Authors Notes: And now here we are with Chapter 4 of Heroes of Power, now this one is of my own original creation and I decided to introduce an element from the classic Ben 10 series now lets enjoy.

:A Corroded Blast From the Past:
Far away on the outskirts of the Whispering Woods of Etheria, an industrial complex was set up. The owners of this complex was the evil Horde themselves. It was a mining complex soldiers guarded its perimeter for any sign of intruders who may wish to attack.
Deep inside the many tunnels of the mine Horde Bots and soldiers were drilling in for ore. Two soldiers manned the drilling bot drilling straight into the ground itself. In the main chamber a base was build to filter out the rocks and extract the ore whilst drilling for more.
Just as the drill kept drumming suddenly the drill hit something and stopped.
"Hey we hit something." Said a soldier who was also a lizard.
The other soldier manning the drill jumped from his station and pulled out his shock baton just in case. The drill was pulled from the hole. Upon looking in the tunnel they saw something glowing in the wall it was a purplish looking glow.
The soldier activated his com channel. "Force Captain Grizzlor, we've found something in mine tunnel D-75, origin unknown.
"Extract it, it could be of great use to the Horde." The Force Captain responded on the com channel.
"Yes sir." The soldier said and so the soldiers took a couple of drill devices and began drilling around the strange glow.
Some drilling later it was revealed to be a rather large purple glowing crystal, embedded in the ground itself.
The soldiers took a closer look, and were so entranced by its glow however little did they know what was happening.
On the outside of the mine a storm was gathering and as a flash of purple lightning flashed in the sky ear splitting roars could be heard from the mine itself.
Bright Moon:
Far away as birds flew across the kingdom of Bright Moon the Revonnahgander plumber was hard at work. He was working hard on repairing the Proto Truck, and after the mission at the Saleina's Sea Gate he had found the time to do had removed the wings of the truck so he could focus on the main body of the ship. He had a panel open on the left side of the ship repairing components were damaged in the crash. He slid under the truck to do some repairs below.
"Rook?" Called a voice. "Someone call?" Rook said as he got up but accidentally banged his head on the truck. He looks to see Bow standing above him from the truck.
"Oh sorry." Bow apologised. "You alright?"
"Yes I am uninjured." Rook said.
"So what you up to?" Bow asked.
"Well I was making repairs to the Proto Truck, but whilst the structure is salvageable it would seem some of the components were damaged in the crash." Rook explained.
Bow looked over the truck himself and he had to admit he was very impressed he had never seen anything like this before.
"Wow I wish I could've seen this thing when it wasn't wrecked it looks sweet." Bow said.
"Yes as you say my ride is a flavour not unlike candy." Rook took the compliment.
"Say, Rook I never asked, but whats that weapon you carry on your shoulder?" Bow then asked.
Rook could tell he was talking about the Proto-Tool and he decided to explain it to the marksman given he had taken an interest.
"Its called the Proto-Tool." Rook explained as he pulled the weapon off his shoulder. "Its a multipurpose multi use piece of technology, it can function as any weapon I choose."
He then changed the weapon into its different modes, a blaster, to a sword, a staff, a bow and to a grappling hook.
"Wow thats incredible." Bow said in awe.
"Its also pretty useful." Called a voice and they looked to see someone helping Rook.
It was a red skinned gremlin looking creature with spiked ears, green eyes with black pupils and wore what looked like a pilots suit in green and black with a white ascot around his neck. He bore a familiar looking hour glass symbol on his waist.
"AH GREMLIN!" Bow exclaimed.
"Bow calm down it's Ben." Rook assured and Bow looked to see the hourglass symbol on his waist.
"Oh sorry man." Bow said. "Eh I get it man Juryrigg has that effect." Juryrigg understood.
"Juryrigg?" Bow wondered.
"Yes Juryrigg has the ability to disassemble and reassemble machines." Rook explained as Juryrigg demonstrated.
The alien gremlin was jumping around the Proto-Truck taking apart and reassembling different components on the vehicle such as the paneling and the damaged doors.
"FIX FIX FIX FIX!" Juryrigg said rather mischievous as he reassembled some parts on the truck.
"Wow, talk about fast repairs." Bow said impressed.
"Indeed." Rook said. "Also I have noticed you use trick arrows in combat."
"Oh yeah, made them myself." Bow said pulling one of his arrows from his quiver. "Each one has a different function like a zip line or even a net."
"Impressive." Rook said then the marksman/tech master had a creative idea.
"Say I wonder if I could upgrade my arrows and bow to make them multipurpose like your Proto Tool?" He wondered.
"Hm I suppose it is possible, and we could make use of the spare parts for the Proto-Tool and inter-grate it with your arrows." Rook theorised.
"That sounds great!" Bow was rather excited. However before they could do so.
Glimmer and Adora teleported in and the Bright Moon Princess was looking rather distressed.
"Guys we have an emergency!" Glimmer said. Just as Juryrigg reverted back to Ben.
"Whats up?" He asked.
"We just got word, Plumeria was attacked." Adora reported.
"All right finally some action!" Ben said but everyone looked with glaring eyes knowing this wasn't a joking matter.
"But bad bad for all those people in Plumeria who were attacked, uh shall we?" Ben said retracting his earlier statement.
Plumeria:
The forest agricultural kingdom of Plumeria surrounded by trees and thriving with life. Its people optimistic, nature loving and desire to live life in peace, renouncing violence of all kinds. Not the kind of thing you would want to see in war but the people do what they must. The people live in huts and tents made from the vast numbers of trees and at the centre of this village was The Heart Blossom, a large great pink coloured tree with the runestone at its centre.
The Best Friend Squad with Ben and Rook in tow soon arrived on the scene. However what they found wasn't a peaceful village but most of the Plumerians were in a bit of a panic. Their tents were torn to pieces and the ground looked like a shredded piece of paper.
Ben looked at one of the shredded tents almost as if it was sliced by something with a blade as sharp as a serrated energy blade.
"What could have done all this?" Ben wondered.
Rook took a closer look at the torn tents and destroyed huts and examined the clean cut on the fabric.
"Given the clean cut on the fabric I would deduce the culprit to be an Akiridion serrator blade." Rook guessed. "However given there are none on this planet, this could potentially be the work of the Horde."
"When is it never." Glimmer added.
"Oh your all here thank goodness." Called a voice and the two looked to see Princess Perfuma with the rest of her people.
"Perfuma what happened here?" Bow asked.
