Chapter 8: Scotland Yarders (and Interfering Older Brothers Who are The British Government)
Not long after Ferdinand Lightfern & 00BB left 221B Baker Street, Greg returned to the flat (this time with a case).
"You have a case" said Sherlock, Verde (in the absence of Ferdinand) & the two Farfields simultaneously. Greg wanted to ask how they knew, but one look at John told him to think better of it (as it was obvious).
"Will you come?" the DI asked instead. It was Verde who gave an answer, though not what he may have expected.
"Shouldn't we wait for them?" she asked. She was referring of course to 00BB & Ferdy.
"'They' can't be waited for" Richard had to say.

Arriving at the crime scene, the group was met by a 'Big Person' female with A LOT of dark curling hair. She lifted the crime scene tape for them (except Verde who went straight through it when it was lowered).
"Freaks* here" the woman said.
"That was Sgt. Sally Donovan or as we call her, Donovan" informed Verde (in the absence of Ferdy, she had to explain to Frodo & Pippin (but not the Farfields)). "She does not like Sherlock ('or anyone smarter than her for that matter' she thought to herself)"
Further in the crime scene (with the dead body, obviously) were a weasel-like/faced man and a man with an umbrella and a three piece suit.
"Weasel Face here is Anderson. Full name Phillip Anderson. He's part of the Forensics team." explained Verde "and Umbrella Suit (a nickname for Mycroft another author used in one of their stories, which I think I've read. That's an author's note, not Verde's thoughts) is Sherlock's older (by seven years)* Mycroft Holmes. Mycroft will tell you he has a minor role/position in the British Government. Some say he is the British Government. Ignore Mycroft for now. Though why he's even here in the first place, I'd like to know."
"Michael Brant (A/N: completely random name (but not random initials; later in the story you will see why)) his name is. Tell us what you've got." (Mycroft or Greg said this)
"Someone obviously is targeting people - not just people, children - with certain initials. The killer will go after three more victims" Unexpectedly but not surprisingly -,this did not come from Sherlock (or Mycroft); but from a Farfield.
"How can you know that?" asked Donovan "You another Freak?"
"First that's insulting (and also not true). Second, you're just jealous of some people because they're smarter than you." This came from Verde (or it could have been the other Farfield).
"How would you know?" questioned Anderson.
"It's a Farfield thing" both Farfields reponded.
"Seeing as I'm not needed here, i'll be taking my leave now" said Mycroft (not without a Look at Greg**). With that, he left.
"We should also be leaving" suggested Verde (addressing the others (excluding Greg, Donovan & Anderson). "Not much else we can do here" she added, referring to the crime scene.
* = When Donovan said this she was referring to both Sherlock and John
