Michael told Jazz what happened in heaven and how she was sent to live here for a few months. Jazz was surprised to see that the archangel of God wanted to live on Earth for a few months. Not to mention, Michael wanted to learn more about her brother and herself. Truthfully, she wanted to know more about Michael too.
"So you had no idea that your brother is dating Azazel?" Michael asked.
"They never said anything about it." Jazz told her.
Michael nods, understanding why they didn't. There have been a few angels that tried not to show themselves falling in love, but she has seen them. Love was not something that could be controlled as long as they understand the boundaries of love.
"So, what do you plan on doing while you're here?" Jazz asked.
"First, I wanted to redeem myself with Azazel. I made a mistake and learned that I needed to listen a bit more. Father gave me a chance and I'm not going to waste it." She said.
Jazz nods, understanding her reason. However, Jazz couldn't stop looking at her since she was here. She always saw Michael in some kind of military suit, but now she was dressed in a white shirt, plain jeans, and even wore normal shoes. She also no long had her hat on, showing her black hair that cover her right eye. It made her look, cute.
'Wait, what am I thinking?! She's an angel! She's way above me!' Jazz thought, surprised.
Michael sighs before looking at Jazz. Since the girl was looking away, Michael didn't know she was starting to stare. She quickly caught herself before Jazz could notice.
'Again. I find myself noticing even thinking about her. Why?! She's a human, that's able to see Angels and no one knows why. What is it about her and her brother that made them special?' She thought.
The two girls just sat there, trying to get their minds in order. Either of them notices that their hands started sliding towards each, touching before they both flinched.
"Sorry!" They said, blushing.
Later,
Azazel returned home after a wonderful date with Danny. They just ended up doing what they always did and just hang out. That way no one would have guessed they were dating. Azazel smiles before touching the door. Suddenly, a new memory of her human life appeared telling her about an older sister she had.
'Wait! It's...' She thought, opening the door.
Sure enough, she saw Michael stilling with her parents, shocked on seeing her.
'What's she doing here?! She's not going to take me away from Danny, is she?!' Azazel thought.
"Hey, Little Angel. Looks who's here." Michael said, confusing her more.
"Michaelle! Welcome home." Azazel said, trying not to sound suspicious.
"Can you believe, Alice!? Michaelle finally came home." Christy said, hugging her oldest daughter.
"Mom, I'm not 10 anymore," Michael said, feeling her face against her arms.
"And she heard all about your new boyfriend. I hope he's treating you well." Edward said.
"Dad! Danny has been treating me well. Even before we started dating! And if you so much threatened him..." Azazel said before her father laughs.
"Relax, I'm not going to do anything to him." He said, but no one believed him.
"I'm locking the protector way," Christy said, getting up.
"Honey! I'm not going to use that!" Eward said.
"And you would why Michaelle is still single?!" Christy said, walking away.
"I'm not!" He said, walking after his wife.
The two angels waited before they faced each other.
"Before we stay, I have something to say," Azazel said, glaring at her.
"Proceed," Michael said.
"I tried to tell you many times about my report, and you ignored me! I did something right, and you yelled at me! I tried to be a good angel, but you never treated me like one! I was a failure in your eyes! I didn't matter! Since living on Earth, I'm treated like a person I am. I made friends. I'm dealing with my problems without SOMEONE yelling at me all the time!" Azazel said, glaring.
"Danny has treated me like a person and has been really nice to me. And yes, I'm dating him. We're taking it slow and enjoying our time. I'm even helping him save his town from dangerous Ghosts!" She added.
"I know," Michael said, surprising her.
"You...know?" Azazel asked.
"We kept watch over you after I kicked you out. We know that you got your wings. We know that you're in love with the boy. We know that you're keeping the town safe. For that, I'm happy for you, Azazel." Michael said.
Azazel looks at her, stunned. Michael then stood up and place her hand near her forehead before using her other hand to draw a cross on her body. Azazel took a step back. That was the honor of an Archangel. She had Archangel Michael's honor!
"I came to earth for two reasons. First, I wish to say, I'm sorry." Michael said, sitting down.
"Sorry?" Azazel asked.
"You were right, I was being too hard on you. Instead of listening and supporting you, I ignored and treated you like a low angel. I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry Azazel." Michael said.
Azazel sat down. She never thought she'll hear those words from Archangel Michael.
"I don't expect you to accept it now. I know it does make centuries of mistreatment fade away. All I ask is for a second chance." Michael said.
Azazel sighs. She was right, one apology does not make all those centuries fade away. But she could tell that Michael did regret her actions and wants to start over. She was unsure how long it would take, but she wasn't heartless.
"Michael, I still hate you for how you treated me, but if there's one thing Daniel taught me, is that sometimes it's important to give someone another chance. He the best thing that happened to me and I don't want to ruin everything he taught me. Father was right, sometimes, Humans can surprise you." Azazel said, placing her hand on Michael's.
"Just know that I'm only giving you one chance to make up for what you did. Don't blow it." She said.
"Thank you," Michael said, surprising Azazel with tears in her eyes.
"What is this?" Michael asked, rubbing her cheek.
"Tears. Humans shear them when they're very sad or very happy." Azazel said, knowing a lot more about humans than Michael.
"Hey, what's your second reason?" She asked, remembering that Michael had two reasons for being on Earth.
"Oh, right. It turns out that Daniel isn't the only person that can see Angels, his sister Jasmine can too." Michael said.
"Really?! Does that mean she knows..." Azazel started.
"She knows about me since I visited her a few times. I told her about you, but she agreed to keep it to herself." Michael said, thinking it was better to keep that Jazz knew Danny's secret to herself.
'She said, she wanted him to tell her when he's ready and that it's his secret. I'm not going to ruin that.' She thought.
"Okay. I still haven't told the others the truth about me. I don't think I'm ready for that." Azazel said.
"Very well. We'll leave you to tell them on your own." Michael said.
Azazel nods in thanks. Through, she wondered why Michael was blushing when she mention Jazz.
This is a little short, this time. So as some of you can see, there are feelings between Jazz and Michael, but they both don't know what those are. Also, I'm making both Jazz and Michael bisexual in this AU. But it will be mostly these two paired up. Since Michael has three months on Earth, I'll cover them from time to time.
I'm thinking about my next Danny Phantom episode rewrite. I'm thinking of doing Shades of Grey next. While not too different, I'm thinking over how Azazel is going to react in Valeire's ghost-hunting life. Ideas are welcome.