"We aren't sure, one of my people said some kind of monster charged in here and tore everything apart, our huts our trees everything." Perfuma explained.
"Did any of them get a good look at this creature?" Rook asked.
"Well one said it was jagged and had purple cracks on it." Perfuma said.
"Uh Adora do the Horde have anything of that description in the Fright Zone?" Bow asked a little fearful.
"Nope not that I know of" Adora said. "But I don't think this was the work of the Horde."
"What but it has to be this fits them perfectly?" Glimmer questioned.
"I don't know I mean didn't you say they wanted to conquer the kingdoms?" Ben said.
"Yeah and to kill the woods so they can get to Bright Moon, but if this was them they would have set up here, but I don't see any Horde occupation otherwise we would have met them on the way in." Adora deduced.
"But how can we know for sure?" Bow asked.
Ben took a moment to think about how to get a solid conclusion, then suddenly an idea popped into his head, he knew just what to do.
"I have an idea." Ben said as he activated the Omnitrix and began selecting an alien until he found the one he wanted. He slammed down the dial and everyone was blinded in a green light.
In his place stood a rounded robot like alien with golden metal skin, with black stripes and green glass on his chest showing cogs and gears in the shape of a hexagon, his head was a key shape like for a clock. He had small green eyes and a green lined mouth. The Omnitrix symbol was located on his chest.
Perfuma was more than startled. "How did he do that?" She asked.
"Oh yeah Ben has a watch that turns him into things." Bow said.
Adora knocked on the aliens metal arm with wonderment. "So uh what do you call this one?"
"I call zis one Clockverk." Clockwork introduced.
"Clockverk?" Adora questioned. "It is actually pronounced Clockwork." Rook explained to which Adora nodded.
The Chronosapian then turned his attention to the flower princess. "Now Perfuma vere did your people last see zis monster?"
Perfuma pointed to the spot where the monster was when it attacked and Clockwork walked close to it and stood still. Then the cog on the top of his head started turning backwards and glowed green. Suddenly the area was completely coloured green. Everyone was more than surprised. Then the people were shown in the hologram screaming and running for their lives in reverse.
"What, whats happening?" Glimmer said rather startled.
"We are watching past events unfold." Rook said which earned a confused look from everyone present.
"Chronosapiens, the species Clockwork belongs to possess the ability to manipulate time and even show holograms of events that have already transpired."
"Clockwork, oh I get it." Bow realising the significance of the name that Ben gave this creature.
Then suddenly the hologram showed a projection of the culprit it was a monster its body was warped and rather twisted with cracks near the eyes and head with sharp teeth and torn was so spooked by it she moved away and soon found herself in Rooks arms who was all but startled and she in turn just turned away blushing.
"Well theres our monster." Adora guessed.
As Clockwork watched he couldn't help but see something familiar about this creature. Something he had seen before a long time as the reverse enactment ended the Omnitrix started beeping and then reverted Clockwork back to Ben.
"Okay so it is a monster but it still doesn't tell us anything about it or if the Horde is behind this." Glimmer said.
Ben then had a thought. "Say Perfuma before this monster attacked did anything else happen, like anything weird?"
"I don't think anything weird happened before this monsters arrival Ben." Perfuma said but then remembered something. "Well other than the strange weather."
"Strange how?" Rook asked. "Well a while before the attack there were storm clouds overhead and then just a flash of lightning." Perfuma explained.
"I don't remember any storm?" Bow said as there was no storm in the Whispering Woods.
"Yeah whats so strange about that?" Adora wondered.
"It was the lighting it was purple." The minute Perfuma mentioned that Bens face froze in shock he now remembered where he'd seen that monster before but how was this possible.
"Ben are you okay?" Glimmer asked. "Yeah you look like you've seen a ghost?" Bow agreed.
"In a way I have I just hope I'm wrong." Ben said. "Perfuma did anyone see where this monster went?" Ben then asked with a more serious tone.
Perfuma pointed in the direction that the group had just come from.
"I might be headed to Bright Moon!" Glimmer said rather worried.
"We need to find it and stop it before it can hurt anyone." Adora said.
"But how do we find it?" Bow asked. "We track it's scent." Ben said as he activated the Omnitrix and changed forms yet again.
He's now in the form of what looks to be a larked muscular orange furred dog, with no eyes, ears or a tail, a row of sharp teeth stick out of his black lipped mouth with three gill shaped nostrils on each side of his neck with spines across his entire body. On his neck he wore a green and white collar with the Omnitrix symbol in the middle of it.
Everyone looked a little bewildered by the look of this large beast, more specifically his lack of eyes.
Wildmutt put his mouth close to the ground and began sniffing around for something. He kept sniffing around until he eventually picked up something. He turned to Rook and the others and growled to them and barked. Sadly they couldn't understand growling given this alien couldn't speak.
Wildmutt then hurried off into the forest. "I'm guessing he wants us to follow him." Adora guessed.
"How can he see where he's going he doesn't have eyes?" Glimmer wondered.
"No but Wildmutt as Ben calls him relies more on his sense of smell to guide him." Rook explained as the group followed him into the forest with Perfuma close behind.
The group were soon deep in the forest following the Vulpamancer as he tracked the scent. They looked around cautiously no telling how dangerous this monster could as they entered a clearing Wildmutt sensed something close by and growled warning everyone else.
"Somethings wrong." Rook said as he pulled out his Proto-Tool and likewise Adora and Bow pulled out their respective weapons.
The bushes started rustling in front of them and it was like the sound of footsteps could be heard as the ground shook. Glimmer readied her powers whilst Perfuma stood ready.
Then emerging slowly from the undergrowth, was the creature who attacked Plumeria and its full colours were in dark purple black with brown torn it didn't show Wildmutt looked in horror as what he feared was proven true.
"Oh boy he looks even uglier in person." Bow looked a little spooked.
"This should be easy." Adora said confidently.
However that confidence was short lived as behind it was a rather larger looking spider like creature in the same colour and appearance.
"Oh dear." Rook said. "Indeed." Perfuma agreed.
Wildmutt just growled at Adora almost as if he said "You just had to jinx it."
The two monsters charged towards them and Wildmutt let loose a roar as he too charged forwards and tackled the first monster to the ground however the infected spidermonster then swatted Wildmutt away into a tree.
"Ben needs our help!" Glimmer said.
"FOR THE HONOUR OF GREYSKULL!" Adora proclaimed as she raised the sword into the air and she transformed into She-Ra.
