After the brief intermission, the cameras zoomed out to showcase that it was the next day. A majority of the campers were still asleep save for a few exceptions. Brick had wisely learnt from his last season and brought along a quieter alarm clock, ensuring his teammates didn't wake up for his early workout. Shawn and Jasmine were also early risers who had taken the opportunity to explore the island for some alone time together before the rest of their teammates woke up. Jo was the only villain awake as she too was jogging for her workout. Finally, Sky and Dawn from the wildcards were also the only two awake from their teams, though for different reasons. Sky, like Brick and Jo, was going on her morning jog. Meanwhile Dawn had taken to exploring the island in it's serenity, relieved the island was rid of the toxic waste.

Similarly to Revenge of the Island, Jo and Brick encountered each other again; though this time they managed to see each other before bumping into each other like last time. Brick slowed his pace to match Jo's as he made a U-turn and started jogging beside her.

"What do you think you're doing jarhead?" Jo asked, "Unless you didn't notice, we're on opposite teams."

Brick didn't seem particularly bothered by the nickname as he had gotten used to them, "I figured we could both use the company, ma'am."

Jo halted to a stop, a domineering glare on her face. She marched right up to Brick who had also stopped and jabbed a finger into his chest, causing him to wince. "I don't need the company, Peewee, so just leave me to my business yeah?"

"W-wait." Brick said, quickly getting in front of Jo again when she was about to take off, "C-can you keep me c-company at least? I'm uhh, kinda lonely." He admitted, scratching the back of his head bashfully.

Jo seemed mildly surprised by the vulnerability, a guarded look on her. "Lonely? You? Yeah right. You're the biggest hero to ever play Total Drama Pants-Wetter McGee, how are you lonely?"

Brick gulped, slightly taken aback at the backhanded compliment his biggest rival had given him. "I'm not settling in, I guess, this environment feels unfamiliar to me."

"After that, he just goes on and on and on!" Jo complained immediately, "Big shock, the soldier overachiever with the inferiority complex doesn't know how to socialize with the rest of these freaks!" Jo then starts imitating a baby, "Wah! Wah! Help me Jo! I'm in the real world! Blah blah blah!" She rolled her eyes, before smirking slightly, "That doesn't mean he didn't have his uses, as long as I let him jog with me, he would spill everything that was happening with the heroes!"

"Gwen and Shawn had a little bit of an argument yesterday which had Jasmine intervening and telling Gwen off." Brick rambled on while they continued jogging.

"Oh yeah?" Jo asked, prompting him once in a while to continue with his story. She was interested in the fact that a newbie was even daring to challenge an OG.

"Yeah, Gwen called Shawn a freak while he was on one his tangents of zombie apocalypses, which then had Shawn fighting with her about how everyone was in imminent danger. He was making a bit of a scene, so Jasmine got involved and forced Gwen and Shawn to apologize to each other, even though it was sorta obvious she gave Gwen a tougher time." Brick explained, panting as he was slightly outta breath.

"You don't say?" Jo stretched as she waited for Brick to get his breath back. She then scoffed as she saw something amusing, using her whistle, she got the attention of another jogger, "Hey chicken-legs! You better save your energy for the challenge today! You're gonna need it if you wanna win!"

Sky, not one to ignore trash talk, attempted to make her own comeback; "Careful with the trash talk Jo! Might wear yourself out before you even compete!"

Suddenly, a broken noise in the distance could be heard, gathering the attention of the three players.

"C-Campers- C-Cliff- C-Challenge- T-T-Time!"

"I know you did not wake us up at seven in the morning to make us jump off a cliff." Leshawna huffed out in her bathing suit as there was a chorus of collective agreement.

"What you know is wrong," Chris smiled impishly, "Today's challenge is… Baby Jumper, Mommy Pusher!"

"Mommy- what now?" Lightning couldn't help asking, dumbfounded.

"In your respective teams you have ten members. Nine of you will act as the baby jumping into the ocean! Beware however, we have a few… Surprises…"

In that moment, a mutant swam and waved towards the campers, showcasing it's sharp teeth.

"FANG!?" The collective Revenge Cast shouted in horror, with Scott's voice being the most shrivel.

"Yeah, Chris? How about you TRY NOT TO KILL US FOR ONCE!?" Courtney screamed in his face.

"I'm actually agreeing with her." Heather said, "I have gone through plenty of your demented challenges, but this is one is super pushing it!"

"Relax!" Chris brushed off with an unconcerned wave, "Fang won't actually kill you, he'll just try to main you for a little bit!"

Scarlett had a thoughtful look on her as she looked down towards Fang.

"Once the baby hits the ocean, you must swim underwater and collect your respective color coded team key! After you find a key, you must let the designated 'Mommy' know you have a key and they will swim towards you and help carry you back to shore where they will place you in your team baby carriages! After all, a baby can't make it back to shore by themselves, can they?"

"They can't exactly dive underwater but you're making us do that." Amy whined.

Chris ignored the complaint and continued, "After placing your baby into the carriage, you must race towards our fancy motel and drop off your baby by the entrance with the key! You will then keep doing that with each baby of your team! First team to finish gets the reward of the motel, second to finish avoids elimination, and losers get a hot date with me at the campfire ceremony where one of you will become the first person voted off the island! Any questions!"

"May I use the lavatory?" Scarlett raised her hand.

"No-"

Before Chris had finished, Scarlett began running down the hill despite his indignant cries, "HEY! I SAID YOU COULDN'T GO!" He then chuckled to himself a bit, "Whatever, Villains! If Scarlett isn't back by the time you guys have all of your members by the motel, you can forfeit any chance of winning it."

"That girl better be back quick, I know exactly who I'm voting off if we lose!" Heather grit her teeth, her fists clenched as she glared at the direction Scarlett had gone.

"Mi amor, you mustn't worry, I suspect our redheaded mistress has a plan." Alejandro soothed calmly, his voice unashamedly curious, much to Heather's growing jealousy.

"Doing the only sane thing and running away? Because I feel like doing the same thing." Scott admitted, a little deadpan. Lightning gripped his shoulder, causing Scott to yelp, "I was kidding! Mostly…"

"Does our 'mommy' need to be a woman?" Duncan asked, grimacing as the sentence left his mouth, "Because I like our odds with Lightning doing the heavy loading more than any of the ladies here."

