Lincoln, Ronnie Anne and Maria are swimming to Aztutic. "So how much longer?" Lincoln asked.
"Not long now. Sorry if it's been a long swim for you." Ronnie Anne said. "Our kingdom's a little further from Atlantis."
"Well I thought it would be somewhat closer to the states." Lincoln replied.
"Well our kingdom is near Peru and Mexico." Maria replied.
"I guess that makes sense. You two are Hispanic." Lincoln said.
"True." Ronnie Anne chuckled.
"Lincoln you should know this about or Kingdom. It's more inspired by Aztec and Mayan architect." Maria said.
"That sounds nice." Lincoln replied. "So, you guys are like an ancient Mexican tribe of merfolk?"
"You might say that." Ronnie Anne said.
"It could be." said Maria. "Also Carl is not a fan of humans."
"I know about Carl's hatred of humans. I have two future stepsisters who hate humans." Lincoln said.
"Just to give you a heads up, Carl can sometimes plot behind our backs when he wants something done his way." Ronnie Anne warned.
"I'll keep that in mind." Lincoln replied.
"Well, here we are." Maria said as they stopped swimming.
Lincoln takes one look at the kingdom of Aztutic and stared in amazement. It was a kingdom inspired by aztec and Mayan buildings. But he noticed a giant palace with a Mayan pyramid next to it.
"Holy carp." Lincoln said.
"Do you like what you see?" Ronnie Anne asked with a smile.
"Yeah it's amazing." Lincoln said.
"Well then you're going to like the palace when we get inside." Maria replied.
They swam towards the palace, from the entrance Lincoln looked around and saw Mayan murals o the wall, but he looks ahead and sees a merman with tan skin, black hair with a beard, a dark blue tail, wearing a large necklace around his neck, he's wearing a golden crown shaped like a snake's head with red feather like leaves on the back.
"Hey dad." Ronnie Anne greeted.
"Arturo." Maria greeted simply.
"Maria, Ronalda." Arturo greeted but he turned his attention towards Lincoln. "So you must be this Lincoln kid Queen Rita has mentioned."
"Yeah, that's me." Lincoln said. "Pleasure to meet you, your majesty."
"I welcome you to my kingdom with open arms," Arturo said. "I heard a lot about Ronalda's friends on the surface. Especially that Sid girl."
"Yeah, I bet she did." Lincoln said as he gave Ronnie Anne a smile.
"So, is it okay if Lincoln hangs out with us while we're visiting?" Ronnie Anne asked.
"It is fine sweetie." Arturo replied. "However he must remain by your side by all costs."
"I'll make sure of that, dad." Ronnie Anne assured.
"Why don't you go and introduce him to the rest of the family?" Arturo asked. "Just make sure that Carl doesn't try to kill your friend."
"I'll make sure of it dad." Ronnie Anne said as she and Lincoln both swam out of the throne room.
"So, has Rita's oldest daughter agreed to marry Roberto yet?" Maria asked.
"She hasn't given her answer yet." Arturo said. "Rita has told me that she's too busy planning her own wedding."
"Roberto really took a liking towards Lori." Maria said.
"If you and Ronalda were still around, she would have been married to another prince." Arturo siad.
"I have a feeling she's found her own prince on the surface." Maria admitted.
Lincoln and Ronnie Anne swam through the palace until they arrived at a coral door.
"The rest of my family is in here." Ronnie Anne said.
"Well, I hope they won't be as overwhelming as my stepfamily." Lincoln replied.
"You're gonna be very disappointed, Lame-O." Ronnie Anne said before knocking on the door.
"Who is it?" A female voice asked from behind the door.
"It's me cous." Ronnie Anne replied.
"Ronnie Anne? It's so good to have you here, again." The female voice said happily before the door opened.
It was a teenage mermaid with tan skin, black hair in a ponytail she has a sea green tail with a sea green tank top. "Hey Carlota." said Ronnie Anne as two came in for a hug.
"It's been along time since you've been in the palace," Said Carlota.
