Since I got a favorite for One Bleach I guess I'll continue this fanfic. I know that there are people who are fans of my works so I guess I'll keep going. It'd be a shame if this fanfic was left in the dust.
We can only hope that Rukia and Ichigo live to see another day. It would be pretty depressing if Rukia and Ichigo got round house kicked by Chuck Norris, am I right? Granted, it would be rather goofy but still, I'm pretty sure that it would kill them.
By the way, Chopper is going to join the Straw Hat Pirates soon. However, the circumstances of him joining are going to be slightly different.
Chapter 23: Death Sentence
Hitsugaya wondered where Momo was. He hadn't seen her in a while.
He considered asking Rangiku, but she was currently sleeping...when she was supposed to be on duty.
He was feeling rather troubled.
Considering what had happened to Aizen, he couldn't help but feel worried. What if the killer went after her next? She did happen to be his lieutenant. Perhaps someone had some sort of grudge against Aizen and was trying to take away everything that he held dear.
It wouldn't be too surprising if someone was jealous of him. He was good at...everything really.
Now that he thought of it, he hadn't seen any of the members of the Central 46 in a while either. It was a pretty big disappearance. How were they going to have another trial if they were all gone?
They had assumed the intruders to be responsible, but Hitsugaya thought it was suspicious that the intruders could take on the entire Central 46 all at once. They were both judges AND bailiffs.
Perhaps he should go to the courtroom in order to investigate.
Curious, he smelled smoke.
He investigated it, and discovered Sakura disposing of the Central 46's bodies in a furnace.
Was this the same killer that had killed Aizen?
Although...the killer who had claimed the life of Aizen had made no effort to dispose of the body. Perhaps it wasn't the same one.
Unfortunately, Sakura saw Hitsugaya before he could inform anyone else what he had just witnessed.
She immediately pulled out her scythe.
"Well well well, if it isn't Hitsugaya. Are you looking for your friend?" asked Sakura.
"What have you done to Momo?!" shouted Hitsugaya.
"What are you talking about? I didn't do anything to Momo...it was Aizen that stabbed her." stated Aizen's lieutenant.
"What?!" shouted the captain.
"He's back from the dead! It's a miracle! Unfortunately for you, I'm not so sure that your friend can rise from the grave..." said Sakura.
Hitsugaya could not believe what he was hearing.
"If it makes you feel any better, she died in the arms of her captain." spoke the lieutenant.
"Captain Aizen killed her?" asked the young man.
"To be honest, you might not want to call him captain anymore. You can call him a filthy traitor." noted the woman.
Of course, she was a traitor. What could she say? She thought Sosuke Aizen was hot.
There were actually at least two Arrancar that thought the same way. However, they were probably a bit crazy for Sosuke's liking.
Hitsugaya ran away. He had to warn everyone.
"I guess he's trying to warn everyone. They were bound to find out sooner or later." noted Sakura.
Fortunately, they had a getaway plan. The Hollows would rescue them.
And yes, Sosuke Aizen had made an alliance with Soul Society's sworn enemies.
Just in case, Gin Ichimaru approached Hitsugaya and stabbed him in the back.
"You're...in on this too?" asked Hitsugaya.
"Have you looked at his face? How can you not tell that he's evil?" inquired Sakura.
Hitsugaya noted that perhaps he had made a mistake of trusting Gin.
Meanwhile...
Fortunately for Uryu, Chad eventually managed to break out of his restraints.
He proceeded to attack Mayuri.
It was not a moment too soon. Mayuri had summoned his bankai.
"Is that a baby or a fly?" asked Chad.
"Maybe it's both?" inquired Uryu.
Whatever it was, chances are it were deadly.
After all, it was huge.
The two of them were forced to dodge the poison that came out of its mouth.
However, Chad was able to take down the giant fly baby by punching it.
Mayuri was disappointed. He expected better from it.
Unfortunately, Chad was stabbed by a sword that emerged from the fly baby in the process.
He clutched his arm. It looked as if it was bleeding a bit.
At least he hadn't been eaten by that horrifying mutant. That would be nightmarish.
Uryu shot Mayuri in the chest.
He dissolved into a green liquid.
It seemed that he had decided to retreat.
But at least they were safe.
Fortunately, Chad would be alright.
However, the execution of Rukia and Ichigo was bound to begin soon.
They needed to reunite with the others and fast.
Meanwhile...
"I'm afraid I have bad news, you three." said Yoruichi.
"Why? What's wrong?" asked Luffy.
"The execution is moving ahead of schedule. Apparently, somebody can't wait for Rukia and Ichigo to die." noted the lady. Who exactly would want both of them dead that badly?
Perhaps they had realized that they were trying to stop the execution.
"Oh no..." said Orihime.
"However, I still believe you can take down Byakuya." nodded Yoruichi.
"Good." agreed Nami. It seemed that Byakuya was their biggest threat.