"Nuh-uh, I ain't nobody's mommy." Lightning said firmly, "Even though I'm the strongest, there is no way I'm bein' called mommy throughout this challenge!"

"Originally no… But hilarious idea Duncan! Designated Mommy's must be male!" Chris grinned, snickering into his hand as many male players glared at Duncan.

"What? It was a perfectly valid question!" Duncan defended himself.

"Mommy Duncan has a nice ring to it." Heather suggested slyly. Jo, Amy and ESPECIALLY Courtney grinned devilishly.

"Mommy Duncan will keep us safe." Jo said in a baby voice, making kissy voices at Duncan who started to look freaked out.

"Wait, what are you-"

"Mommy Duncan will keep us fed!" Amy joined in, feeling included for once.

"I didn't agree to-"

"Mommy Duncan is VERY experienced with dirty diapers!" Courtney finished with a small crackle, enjoying the predicament Duncan's in.

Alejandro shook his head solemnly, "It seems, my friend, that karmic justice has caught up to you."

Topher nudged Alejandro, who seemed a little caught off guard at someone acting familiar with him, "Talk about mutual hate to unite girls huh?"

Alejandro opened his mouth to reply, only for him to stop as he reconsidered what Topher actually said. That was a surprisingly useful observation. "Talk about mutual hate indeed…"

"Lightning ain't got no issue with it, serves him right!" Lightning shrugged.

"Why can't I be mommy?"

Every single Villainous Viper looked at Scott with unimpressed looks, who scratched the back of his head.

"Worth a shot…"

"Women totally bite!" Duncan complained, pointing a finger at the camera, "If anybody ever wants to question why I make dude alliances there's your answer! Even the worse of the worst unite due to womanhood uniting them as sisters or some bologna polonies! I'll remember this moment when I write your name down Heather!"

"Duncan does not suffer a lot of humiliation, so my doctorate was itching to correct the universe," Heather smirked as she filed her nails, "Why not have a little fun? We have these newbies to vote off if we lose, big whoop if Duncan takes a kick to his manhood. Better yet? We could vote off Duncan if he fails to perform so I see this as a win-win!" Heather twirled a piece of her newly grown hair, "Before anybody knows it I'll be running this team by lunch!"

Confessional: Topher (Villainous Vipers)

Topher didn't start confessing immediately, he seemed to intently be looking into the camera lens; licking his lips and he slicked his tuff of fawn hair backwards, "Man I look good," he muttered under his breath, before coughing into this and crossing his legs together, "I'm confident I'm being underestimated on this team, which is amazing for me! It gives me enough time to observe everyone's drama potential before poking at those buttons and letting the fireworks blow!" He leaned back, hands behind his head, "As long as I ally myself with the most suave player to ever play, Alejandro, I can piggyback off his credit and stay safe at the same time! It's genius!"

Meanwhile, Jasmine was holding a meeting with the Heroes, who snapped her fingers in disappointment, "Right, now that I can't push the baby pram this challenge is gonna get rough, we need a strong fella who has the endurance and strength to get all nine of us towards the motel."

Gwen spoke up, "We should probably volunteer Owen; he has a fear of heights, he's going to struggle getting us a key and if we chose any other guy they won't be able to handle his weight no matter how strong."

Owen seemed to like the proposal, but before he could speak up Jasmine shot the idea down.

"No," Jasmine argued, "We need someone who can push that pram consistently; Owen is going to wear himself out by the time he comes back for our second or third diver."

"Do you have any better ideas then?" Gwen asked snarkily, not forgetting her scolding from yesterday.

Jasmine wasn't one for letting things go, "How about dropping the attitude so we can think? Your negativity isn't wanted nor needed right now!"

"Woah, woah, woah! Both of ya'll need to chill out!" Leshawna got in between the two bickering girls, "I don't know what power trip either of ya'll are on, but I haven't heard a peep or a squeak from anyone else here!"

"Oh, well, I didn't really have anything to say."

"Same…"

Cameron stroked his chin, "Well statistically our only options here are Owen or Brick. Choosing myself, Cody or Shawn for this role would be impractical."

"I volunteer for this role! I can handle this!" Brick said, flexing a bicep to prove a point.

"I can vouch for him, Brick's a reliable guy and a total sweetheart!" Zoey raised her hand, "If anyone can get this done it's him."

"How do you feel about it Owen?" Gwen couldn't help asking, a questioning look on her face as she looked to Owen for backup.

Owen seemed nervous, but twiddled his thumbs, "Jumping into the water sorta scares me… But it would hurt more to let such an awesome team down, so if I have to jump I will."

Sammy hadn't been paying too much attention to the team as she was trying to stop herself from feeling nauseous looking down towards the mutant shark, who only wiggled it's fingers maliciously.

"You okay there?"

Sammy glanced at Cody, who seemed to have noticed how green her face had gotten. "I- Uhh, okay as I'll ever be jumping into shark infested lakes." She settled on, not wanting to outright lie but also not wanting to show how scared she is.

"It's a little scary isn't it? I remember wanting to pee my pants when I first jumped off!" Cody, after briefly pausing, seemed to realize what he said and his face turned as red as a tomato, "I didn't actually pee myself by the way, I only did that once but- WAIT! NO! I- do you get what I'm trying to say…?"

Sammy giggled, the butterflies in her stomach disappearing. In a weird way, Cody trying to cheer her up and embarrassing himself in the process was kind of cute, something a little brother would do to cheer up his big sister. "I get it, I feel loads better actually, thanks Cody you're really sweet."

XXX

Confessional: Cody (Heroic Horses)

"'Thanks you're really sweet'" Cody repeated with a dopey grin on his face, "Do I actually have a chance with her?" He then slapped himself, "No Cody! Bad Cody! This is always the mistake I make! I remember Gwen telling me if I ever wanted a girl to like me, I always had to be friends with her first. If you can't be friends, then you definitely can't be boyfriend and girlfriend!" He then twiddled his thumbs shyly, "I hope we can be more than friends in the future; she's probably the nicest girl I've been interested in before..."