The monster approached Wildmutt only for it to be met by a sparkled energy blast straight to the turned and saw Glimmer and the rest of the squad she quickly teleported to Wildmutt then teleported him away again. The monster charged towards the group Bow acted fast and fired his trick arrows at the monster spider trying to trap it in goop which did set, however the monster with its brute strength broke free.
Rook acted quickly changed his Proto-Tool into a rocket launcher, loaded a rocket, targeted the beast and fired it hitting it dead in the side.
The monster glared towards the Plumber and charged straight towards him. He quickly changed the Proto Tool to his blaster and fired at him however the skin was so thick the laser blasts deflected off its shell. There wasn't enough time to jump clear.
However all of a sudden the roots of the forrest suddenly came alive and flooded the forest floor pushing the monster away from the Ravonnagander. Rook looked and saw it was Perfuma who just summoned those roots to save him. She looked to him and saw he smiled and nodded thanking her and all she could do was smile.
Meanwhile the first monster was slicing its claws towards She-Ra who blocked its attacks with her sword then slashed at it. The monster jumped back only to be met by Glimmers energy blasts which blinded the mutant and then trapped by Bows trick arrow nets. The mutant fell to the ground struggling to break free.
However the Spider Monster wasn't done yet, the beast broke free from the vine bonds and charged towards Perfuma. The flower princess used her powers to try and restrain the beast in roots but it just broke free. She was about to be flattened if a certain Ravonnagander didn't tackle her out of the way.
The beast was about to turn after them but coming in claws slashing was Wildmutt who tackled the beast to the side. The two stared each other down like two lions fighting over a scrap of meat. The mutated beast charged forwards first only for Wildmutt to leap out of the way and latch onto its back and took a bite straight into its skin. However his opponent had one advantage, extra legs. The beast swatted Wildmutt away and he just managed to land on the ground.
Before it could attack, She-Ra leaped in and jammed her sword into the ground sending out an energy wave forcing the beast back. Wildmutt then joined She-Ra's side and gestured for her to ride on his back. Though hesitant she could see she needed an advantage so she mounted the alien beast and readied her sword.
The mutated beast roared as it charged towards the two of them and Wildmutt just let out a roar and She-Ra pointed her sword forwards as they charged towards their opponent.
They drew ever closer to each other and when they got close enough Wildmutt leaped over the beast and She-Ra let loose an energy wave from her sword blasting the creature in the back and sent it crashing to the ground only for Perfuma's roots to subdue it.
Just as Wildmutt landed the Omnitrix timed out and transformed Wildmutt back to Ben. The smoke cleared to reveal She-Ra sitting on Bens back as he lay flat on the ground.
"Ben you okay?" She-Ra asked. "Yeah, just my everything hurts." Ben groaned. "Now if you could get off me."
She-Ra got up and helped the Omnitrix bearer to his feet just as she reverted back to Adora.
Everyone then went over to examine the now restrained monsters as they panted in exhaustion from trying to escape but failed.
"What kind of creatures would cause such disharmony in my home or even the forest?" Perfuma worried.
"I don't know but we caught them so problem solved." Glimmer said thinking they had subdued the threat.
However Ben wasn't so sure.
"I don't think so Glimmer, we may have a bigger problem on our hands here."
"Whats bigger than a couple of rampaging monsters?" Bow asked.
"Rook please tell me this wasn't caused by what I think it is." Ben said to his partner who took out his scanner and examined the creatures.
The scanner results suddenly came back but it was something that put a look of concern on the Plumbers face.
"I'm afraid it is Ben." The moment his partner said that Ben was shocked he now had the confirmation he was dreading.
"Why what is it?" Adora asked.
"After scanning this creature I have detected trace energy readings of Corrodium." Rook explained.
"Corrodium?" Bow asked.
"Yeah it's basically this mineral thats rich in energy, but it's not something you want to come into contact with." Ben explained to the master archer.
"Wait you don't mean.." Adora guessed.
"Yeah this is what mutated these two." Ben gestured. "Corrudium is very unpredictable and can mutate anyone who comes into contact with it."
"Thats awful." Pefuma said in shock.
"But where did it come from?" Glimmer then asked.
"Thats just it Corrodium is not found on planets like Etheria or even Earth." Rook explained. "Its very rare and can only be found in one place, the Anur System." Rook then took a moment to think about how this could have happened.
"If I had to hazard a guess, a meteor must have crashed around this area approximately a few thousand years back and over time became part of the planet."
"Until something or someone unearthed it and became this." Glimmer guessed Rook nodded in confirmation.
"Which means if we don't find the source of this soon.." Bow worried.
"Every living creature in the Whispering Woods could end up mutating into the same kind of monsters." Ben finished to which the monsters growled and let out a roar.
Bright Moon:
Everyone was now gathered in the war room with the holo map activated and the Queen was present. After explaining the situation to Angella this was of great concern so Rook suggested they try and find the source of the Corrudium and destroy it before any more monsters appear. Or worse if it ends up in the wrong hands.
"Based off Perfuma's intel the creature appeared in Plumeria from this direction." Rook pointed to the South west of the forest.
The General of Bright Moon who had tanned skin and a scar across her nose then looked at what the new recruit was pointing at.
"But theres nothing in that direction?" She said.
"Actually there is." Adora pointed out recognising the area all to well.
"Theres a Horde mining complex in that area." she said.
"What are they mining, gold?" Ben asked.
"No ore, they drill for ore to use in forging their weapons." Adora said rather ashamed, which did receive a bit of a glare from the Queen which did not go unnoticed by Ben.
"How much are you willing to bet thats where the Corrodium is." Bow guessed.
"So the Horde are behind this?!" Glimmer growled.
"Do not be so quick to jump to conclusions." Rook pointed out. "It is a likelihood they may have indirectly and accidentally discovered the substance whilst drilling for this ore."
Ben just let out a sigh mixed with some growing. "The Horde have no idea what they've just unearthed."
"Ben" Angella said getting his attention. "How dangerous exactly is this substance?"
"Try to imagine the most horrible thing times a thousand." Ben simply answered.
Angella now looked even more worried, if Ben thought this substance was dangerous this was of great concern not just to the Woods but also to the planet.
"We need to stay away from that area, if it were to spread imagine what…
"Your majesty I don't need to imagine it I've seen it happen once before." Ben interrupted the Queen.
