"Digging the new look kai." Evelyn said. On the ride to peak. Before i left i made sure to change my appearance. I cut my long hair and dyed it blonde. I changed my outfit to black sleeveless shirt. Alongside a regular pair of jeans. I also had a huge broadsword with a barrel at it's tip. If i used armads it would give me away. So I had to find another weapon. I look at the other team they brought along…yeah it's that skank and her two cronies that jumped amber. How did they manage to get into beacon undetected. And changing my appearances seems to have worked. They don't recognize me. So i don't have to worry about sneak attacks…i'll kill these three eventually but for right now…i need to work with them to get into peak.
On the way. Professor peach told me about this abandoned mining town. It was a thriving mining town. But something appeared and all the miners disappeared. Anyone trying to investigate the town was stopped by an invisible barrier…therefore trying to get in has been impossible…until now.
Whatever powerful being that made the barrier wants david here. I don't know why. But it has to do with that mysterious flame that resides within him. But the no aura restriction is quite the handicap. Before i came to beacon. I was fighting without it. Which is why peach brought me along. Can't really hide much in beacon.
After setting up camp in the outskirts of the city. Our next goal is open the gate so we can get inside the city. Alongside finding the source of the debilitation field. The one that made entering peak impossible. David warned us to run if we see fire to run…fair warning. I can feel it. Somewhere beneath this city. An extremely powerful fire being is below us. Most likely in peak's mines. Me penny and mercury went through a door. And climbed up a huge ramp of stairs. We kept moving until we found a big black blob pulsating an orange light. It was over the gate controls.
"David. We found the controls for the gate." penny said. Over her scroll.
"That's good…do you see anything else?" david asked.
"Some big blob of…something. I'm guessing that's the source of the field?" i asked.
"What is it? What exactly do you see?" david asked.
"I'll send a picture to evelyn's scroll." penny said. She snapped a photo of the blob with her scroll and sent it to evelyn.
"Hoooly carrots! That's creepy." evelyn said.
"Neither the less. We found what we looking for. Time to destroy it!" i yelled as i drew my greatsword.
"Maybe not completely please? Teacher wants to study this specimen!" peach yelled. I sweatdropped. I slashed it in two. A liquid metal began to ooze from it. Just when i thought the mission was done. The liquid metal came at me with a spike. I dodged but it hit mercury on the arm. It wasn't a deep wound. A boo boo at best. But the weirdest thing was yet to come. As the liquid began to morph into another mercury….a female mercury.
"You've got to be fucking shitting me!" mercury yelled. Utterly baffled at what's happening. i can't blame him. I was not ready for today.
"Penny? What is that thing turning into?" david asked. On the other end of the scroll. The metal finished morphing. And a female mercury was now standing in front of us with her eyes closed and a smile on her face. She stretched a bit like she just woke up.
"Damn. feels good to be alive." the female mercury said….
"What…the…fuck?" i asked. Not being able to comprehend what just happened.
"You…you can't." mercury said. Just as unable to comprehend as much as I am. The female mercury gave off a bizarre laugh.
"Oh come on! It just happened in front of your eyes! Of course i can! But enough about that! I want to experience more!" the female mercury yelled as she charged at us. I blocked her kick with my sword but the force was enough to knock me back.
"Kairudo!" penny yelled.
"I'm fine! Keep your guard up! She's aiming for you!" i yelled. Penny summoned her swords. And ducking another kick. Slashing away at the female mercury. But her blades aren't making it through her flesh. Like she's wearing an entire set of armor. Damn! I was so baffled by the girl mercury clone that i forgot to take into account what created her. The liquid metal from that weird blob…i'm fighting something made of metal. As mercury was struggling to block the blows of his girl clone. I saw an opportunity. The female mercury was right in front of the glass window that the blob was on a few minutes ago. So i rushed forward and tackled her through the window.
"What the hell are you doing!?" the female mercury yelled.
"I'll admit. You're a first. Never faced anything made of metal before. Like facing a fully armored foe. The usual ain't gonna cut it with you. So let's see if a long drop into cold hard pavement is enough to crack your metal shell!" i yelled. The ground rapidly approached. The cracking of concrete. I stood up and saw a huge crater around me. I got and collected my sword. I turned around to pick up the female mercury. Pretty sure peach would love this specimen. But to my annoyance. She stood up and looked at me with a grin.
"You're insane!...I like it. I still got some in me! Let's keep going." the female mercury said with a grin. I sighed.
"No prying eyes….guess i can use my real weapon now." i said. I summoned armads. The female mercury laughed.
"So your the masked girl that beat the hell out of daddy issues and cohorts." the female mercury said.
"How do you know that?" I asked.
"I got his memories mask girl. You would make for one hell of a spy. You really went all the way to make sure those three didn't regonize you. Finding that sword couldn't be easy…but why blonde?" the female mercury asked.
"Blondes have the most fun…now let's end this fun." i said. I charged at the female mercury.
David pov.
We followed to where kairudo have landed. Only to find her walking towards us with the girl mercury over her shoulder.
"Damn kai! You are a badass!" evelyn yelled.
"Yep. hey professor. You wanted a specimen? I got you one." i said.
"Why thank you kairudo." professor peach said.
"I think we should squish her head and be done with it." mercury said.
"No one asked you." i said. He looked at me with anger. After that we headed back to beacon. This female mercury may have info that would help. But i doubt she would willingly tell us anything. But we're leaving that to professor peach. Team jpde now owes cinder and her cronies a favor….that's gonna come back that to bite them so hard!
"Still thinking you should erase that thing off the face of remnant." mercury said.
"Just leave it alone…we have a boobs version of you walking around. So what?" emerald asked.
"I would like to see your reaction if there was a dick version of you running around!" mercury yelled.
"Hehehe…that sounds like some kind of porn." evelyn whispered to david.
"I know right? Maybe madonna has written something similar?" david whispered…i regonized that name.
"Jaune's mom? When did she arrive?" i whispered to david…
"A while ago." david whispered back. "Well we should all head back to our rooms." david said.
"We'll see you in class." jack said.
"Ciao!" evelyn said. Everyone returned to their dorms. I found amber asleep. She's cute when she's asleep. I crawled into my bed. Sleeping is hard. Because my mind is filled with questions about that mining town. What the hell was that stuff? What else could it do? And most importantly. What is that insane power i'm feeling deep beneath the town? I suppose all our bets lie on that female mercury….let's hope peach knows what she's doing.