"Yeah, I've just been catching up with my surface friends." Ronnie Anne said before turning to Lincoln. "And here's one of them."
"Hi. Lincoln Loud, nice to meet you." Lincoln greeted.
"Whoa Ronnie Anne. You brought a human boy down here." Carlota said. "You brought a human. Does Carl know about him yet?"
"Uh, no." Ronnie Anne answered. "Why would I be introducing him to you first?"
"Well, you know how Carl gets when there's stuff involving humans." Carlota said.
"I know. But there's no way I'm gonna let him kill, Lincoln." Ronnie Anne said assuringly.
"Had Carl even killed any humans before?" Lincoln asked in concern.
"Not yet." Ronnie Anne replied.
"You better make sure he doesn't see him." Carlota said.
"I won't. Besides if anything bad happens to Lincoln Queen Rita will not bad happy about it." Ronnie Anne said.
"Why's that?" Carlota asked.
"Because I'm her new stepson." Lincoln said.
"Really? You're her stepson?" Carlota asked in surprise.
"Yep. She's gonna be marrying my dad, one day." Lincoln replied.
"That's a surprise. Anyway, the rest of the family is in here." Carlota said. "But fortunately, Carl is hanging out with a few friends of his outside the palace."
"Okay good. We have time to introduce you to the rest of the fam." Ronnie Anne said.
"Also I know how you feel. Lynn and Lola can't stand me," Lincoln stated to Carlota.
"I've heard." Carlota replied before she swam in the room, allowing Lincoln and Ronnie Anne to follow her.
"Alright CJ, is probably around here somewhere." Carlota said .
"And where's that?" Ronnie Anne asked before she was poked by something made of wood.
Ronnie Anne turned around and sees a 13 year old merboy, a bit chubby, short back hair, with a yellow tail wearing a pirate hat on his head. "Hey Ronnie Anne." He said.
"Hey C.J." Ronnie Anne greeted.
"Who's the human?" C.J asked as he noticed Lincoln.
"This is Lincoln. He's one of the human friends I've been telling you about." Ronnie Anne explained.
"Oh!" C.J said. "Hi Lincoln I'm C.J."
"Hey C.J." Lincoln greeted,
"Now listen C.J Carl doesn't needs to know about Lincoln's time here. So you can't tell him anything." Carlota said.
"Okay. I won't tell him." C.J assured.
"Ronalda? Is that you?" A female voice asked.
They look and see a tan mermaid with a pain tail, black hair , wearing a pink seashell bra. She swims towards Ronnie Anne and hugs her tightly. "You have returned!" The mermaid cried out as she hugged her.
"Great to see you again Tia Frida." Ronnie Anne said.
"And is this one of your human friends?" Frida asked as she looked at Lincoln.
"Yeah, this is Lincoln." Ronnie Anne introduced.
"So you must be the human Ronnie Anne has told me about." Frida said. "Even that animal lover Sid."
"That's me. It's nice to be able to visit a kingdom that isn't Atlantis." Lincoln said.
"Aztutic is a beautiful kingdom." Frida said. "It brings out the artist in me."
"Nice. I like making my own comic art." Lincoln replied before he noticed the rest of Ronnie Anne's family arrive.
Lincoln noticed four more merfolk coming towards him. One is a 17 year old boy with tan skin, black hair, a dark green tail, wearing Aztec earring, bracelets and a necklace.
The other is a middle aged man with tan skin, black hair wearing a pair of glasses, has a dirty green tail.
Two elderly merfolk, both overweight, one is an old man with blading grey hair, tan skin, with a green tail.
The last one is a elderly tan women wearing a pale blue tanktop, has black hair in a bun, and has a dark blue tail.
"Hey, Nie Nie. Welcome back." The teenage boy said as he hugged Ronnie Anne.
"Please don't call me that, bro." Ronnie Anne said in embarrassment.
"Nie nie?" Lincoln smirked.
"Shut up Lame-o." Ronnie Anne grumbled as she and her brother parted from the hug.