XXX

Confessional: Sammy (Heroic Horses)

"It was really sweet of Cody to cheer me up!" Sammy confessed, an unusually bright smile on her face for a change, "Admittedly I've had a difficult time fitting into this team. Asides from Jasmine, Zoey's the only other person I've really got a friendship with. Gwen and Leshawna are super cool! But I'm completely out of their league..." She sighed mournfully, "The boys are a little more difficult to get along with. Owen's super nice! But his fumes can be overwhelmingly hazardous. Cameron's... Strange. Brick has this hot cadet thing going on but he's a bit of a loner unless you need assistance." Sammy seemed to have realized what she said and blushed, "I- I can find a teammate attractive okay!? Don't judge me!" She huffed a little, groaning into her hands, "And you would think I would get along with my best friend's boyfriend but he's just so... Weird." She sighed contently, "Cody's really nice though, I hope we can stay friends for the longest time!"

Confessional: Gwen (Heroic Horses)

Gwen was noticeably in a sour mood as she couldn't hide the scowl on her face, "Jasmine is impossible!" She first started, "Control Freak to a T! Everything has to go her way or else we're doing something wrong. I know Leshawna really likes Jasmine, but she's starting to crease me like mad and if she tries to cross my boundary more than she already has I'm willing to vote her off regardless of who I upset." Gwen finished, rolling her eyes, "It's not like I'm trying to be the leader or anything, but a dictatorship is hardly my style. I would prefer us to work democratically and figure it out from there." Gwen concluded with a shrug of her shoulders, "I want my opinions heard at least."

Noah was completely unimpressed with the new rule change, "Great, our strongest member doesn't qualify as a mommy because she's a girl, that's a sentence I never thought would escape my mouth but here we are."

"It's not over yet!" Sky tried to encourage, "That rule put us at a huge disadvantage, not denying that, but we're Wildcards! When something looks impossible, we come out on top."

"And I suppose you want Harold to be our pram pusher?" Noah remarked unhelpfully.

"Well, I did have someone in mind, but I didn't want to outright suggest someone…" Sky admitted unsurely, a guilty look on her face.

Dave seemed a little annoyed at Sky's reluctant leadership, so he decided to take over the conversation, "If we can only volunteer one of the guys for this challenge, our only option is Mike here."

Mike's eyes widened, a trickle of sweat rolling down his face, "Me!? Not to reject the idea, but I'm not exactly the strongest guy around."

"Another option could be B," Sierra pointed out, much to the man's surprise, "Sure he's going to get winded quicker, but he also has the necessary strength to push all of us."

"Quit your squawkin', I'm gonna be the momma of the challenge!" Sugar declared with a fierce look on her face.

"Chris just explained that only a man can push the pram." Harold reminded the country girl.

Sugar huffed, "Well that's just silly ain't it? A man ain't a momma! Or is he? I don't actually remember." She finished with a shrug.

"I think we should volunteer Noah for the role." Dawn spoke up suddenly.

The Bookworm was not receptive to this whatsoever, "You know what the worst part of that suggestion is? I can't even tell if you're being serious or not."

"Who knows?" Dawn muttered mystically, creeping Noah out as he backed away from her.

"So… Mike?"

Mike was completely uncomfortable with taking on the Hero role. He knew that there were other males who completely outclassed him in strength, but with many expectant eyes looking at him he caved in. "Yeah…"

"Hold it!" Dave interrupted quickly.

"What now!?" Noah complained, crossing his arms impatiently.

"I just want to suggest that if we lose the challenge, Mike's off the table as a target." Dave said, "It wouldn't be fair to force him into this position and vote him off if we lose."

Noah rolled his eyes, "Whatever, I don't care enough."

"I don't necessarily mind, but if Mike directly causes our loss I will be voting for him." Sierra stated bluntly.

"I can be mommy."

Everyone turned to look at Lindsay, who had uncharacteristically been quiet.

"Lindsay…" Sky approached gently, not wanting to hurt the girl's feelings, "For this challenge, we need to choose a guy to push the pram. Does that make sense?"

"But… I've been told I have big enough jugs to be a mommy! I'm perfect for this!"

Sky clasped her face in exasperation as the boys snickered and the girls raised their brows with subtle glares at the currently laughing boys. They quieted down immediately.

"I have an unusual team," Sierra started, a hand on her chin as she looked deep in thought, "Are we purposefully the underdogs? With this sudden rule change Chris has nearly made it impossible for my team to win. Mike's as adorkable as I expected! But he was right, I personally would have made B the pram push-" Sierra, suddenly stopped talking, an excitable twinkle overtaking her eyes as an idea came to mind. "I might have just figured out a way for us to win this challenge!"

"These people are a flock-a sheep waitin' to be lead to the slaughterhouse!" Sugar complained, "Lemme tell ya, that Sky is trying to pull a fast one on us! She finished with an accusatory finger pointed at the camera lens.

After all the teams had chosen a representative; Brick, Duncan and Mike, Chris grinned with a glint in his eyes that made most of the campers unnerved. "Great! Now that we've chosen our mommies, I want to talk about some twists to the challenge!"

Heather couldn't help rolling her eyes impatiently, "Can't we just get to it already?"

Chris clicked his tongue disapprovingly, "No can do Heather, because it's an interesting part of the challenge! Some of you have… Larger than average teammates, some of you more than others."

Owen smiled sheepishly, Jasmine raised a brow, Leshawna outright glared, B rolled his eyes and Sugar didn't seem to pick up that she was on the larger scale.

"So to compensate for that, the babies have a choice of whether they have their mommies push them to the mansion or whether they make a dash for it themselves!" Chris explained. While the mommies looked hopeful, a few suspicious glances were sent his way.

"What's the catch?" Gwen questioned almost immediately.

This is when Chris' grin turned into an evil smirk, "The catch, Gwen, is that anyone who chooses to run towards the mansion loses all privileges to its access if your team wins the challenges!"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Owen screamed, falling down on his knees as he quickly realized he was going to have to run if he didn't want to make his team lose.

"So, babies, I'm going to give you a few minutes to decide on whether you're running or getting in the pram. Seeing as Scarlett isn't here, she gets to not only inconvenience her mommy! But also, lose all privileges to the mansion for not listening to me!" Chris said impishly.

