Well, it looks like the execution isn't going as planned. Nami's making sure of that. Meanwhile, Yuzu is going to get medical treatment from a certain reindeer. You probably know who he is. And no, he's not Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer. Though he is a very special one.

As a side note, Orihime is basically an anti-Sakura Haruno...which is kind of ironic considering that Naruto and Bleach are dueling fnadoms. She stays in the kitchen less often in this fanfic than she does in the anime though.

Chapter 24: Aizen's Betrayal

"Well, this execution isn't going the way I hoped." noted Gin Ichimaru. He was hoping for a bloodbath but instead Ichigo and Rukia had been rescued. At least he got to watch Nami and Byakuya fight one another.

However, despite the rescue, Aizen wasn't going to give up that easily.

Nami fought against Byakuya, summoning whirlwinds to blow him away.

However, Byakuya struck her with a blossom petal shower.

She was knocked off her feet.

"Who would have thought that flower petals could be so deadly?" asked Orihime. Personally she liked to smell flowers. After seeing that, maybe she should reconsider.

"I didn't know that either." answered Luffy. Perhaps he should ask a botanist about that.

Byakuya then followed by launching blade fragments at Nami.

Miraculously, she was able to parry them all.

He had to admit, he was rather impressed.

It was a shame that they had to be enemies. He wouldn't mind selecting her as his lieutenant.

Then again, perhaps he needed to pick his lieutenants more carefully. His last lieutenant had decided to backstab him to save Rukia.

Meanwhile, Yoruichi was fighting against Sui Feng.

She was rather impressed with the shape-shifting woman's strength.

"Why do you have to be naked in front of everyone, anyway?" asked Sui Feng.

Of course, she of all people knew at some level how strong she was.

Sui Feng attempted to sting Yoruichi, but she was too fast.

Why did she have to be so powerful?

She decided to create copies of herself.

Perhaps she could win if she outnumbered her opponent.

Yoruichi seemed to be having a hard time telling which one was real.

"Hmm, which one..." noted Yoruichi.

Unfortunately, all of the clones moved along with Sui Feng.

"Just how many clones are there?" asked the lady. It was hard to count while she was being attacked.

Meanwhile, Nami activated her shikai.

Her blade now had a golden glow to it.

Luffy noted it seemed appropriate considering Nami's greed. At least she hadn't sold them out to the Marines for money. Perhaps she wasn't as greedy as she could potentially be.

Byakuya was having a harder time fighting Nami now.

Just how exactly did she get so much stronger in such a short period of time? It had only been two days since their last battle.

To be honest, not even he had picked up skills that fast.

Perhaps there was something special about Nami.

She shot a golden beam at Byakuya, injuring him.

Becoming desperate, Byakuya decided to use his abilities to their fullest extent.

Two giant blades emerged from the ground.

Nami gasped.

Just barely, she was able to hold them off.

"I'm not sure how I managed to pull that off..." noted Nami.

Perhaps she was lucky.

Or perhaps she had learned from Yoruichi extremely quickly. She probably wasn't at her level, but still.

However, she was stabbed by Byakuya.

"You could have saved yourself by not coming here." said Byakuya.

Unfortunately for him, Nami seized her opportunity to electrocute her opponent.

Byakuya screamed and collapsed on the floor.

Nearby, Sui Feng collapsed as well, after receiving a punch from Yoruichi.

"Why does she have to be so strong?" asked Sui Feng.

She wasn't quite as strong as Yamamoto, but still.

Fortunately, Orihime was able to heal Nami.

"Thanks." said Nami.

Now it seemed that there was nothing stopping them from leaving Soul Society.

They would probably make an attempt to hunt them down, of course...but she would cross that bridge when she came to it.

However, it seemed that their luck was about to run out.

Suddenly, Aizen made his presence known, and he grabbed Rukia.

The others gasped.

"Wasn't he...dead?" questioned Uryu.

Given that he was a Shinigami, he wasn't too sorry to see him go.

"Hello, Rukia." said Sosuke Aizen.

"Sosuke Aizen? You're alive?" asked Rukia.

It was as if he had somehow returned from the dead.

Had...Mayuri Kurotsuchi been practicing necromancy?

She wouldn't put it past him.

"Yes...and unfortunately, you are too." answered Aizen.

"What?!" shouted the teenage girl.

