And that's how you scare somebody
Classes had already ended a bit ago and the school facilities are almost empty with the exception of a few people still around or the ones that are still in clubs.
Riko is one of them.
The burgundy haired girl is walking calmly through the solitary hallways of the school, heading to the music room where she agreed to meet Yoshiko in the hope of showing her the piece she has been practicing for the upcoming piano contest.
As she keeps approaching to the music room, she hears a light mumbling and shuffling coming out of it, unaware of what the blue haired girl is doing hidden behind the door of the music room waiting for her neither her intentions.
As soon as Riko crosses the doorstep, Yoshiko quickly jumps right in front of her.
- Boo!
She shouts at the top of her lungs, positioning her hands like claws or paws, Riko isn't sure of it, and what she pretends to be a terrifying expression on her face to scare the burgundy haired girl, but far from that, what she manages to do is to make the other girl start laughing.
- W-Why are you laughing!? You're supposed to be yelling scared! – Yoshiko yells out outraged.
- S-Sorry, Yocchan. You… haha, you were way too cute to be scared – Riko says between giggles and Yoshiko can't help but blush deeply, crossing her arms over her chest and puff out her cheeks before looking away.
- Whatever... j-just show me the piece – she mumbles as Riko giggles more and pokes her cheek.
Yoshiko grumbles and moves away to sit on the piano bench, trying to escape away from Riko's poking.
Riko smiles amused at her, but sits beside her nonetheless, placing her fingers gracefully over the keys.
She looks at Yoshiko out of the corner of her eye, seeing how she has her full attention before starting playing elegantly the piece.
She keeps observing Yoshiko, slowing down her playing to watch a frown appearing on the other girl's face.
- Yocchan?
- Yes, Riri?
Riko sees Yoshiko's gaze leave the keys to look up at her and that's enough for her to stop playing and turn around to face her, quickly kissing Yoshiko on the lips.
- Kya!
She hears Yoshiko squealing, falling off the piano bench onto the floor.
- W-W-What was that!? – Yoshiko squeals, touching her lips shocked and Riko can't help but start giggling again at her cuteness.
- That's how you scare somebody – she says cutely in between giggles, sticking out her tongue and winking at Yoshiko, who blushes deeply and quickly looks away to try to hide it.
This stubborn but cute gesture only makes Riko end up laughing wholeheartedly, much to Yoshiko's embarrassment and delight.