After a few minutes of contemplation, each of the babies had made their choices.

From the Heroes; Owen (regretfully), Zoey, Jasmine and Shawn had chosen to run to the mansion and give up their privileges should their team win. Meaning Brick would be pushing Gwen, Leshawna, Cody, Cameron and Sammy to the mansion. Brick threw a grateful smile at Zoey, who returned his smile with a knowing wink.

From the Villains; only Lightning had chosen to sprint to the mansion. Meaning Duncan would have to push Heather, Courtney, Alejandro, Jo, Scott, Amy, Topher and Scarlett to the mansion. Duncan naturally threw the bird at every single one of his teammates.

From the Wildcards; B, Dawn and Sky had chosen to run towards the mansion. Meaning Mike would have to push Sierra, Lindsay, Harold, Noah, Dave and Sugar. Mike was a little annoyed that the two lighter girls on the team were running while the arguably heavier girls had chosen to be pushed; but overall didn't seem to mind.

"Why aren't we all just runnin'?" Lightning questioned dumbfoundedly, "If we all choose to run we win, it's sha-easy!"

Confessional: Harold (Wildest Weasels)

"I could have ran if I really wanted to," Harold started, "But I didn't want heart palpitations to overtake me again, so I'm sacrificing my dignity for the good of the team when you really think about it." Harold said solemnly, with no irony to his words whatsoever.

XXX

Confessional: Cameron (Heroic Horses)

"I'm not trying to be selfish!" Cameron defended himself, a guilty look on his face. "Optimally, being pushed would be the quicker method for me to get to the mansion than running myself!" He then smiled a little sheepishly, "I am curious about the accommodations of the mansion however."

After everything had been established; Brick, Duncan and Mike got into their respective positions at the bottom of the mountain. Blue, Red and Yellow prams were waiting for them. Chris shouted up towards the top of the mountain where the first baby divers; Gwen, Jo and Noah were waiting for the signal.

XXX

Confessional: Noah (Wildest Weasels)

"Why are you diving first?" Noah asked the audience rhetorically, smirking, "Easy, if I waited to go last, it would have been harder finding a key. This way I'm maximizing my chances of finding a key almost immediately."

XXX

Noah's theory was proven correct. As soon as he made contact with the water, he came back up almost immediately with a yellow key. He waved it around wildly, signaling Mike to collect him. Gwen and Jo popped up a few seconds later with their blue and red keys. With the three boys now collecting their respective teammates, Mike and Brick had the easiest times carrying their teammates, with Mike carrying Noah piggyback style and Brick outright carrying Gwen bridal style; much to the goth girl's embarrassment.

Duncan's jealousy did not go unnoticed as he struggled to get Jo back to shore, who was berating him the entire time. "You better watch it, soldier! That's my girl you're carrying, those hands better not go anywhere they don't belong!"

Jo, after making it difficult for Duncan, scoffed and tightened her lips when she saw Brick carrying Gwen effortlessly. "Hurry it up already! You're lagging behind!"

Fang stayed hidden.

After Duncan muttered a few curses under his breath, he managed to place Jo in the pram and chased after Mike and Brick who had managed to get a head start on him.

"I'm not jealous." She told the audience bluntly, "It's just weird seeing him act so… Manly. It doesn't suit him!"

As the race was continuing, the teams were deciding on who to volunteer next to jump.

"I'll jump next." Zoey volunteered, "Since four of us are running it would be easier if we rotate each round and give Brick as many breaks as possible." The rest of the Heroes were fine with this decision.

The Villains were not so united, with Heather, Courtney, Scott, Amy and Topher refusing to volunteer next.

"This is inefficient! We can't waste time arguing who goes next!" Alejandro said, "I would volunteer myself, but then I have no idea if any of you would jump next…"

"You know what? Fine." Heather huffed, "I'll go next."

"Whatever."

"Don't care."

"Meh."

Heather's signature glare made a reappearance, causing Alejandro to try and soothe her. "Your glare is as sharp as a blade, thank you for doing this."

Heather rolled her eyes, a small blush forming. "I'm not doing it for you! Everyone else is just being a baby!"

"I'll go." Dave volunteered for his team, "It would be quicker if all the boys jumped first, all the runners give Mike a break, and then the rest of the girls follow afterwards right?"

Sky stroked her chin thoughtfully, "I agree that you and Harold should be the next two to jump, but we'll see what other strategies we can form in the meantime."

Sierra couldn't help cooing as she took an unsuspecting photo of the two, causing Sky and Dave to blink rapidly to regain their vision, "You two are surprisingly more rootable than I expected, are you guys like a couple again now?!"

"NO!"

Sky immediately regretted what she said when her team gave her scrutinizing looks. When she looked at Dave, he averted his gaze from her own. He was smiling, but it felt very bitter.

"No need to deny it that badly…" He couldn't help muttering. Sky immediately felt ashamed.

"Gah! What is wrong with me!?" Sky couldn't help screaming out in frustration, clutching her head. "I feel like whenever there's any talk of me and Dave being together I get really defensive about it. I don't mean to make Dave feel bad, but our relationship was just so… CRAP!" Sky buried her face into her hands in despair.

XXX

Confessional: Dave (Wildest Weasels)

Dave seemed mildly annoyed at most, "When she first said that it was basically like a stab to the heart all over again. I haven't… completely lost my feelings for her." He admitted grudgingly, "It's just… Not meant to be and I respect that! I just wish she wasn't so reactionary about it…"

Afterwards a montage of several players were seen diving as well Brick, Duncan and Mike consistently diving into the water to collect their babies and carry them to the prams.

Brick had been going at a steady pace; successfully guiding Gwen, Zoey, Cameron, Leshawna and Shawn. Leaving only Owen, Cody, Jasmine and Sammy left from the Heroes to deliver to the motel. He would like to have been done with the challenge by now, but he wouldn't admit that Leshawna's weight was killing his overall good momentum as well as Cameron struggling to retrieve his key from Fang.

