It's a sunny dad in Florida, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne are walking down the street. "So you wanna hang out maybe catch a movie?" Ronnie Anne asked.

"Sorry Ronnie Anne but I'm hanging out with my soon to be stepsisters at the beach house. Luna is planning on showing me her guitar," Lincoln said.

"She sounds like a super cool rockstar. Your stepsisters sound awesome." Ronnie Anne said.

"Well, not all of them have accepted into their family." Lincoln admitted.

"Really who else?" Ronnie Anne asked.

"Lynn and Lola." Lincoln replied. "Lynn calls me a weak stupid boy and Lola thinks I'm ugly for a boy."

"That's an odd way of showing it." Ronnie Anne said.

"It's complicated. You wouldn't really understand if I told you." Lincoln said.

"If you say so. Anyway, I might as well just hang out with my mom at home." Ronnie Anne said.

"That's okay with me." Lincoln said before he felt a wet drop on his head. "Huh? Was that a rain drop?"

"Wait did you say rain? I thought it was gonna be sunny?"Ronnie Anne questioned.

"You know how unpredictable the weather can be." Lincoln said.

Just then, it started to rain a lot more and this made Ronnie Anne very nervous. "Oh no! Not good!" Ronnie Anne said in a panic.

"You okay Ronnie Anne? Are you afraid to get your hoodie wet?" Lincoln asked confused.

"I need to hide." Ronnie Anne said as she ran off.

"Wait! Come back!" Lincoln called out as he chased after her.

Ronnie Anne jumped behind a pair of bushes. "Dang it." Ronnie Anne groaned.

"Ronnie Anne, what's wrong?! Why are you so afraid of some rain?!" Lincoln asked in concern as he shoved the bushes away.

"Don't look!" Ronnie Anne cried out. But Lincoln gasped in shock. Ronnie Anne has changed her legs have been replaced with a a dark purple tail and she's a wearing a purple top instead of a hoodie.

"Uh… surprise." Ronnie Anne said with a nervous grin.

"You're a mermaid?!" Lincoln asked in shock.

"Not so loud!" Ronnie Anne shushed, "I'll explain everything. Just get me out of here, somewhere dry would be nice."

"Okay. Do Clyde and Sid know about this?" Lincoln asked.

"Not at all." Ronnie Anne said.

"Good." Lincoln said before dragging Ronnie Anne to a dry place.

The two of them quickly found an alleyway for them to take shelter in and Lincoln sat Ronnie Anne against the wall.

"So how are you a mermaid? Did you fall into a pool in a cave under a full moon? Cursed by a witch, or one of your parents were merfolk?" Lincoln asked while panting.

"Both my parents are merfolk, actually." Ronnie Anne said as he tail turned back into her feet. "My dad's the king of one of the many undersea kingdoms and he lives there with my big brother and the rest of my extended family. It's just me and my mom on the surface, here."

"I thought your extended family lived with you guys?" Lincoln asked.

"That was a little white lie. Sorry." Ronnie Anne replied.

"So if your dad's a king, does that make you a princess?" Lincoln asked.

"Yes. Well I was." Ronnie Anne replied.

"Let me guess someone overthrew your king as ruler?" Lincoln asked.

"No, it's just that my mom quit being the queen after she and my dad divorced and she took me under her care. That kinda ended up destroying my princess title." Ronnie Anne said.

"Man, that must suck." Lincoln admitted.

"Not really. I hated being a princess with all the rules and learning how to be proper." Ronnie Anne replied. "Plus, I got the chance to meet you, Clyde and Sid when I moved to the surface."

"Yeah I'm thankful for that." Lincoln said, you were pretty cool. So how long have you've been on the surface?"

"Since I was five or six." Ronnie Anne replied.

"That long, huh? I guess it must be hard to be away from the rest of your family." Lincoln said.

"It's okay. Mom and I occasionally go there to visit them." Ronnie Anne said.

"Wow really. Does it feel weird returning to your kingdom as a peasant? No offense." Lincoln asked.

"Hey, I'm still treated greatly." Ronnie Anne said. "My family tends to go a little overboard when I go for visits, though."

"I bet they do. So, your extended family includes your grandparents?" Lincoln questioned.