"What do you mean?" Adora asked. Ben knew it was time they knew his past with this substance.
"Some years ago when I first got the Omnitrix, my Grandpa Max took me and my cousin Gwen to this farm to teach us about doing our choirs." Ben began.
Flashback:
"However what we didn't know was there was an alien Mummy on the loose." Ben explained.
The scene showed Ben and his Cousin Gwen at age 10 in a cattle field facing two cows that had been mutated.
"He was collecting the Corrodium." Ben explained as the scene showed a Mummy with glowing purple eyes pulling Corrodium out of the ground just as XLR8 arrived on the scene.
"Wait she wanted it as jewellery?" Bow questioned.
"What, no not that kind of Mummy, the kind that gets wrapped in bandages and buried in Egypt." Ben corrected.
"Whats Egypt?" Glimmer asked. Ben just rolled his eyes given Etheria had never heard of the legends in Earths folklore.
The scene then shifts to a shot of three monster aliens besides the Mummy there was an alien werewolf and what looked like a Frankensteins monster with electro rods and metal gauntlets.
"But that was just one part of it turns out it was all part of a scheme put together by one of my enemies." Ben explained.
The scene then revealed what looked like an alien ghost with a thin skull for a face wearing a bluish purple grim reaper like robe with a large pink eye in the centre.
"Zs'Skayr." Ben said in dread. "Believe it or not he used to be one of my aliens back then he was called Ghostfreak."
"How could one of your aliens be behind it?" Adora asked.
"Yeah I thought you said your transformations were blank slates for you to inhabit?" Bow questioned remembering the story Ben had told him of the Omnitrix.
"Well it turns out when his DNA was taken for the watch his consciousness remained with it." Ben explained. "Cause whenever I turned into him I always felt weird like I wasn't completely myself and it turns out he's been trying to get out so he could merge with me and become whole again."
The scene shifts to 10 year old Ben as Frankenstrike facing Zs'Skayr onboard a satellite orbiting Earth and how the Corroduim was used to block out the sun and beam a blast of the crystals energy on half the planet mutating them.
"I thought I had beaten him the first time but he was waiting for his monster Alien buddies to revive him to carry out their plans." Ben explained. "He'd planed to blast the Earth with Corrodium energy mutating innocent people below and with the sun blocked out he'd be at full strength since he didn't do good in sunlight."
"But thanks to me, my cousin and Grandpa Max we put an end to it."
Present Day
"I never thought I'd see that stuff again, until now that is." Ben said.
Everyone present couldn't believe what they had just heard, how this monster used a dangerous substance to mutate innocents just so he could rule the planet. Even the Horde wouldn't dare to sink that Glimmer knew they couldn't let what nearly happen to Bens planet happen to Etheria.
"Mom we need to find this Corrodium and destroy it!" Glimmer said.
"I'm not sure Glimmer if this is as radioactive as Ben and Rook say anyone trying to go near it could be infected." Angella said. "The best we can do is quarantine that area of the woods."
"We may not have to worry about being mutated your highness, I have some tech in my truck that may help in that area." Rook explained.
"Yeah and the longer we leave it be the greater the chance more creatures could be mutated." Glimmer added.
"Not to mention if the Horde discover what this stuff can do they may try to weaponise it." Bow agreed.
Angella took a moment to consider all that was said to her, the matter was indeed grave. And they were right they couldn't let this be otherwise it could spread to the forest and maybe other lands. She sighed before coming to a decision.
"Very well, but be careful all of you." She decided.
"We will mom." Glimmer said.
"Before we go I need to get something from my truck." Rook said as he and Ben headed out of the war room and to Rooks truck.
Outskirts of the Whispering Woods:
Just on the outskirts of the Woods Glimmer teleported in with Bow, Ben, Adora and Rook.
"Okay the mine should be this way." Adora pointed. The group then walked up to the edge of the forest and before them was said mining complex surrounded by perimeter walls.
"Whoa, I have to admit these Horde guys are industrious monkeys." Ben admitted.
Just then he noticed something near one of the trees in the forest. He couldn't believe it it looked like a white horse with a unicorn horn on its head with rainbow coloured wings and an orange coloured mane. It seemed to be eating some of the apples in the tree.
"What the…" "Ben" Rook said getting his attention.
"Are you alright?" He asked Ben looked back to the tree but the horse wasn't there anymore.
"Uh yeah I'm fine, just thought I..saw something." Ben answered but just dismissed it.
Rook pulled out his scanner and it was already beeping picking up energy traces from a distance from the mine."Scans are picking up a large amount of Corrodium readings from the mine." Rook said.
"Then we'll need to proceed with caution." Adora said rather cautiously. "Especially if this place is crawling with Horde Soldiers."
"If they haven't been mutated already." Bow said a little scared.
"Then stealth may not be an option." Rook guessed.
"That means theres only the direct route." Ben smirked.
Down in the mine tunnels all was quite that is until a drilling sound echoed through the tunnels. Suddenly the right wall cracked and exploded. The smoke cleared to reveal a large looking being. It had yellow coloured armour on his body, legs and head with a grey tail, jack hammer like arms wrist and hands with metal bolts on his shoulders, armadillo like feet and hands with grey ears coming from its helmet. He had small green eyes and bore a familiar hourglass symbol on his chest.
He had drilled his way in with his drill hand and emerging from the tunnel was the rest of the Best Friend Squad and Rook.
"Drilling all the way down to the tunnels is the direct route?" Bow questioned.
"Hey do you want to risk alerting the Horde or even the monsters?" Armodrillo asked just as the Omnitrix timed out turning him back to Ben.
Adora looked around but could see that something was amis in this mine tunnel.
"Somethings not right there should be guards in this tunnel." She said.
Rook then pulled out his scanner and scanned the area for any traces of the Corrodium or Horde soldiers. However Bow then saw something.
"Uh guys I think I know why."
Everyone hurried to where Bow was and what they found all but terrified them. It was a small group of Horde Soldiers, their armour and uniforms slashed and even had wounds.
"Are, are they?" Glimmer said to Rook who scanned their vitals.
"No they are alive just unconscious." Rook diagnosed.
"Glimmer, I don't suppose Etheria has giant Moles that get angry when Hordesman trespass on their turf?" Ben asked.
Glimmer just shook her head saying no. Rook took a closer look at the wounds and Bow pulled out an arrow that then took the shape of a magnifying glass.
"Hm the marks seem consistent with what we saw in Plumeria and the trees."Bow guessed.