Duncan had been having a harder time. After delivering Heather, and with some coaxing from Alejandro, he had delivered Jo, Heather, Topher, Lightning and Alejandro himself after Courtney reassured him that she would get Scott and Amy to jump. Despite being slightly behind he was still overall doing fine since none of his teammates were particularly heavy nor did any of them take a ridiculously long time finding keys.

Mike was feeling himself getting winded, he just didn't have the stamina to keep pushing people like Brick or Duncan. After managing to deliver Noah and Dave with little trouble, his team had been struggling from then on. Harold nearly suffered heart palpitations trying to retrieve a key and get away from Fang, forcing Mike to dive in multiple times to save him. B managed to retrieve his key quickly, but needed multiple breaks whilst running to the motel. Mike still had to deliver Sierra, Lindsay, Dawn, Sky and Sugar. He wasn't liking his team's chances.

Sammy had been volunteered to go next by Jasmine; which is what Amy was waiting for as the older sister let out a snarl and tackled her sister off the cliff, with Sammy shrieking and everyone else in shock of what had just happened.

"It appears I should go next…" Dawn said quietly, and without inquiring with her team, jumped off next in the hopes of stopping them.

What transpired next were some of the most tense moments of the challenge as none of the three girls surfaced. Underwater however, an underwater camera zoomed in on Amy yanking Sammy's hair, Sammy struggling to get her sister off, and Dawn herself wrapping her arms around Amy's torso to force her off of Sammy. After a few more moments of struggling, Amy took the chance she was looking for, noticing a mutant shark headed their way she suddenly let go of Sammy and kicked her in the stomach; propelling the younger sister towards the man eating shark.

The camera panned towards the surface again, with even Brick, Duncan and Mike looking concerned at what was happening. Finally, someone rose from the water with a key in hand.

It was red.

Amy waved her key around, signaling Duncan to collect her. The Delinquent scoffed and made his way to pick up the bratty older sister.

A few minutes after Duncan and Amy had left; Sammy resurfaced looking a little bruised but overall fine as she struggled to hold up two keys in one hand, blue and yellow, while with her other arm trying to keep an unconscious Dawn afloat.

Brick took action immediately and dived in whilst Mike froze, unsure of whether he was allowed to collect Dawn. It ultimately didn't matter as Brick ended up carrying both Sammy and Dawn to shore simultaneously. Sammy quickly waved Mike over.

"H-hurry! You have to take Dawn!" She breathed out heavily, trying to collect her breath. Mike nodded, a little shell shocked, but quickly getting over it as he carried Dawn to the pram. However-

"Hey! Mike! Dawn chose to run, so no pushing her!"

Mike grit his teeth, "Seriously?" he couldn't help questioning the mega phone that had gone off. He took a few deep breaths to calm down, realizing that changing into Chester would be the worst thing to happen.

"There's no rules about carrying her there! Brick, help Mike get Dawn on his back!" Sammy commanded.

"Yes ma'am!" Brick saluted, jogging over and helping Dawn onto Mike's back.

"Thanks Brick, you're a good guy." Mike smiled wryly, hiding the smallest amount of envy to give his thanks.

Brick shrugged it off, "It's Sammy you should be thanking, I wouldn't have thought of this on my own."

After securing the smaller girl on Mike's back, Brick quickly ran over to Sammy and began pushing her towards the motel. Mike tried to follow as quickly as possible, but had a bit of trouble.

"I don't really get why she did that," Mike couldn't help rubbing the back of his neck, "It would have been more convenient for her to leave Dawn behind and secure a huge lead. But she didn't…" He smiled more genuinely. "I hope I get to talk to her some more, I owe one."

A brief montage showed Jasmine jumping into the water and retrieving her key with no issue, Duncan and Courtney bickering the entire time he pushed her to the motel, and Lindsay having to jump back into the water because she picked up a blue key instead of a yellow one. Chester briefly made an appearance, but Mike quickly regained control.

The only remaining divers left were Cody and Owen from the heroes; Scott and the absent Scarlett from the villains; and Sierra, Sky and Sugar from the wildcards.

Duncan was the first to arrive after dropping off Courtney. He was completely winded, but he couldn't help grinning to himself cockily as he was in the lead despite the major disadvantages he had been given beforehand. He stretched his muscles and used the hem of his shirt to wipe the sweat from his brow. "SCOTT! IT'S YOUR TURN!"

"NO WAY MAN! HE'S WAITING FOR ME!" Scott screamed in terror, wide eyed as he shook in fear as Fang snarled his teeth at him maliciously.

Duncan groaned and decided to lay down on a nearby rock for a quick nap, too tired to argue with Scott.

"What was I supposed to do!?" Duncan asked incredulously, "The chicken wouldn't jump! And I was not about to climb up that mountain just to push him off!"

Brick came back in deep and shallow breaths after confirming Jasmine had successfully ran to the motel. He was covered in sweat; his face was red and his clothes had multiple sweat stains on them.

"I…" Owen trembled, gulping as he noticed Brick was waiting.

"I'll go." Cody reassured Owen, "Take all the prep you need, big guy, just like the first season yeah?"

Owen smiled gratefully, "Thanks buddy, I totally owe ya!"

Cody nodded, screaming as he dived into the water.

As he hit the water, Mike finally came back from dropping off Lindsay. After he reached the shore he fell on his back and took in big gulps of breaths, completely worn out.

Sierra, noticing Cody had gone and Mike out of breath, decided to jump without consulting her remaining two teammates, resulting in surprised yelps when she dived off unexpectedly. "CODY!"

Sky couldn't help rubbing her brow, taking a sigh of relief. "She seems fine…"

"So how are you and Dave? Are you cluckin it in a love nest yet or what?"

Sky grit her teeth as she glared at Sugar's taunt, as she was filing her nails innocently. "I don't see how that's any of your business."

Sugar held her hands up in defense with a coy smile, "Now, now, teamie! I was just strikin a good ol' convo with my fave gal pal from Pahkitewwie ya know?"

"It's actually Pahkitew?"

"Dag nabbit I don't care about all those fancy names or whatever!" Sugar flared up, before her coy smile returned. "I was just thinkin', ya don't have many friends this season do ya? Dave is mighty bitter, and are you really gonna call all those other guys on the heroes your friends?"

"What is that supposed to mean?" Sky asked weary, "I didn't come out of that season with enemies!"