"You see, I deliberately staged this execution so that I could obtain your Hogyoku...but unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. Apparently, not everyone wanted you dead." stated the man.

"If you only needed me, why'd you try to execute Ichigo as well?" asked Rukia.

"I didn't. Gin Ichimaru simply thought a double execution would be more entertaining." explained Sosuke.

"Figures." answered the teenage girl.

"No matter. I can still obtain the Hogyoku. I just need to alter my plans slightly." said the man.

It was unfortunate that he had to revealed that he was still alive, as he had just committed mass murder. Soul Society wouldn't rest until they figured out who had murdered the Central 46.

If they found out he was responsible, chances are HE would be the one that would be executed.

Quickly, he extracted the Hogyoku from Rukia.

Surprisingly, she was still alive.

"I'm not sure how you survived that. No matter, I can't leave any witnesses..." said Sosuke Aizen. The later that Soul Society found out of his betrayal, the better off he would be.

Sosuke Aizen prepared to finish off Rukia.

Unfortunately, there wasn't anything that their friends could do.

But at that very moment, something unexpected happened.

Suddenly, Rukia vanished.

"Where'd she go?" asked Gin Ichimaru.

He was a bit disappointed. He was hoping to see some blood be spilled...but perhaps he would have to wait a bit longer.

Luffy noted that Nami had disappeared as well. Was it a coincidence?

"As long as she isn't going to tell anyone about my betrayal, it doesn't matter." answered Sosuke Aizen. Apparently he didn't need to lift a finger to dispose of her...which was pretty convenient.

Now that Rukia was out of the way and he had what he wanted, he decided he would kill the people that had tried to rescue her along with Ichigo. Gin Ichimaru would deal with Ichigo personally since he was enthusiastic about his execution.

Unfortunately, at that very moment, Yamamoto approached him.

Sosuke was surprised at the occurrence.

Judging from the unhappy look he was giving him, he had found out about the betrayal.

"This can't be good." remarked Sakura.

"Sosuke, I thought you were loyal to Soul Society! And yet, you nearly murdered your own lieutenant!" exclaimed Yamamoto.

Unfortunately, it seemed that Momo had survived...though she had a hard time believing that her captain had betrayed her herself.

Sakura, Gin, Aizen, and Tosen found themselves surrounded by Shinigami.

"You're totally obsessed with Aizen! Find a new love interest!" demanded Nanao.

"Never!" answered Sakura.

"I always knew you were a snake..." stated Rangiku.

"About that..." answered Gin.

"Are you blind to Aizen's evil?" inquired Sajin.

"Are you saying that because I'm blind?" asked Tosen.

"No. Maybe that was a poor choice of words. But you shouldn't trust Aizen." answered the fox man.

Fortunately for the four of them, they were rescued in the nick of time.

Aizen smirked. It looked as if he would make a getaway. He was planning to do sooner or later, but the Hollows had showed up just when he needed them the most.

Everyone was surprised at the occurrence. It looked as if Aizen and his cohorts were being abducted by aliens. However, Hollows weren't alien to the Shinigami, even if they didn't know everything about them.

Arrancars were a bit more foreign to them though. They found it strange that Hollows could take on a human form like themselves, though there were still ways to tell an Arrancar apart from a Shinigami.

"Why did we make an alliance with the Hollows again?" asked Sakura. She wasn't sure why Aizen would want to work with soul eaters.

Some of the Arrancar were sexy though. Just look at Ulquiorra!

"I figured instead of destroying Hueco Mundo like the Shinigami would want, I figured I would conquer it instead." explained Aizen.

Sakura shrugged.

Unfortunately, there was nothing that they could do to stop Aizen from escaping.

Chances are he was going to Hueco Mundo.

Apparently, the only thing that they could now was prepare for his inevitable attack on Soul Society.

Meanwhile...

Our heroes managed to arrive on Drum Island.

After some difficulty, they managed to reach the doctor.

They were surprised to hear that the doctor was a reindeer. His nose wasn't glowing and he didn't fly, but he was still remarkable.

However, his prices were reasonable, so they decided not to dwell on it.

"Who needs medicine?" asked Chopper.

Karin pointed to her sister.

She was burning up.

"Looks serious. Alright then." answered the reindeer.

Fortunately, Chopper was able to cure Yuzu.