Even if she wasn't ready to face him, she couldn't just sit back and let Rukia and Ichigo be roundhouse kicked by Chuck Norris.
It sounded like a horrible death.
And of course a silly one. Why was he even the executioner?
They needed to head to the execution grounds and fast.
The sooner they arrived, the better.
However, there was still no sign of Uryu and Chad.
Where exactly were they?
Elsewhere...
"How long is this execution going to be?" asked Rukia.
"Yeah! We're sick of waiting!" shouted Ichigo.
To be honest, dying didn't seem that bad anymore.
"We have to wait for Chuck Norris to return..." noted Sui Feng.
"Why the real world celebrity?" asked Byakuya.
Yamamato shrugged. He seemed as good of an executioner as any.
Currently, Chuck Norris was busy exercising.
He couldn't help but shake the feeling that he was forgetting something.
At that very moment, Uryu and Chad arrived on the scene.
They wondered where everyone else was.
Just how long was Uryu's fight with Mayuri, isn't it? It felt like it had lasted forever.
It had taken them some time to reach the execution grounds, but it was surprising how much time had passed since Uryu had started fighting.
Well, it lasted long enough for the execution to begin.
Fortunately, they were discovered. Not by the Shinigami, but their friends.
"There you are!" exclaimed Nami.
They had brought Renji with them.
Fortunately, it seemed that Uryu and Chad were still alive, though compared to everyone else, it had taken them some time for them to reunite.
However, Yamamoto spotted them.
Was these people the intruders they warned about?
It looked as if they had armed themselves.
Yamamoto gasped.
It looked as if the execution was about to get more complicated. At least they weren't here to assassinate him. He thought they might be the ones who had assassinated Aizen at first, but if they had the power to assassinate Aizen so easily, they would have used that power against Byakuya by now.
Now that he thought of it, had Ichigo and Rukia really murdered the Shinigami that had been sent to tail them? They seemed a bit weak for that.
Well, there was no point in letting them stop it.
Yamamoto instructed his loyal Shinigami to attack them.
However, they had already released Rukia and Ichigo.
"That was fast..." remarked Sui Feng.
And to make matters worse, it seemed that not everyone wanted to go along with the execution.
It seemed that Kenpachi had decided to help the intruders.
"Kenpachi, what are you doing?" asked Sui Feng.
"Should we really be executing them? They're not even eighteen!" exclaimed Kenpachi.
"Does it matter?" inquired the female Shinigami.
"I think it does!" nodded Yachiru.
Why were there so many betrayals today?
Sui Feng found herself face to face with Yoruichi.
She recognized her at once.
"Yoruichi? You're behind this?" asked Sui Feng.
"Yes and no." nodded Yoruichi. It was actually Nami's idea to try to rescue Rukia and Ichigo. It looked like as if they just might be able to save them. She still wasn't quite sure whether she could take down Byakuya and survive, but she knew that she would at least try.
"If you're going to fight me, could you at least keep your clothes on?" nodded the woman.
"No promises." answered the shapeshifting lady.
And of course, Nami was fighting Byakuya.
Rukia and Ichigo considered joining in, but being suspended for so long had made them feel fairly weak. Why did the execution have to be so long? They were still asking that.
Likewise, it seemed that Luffy and Orihime were ill-suited to fighting him. His blade could easily cut through Luffy's buttery body and Byakuya was simply too fast for Orihime to keep up, though at the same time, her shields could protect her from his blade attacks.
Nami seemed like the best choice.
He struck Byakuya with lightning, causing him to grimace.
It seemed that she had grown faster.
Well, to be honest, he wanted a greater challenge after last time.
Shunsui and Ukitake were opposing the execution as well.
"Will the betrayals ever end?" asked Yamamoto.
Nearby, someone overheard that.
"They're only beginning..." said Sosuke Aizen.
Meanwhile...
Unfortunately for our heroes, they no longer had the upper hand against the Baroque Works.
So far there were only two of them, but that could change.
Mr. 5 wondered why they were having children fight their battles.
However, these children seemed to be good fighters. One of them was able to shoot arrows that she seemingly conjured out of thin air while the other had power over darkness.
For some strange reason, Mr. 5 found himself with a soccer ball in his crotch.
"I never thought being a soccer player could be so useful..." noted Karin.
"I know, right?" asked Yuzu.
Wait, wasn't a member of their group also a child? At least, she looked like one.
Perhaps he should request her assistance.
He just did that.
"How many do you think there are?" asked Sanji.
"I'm not sure..." answered Zoro. Personally, he wanted more of a challenge.
Unfortunately, it seemed that they had called for help again.
Perhaps they should have done something about that.
Well, it was too late to do that now.
Suddenly, Miss Goldenweek approached him.
For some strange reason, she seemed to be carrying buckets of paint with her.
"A little girl's working for the Baroque Works?" inquired the blonde man.