Rook then looked at his scanner. "And judging by the Corrodium readings we must be close."
"Then lets go and destroy it." Glimmer said but before she could teleport Ben stopped her.
"Cool your jets princess." Ben said. "We can't go teleporting in especially with the corroduim involved."
"He's right you could teleport us right next to the Corrodium and we could all get mutated." Adora agreed.
Glimmer stopped to think for a moment and she realised they were right. "Alright so what do we do?" She asked.
Rook reached into his Proto tech armour and pulled out some round black disks with a red circle in the middle. He handed one to Adora, Glimmer, Ben and Bow.
"What are these?" Bow asked.
Rook placed the disk onto his chest and twisted it soon he was enveloped in a yellow latex like fabric which covered his entire body. He was now wearing a black and yellow like hazmat suit with a blue visor showing his face. Ben activated his suit as well.
"Level 12 hazmat suits they will protect us from the mutation effects." Rook explained.
"Yeah don't think your mom would appreciate it if we brought you guys back all mutated Glimmer." Ben pointed out.
With that Bow, Glimmer and Adora placed the disks on their chest and activating them enveloped them into hazmat suits of their own.
"Okay not my colour but it'll do." Glimmer said.
"Oh and Glimmer word to the wise no teleporting whilst in that suit you might leave it behind putting you at risk." Ben pointed out.
"So how do we get to the Corrodium?" Glimmer asked.
"We walk." Rook said and with that the group continued their exploration into the mines.
As they explored the ever deepening mine tunnels Rook armed himself with his Proto Tool from the front whilst Bow covered everyone from the back with his bow and trick arrows. Soon they arrived at an elevator.
"This should take us down to the main complex." Adora said as they boarded the elevator and activated it via the lever taking them down.
The lift shaft was rather deep and to Ben and the others it was taking a good while before they reached the main tunnels.
"Its a long way down?" Ben noticed.
"The upper level is the control area and maintenance the mine itself is far below." Adora explained having been to one of these mines before.
Soon they arrived at the lower levels of the mines however when they arrived it was full of a strange purple glow. Ben realised what this meant they were on the right track.
The group headed cautiously into the mines and soon arrived at the main complex of mine tunnels. In one Rook noticed the purple glow getting brighter from one of the tunnels. They headed towards it but haunted before they entered the tunnel. Rook signalled to Bow to follow his lead. They entered the tunnel weapons ready.
In the tunnel they saw what they were looking for, it was a rather large piece of Corrodium comprised of many crystals.
"Whoa thats a lot more Corrodium than I thought it was going to be." Ben said never seeing this much Corrodium before.
"It seems to be embedded into the rocks." Bow looked.
"You know it looks, kinda beautiful." Adora noticed. "Yeah if it wasn't trying to mutate us." Glimmer added. "So how do we get it out?"
However before Rook could answer, they were interrupted by the sound of a voice on the radio from one of the drilling mechs.
"Fright Zone to Mine D-7 acknowledge please." Said a voice on the radio.
"Oh no is the Horde they're asking for a report, they only happen every four hours." Adora said paniked.
"Great if someone doesn't answer the Horde could come here in full force!" Glimmer panicked. "Or worse get affected by this stuff."
"What do we do?" Bow said. Rook thought for a moment and decided there was only one thing they could do.
"Please respond." The Hordesman in the Frightzone manning the radio said but still no answer. "Okay if you don't answer in the next five minutes I'm gonna…"
"Mine D-7 reporting, apologies for the delay." said a voice and on the other end it was Rook on the line, thankfully the hazmat suit helped to disguise his voice.
"Your report was seven hours late." The Hordesman said.
"Yes sir, it was unavoidable we were drilling deep into the caverns when we hit an abstraction." Rook said. "However we now have it under control….how are you?"
Rook froze in shock realising what he had just said and everyone else had panicked looks on their faces. It was official they were rumbled or so it seemed.
"Uh, I'm fine thank you, uh keep up the work next report is due in four hours." The Hordesman said on the radio.
"Understood control over and out." Rook hung up the line and everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
"That was too close." Bow breathed.
Just when they thought they were out of trouble, there was worse to come. A strange sound was heard by the group and they looked out of the tunnel to hear it was getting louder and louder. Then all of a sudden crawling out of the very walls of the mine were more mutated monsters. Each of them were wearing remains of what looked like a Horde Soldiers uniform.
"Oh man not good." Ben said rather spooked.
The creatures roared at the Best Friend Squad then appearing before them was what looked like a mutated bear like creature wearing a torn Hordes uniform. Adora took a good look and could instantly recognise this Horde soldier by the badge he wore.
"Force Captain Grizzlor?" She breathed and received a reply in the form of a roar.
"I'm guessing these were the Horde soldiers manning this place!" Bow panicked.
"Brilliant deduction Sherlock!" Ben said.
The mutants charged at the group all at once. "MOVE!" Rook yelled and the group split up. Adora, Ben and Glimmer jumped to the left whilst Bow and Rook jumped to the right.
The creatures then turned and snarled at Glimmer, Ben and Adora. Glimmer decided to act.
"Alright thats it eat this!" Glimmer readied her energy blasts.
"GLIMMER NO!" Ben shouted but it was too late.
Glimmer tried using her powers but instead of letting loose glittered energy blasts the suit inflated into a ball and catapulted her across the room bounced like a ball into the walls of the mine Bow and Rook ducked out of the way when she bounced across them. She then rammed straight into the monsters knocking them back.
"GET! ME! OFF! THIS! RI…DE!" Glimmer screamed.
She then bounced into another row of monsters knocking them into some of the equipment before the suit deflated. Ben and Adora hurried over to her.
"Glimmer are you okay?" Adora asked worried.
"Uhhhh ask me when my head stops spinning." The princess groaned.
"Yeah should have warned you about that, but if it helps same thing happened to my cousin when she tried to perform a spell in the suit." Ben explained.
The monsters closed in on them but were foiled when Bow and Rook both fired nets from their respective weapons. However more mutants were arriving through the walls.
"Oh man here comes more!" Bow exclaimed. Ben decided it was time to act.
"Okay time we change the gravity of this situation" Ben activated the Omnitrix and selected a certain alien.
"With a little Gravattack!" Ben slammed down the dial and began to change in a field of green and white molecules.