She was very happy.

The young girl sighed in relief.

"Now then...about our payment." said Chopper.

"Well, I do owe you a life debt." noted Yuzu. She might not have made it if it weren't for Chopper.

Sanji hoped that Nami would forgive them. To be fair, she did seem to care about them more than she did money.

They paid Chopper his fee.

"Thanks...let me know if you need my help again." said Chopper.

Now that he thought of it, perhaps the heroes could help him.

Drum Island was being oppressed by a gang of pirates.

If they defeated him, chances are he just might join their crew.

He would be grateful, after all.

Suddenly, Yuzu and Karin disappeared.

"Huh?" asked Chopper.

"Somebody must have flipped the coin." noted Sanji.

He wondered who it was this time.

That person was a marine.

Yuzu and Karin found themselves back home.

"There you are! Do you have any idea how worried I was?" asked their father.

"We're sorry, father!" apologized Yuzu.

She had to admit, she was surprised that she had arrived back home so suddenly. She really wasn't expecting that. It was good to be back home though.

"Where were you?" inquired their loving father.

"On an adventure on the high seas..." answered Karin.

It had certainly been exciting.

"Well, your dinner is cold. I hope you're happy."

Karin and Yuzu shrugged.

Meanwhile, Rukia found herself in the world of One Piece.

She wondered where she was.

Was this where Luffy was from?

There seemed to be a lot of sea water.

Rukia noted that she had dodged a bullet.

Perhaps she would live to see another day.

No execution for her.

Although, Sosuke Aizen being a traitor unnerved her.

He seemed to have lots of plans. Bad ones.

But at least she she didn't have to worry about Soul Society executing her. They couldn't reach her even if they never found out about Sosuke Aizen's plans.

Perhaps she was extremely lucky...which was kind of ironic considering she liked rabbits.

Well, she might as well introduce herself to the pirates on the ship with her. Ichigo happened to have met them.

Meanwhile...

"That sure was eventful, wasn't it?" asked Orihime.

Luffy nodded.

"Well, we're lucky to be alive. But even if we saved Rukia, I'm not so sure we should celebrate. Sosuke Aizen manipulated everyone and now he's plotting some sort of revolution..." noted Orihime.

"I wonder how he got the Hollows to follow him..." questioned Luffy. Last time he checked, Hollows and Shinigami were enemies. They were also enemies with Quincies, but perhaps Sosuke Aizen hated Quincies and not Hollows.

"I'm not sure. But considering that Hollows eat each other sometimes, maybe it's survival of the fittest at their home world. Perhaps he took down whoever was in charge and took their place as leader." suggested Orihime.

"Yeah, probably..." nodded Luffy.

"You want to test out more of my cooking?" asked the teenage girl.

"You bet!" exclaimed the pirate.

Orihime smirked. For once she had someone that was willing to give her food a test run.

Perhaps Luffy would choose to stay in her world.

Then again, he liked to sail the seven seas in his world. At least, that was a rough estimate. Luffy's world had more water than hers. Or perhaps there were less seas in Luffy's world than hers?

Meanwhile, Ichigo was reunited with his two sisters.

They gave him a big hug.

Likewise, his father was happy to see him as well.

"Where have you been?" asked Isshin.

Ichigo sighed.

"I almost got executed..." said the teenage boy.

"What?!" shouted the man.

Yuzu and Karin gasped in shock.

"Seems that there's a snag with Soul Society's legal system..." noted Ichigo.

Isshin Kurosaki sighed. Was Central 46 a kangaroo court?

"Wait...if you were sentenced to execution, why are you still alive? I'm very much grateful, but still." answered Isshin.

"I got rescued." answered Ichigo.

Yuzu and Karin sighed in relief.

Meanwhile...

"So let me get this straight...you recruited a doctor...whose a reindeer?" asked Nami.

"Pretty much." answered Sanji.

"We needed a doctor." stated Zoro.

That, and he decided to join the crew as an alternative for them paying him money. He figured a lifetime of adventure was more than enough payment.

"I'll say! How many times have you been injured in a battle?" inquired the greedy girl.

Zoro had lost count.

"Well, hopefully now we'll have someone to treat you when that inevitably happens again." noted Nami.

Rukia looked around.

"Is this a new teammate of ours?" asked the orange-haired girl.

