know, but what I do know however is that I have a duty to guide lost souls and nobody needs me more than Dave right now."

The confessional camera paused on Dawn's face as Chris stood next to a television reviewing her confessional. "Yes! Will Dave find redemption? Will Shawn ever get over his fears of zombies and learn what a social life is? Will the villains be able to figure out how to work together? Will Sugar get one over Sky? Or will Sky turn the tables on Sugar? Will Noah regret his choice of words? Will Harold ever shut up? And will B ever speak up!? Find out on the next episode of Total! Drama! All Stars! Heroes vs Villains vs Wildcards!"

Hi! I just wanted to quickly introduce myself! My penname on here is Iris Nightingale and I felt like writing a fanfiction! I was re-watching Heroes vs Villains (both Total Drama and Survivor) and after observing the seasons, the issue I think with this theme is that villains are naturally more interesting than their heroic counterparts. What I believe was personally needed were contestants who could change the tide of the game without inherently being heroic or villainous, and that's when I came up with Wildcards!

Wildcard Definition: A person whose qualities and strengths are unpredictable.

I quickly want to go over some potential other players I had briefly considered since I think there are some raised eyebrows at a few choices.

Heroes:

DJ - DJ was a strong candidate for a hero, however, I just think Cody is generally a more interesting character.

Geoff - Geoff was also someone I considered due to his strong placement in Island, however, he's rarely a complex character and likely would have been an early boot for story purposes.

Bridgette - Bridgette is arguably an easier and more compelling character to write than Geoff, however I was unwilling to substitute Gwen or Leshawna thus I had to cut her.

Villains:

Eva - Eva is always an interesting character to write, however, her limited screen time just does not justify cutting Heather or Courtney.

Justin - I briefly considered replacing Topher with Justin, but I heavily disliked how that would make each of the generations more imbalanced when I knew I could prevent it.

Anne Maria - I just don't think she qualifies as a villain. She stood on some toes to get what she wanted, but she was never outright villainous. Besides Scott, Jo and Lightning are the easiest trio of villains I can think of.

Max - I could have replaced Topher with Max, but I think that would have been a disservice to Topher's character who I think was heavily unexplored in his original season.

Wildcards:

Izzy - Izzy I know for a fact is the biggest question mark for why she's not on the wildcard team. Honestly? I genuinely didn't want to cast any duds. I want everyone who I casted to seem like a legitimate threat to win the game. When I considered that, "who was more likely to win a season between Izzy, Lindsay and Sierra?" That's when I knew I had to cut her.

Trent - Trent was in heavy consideration for a while. I couldn't decide who I liked between him and Noah, but Noah is just significantly better at driving conflict forward than Trent is.

Beth - It is a little iffy not to have all the finalists in an All Stars season, but again Beth and Lindsay are heavily interchangeable in terms of casting, so I just went with who was more likeable which happened to be Lindsay.

I hope that explained a lot of the reasons why certain characters didn't get cast. Now I just quickly want to talk about two characters who I've outright rewritten to make the story more tolerable:

Chris - We can all agree that Chris' sadism got on everyone's nerves, so in my version Chris has never gone blown out sadistic, just a little unhinged in Revenge of the Island.

Scarlett - Scarlett before her elimination episode was perfect! She was snarky, she was strategic and she was ruthless. She got 5th in Pahkitew instead of 6th since I wanted to explain that her downfall was voting off Max because he annoyed her so much.

With everything explained I hope I gave you all an entertaining read! This was just a casual chapter for me to practice my writing chops, but next chapter should be an elimination episode! Bye!