However instead of changing into what he wanted he instead transformed into what looked like Frankensteins monster with patched up beige skin in dark and brighter shades. However he had what looked like high voltage turrents on his shoulders with white coils and wore green bolted metal gauntlets. Wearing blackish green pants with copper boots with green slits and a green and white bolted belt. He had black sideburns going down his face and his teeth were yellowed and uneven. The omnitrix logo was present on the right hand side of his chest with several deep scars around it.
Glimmer and Adora were in surprise as the alien stood with a pose and green lightning shot down from nowhere.
"Frankenstrike?" He questioned. "Eh better than getting Pesky Dust." He shrugged.
"Ben the Corrodium you'll be.."Glimmer tried.
"Glimmer relax I'm still safe from the radiation even in alien form." Frankenstrike explained. "Which is bad news for them!"
The Frankenstein alien then let loose a blast of charged electricity from his gauntlets towards the mutated monsters pushing them back. However the Mutated Grizzlor tackled him to the ground only for Frankenstrike to shock him off.
"You guys handle the miners I got the big fish!" Frankenstrike told the others to which they nodded as he charged at the mutated Force Captain.
Rook used his Proto-Tool shield to block a slash attack from one of the monsters which he counteracted with a roundhouse kick to the ground. Bow fired a trick arrow at two approaching monsters for it to turn into a rope that tied them up causing them to fall to the ground. One was about to attack from behind but Rook blasted it with his Proto-Tool before it could.
"Bow be careful they do not tear your suit, otherwise you will risk radiation exposure." He advised.
"Right." Bow said.
Glimmer and Adora meanwhile were busy defending themselves since Glimmer couldn't use her powers inside her hazmat suit she had to fight with a shovel left in the mine.
She swatted one monster away with the shovel, another was about to attack. Until Adora swooped in swinging her sword swatting it away.
"Adora what are you waiting for turn into She-Ra!" Glimmer exclaimed.
"I can't I don't know if I'll be mutated." Adora said a little afraid if she transforms the suit will either inflate or she'll expose herself to the Corrodium.
Another monster attacked her with a large steel beam from the mine. Adora acted quickly and blocked the beam with her sword then kicked the beast away.
Meanwhile Frankenstrike was having a full on tussle with the mutated Force Captain the two clashed hands trying to over power each other. Frankenstrike then gave a shock of electricity through his gauntlets causing the mutant to be forced back.
The beast roared and charged straight at Frankenstrike and rammed him into a support beam. The impact caused a cave in around that area, collapsing rubble seemed to bury both opponents. Rook looked to what happened.
"BEN!" Rook to everyone else's horror.
However as the smoke cleared it revealed that Frankenstrike was okay. However when he tried to get up he discovered he was trapped under the rubble. Then suddenly the mutated Grizzlor emerged from the rubble and was armed with a sharp piece of metal.
Frankenstrike struggled to get free. "Grr come on come on!" He tried to get his arm free but couldn't and he couldn't even use his powers.
"No!" Adora exclaimed seeing her friend was in trouble she looked to her sword but wasn't sure if she should risk it. But then she remembered she helps her friends no matter the risk.
"I have to help him" she said getting ready to raise the sword.
"Adora no!" Rook warned. "You will be exposed to the Corrodium!"
"I don't care I'm not letting my friend get hurt!" Adora exclaimed firm in her decision.
"FOR THE HONOUR OF GREYSKULL!"
The runestone in the sword glowed bright and enveloped the area in a bright golden light and one epic transformation later she was now She-Ra!
Mutated Grizzlor was about to strike the alien monster down who's eyes widened in shock. However just before he could strike he was met by a glowing fist which struck him right across the jaw and propelled him into a drilling machine with a loud crash.
Frankenstrike looked up to see She-Ra standing above him as she used her strength to lift the rubble away then offered a hand to the downed alien. He took it and stood up and was much taller than She-Ra.
"You okay?" She-Ra asked. "Yeah, but I should be asking you that?" Frankenstrike then said. "How come your not mutating?"
She-Ra looked over herself and he was right she wasn't mutating at all despite being within range of the exposed Corrodium in the rock.
"I guess She-Ra must be immune to the mutation effects like your aliens." She guessed.
Their chat was cut short when Grizzlor emerged from the rubble and let out an ear splitting roar.
"You wanna talk mutations or do you wanna kick some butt?!" Frankenstrike smirked which She-Ra returned with a smirk of her own.
The two then charged forwards at the Force Captain.
Bow Glimmer and Rook stood back to back as they faced the surrounding monsters who were closing in on them like a pack of wild dogs.
"This is not good guys!" Glimmer said. "I'm almost out of arrows, you?" Bow asked.
"My Proto-Tool is low on power." Rook said looking at his weapons power level and it was close to red.
The monsters were still heading towards them and they wondered what they could do. Suddenly Glimmer had an idea a crazy one.
"Guys you may want to give me some room." Glimmer said and she tried to use her powers again.
With that she inflated again and bounced around the room knocking down all the monsters around them bounce after bounce after bounce. Though that still didn't stop Glimmer from screaming. Soon all the mutants were neutralised and her suite deflated.
"Uhhh whoa." Glimmer said standing up a little dizzy.
"Glimmer are you okay that was crazy?!" Bow exclaimed.
"Yeah well sometimes crazy works." Glimmer said.
Rook could only smile at that remark. "Now you are starting to sound like Ben."
Glimmer just smiled back at that compliment. They all turned to see She-Ra and Frankenstrike battling the mutated Grizzlor.
Grizzlor slashed at the two with his bladed claws, She-Ra slid under the mutant which distracted him from the electro charged upper cut from Frankenstrike. The beast struggled backwards then tried to hit Frankenstrike who dodged the attacks leaving She-Ra to hit him from behind with a strike from her sword.
Grizzlor just growled at the two who then looked at each other knowing what to do. With that Frankenstrike charged his gauntlets and punched the ground letting loose a current of electricity towards the mutated Grizzlor shocking him allowing She-Ra to deliver a powerful punch to the face knocking him down to the ground. This rendered him unconscious.
The two heroes looked at their defeated opponents and gave each other fits bumps with their gauntlet and this wasn't over yet the echos of growls could be heard all over the mine tunnels more were coming.
"This is insane they're coming faster than we can stop them!" Bow exclaimed. "The whole mine could be infected.
Rook looked at the definite cause of the problem."Its the Corrodium the radiation must be spreading through the mines structure."
"Ben we need to stop the spread turn into NRG and contain it!" he then said.