"Jazz and Shawn don't care about ya!" Sugar laughed in her face, causing Sky to wince, "Jazzy has it real good on her team, she got her freak boyfriend and that blonde doormat for her allies, she doesn't need you and she wouldn't be sad to see you gone either!"

"Wh-what are you even s-saying?" Sky muttered, crossing her arms. It's not that Sugar was inherently influencing her thoughts; but they are thoughts she had prior. She held a small amount of resentment for Jasmine as she was the catalyst to Sky and Dave's relationship falling apart. When she realized this, she turned those thoughts into spite and said some harsh things towards Shawn during the finale as retaliation.

So… Where did she stand with them?

"Of course… I don't have any friends either."

Sky raised a brow, her worried face turning more disbelieving as she thought of a reason why Sugar was saying this.

"Are you saying… You want to ally with me?"

"Your words not mine!" Sugar quickly cackled, "But sure thing! Let's be more than teamies and forget the past and all, sound good?" She held out her hand.

Sky apprehensively shook Sugar's hand. Once Sky turned away however, Sugar's face turned evil with a smirk.

"That was all a bunch of hogwash!" Sugar giggled behind her hand, "Sky is target number one! But to get the enemy out? You gotta pretend to work with 'em! She'll let down her guard… AND THEN I'LL STRIKE HER WITH THIS BASEBALL BAT!" She pulled out a baseball bat she was hiding behind her back and laughed wildly as she smacked it against her hand multiple times.

Cody was mildly struggling as he was mostly struggling to get a key, but before he knew it Fang was chasing him!

Cody tried to swim away, but Fang was just too fast for him! So he closed his eyes in anticipation and held his arms up defensively.

But nothing came.

Cody opened his eyes and realized Sierra had punched Fang's nose. "NOBODY TOUCHES CODY!" She snarled crazily, causing Fang to swim away in fright. Sierra then dropped a blue key into Cody's hand and winked at him as she swam away before waving her own yellow key.

"What was that…?" Cody asked unsurely, looking confused.

"DUH! Of course I was gonna help my Cody Wody!" Sierra swooned slightly, cupping her face as she daydreamed. "At this stage of the game, challenge strength is everything! So as long as Cody remains useful to his team, he won't get voted off!" She squealed in delight. "And of course I have my own plan."

Brick had quickly carried Cody to his pram and drove off, leaving a tired Mike to drag Sierra to shore. "I'm sorry Sierra, I just need a minute." Mike breathed.

Sierra bit her lip in guilt, "Yeah, I'm really sorry about this." and before Mike could react:

Sierra ripped his shirt off.

Mike took an intake of breath, his hair slicked back and his tired face was now replaced with a cocky one. "Ay yo? Are we on this island again? Is Annie here?"

Sierra nodded along, "Yup! She's by the motel in the love room, and she's waiting for you! But we're in the middle of a challenge, so for you to win you just have to push me towards it! If you get there faster than the other teams, you and Anne Maria get all the privacy you want!"

"Bada-Bing Bada-Boom!" Vito yelled out gleefully. "Give me directions girlie!"

"Roger that!" Sierra smiled sweetly.

"Total Drama Revenge of the Island, Episode 8! The Treasure Island of Dr. Mclean!" Sierra said quickly, "Cameron explains what triggers one of Mike's personalities, and he said Vito comes out when Mike's shirt is off! I figured we could use his… Machismo." The Fangirl then squealed again, "SEE HERE! I even got one of Mike's shirts to change him back!" She started proudly, holding up one of Mike's signature blue shirts.

"What's this!?" Chris said amusedly, "Scarlett finally makes a reappearance after being gone for a majority of the challenge! And she has something in her hand!"

Duncan stretched away the tiredness and yawned, getting ready to likely push Scarlett next. Scott on the other hand was immediately shaken. His initial plan had been to refuse to jump and pin the blame on Scarlett for the loss of the challenge, but with her reappearance meant Scott would almost definitely need to jump into the mutant shark infested lake.

"HERE!" Scarlett thrusted an object into Scott's hand.

It was a glowing magnet.

"Uhh, how is this supposed to help?" Scott asked rudely, a sneer on his face.

Scarlett frowned at the condescension, but for the sake of the challenge ignored it, "The magnet repels a shark's electrical sensory, meaning all you have to do once you dive in the water is point the magnet at Fang and he won't bother you!"

Scott didn't seem convinced. "Fang's a mutant shark, are you sure this will work?"

Scarlett grunted in frustration, "Of course I accounted for that, which is why I have been missing for the majority of the challenge. I used the remaining radioactive spillage from your season that I could find to recreate a mutant magnet repeller! I suspected a normal magnet wouldn't disrupt Fang's electrical field, meaning I had to enhance the usage of the magnet by combining the chemicals that created Fang's mutantism in the first place!"

"Umm…"

"JUMP!" Scarlett screamed in his face, completely losing her composure.

Scott yelled in surprise, unintentionally falling into the lake with the mutant magnet repeller. When he hit the water, Fang was grinning at him which caused the red headed man to scream in fear. He then remembered the object Scarlett gave to him and held it up towards Fang.

The effect was immediate.

Fang's eyes widened in surprise as he showed legitimate fear, deciding that Scott wasn't worth it this time.

Scott cried tears of relief as he safely collected his red key. He waved the red key, "THANK YOU SCARLETT!" He couldn't help sobbing out, much to Duncan's second-hand embarrassment and Scarlett's knowing smirk.

"Scott was a useful guinea pig." Scarlett commented nonchalantly, "I realized the nature of this challenge put my team at a disadvantage unless I could quench Scott's cowardice. By going above and beyond, not only do I meet the conditions for my team to win this challenge and destroy the other team's spirits, I gain a potentially useful ally in Scott."

With the villains now back in the race, this was anyone's game to win as Owen, Scarlett, Sugar and Sky were the only remaining divers left.

And the first one to come back was Mike. The actual Mike, as his shirt was back on but his smile was gone.

He was completely in a bad mood.

This went unnoticed by his teammates as Sugar decided she would dive next, much to Sky's frustration. With no Fang left to bother anyone, Sugar was free to roam underwater.