"So you're this human I've heard so much about." The brother said.
"I sure am. And you're Ronnie Anne's brother?" Lincoln asked.
"Name's Roberto. But can call me Bobby for short." Bobby introduced.
"Nice. So you're the guy who's planning on going out with Lori?" Lincoln asked.
"Yeah. But, how do you know her?" Bobby questioned.
"Because I'm her new stepbrother. I'll explain everting later." Lincoln said.
"Greetings human. My name is Carlos." Carlos said as he shook Lincoln's hand. "I have so many questions about the surface."
"That can wait Carlos." The old merman said.
"I'm glad that you're finally letting us meet one of your friends, mija." The old mermaid said.
"Yeah. He's a pretty cool guy, Abuela." Ronnie Anne replied.
"Has Carl seen him?" Bobby asked in concern. "You know what happens when he lays eyes on a human."
"No he hasn't." Ronnie Anne said.
"I hate to ask why?" Lincoln said.
"Trust me. It's best you don't know." The old merman said.
"If he comes back not a single word. You got it Hector?"
"I got it Rosa." Hector replied.
"So, how about we give you a tour around our palace?" Carlota asked.
"That sounds nice." Lincoln replied.
"You guys do that. I'm just gonna have some alone time." Ronnie Anne said before she swam out the room.
"Okay, dear. Be safe." Frida replied.
"Come with us, Lincoln." C.J said while pulling on Lincoln's arm.
"Okay. I will." Lincoln replied before he followed the Casagrandes to another room.
However, none of them knew that a young merboy was watching them from a nearby window. He had short black hair that was styled in a curled roll and a red tail.
"She brought a human here and by the looks of it. It's that boy Ronnie Anne hangs around with." The merboy said. "I need to get rid of him."
He swam away from the window and approached a nearby box before opening it. The merboy pulled out a piece of paper and began using a pen made of coral to write something on it.
"And this is the perfect way. Humans are a tasty snack after all." The merboy said with a smirk. "Carl, you are a clever merboy."
Later, Carl was inside the palace and he placed the piece of paper down on the floor.
"Now I've just gotta wait for that stupid human to show up, read my note and then he'll fall into my little trap." Carl said before he swam away to hide.
As Carl got inside a wooden box, he noticed a shadow swimming down the halls towards his letter.
"Yes. He's going for it." Carl whispered before closing the door.
Lincoln was swimming around the hall until he finds the note. "Hey Linc. I have found a treasure chest at the big cave. If you can't remember I have a drawn a map on the back of this note. Signed Ronnie Anne." Lincoln read. "Why couldn't she just tell me In person?"
"Why couldn't I tell you what in person?" Ronnie Anne asked as she showed up behind Lincoln.
"You said you found some treasure in a cave." Lincoln said
"Oh crud." Carl gulped.
"Cave? I've never been to any cave before." Ronnie Anne replied. "Maybe I should go check it out myself. I have a feeling that someone is trying to set you up."
"Ok let's get going." Lincoln said. "Besides you might need a witness."
"Whatever you say, Lame-O." Ronnie Anne said before they both swam off.
Carl peaked from the box. "Ah man Ronnie Anne is heading to the cave. I only want Lincoln to be eaten not her." Carl said.
"What did you just say, Carl?" A voice asked.
Carl stiffened in fear and he slowly turned around to see Arturo staring down at him with a stern glare.
"Flop my life." Carl muttered.
Meanwhile, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne had left the palace and they soon arrived at a deep hole in the ground. They reached the bottom and saw a cave in front of them.
"So, is that the cave?" Lincoln asked.
"Looks like it. I don't know what's in there." Ronnie Anne said. "I once overheard my parents saying this part of the ocean being forbidden to enter for some reason."
"Really? Why's that?" Lincoln asked curiously.
"I don't know." Ronnie Anne said before they both heard a low growl. "Uh, was that your stomach?"
"No. Was it yours?" Lincoln asked with a hint of fear.
"Nope." Ronnie Anne gulped right when two giant red tentacles grabs the two kids.