Frankenstrike took a moment to think and then had an idea. "I'll do one better." He said slapping the Omnitrix symbol on his chest then changed forms.
He had now taken on the appearance of what looked to be an Egyptian mummy. He bore a headdress on his head in colours of black with glowing green gaps on either side with a gold rimming located at the bottom. He had green eyes with crown like spikes in gold. The lower part of his face was bandaged. He bore a large green and black collar and the shoulder pads had giant green eyes on them. The wrapping tendrils are short and has black and green braces on his arms and legs. He wore a kilt like garment on his waist and the Omnitrix symbol was on his waist on a green and white belt.
"The mummy could withstand the radiation then so can Snare-oh." The alien mummy said as he hurried to the Corrodium.
"Well here goes nothing." Snare-Oh then began unraveling himself from his arms and wrapped it around the Corrodium rock.
The bandages kept wrapping around it until it was completely covered. The light died down and the room returned to its natural glow in the caverns.
"Now for the still coming mutants." She-Ra said and her aura began to glow.
She then took her sword and jammed it into the ground which sent out a golden shockwave through the whole of the complex knocking out all the mutated Horde glow died down and all had gone quiet in the main caverns.
Just then a familiar beeping sounded off and Snare-Oh had reverted to Ben who was now in his casual attire.
"Whew crisis averted." Ben said. "That was not easy." Bow said.
"It never is." Rook said smiling.
"Now what do we do about that?" Glimmer pointed to the now bandaged Corrodium.
"We need to destroy it, and we also need to make sure the Horde can't mine here anymore." She-Ra said.
Ben took a moment to think and then had an idea. "I have an idea to kill two birds with one stone." He smirked but Bow and Glimmer were puzzled what does killing birds have to do with it?
Soon they were all outside the mine She-Ra had reverted to Adora, whilst Ben was still close to the mine ready to carry out his plan. The mutated monsters had all been pulled clear of the mines.
"Okay guys give me some room." Ben said to the group and so everyone took some steps back.
"Just what is he going to do?" Glimmer asked. "When it comes to Bens plans you never can tell." Rook said.
Ben activated the Omnitrix and dialled in a certain alien for this task and then slammed down the dial and everyone was blinded by a bright green flash.
When the flash died down they couldn't believe what they were seeing they looked up to see Ben had changed. He was now a titan sized being with a large red and black fin on his head, two red lines on his neck and blades on his shoulders and waist, black fingerless gloves ,metallic eyes on his cheeks and large red fins on his arms with stripes on his legs. The Omnitrix symbol is located on his chest in the middle of a red circle on his collar.
"Whoa, thats a big alien" Adora breathed.
Way Big looked down on the mine and instantly thrusted his right fist straight into the ground, then pulled it out again. This completely destroyed the mine and the tunnels pulled his hand out then opened it to reveal the wrapped up Corrodium in his palm.
"This calls for a fast ball!" He said and he pulled his arm back ready for a fast ball and tossed the Corrodium into the air.
Way Big then crossed his arms in an Ultraman like way and then let loose his most powerful attack. A green cosmic beam emerged from his arms shooting straight into the air blasting the Corrodium rendering it to nothing but ash.
Bow, Glimmer and Adora looked with wide eyes and dropped jaws they couldn't believe what had just happened or what Ben had just did.
"That was… AMAZING!" Bow exclaimed.
"I know I can be awesome." Way Big said to his friends below.
"How the heck did he do that!" Adora exclaimed.
"That is one of the powers of a To'Kustar, that is Way Bigs race." Rook explained.
"Way Big is right." Glimmer said. "Now lets get back to Bright Moon, but I can't teleport since that last balloon suit stunt has left me running on fumes until I can recharge."
"So we walk." Bow said. Just then Way Big kneeled down to the ground and lowered his hand down near the group.
"I have a better idea, hop on." He said. Bow instantly lit up excited as he and the rest of the group hopped onto the giants hand as he stood back up carrying them.
He then began to walk away from the scene. Adora couldn't help but admire the view from her vantage point and Glimmer couldn't believe they were quite literally in someones hands. Then Bow remembered something.
"Wait what about the Hordesman and the animals that were mutated?" He asked.
"Do not worry, they were not exposed to the mineral long enough for the effects to become permanent." Rook explained. "Thankfully they will wake up with no memory of what happened."
"Yeah and they're going to be in for a big surprise when they do." Way Big chuckled.
Way Big had disappeared into the distance and as Rook said all the Hordesman and their Force Captain had reverted back to their normal forms after the affects wore off.
Force Captain Grizzlor was the first to come around, he looked at himself and saw his clothes were torn, yet he couldn't remember what happened. However he received an rather nasty shock he looked and saw that the mine he was in charge of had been completely looked at the size of the crater and it was almost as if something had just slammed into the ground.
"Oh no, Lord Hordak's not going to like this." He groaned growling.
Bright Moon:
The Evening began to draw into Bright Moon, the events of today were startling, the Best Friend Squad had returned to Bright Moon. Angella and her guards were all but startled by the arrival of the giant To'Kustar but seeing it was Ben her guards stood down. Though they did receive a bit of a scolding for demolishing the mine she was pleased with their efforts. Glimmer had gone the Moonstone to recharge her powers whilst Bow headed to his room. Rook volunteered to go to Plumeria to aid in the repair efforts which the Queen granted him her blessing, whilst Ben teased it was a way for his partner to get to know Perfuma better which Rook did not know what he was talking about.
Ben was in his room writing in a brown leather journal, he had decided to keep a diary of his time in Bright Moon so that he would have stories to tell when he returned to Earth once the Horde was defeated. His jacket was lying on his bed.
He closed the journal after he entered his latest entry. Then he heard his stomach grumble so he left his room to go get a midnight snack from the kitchen. As he wandered the hallways he suddenly noticed Adora looking out from one of the windows in the castle.
Adora stood at the window looking out at the night sky all alone, thinking about a few things.
"Adora?"
"AH!" She gasped as she turned to see Ben standing near her.
"Oh sorry I, I didn't mean to startle you." Ben apologised.
"No no its alright." Adora calming down. "I was just uh well looking out a window." She chuckled.
"Yeah, mind if I join you?" Ben asked. Adora nodded as he joined her near the window.
They spent the next few minutes looking out at the nights sky though there were no stars sparkling in the sky only the many planetary stars surrounding the planet.
"Hey I've been meaning to ask how come theres no stars in the sky?" Ben wondered for the sake of conversation.