That's when she saw two yellow keys.

A devious idea made its way into her mind.

Sugar soon enough swam up to shore with a yellow key in hand. Mike wordlessly dived into the water to retrieve Sugar.

Meanwhile Brick and Duncan had finally returned, signaling Owen and Scarlett to jump respectively.

"You first." Scarlett offered in politeness.

"Umm… I insist you go first…" Owen chuckled weakly.

The two were silent for a while, before Scarlett began glaring down Owen, and the fatter boy decided he was more scared of this smart redhead girl than any phobia of heights.

"WAHHHHHHHHHH!"

And on impact, Owen splashed the ocean. Luckily for him, a blue key had washed up on shore and Brick was quick to point it out. "OWEN! YOUR KEY IS RIGHT HERE!"

Owen swam to shore and pocketed the key, before sprinting with Brick towards the finish.

"Your keys here too Scar-face!" Duncan yelled up to Scarlett. She nodded in acknowledgement and dived in the lake, which was very mild in comparison to Owen. She quickly swam to shore and retrieved her key, getting in the pram while Duncan yelled in cheer; convinced of his team's victory.

"Where is he…?" Sky muttered out nervously.

As Mike was running back after dropping off the very heavy Sugar, he was nervous when Duncan and Scarlett passed by him. And a few minutes later he passed by Owen and Brick, the latter trying his hardest to motivate the former.

"Uh oh…"

After a few minutes later, Mike finally made it back and signaled for his last teammate to jump. "SKY!"

Sky was relieved and immediately dived looking for this key.

Meanwhile however…

"THE VILLAINOUS VULTURES TAKE FIRST PLACE! WINNING THE CHALLENGE AND REWARD!"

The Villainous Vultures all hollered in victory, with Duncan flexing his exhausted muscles, "No need to thank me or anything, not like I did most of the heavy lifting!"

Heather smirked into her hand, "Aww, would you like a medal to go with that?"

"Get bent."

This meant it was now a race for second place. Brick & Owen vs Mike & Sky.

Owen was going at a steady pace before he ended up tripping over one of the tree roots, which caused him to cry out in pain, "Oooh! The pain! The agony! Leave me behind! I can't go on!"

Brick's face hardened, "Not a chance soldier, I did that once and it caused my defeat. No soldier gets left behind!"

And in the most impressive feat of strength this episode, Brick managed to get Owen on his back and slowly trudged towards the finish line, determined to save his team from elimination.

Sky was almost hyperventilating. She was sure she had searched all over the lake for this key and yet it was nowhere to be found!

"CHRIS!" Sky yelled angrily, "WHERE IS THIS KEY!?"

Chris shrugged down at her, "NOT MY PROBLEM, KEEP SEARCHING!"

"WHAT'S THE MATTER?!" Mike yelled.

"I CAN'T FIND THIS KEY!" Sky yelled back.

To the despair of Mike and Sky, the loud speaker went off with Chris's annoyingly grating voice. "I'VE BEEN INFORMED THAT THE HEROES TAKE SECOND PLACE! WILDCARDS, YOU HAVE A DATE WITH ME AT TONIGHT'S BONFIRE CEREMONY!"

Sky swam to shore and angrily punched the ground below her, her rage consuming her emotions. Mike was equally distraught as he curled into a ball and held his head.

"I swear that key was not in the lake! I searched everywhere!" Sky screamed out, pointing an accusatory finger at the camera lens.

The Wildest Weasels all gathered together as they all sat awkwardly outside of their cabin.

"So…" Noah couldn't help prompting. "Naturally, isn't Sky to blame for this?"

Sky flared up immediately, "I know you don't like me, but this attitude is completely uncalled for! Why shouldn't we vote for you?"

"I agree with that." Dawn said, supportive of the idea to vote against Noah

"At least I got my key! As far as I'm concerned I did my bit, you didn't." Noah pointed out.

Harold tapped his chin, "Technically you were always going to do your bit when you went first. Going last must have been a lot of pressure for Sky."

"I wasn't pressured!" Sky replied hotly, "I searched that entire lake and it was nowhere to be found whatsoever!"

"It's okay to admit you messed up, nobody could fault you for that." Harold replied, not realizing he was just egging on Sky's temper.

"If not Sky, then why not Dawn?" Noah said, redirecting his strategy. "She fainted during the challenge right? That's even worse than Harold."

Sugar was eager to agree, "Totally! This ain't no game for the weak of heart, if ya faintin' during the first challenge don't that mean you're just a… a… umm…"

"Liability?"

"Yeah! That!"

Dawn pursed her lips, "I admit my performance was weak, but it was not responsible for our loss."

"Meaning you blame Sky?" Noah quickly baited.

Dawn didn't take the bait.

"Well I'm gonna take a nap! Continue the discussion if ya want, but I need my beauty sleep!" Sugar said, walking into the girls side of the cabin.

Lindsay scratched her head. "Can we vote for her? She's scary." She admitted, talking about Sugar.

"B wasn't exactly on his A game." Dave next voiced, surprising the bigger man as his eyes raised. "Is he worth voting off?"

"I'm not voting B." Mike said tiredly, "I would rather vote for the person who decided to use my disability against me…"

"Oh come on Mike!" Sierra said exasperatedly, "I was just motivating you to complete the challenge! Why not use it for the benefit of the team?"

"You're joking right?" Mike glared.

"OH-MAH-GAWD!"

Sugar quickly stepped out of the cabin in a rage and marched up towards Sky.

"WHY WAS THIS IN YOUR CLOTHES!?"

And to the shock of Sky and the remaining Wildcards, Sugar pulled out a yellow key.

"I- what?" Sky muttered out, completely dumbfounded.

"Did you make us lose on purpose!?" Harold accused, glaring at Sky.

"No- I, uhh, what?" Sky couldn't help muttering out. "That was not in my clothes! I told you guys I couldn't find it!"

"YOU WANTED US TO LOSE ON PURPOSE!" Sugar cried crocodile tears, who had chosen Lindsay to cry on much to her discomfort.

"Wow Sky, I didn't take you for the sabotaging type." Noah said uncaringly.

Sierra fixed her own glare, "Yeah Sky, what were you thinking?"