"Yeah. And my aunt and uncle, and their four kids." Ronnie Anne answered. "It's crazy."

"Not as crazy as my stepfamily." Lincoln replied.

"How crazy is your stepfamily?" Ronnie Anne asked.

"Well, my stepmom's the queen of Atlantis and my stepsisters are her mermaids." Lincoln explained.

"Your stepmom is Queen Rita?!" Ronnie Anne exclaimed.

"She sure is." Lincoln answered.

"And your step sisters are the nine princesses." Ronnie Anne replied.

"They are. Lynn and Lola hate me cause I'm a human." Lincoln said.

"I should've guessed that." Ronnie Anne admitted. "My cousin, Carl, hates humans as well."

"Go figure." Lincoln said.

"Wait how are you able to breathe underwater?" Ronnie Anne asked with concern in her voice.

"They give me this potion that allows me to breathe underwater and prevent me from pruning. But it tastes awful." Lincoln said.

"I bet it does." Ronnie Anne said with a chuckle. "Also, I once overheard my dad suggesting an arranged engagement to one of Queen Rita's daughters."

"Really? Which one?" Lincoln asked.

"I think it was the oldest one, Lori." Ronnie Anne said.

"You know, I'd like to meet your family. Maybe you and your mom could take me to your kingdom, today?" Lincoln suggested.

"You sure Lincoln?" Ronnie Anne asked. "It's pretty far."

"Hey, Atlantis is pretty far and I still managed to get there." Lincoln said.

"Well, okay. I guess it couldn't hurt." Ronnie Anne replied with a smile. "I'll message my mom to meet us at the beach."

"On what your shellphone?" Lincoln snickered while Ronnie Anne gave him a deadpan look.

"That was a garbage pun." Ronnie Anne said.

"True." Lincoln muttered in agreement.

Later…

Once Ronnie Anne was dried off the two walked down to the beach, walked down to the pier where Ronnie Anne's mom was waiting for them. "Hello Lincoln," Maria greeted. "I always figured Ronalda would reveal her secret to you. But I figured she would have down that when she was older."

"Hey, these kinds of things happen." Lincoln said. "Your secret is safe with me, Mrs Santiago."

"That's all I needed to hear." Maria smiled.

"So, do you have any of that potion stuff on you Lincoln?" Ronnie Anne asked.

"Yeah, Rita let me have a small vial of the stuff." Lincoln said before he pulled out a small vial of the green potion.

Lincoln drank the potion and gagged a bit. "Still not use to it?" Maria asked.

"Still trying." Lincoln relied.

"Alright, are you ready?" Ronnie Anne asked.

"I sure am." Lincoln answered.

"Ok are you wearing swimming trunks?" Maria asked.

"Yeah I am." Lincoln said.

He took off his shirt and pants to reveal his trunks underneath.

"Good. Now we can go." Maria said.

The three drove into the water as Ronnie Anne turned into her mermaid form. Maria turned into her mermaid form which is a pink tail and a pink seashell bra.

"Do you two think your family will be okay with me visiting their kingdom?" Lincoln asked in concern.

"Most of them will. We'll make sure to stay on your side." Ronnie Anne replied.

"Yes. And well my nephew will be a problem because of his hatred of humans." Maria said.

"I know. Ronnie Anne told me." Lincoln said. "So, does this mean your family members sometimes come to the surface for visits?"

"They do. My oldest cousin, Carlota, is super obsessed with all the human cloths in the store." Ronnie Anne explained. "Not to mention my Uncle Carlos likes reading their books."

"My sister in law Frida is into art and even goes to the surface to get some inspiration from museums and art shows." Maria stated.

"Wow. I might not have ever met them, but they already sound interesting." Lincoln said.

"Yeah, even though I've lied to you about our whole family being mermaids." Ronnie Anne admitted.

"I did the same with my step family." Lincoln said. "So I guess we're even."

"True." Ronnie Anne agreed with a chuckle. "Alright, shall we get going to my kingdom?"

"Definitely." Lincoln said before all three of them swam off.

A/N: I like to thank Rodimus973 for the idea and helping me out for this chapter. Yeah Ronnie Anne and her family are merfolk. We'll meet them in the next chapter. Please read and review.