"Well if I'm honest I don't really know there haven't been any stars in the sky since as long as I can remember." she replied. "Are there stars where your from?"
"Yeah they decorate the nights sky on a clear night, heck we even use them to navigate on Earth." Ben said. "Some of those stars are actually millions of star systems inhabited by many alien life forms.
"Sounds amazing." Adora said. "Yeah it is the open sky right in front of us." Ben said. "But though travelling through space or even on Earth is cool, it doesn't hurt to have some company."
Adora smiled at that last statement, but then Ben noticed the troubled look on her face like she was bothered by something.
"Hey Adora, do you mind if I ask you something?" He asked.
"Sure what is it?" She asked.
"Well in the meeting when you talked about the Hordes mine, I noticed Queen Angella glaring at you, couldn't help but wonder." He said which did sadden Adora a little.
"Hey if you don't want to talk about it…" "No no its fine I've gotten used to it." Adora said.
"Cause who wouldn't openly welcome a former Horde Soldier after all they've done." Adora explained. "You see, when I first came here Angella told me how the Horde took her husband King Micah, and how she only let me in for Glimmers sake and how I shouldn't disappoint her, since then I've been trying to show her I can help,"
"But you have I mean you've proven yourself loads of times before." Ben said rather surprised.
"I know but sometimes I think they like She-Ra more than me." She admitted.
"Well thats dumb." Ben said much to Adora's surprise.
"Look I know a thing or two about this kind of thing, I mean when I first got the Omnitrix it made me feel special, but when I got back from summer vacation it was like I was back to just being plain old Ben Tennyson again, the kid who's lame at school and easy to pick on." Ben said. "Sometimes I thought people would like me better if they knew I was all those alien heroes they keep seeing on the news."
"But don't they know now?" Adora asked.
"Yeah but let's just say fame has its draw backs, besides drawing the attention of crazy fans and well old enemies wanting to hurt those closest to me." Ben explained. "if I could turn back time I kinda wish I could still have my secret identity."
Adora was rather surprised that Ben was once in a similar situation to her how he thought he was liked for his powers too.
"Well at least you have parents and loved ones." Adora said. Ben was a little confused what was she talking about.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"I've spent nearly my whole life in the Fright Zone, raised alongside Catra." She explained. "But I don't know who I was before that, or if I had any parents." Ben just listened.
"But, I was told who I was before didn't matter who I was before, that, that I was nothing before Hordak took me in." Adora explained. "I always wondered if there was something about me that I didn't know about, but since finding the sword in the woods, I don't know things started feeling familiar some how."
Adora looked at the Sword of Protection to see her reflection in it wondering about her past or who she was before.
"Well whoever told you that was wrong." Ben said. "Who you were before any of this always matters, I mean before I got the watch, who was I just a kid trying to survive middle school, but I always looked back to who I was to remember where I came from."
Adora listened to what Ben had to say. "But if theres one thing I've learned from any of this its not our previous allegiances or even what we were told about the world that matters, its our choices and what we decide to do." Ben said. "You found out what the Horde was really doing and you chose to stand up to them, and you still help these people despite what they think of you." He placed a hand on her shoulder as he continued to speak. "That sounds a lot like a hero She-Ra or not."
"And I can't pretend to know the future but if there are any answers to who you were or your parents we will find out, together." He then said. "But until then you have Glimmer, Bow, Rook even me and I learned that sometimes friends are all the family you'll need."
Adora was truly touched by everything that Ben had just said she was nearly on the verge of tears. Out of nowhere she pulled Ben into a hug, he was rather surprised but never the less returned the gesture as he smiled.
After about a minute they broke from the hug.
"Thanks Ben." Adora thanked. "But why did you tell me this?"
"Probably because I know how it feels."Ben answered. "Being thrown into a situation you never chose to be in, I never asked to get this thing stuck on my wrist." He gestured to the Omnitrix. "It just happened, and up until now no one else but me knows how that feels."
"I think I do."Adora said and they both smiled.
"Oh Adora there you are." The two turned and saw Glimmer walking down the hallway.
"Hey Glimmer." Adora greeted.
"So whats up?" Ben asked.
"Oh well me and Bow were just waiting for Adora so we could start our Sleepover and well we wondered what was taking her so long." Glimmer explained.
"Right sorry, I guess I lost track of time." Adora said.
"Wait you guys have sleepovers?" Ben questioned.
"Yeah." Glimmer said, then she had an idea. "Hey Ben why don't you join us tonight it'll be a while till Rook gets back so you're more than welcome."
"Oh well I don't know, I mean I wouldn't want to intrude." Ben said rather bashfully as he didn't want to intrude on a girls sleep over.
"Come on your part of the Best Friend Squad too you know, and that means invited to sleep overs." Glimmer insisted.
Ben took a moment to think about it and he did feel sleep overs was kids stuff but who was he to deny a request from a princess.
"Okay why not, I'm in." Ben said.
"Great come on lets go." Glimmer said happily.
With that the group headed for Adora's room to start the sleep over of pillow fights and gossip. Ben better be prepared for what he's in for.
However little did they know someone else was close by listening to their conversation. It was Queen Angella, who was on a midnight stroll and had overheard everything that Ben and Adora were talking about. It was clear that the young man had wisdom beyond his years, and at the same time she had taken in what he had said about not letting ones past allegiance define them. Would this change what she thought of the former Horde soldier, who knows.
Authors Notes: And thats a wrap for Chapter four, If everyone remembers Corrodium from the original series it was an element that had a reoccurring use in some episodes and after binge watching the classic episodes for inspiration this idea emerged. Plus it was a very comedic use of the Hazmat suits and I wondered what would happen if Glimmer tries using her powers and much like Gwen the reaction was obvious. I also hope everyone picked up on other hints and references in this chapter. Especially the interactions between Rook and a certain flower princess.
I decided to use a mixture of aliens for this one including Snare-Oh since The Mummy who gathered the Corrodium could withstand the radiation, however I wasn't sure if Corrodium could be destroyed so in this story I decided to have Way Big vaporise it after he threw it into space destroying the Horde mining complex at the same time.
Anyway onto the next chapter and from here on out its canon episodes all the way, there will be another original chapter before the Episode the Beacon but otherwise its the canon episodes. Next the Best Friend Squad, Ben and Rook cross paths with a certain tech happy princess and they learn something new about She-Ra and who knows about something else as well.
