I love you like a love song
Riko can't help but sigh for what it feels like the nth time in the evening as she stares at the blank page placed in front of her on her desk waiting to be filled in.
Her gaze then wanders to her pen, playing with it, twirling it in between her fingers as she tries to understand why she has to be the one writing the lyrics for a new Guilty Kiss song. Lyrics about love no less, but then again it's impossible to find any kind of logic when it comes to a certain shiny blonde and her crazy ideas.
Why of all the things and topics Mari could have chosen for them to sing about, it had to be specifically about love? Riko isn't even sure if she knows what love really is...
Another heavy sigh escapes Riko's lips as she sets the pen down and crosses her arms over the desk to rest her head on them and take a break, closing her eyes as she wonders how a certain fallen angel is doing. Wondering if Yoshiko is having better luck than she is having at the moment since the younger girl is the one in charge of composing the melody of their new song.
A soft smile spreads across her lips as she thinks about the younger girl, imagining Yoshiko in her bedroom playing with her pencils while drumming her desk energetically as if she was an acclaimed drummer, or maybe doing some strange poses pretending to be strumming the strings of a fictitious guitar in the air.
Riko can't help but laugh imagining the younger girl in such a situation pretending to be a rockstar, while hoping she isn't going dark or emo for their love song.
She can't help but imagine Yoshiko's wild moves as she pretends to be playing an instrument like a true rockstar, her long blue hair swaying at it making her breath get caught in her throat with the mere thought of it. With the thought of the way her mesmerizing deep magenta eyes sparkle so intensely, so fiercely as a happy smile is present on her features making her look even more beautiful than she already is, before finishing her impromptu "performance" to pose with her signature gesture.
Riko feels her heart beating faster than ever upon imagining such a cute and hot show, opening her eyes abruptly to take her pen back.
As soon as her pen makes contact with the blank page resting on her desk, Riko feels as if her hand moves on its own will, flowing through the page length writing the lyrics for their new song. Writing her feelings and everything she loves about the blue haired girl in it.
The burgundy haired girl then hums satisfied as she finishes writing the lyrics, before yelping upon the abrupt sound of her phone ringing with the familiar tune of the girl that occupied her thoughts until a couple of seconds ago.
Riko feels her heart fluttering in anticipation, before she quickly takes the call.
- Good evening, my elite demon Riri. I just wanted to inform you that this fallen angel just finished composing the superb melody that will accompany your majestic lyrics, and that will make of this new song a true masterpiece that not even Mozart nor Beethoven could have even dreamt of or even could have competed against.
Yoshiko ends up saying, and Riko can't help but let out a cute giggle, a light blush dusting her cheeks as a wide smile plays on her lips upon the compliments of the other girl.
- You think so highly of it – she comments in a humorous tone, hearing Yoshiko chuckle.
- Of course I do my elite demon Riri. Together we create the best things in the world, so now we just have to wait and hope that Mari can match up with our grandeur.
- And if she doesn't? – Riko asks playfully.
- Fear not my Riri, this fallen angel has already thought on everything. We could always kick her off the group and become a successful duo, or trust that my killer moves will save us and make our song and performance even more superb than what any mortal could have ever imagined.
Riko can't help but laugh more at Yoshiko's comments and confidence, her heart beating even faster than before as the fallen angel refers to her as "my Riri".
- Then I'm looking forward to listening to how our song comes together.
Riko says softly, wanting nothing more than to listen to their particular "love song" finished.
- Me too, Riri. It's really a pity that Mari has to partake in this too.
Yoshiko says while pouting guiltily and sadly even though Riko can't see her, but that doesn't mean she can't imagine her, eliciting a giggle from her.
- Don't be bad. I'm sure we can always compose our particular love song together after this one – Riko suggests bashfully, hearing Yoshiko shriek at the other side of the phone.
- I-it'll be a true honor, my Riri!
Yoshiko exclaims rather effusively, and Riko can't help but feel her heart beating even faster and harder upon the premise of it, blushing hard.
Maybe she doesn't really know what love is, but she does know what it is to love Yoshiko.