"Don't be too surprised. We have children on OUR side." answered Zoro.
"True..." nodded Sanji. It was still surprising though.
Miss Goldenweek splashed Zoro with black paint.
"What the-" exclaimed Zoro.
Suddenly, he felt the urge to turn on Sanji.
"There's three of them now..." noted Yuzu.
"Uh, it might be four." answered Karin.
Zoro was acting rather crazy, turning on his comrades.
"What's going on?" asked the girl.
"I don't know, but we should find a way to rub that paint off of him." warned Karin.
Meanwhile, Usopp found himself sinking...in wax.
It seemed yet another Baroque Works agent had arrived on the scene.
Just how many of them were they going to be fighting today?
At this rate, he was going to suffocate.
He could really use some help.
Unfortunately, Zoro and Sanji were fighting each other.
Yuzu was trying to throw a bucket of water on him, but she kept missing.
Was he doomed?
Fortunately, there was still someone that could help.
Karin managed to pull him out.
Mr. 3 retaliated by attacking her.
However, she produced black flames from her hands and melted the wax.
Mr. 3 gasped.
It looked like he was a disadvantage against Karin.
She had to admit, having the ability to manipulate fire was useful. She couldn't exactly produce walls of fire yet, but it was still going to come in handy.
"Maybe you should let ME fight him." suggested Karin. It seemed that she was more well-suited to deal with him.
Usopp nodded.
Meanwhile, Yuzu finally managed to pour water on Zoro.
He returned to his senses.
"What was that for?!" asked Sanji.
"It's not his fault. The girl with the paint caused him to act crazy." explained Yuzu.
Marianne splashed her with green and yellow paint.
"Why don't you help me out?" asked Marianne.
"And betray my friends? Never!" exclaimed Yuzu.
"This girl's good." remarked Miss Goldenweek. Some people were simply too loyal to their friends for the paint to work on them.
Sanji took the buckets and dumped one on Miss Goldenweek's head.
She frowned.
Meanwhile, Karin was melting Mr. 3's wax.
"Oh, what a world..." said Mr. 3.
"I know. I just got here and I'm amazed." stated Karin.
Mr. 3 was confused.
Meanwhile, Usopp shot Mr. 5 with his slingshot.
It looked like he had just found out who the better sniper.
"This isn't going well for us..." noted Miss Valentine.
"I'll say!" nodded Miss Goldenweek, trying to remove the bucket from her head.
Perhaps it would be best if they decided to retreat.
Mr. 3 was currently stop, dropping, and rolling.
"Fun fact: I didn't eat a Devil Fruit." said Karin.
"WHAT?!" exclaimed Mr. 3.
So, the four of them decided to do just that. Three of them anyway. Mr. 5 was unconscious.
"We won?" asked Sanji.
Zoro nodded.
Karin wondered if they should celebrate.
However, Yuzu was starting to feel ill.
Karin noticed a bug bite on her neck.
Perhaps it would be best to see a doctor. She wasn't looking forward to losing another loved one. Losing her mother to that Hollow hamster was bad enough.
"You wouldn't happen to have a doctor, would you?" asked Karin.
"No." answered Sanji.
"You don't have a doctor?" inquired the girl.
"We don't." answered Zoro.
"You really should have one." warned the teenage girl.
Now that Usopp thought of it, why didn't they have a doctor?
It was surprising that it was one of their youngest members of all people that had thought of it.
Where were they find a doctor though? For all they knew a doctor could be anywhere in the ocean.
Perhaps Whiskey Peak would be a good place to look. It wasn't far from where they were and it was civilized. They would have to find a way to get in, but still.
Rumor had it there was a reindeer doctor living there.
Wait...a reindeer doctor?
That was really weird.
Since when were reindeers...doctors?
Perhaos they shouldn't question that. If he could help them, then that was all that mattered...unless his prices were absurd. Lousy extortionists.
Well, it looked like Whiskey Peak was going to be their next trip. Perhaps they would be able to find treasure. Nami would love that...but would she ever come back?
And no, Yuzu and Karin weren't old enough to drink beer.
I hope you liked this chapter...as usual. Of course, if you've been reading this fanfic to this point you clearly enjoy it. I figure maybe I'll focus a bit less on parody for the next chapters.
And yes, I'll be including the Arrancar Arc. They're stronger than Hollows so I guess Shinigami should watch out for them. Still, the Espada are even stronger. I'll be including them as well, eventually.
I decided to have Karin call the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates for not having a doctor because I guess I figured that would be funny.
I figured that maybe she could exploit Mr. 3's weakness since flames of darkness don't seem out of place for a Hollow. Hollows can vary in strength if not versatility though, I will admit. Perhaps Karin will be as strong as a Vasto Lorde one day.
And yes, I'm going to see if I can upload another chapter. And yes, I said yes again. I'll say it as many times as I want. Yes, I will.