"I didn't do it! Sugar's framing me!" Sky defended with ferocity, her thoughts clearing as she finally deduced what was going on. Sugar gasped in horror.

"I would do no such thing! I did a lotta evil things, but sabotage!? OH THE HUMANITY!"

"You can stop lying Sugar."

Sugar's tears quickly dried as she redirected a glare at an unexpected party.

"SHUT YOUR PIE HOLE!" She shouted at Dawn, who had stood up for Sky.

"Friends! Don't you see? Sugar is copying Scott's strategy! He did it to me and I know when someone is being framed like this!" She argued desperately in Sky's favor, "Please believe me! Please believe Sky!"

Sky was incredibly touched, not expecting anyone to defend her. As the others searched for something to say, the mega phone went off.

"CEREMONY TIME!"

"SUGAR!" Sky screamed in rage, "I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN! She was the second last person to dive! When she had her turn, she must have pocketed the last key and waited for the right time to frame me!" The Wildcards took their seats around the campfire as Chris held a platter with nine marshmallows on it. "You all know the drill, if I call your name, you're safe. The person who doesn't receive the marshmallow of safety will walk down the dock of shame!"

"Wait!" Dawn interrupted, one last plea on her lips.

"Make it quick." Chris frowned,

Dawn cleared her throat and continued. "I have a proposal. I suggest we limit our targets to Sugar and Sky. If you believe Sky like I do, vote against Sugar. If you believe Sugar however, vote against Sky. That's fair, is it not?"

There were collective murmurs from everyone, with Sky tensing her muscles as either her or Sugar was about to be voted off.

Everyone went into the voting booth one by one. After everyone had gone, Chris tallied the votes.

"Well, since Dawn ruined most of our tension. I'm gonna quickly throw out the names of everyone who didn't receive a vote against them: Mike, Dawn, B, Dave, Lindsay, Sierra and Harold! None of you had any votes cast against you!"

The only remaining players were Sky, Sugar and Noah.

Noah raised a brow, "I see not all of us stuck to the agreement…"

"Unfortunately, the penultimate marshmallow goes to Noah!"

Noah rolled his eyes as he collected his marshmallow.

"And the final marshmallow goes to…"

As Chef dragged Sugar away, Chris turned towards the camera and gave a dazzling smile. "What a dramatic episode! Is it just me, or did that taste very sweet?" He chuckled to himself, "Curious to see who's eliminated in the next episode? Why did Dave save Sky? Is this the start of a budding reunion? Or will Dave come to regret his decision? 30th: Sugar

A/N: And thus we have our very first elimination!

I know Sugar is a widely unpopular character amongst the fandom, but personally speaking I don't have much of an issue with her as a character. She's a unique concept and even though she's a character I struggled to write personally, I think she's ultimately a better character for this story than someone like Ella. Sugar was a very easy first boot admittedly, but I knew I could get a lot of drama out of her in a short amount of time which is ultimately what mattered and why she went from a voting perspective.

So this is my first ever written elimination! I'm a little nervous for how it came out, so any feedback is largely appreciated. I'm aware a lot of characters were ignored this chapter, and I think that's going to be a recurring theme depending on the state of the game. As such characters like Gwen, Jo, Lightning, Lindsay and Harold (just on the top of my head) weren't written with an amazing amount of focus. With a huge cast like this though? It makes it hard to write everyone authentically, but I hope the storytelling currently is compelling enough where you can ignore that flaw in my story and keep enjoying it!

This was also my first written challenge! I knew I was always going to use All Stars concept of diving off a cliff, but that by itself I feel like would have been boring which is why I added a lot of features to this challenge that I hope weren't too confusing!

Cody Fanatic: "I think it's important to remember that Sammy and Amy have had a substantial amount of time away from the show, which has given Amy more opportunities to torment Sammy. Just because Sammy came out of her experience a stronger character, doesn't mean she's entirely used to being fearless. She's going to have her own fears and I hope if anything isn't explained at first glance that you'll trust me to address it eventually when it becomes relevant to the story."

LaCuevademisgustos: "Dave is arguably a complex character who was unfortunately put in a very simple story. I think the misconception with Dave's character is that he's out of his mind and is completely irredeemable because of that. I think while everyone's opinions on Dave are valid, I intend to view his character in a more nuanced introspective. In particular this nuance needs to be explored with Sky, where both of these characters have had time to reflect and form their own opinions towards their relationship (which played a big part this chapter). I'm sorry you feel that way about Sammy, I know everyone expects a really confident version of her but that makes her uninteresting to the story currently which is why she's in a more reclusive state. As for the challenges I appreciate the advice! I've already planned what challenges I want to use for the future (or at least a good few couple) and intend to use those, but thanks for the suggestions!"

Gucci Mane LaFlare: "Aww! Thank you for the praise! I appreciate it a lot!"

Guest: "I'm glad you're enjoying my Dave! He's one of the most interesting characters, even if he isn't my personal favorite. I think you'll like my depiction of Noah, even though he wasn't first boot I think he has a lot to offer in terms of perspective for his team! Whether he words it nicely is another matter altogether. I think its fair to view Cody as having an innocent crush, but personally I find him sniffing Gwen's hair and betting on her bra to be fairly creepy. This was toned down in World Tour just because of Sierra, but it doesn't mean he hasn't grown out of his creepy mannerisms or anything."

PrincessGumballWatterson777: "Sorry to disappoint, but the Ridonculous Race characters would completely ruin the flow of this season."

HardcoreAsylum: "I think this was partially my fault for not wording this more accurately, but Leshawana was regarding her teammates as strategists in that sentence. Cody and Owen haven't proven they're spectacularly amazing strategists, even despite Owen's continuously impressive placement record."

MaverickNerd: "Lucky you! Sugar was eliminated first! I agree completely! In a cast like this her story potential was very limited which is why I decided she made the most sense for first boot. I do disagree with Ella or Izzy as replacements. Replacing her with Izzy ruins my criteria of balancing each of the generations as much as possible, and Ella is frankly not a very interesting character for this specific type of story. It's going to have a lot of conflict, and if Ella was in this season I think she would be one of the first five players eliminated from the season due to her pacifism!"