"Oh carp!" Lincoln and Ronnie Anne yelled in fear.
They looked to the cave and coming out of it was a giant red squid. And it was looking very hungry.
"I guess that explains why this place is forbidden!" Lincoln said worriedly.
"If we survive this, I'm gonna kill whoever wrote that letter!" Ronnie Anne shouted.
"Same here!" Lincoln replied as he was getting squeezed. The giant squad began to to bring the two clods closer to its mouth.
"Let us go!" Ronnie Anne shouted before she managed to poke her arm out and fire a small water projectile at the squid's face.
How did you do that?!" Lincoln asked shocked.
"Maybe later Lame-o!" Ronnie Anne shouted.
"I'm guessing you can use water abilities like some of my sisters?!" Lincoln asked, much to Ronnie Anne's surprise.
"Uh, yeah. But, they're not very powerful!" Ronnie Anne replied.
But then, the squid began squeezing Ronnie Anne very tightly and she gagged painfully while her face began turning blue.
"Ronnie Anne!" Lincoln cried out right when the giant squid was squeezing Lincoln tighter as he gagged painfully.
Suddenly, a large energy beam struck thr top of the canyon and caused a bunch of giant boulders to come tumbling down. The giant squid saw this and let go of Lincoln and Ronnie Anne before retreating into the cave. The boulders fell down onto the cave entrance and sealed it off completely.
When Lincoln coughed up a little bit and stood up, he saw Ronnie Anne laying on the floor and she wasn't showing any signs of breathing.
"Ronnie Anne! Come on, wake up!" Lincoln stated worriedly, swimming towards his friend. "Say something, please!" Lincoln placed both of his hands on Ronnie Anne's chest and pressed down multiple times. "Don't die on me!" He said.
After a few more presses, Ronnie Anne coughed roughly and stood up. "Well, that's probably gonna give me nightmares." Ronnie Anne groaned.
"You're alive!" Lincoln exclaimed as he gave her a big hug. "Don't scare me like that again, Ronnie!"
"What just happened?" Ronnie Anne asked as she parted from the hug.
"I used CPR underwater right before a laser attacked the giant squid." Lincoln replied.
A laser?" Ronnie Anne repeated.
"Are you both alright?" A voice asked as Lincoln and Ronnie Anne saw Arturo swimming down to them.
"We're ok dad. Lincoln saved my life, but someone wrote this fake letter leading us here." Ronnie Anne explained, "But when I do. I'm gonna throw that jerk into a swarm of electric eels."
"I believe that someone is right here." Arturo said with a frown before Carl appeared behind him.
"Hey." Carl said nervously.
"Carl! You son of a barracuda!" Ronnie Anne said in anger, cracking her fists.
"You did this?!" Lincoln exclaimed in anger.

"Yeah, but it was just for you, stupid human!" Carl replied.
"Well your plan to kill Lincoln almost got me killed!" Ronnie Anne stated.
"I'm really sorry." Carl said with him giving puppy dog eyes.
"I already have a good punishment for him." Arturo said. "Scraping barnacles off of the palace walls."
"What?! That's gonna take a whole day for me to do!" Carl complained.
"It's either that or I punch you in your perfect teeth." Ronnie Anne said threateningly.
"Or we can can go on the surface and place your face on the hot pavement." Lincoln threatened.
"Scraping barnacles it is." Carl replied.
"Good." Arturo said before he and Carl swam away.
"You know, this isn't how I wanted your visit to go." Ronnie Anne admitted while rubbing the back of her head.
"Hey, it's okay." Lincoln said. "Besides, I still got to meet the rest of your family. They're pretty cool."
"Yeah. They sure are." Ronnie Anne agreed with a smile. "Wanna have some lunch with us before we go home?"
"Of course. I'm interested in what Merfolk like to eat." Lincoln replied.
"Mostly seaweed stuff. But I'm sure we can find something that humans like you can eat." Ronnie Anne said before they both swam back to the palace for some lunch.
