Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley had felt a connection since they had met on Platform 9 3/4. No one could say there was nothing between the two. Finally that connection came to a head at the Burrow the summer after Ginny graduated from Hogwarts. This was the name she'd graduated under, but not the name she'd keep for long. A loud shriek was heard from the kitchen of the Burrow.
"YOU WANT TO WHAT!?" Inside, Ginny, Harry and Mr. Weasley sat calmly while Mrs. Weasley hyperventilated.
"We want to get married Mum, Dad. I've graduated school, that's what we've been waiting for." Ginny explained calmly.
"Ginerva, it isn't that we don't think Harry's not a nice young man, but it simply can't happen." Mr. Weasley explained, just as calm.
"Why not, Mr. Weasley?" The elder Weasleys sighed. Aurthur looked to his wife, who sat heavily.
"Dear, we can't hide it from them forever. If we don't tell them, they'll get married. The Potters aren't like the Malfoys and Blacks dear."
"I know Aurthur. I know. It's just, we've not told a soul except Dumbledore. But we've told no one else!"
"I know dear. But they deserve to know, before they do something silly, like elope."
"We're sitting right here!" Ginny and Harry chorused. Molly burst into tears and the two looked shocked.
"Ginny, Harry, there's something you both need to know. There's a very important reason why the two of you can't get married. A very important one."
"WHY dad?" Ginny asked, impatient now.
"Ginny, darling, baby girl." Molly began.
"Ginerva, Molly's never had a baby girl. You two can't get married because you're name's already Potter."
"I don't understand. My last name's Weasley. Mum had me seventeen years ago..." She stopped as Arthur shook his head.
"Seventeen years ago, after the Potters went into hiding, Lily Potter snuck out under James' invisibility cloak and begged us to raise her baby girl. We were confused, everyone knew that James and Lily had a baby boy, now a year old, but not a baby girl. Lily explained to us that no one knew that she'd been pregnant except Dumbledore. She'd had her daughter at home, and hadn't named her. She had a feeling that everything would go wrong, and she wanted her daughter safe. So, she wanted us to raise her daughter, until she could, and treat her like our own. We did so." Before Harry or Ginny could speak, Mrs. Weasley did.
"You can't get married, because you're brother and sister."
Harry and Ginny just sat in shock and exchanged glances and started laughing...
Arthur and Molly were taken aback from their reaction, they hoped for a different reaction like hexes flying back and forth but the laughter never expected.
Harry smiled mischievously, "Well, now that wasn't so hard now was it?"
Arthur's eyes widened, and stammered, "Y-Y-You knew, you both knew?"
Harry and Ginny nodded.
Ginny sighed, "But now we are shall we say stuck between a rock and hard place if you will, muggle saying. Harry and Hermione taught it to me."
Arthur asked, "What do you mean Ginny?"
Harry said, "I knew about you adopting Ginny, the muggle way, did you ever consider blood adoption, or blood chromosomal adoption, because you only told Dumbledore, so in other words, the ministry records have Ginny listed as a Weasley, while the Gringotts have the adoption records. We didn't know of the adoption until 2 weeks after we started dating. The breakup at the funeral was in fact planned on both accounts because it would give me time to focus on other things like taking care of Voldemort himself, but it always, says, absence makes the heart grow fonder and even though we knew of it, our feelings, our romantic feelings never changed not even when she went back to school and all."
Ginny said, "So we told Hermione about our sibling relation, though it was slightly sickening to her and she cursed up a storm for not telling us when we started dating, yes, i know Fred and George must've told you a week afterwards. So we have no choice, but to get married to each other.
Molly exclaimed, " What do you two mean that you two have no choice, you two can't get married. You always have a choice."
Harry asked, "Arthur, Molly, what, no wrong question, how does one pay back a life debt they incurred?"
Arthur said, "What does that have to do with?" (Sees the stares) and answered, "Life debt can be paid back by the galleons based on the price of the birth. The other is sacrificing your life for the one whom you owe the debt to." (Molly nodded at the answer)..
Ginny said, "Well, then you were lied to. That is only a half-answer meaning that is a life debt that is incurred between two boys and/or two girls, but not between a boy and girl."
Harry continued, "Right, the life debt which how one pays back the one they owed is between two same sex individuals not two opposite sex individuals. (Held up his hand) So the life debt created a merlin bond between me and Ginny a bond which is unbreakable and has harsh punishments if it isn't honored no matter if the ones on the bond are full, half, step or adopted siblings."
Arthur and Molly's heart dropped and had a forebodding aura around the room.
Ginny said, "Sit down, now!"
Arthur and Molly complied and had teas in their hands.
Molly asked in a shakily voice, "What bond use the life debt basis between you and Harry?"
Ginny answered, "The bond is titled, the damsel-in-distress rescue betrothal bond. Yes, me and Harry have to get married, if we didn't have this bond with us, we would have a choice, but thanks to this damn bond, we don't and i don't care. The punishments for third parties trying to break this bond will automatically be transported to Azkaban prison right smack in front of a dementor who will then kiss them. Worse punishments for us, for the ones on the bond, since we know of the bond, if we marry someone else other than each other then on that particular wedding day, assume, i marreid michael or dean, as soon as i kiss dean or michael sealing the vow, i would perish as would Harry effectively ending the potter line completely and vice versa. If you kept the bond a secret however and we didn't know of it, then the significant others other than ourselves will perish within 1 month to year after our marriage if it wasn't to each other and the other part is eternal infertility, the other part is that, is prevents the virginities being taken away, except by the ones listed on the bond, in other words, Harry would only be able to take my virginity away and I would only be able to take Harry's virginity away. So do you two want to stop the Potter line from continuing or not? The other option is, throwing both of ourselves into veil and in hopes of repeating our lives all over again. Your choice."
Arthur and Molly left the room and had intense arguing.
Arthur and Molly came back inside.
Molly sighed dejectedly, "Alright, you two can get married, but you better have a way of getting the birth defects possibility out of your systems, that is one of the curse of the potters."
Harry said, "Already covered as soon as we found out, that I was a sibling to Ginny and she was my sister after we got back together this year, remember the vacation to America we took, she was no longer a Potter by the time she returned she became a Prewett, yes her name is now Ginerva Molly Prewett, and i've hid the article from the family but not our friends. the reason why is because you two were too smothering. While you two did raise Ginny, you should've blood chromosomally adopted her on the off-chance we would've fallen in love and all. She no longer has the blood of a Potter, she has the blood of Prewett and Weasley now. Arthur's cousin's, Molly's Doppelganger, Elizabeth Prewett formerly Weasley. married Molly's cousin, Arthur's doppelganger, Septimus Weasley. They blood chromosomally adopted Ginny because she and I both wanted to get married and so we tried to give you two chance to come clean.,yet you two never did. Yes in front of the fam. But now you no longer need to and me and Gin, will have our wedding in America and it will be a blood-marriage and possibly soul bond...
Later that yea Harry and Ginny married and lived happily ever after and repeated their lives with the correct births as in jkr's books and movies THE END.