"I guess." answered Rukia.

"Well, welcome to the team..." noted Nami.

"If she really wants to be part of the team, why not get a bounty on her head?" asked Zoro.

"Hmm?" inquired Rukia.

"Every one of us has a bounty on their head. Even Chopper." noted Sanji.

"Even the reindeer?" asked the teenage Shinigami.

"l accidentally gave some marines the wrong medicine..." explained Chopper. Ever since then, they had wanted revenge.

"Be more careful next time." answered Rukia. At least he hadn't deliberately tried to poison them. That would have been evil.

At that very moment, a marine ship came by.

"Aah!" exclaimed Chopper.

Chopper immediately fled to the lower decks.

"Excuse us, we happen to be looking for a rabbit. Have you seen him?" asked one of the marines.

Rukia discovered that the rabbit was right next to her leg.

"Now how did that get there?" asked Rukia.

Well, she decided not to dwell on it. She loved rabbits!

Curious, she noticed that the rabbit seemed scared of something.

She wondered why.

"Er, what are you planning to do with the rabbit?" asked Rukia.

"We're going to use him to make stew..." explained the marine.

"What?!" shouted the teenage girl.

"So, do you have him?" asked the man.

"No way! Cooking rabbits is barbaric!" exclaimed Rukia.

"Refusing the request of a marine? We're putting a bounty on your head worth 50 beris!" shouted the marine.

"That was fast." noted Rukia.

The marines boarded the ship so that they could grab the rabbit.

However, Rukia attacked them with her sword.

Fortunately, it seemed she could summon her blade once again.

"Attacking marines? We're increasing your bounty to 250 beris!" shouted the marine.

"How is it increasing so fast?" questioned Zoro.

Sanji shrugged.

Rukia slashed a marine officer.

"Assaulting a marine officer? Make that 1000 beris!" exclaimed the sailor.

Eventually, the marines decided to retreat.

The bunny chattered.

"You think I should sink the ship? If you say so..." answered Rukia.

The rabbit assured her that the officer was a bad man...though he wasn't sure about the marines under his command.

Rukia summoned an iceberg and the ship crashed into it.

It began to sink.

"We're increasing your bounty to 10000 beris!" bellowed the marines.

"It just keeps higher and higher..." noted Rukia.

At least she probably didn't have to worry about an impending execution, even if she was a criminal once again.

"A word of advice...you need to be careful. Rumor has it that the marines send pirates with especially high bounties to Impel Down." warned Chopper.

"Impel Down?" asked Rukia.

"It gives pirates nightmares...especially those that are risk of going to Level 6..." noted Zoro.

"I would never want to go there..." remarked Sanji.

"Sounds bad..." noted Rukia. Perhaps an execution would be preferable to going there.

Since she was now a pirate, Nami allowed her access to her wardrobe so she could dress like a pirate.

Unsurprisingly, she chose to dress in black.

She wore a black bandana and a black vest.

"How do I look?" asked Rukia.

"Good..." nodded Sanji. Though he preferred sexy girls to cute ones like Rukia.

"Now that you're dressed for an occasion...would you all mind helping me with something? I have a score to settle with Arlong..." said Nami.

"Arlong? There are awful stories about him..." noted Sanji.

"Due to how strong I've become lately, I figured I could take him personally. But since he likely has his companions with him, I figured I could use some help." answered the teenage girl.

Rukia nodded, though it would probably be different from fighting Hollows back when she was still working for Soul Society.

The crew touched each other's hands in agreement...or hoof in the case of Chopper.

However, he remembered something.

"Could we deal with the pirates that are invading Drum Island first? They're causing a lot of trouble..." answered Chopper.

Nami sighed. It looked as if she would be making a detour.

"Fine..." answered Nami. Her revenge would come later.

It looks like Yuzu won't die after all. At least she'd be reunited with her mother. I figured I would give Masaki Kurosaki an afterlife because she's so sweet and lovable. Well, not completely sweet and lovable. She has no sense of modesty. At least Yuzu and Karin are modest. Just as Ichigo isn't lecherous. Maybe Isshin can have the same afterlife even though he's a Shinigami and she's a Quincy. But Ichigo is basically both a Shinigami and a Quincy. What afterlife will he end up in?

I hope you don't act like Aizen. He betrays everyone.
