Chapter 17 – Waypoint Pt 2
Trust fall, baby
It's a trust fall, baby
Picture a place where it all doesn't hurt
Where everything's safe, and it doesn't get worse
Oh my, we see through bloodshot eyes
Picture a place, somewhere else far away
Where you know what they mean, and they mean what they say
To us and would that be enough?
Are we running out of time?
Are we hiding from the light?
Are we just too scared to fight
For what we want tonight?
Close your eyes and leave it all behind
Go where love is on our side
It's a trust fall, baby
It's a trust fall, baby
You and I and everyone alive
We can run into the fire
It's a trust fall, baby
Yeah, it's a trust fall, baby
Jump with me, come with me, burn like the sun
We'll talk, then we'll cry, then we'll laugh 'til we're done
Oh, my, it's like we're out our minds
We've been running for our lives
We've been hiding from the light
We've been far too scared to fight
For what we want tonight
Close your eyes and leave it all behind
Go where love is on our side
It's a trust fall, baby
It's a trust fall, baby
You and I and everyone alive
We can run into the fire
It's a trust fall, baby
Yeah, it's a trust fall, baby
What if we just fall?
I'm not going without you
(And you're not going alone)
I fell so far 'til I found you
(But you know what you know, when you know)
So, I'm not going without you
(And you're not going alone)
'Cause you know, when you know
Close your eyes and leave it all behind
Go where love is on our side
It's a trust fall, baby
It's a trust fall, baby
What if we just fall?
What if we just fall?
What if we just fall?
What if we just fall?
What if we just fall?
What if we just fall?
What if we just-
****December POV****
Of course, I had to die. The ultimate ending…. Right? But if I'm dead. Why am I in so much pain? I felt my abdomen and it felt wet. I looked down and saw a bunch of blood. My eyes widened and I looked around. I saw nothing. Just a blue haze. It seemed far off, but also near, strange.
"Huntress!" I all but grunted. I could barely talk. "Huntress!" I tried again a little louder, but not by much. I tried to stand, but barely made it to my knees. 'What the hell?'
Pain. So…. Much…. Pain. I started tearing up. But I was tough. I've been through worse. I looked down and I was bleeding heavily, I started feeling dizzy. I shook it off and got up to find the huntress. I only took a few steps when she finally appeared. But she looked different. I fell again to my knees.
"What the bloody hell is going on?" I grunted. I looked at her. Really looked, at her.
"I don't know who looks worse, me, or you." She said as she too, fell to her knees.
I tried to laugh but coughed up blood instead and nearly choked. I felt a slap on my back and coughed again. I looked at her and she smiled. She never smiles.
"We're dying. " I said as more of a statement than question.
"Seems that way. That bastard stabbed you with a special knife. How he got it in the first place, I have no idea. Sneaky son of a bitch. He's been planning this all along," she sighed. Coughing up blood as well. We both sat down. The pain was too much to kneel or stand.
"It was my knife, huntress. Apparently, it's not just for vampires. Vampire hunters as well. I just never thought him capable of this. I never saw this coming. Why? Why me?" 'I just couldn't fathom why he would want to kill me. Vampires yes, but me, what the hell did I do?'
"I have a theory," she said as I looked at her and waited for her to continue. I felt so dizzy. "He hates vampires. You're with a vampire. Mated or not, doesn't matter. You're with the one thing he despises, and he saw no redemption for you, except death."
"I was still doing my job." I mumbled.
"Yes, but to him on the 'outside' of things. Think. He obviously had you followed for the past year. What did he possibly see?"
I tried to think of everything that happened in the past year. I coughed again, more blood, but it's becoming black. "I have to lie down," I said as I did just that. She did the same next to me. "Jasper, the Cullens, the Volturi. Shit."
"Yep. All he saw was a bunch of vampires that you did not kill but protected. Never mind the ones that you did kill. All he saw was you becoming friendly without killing. He doesn't care of the story in between." The huntress gasped and spat out black blood.
"My god why does this hurt so bad? Why am I not dead yet?!" I gasped, turning over and coughing. Once I was done, I looked at the blood. "What the fuck?" I mumbled. I took my finger and swept through the blood. "What is this cleary silvery shit?" Just then my neck spasmed. I immediately touched where it hurt, and I felt it. I gasped and looked at the huntress. She had a knowing look.
"Coming together now, is it?" she half laughed half coughed.
"But I can't turn. Why would Jasper…" Suddenly I felt a wave of nausea.
"Because I told him to. He's your mate. The only one who could ever, turn you." She clarified. And I threw up.
Once I was done, I glared at her. "And you couldn't mention this any earlier?"
"It was something you had to put together on your own. And if myself or Jasper would've said something…." she said.
"I would've stopped it," I finished for her.
"Precisely. I felt it. That the end was coming. I always can. But with you, you were different, you had another way." She said throwing up as well.
"Another way?" I was still glaring at her.
"To live," she said as she heaved, but nothing else came out.
"But I am dying. I wouldn't be going through all this if I wasn't." I said confused.
"You're different than a regular human. You're literally a walking virus to vampires. Your body is automatically rejecting Jasper's venom. Your change, if I'm right, is going to be more difficult. More painful. But I know you. You will make it through."
"I can't…. I'm not going to make it like this," heaving and vomiting again.
"Don't fight it." Was all she said as she started to disappear.
"What? What the hell, you're going to leave me here?" I yelled glaring up at the void around me.
I felt, more than heard her, "Don't fight it."
I sighed. "Stubborn bitch," I mumbled. "Ok, well. I guess I'll somehow deal." I took a deep breath and laid down. I just kept breathing even though I wanted to just roll over, throw up, and die.
I breathed and I got hit with a sense of calm, but also something else. I opened my eyes and screamed. Then, just then, my memories came flooding back. Mom, Dad, Crowley, car crash. EVERYTHING!
****Third person POV****
"Get her to a bed! Now!" Caius all but screamed as he threw open the doors to Carlisle's home.
"Caius you really don't need to scream brother, we all can hear you just fine," Aro said as everyone made their way in.
"I'm sorry brother, but MY sister is DYING and we have no way to help her! I'm going to kill that son of a bitch and take his whole army with him." Caius seethed.
"I didn't see this," Alice was all but crying. "I should've seen something," she murmured. Rose tried to console her.
"It's no one's fault. Everyone get that through your heads. This isn't what she would've wanted," Bella said gritting her teeth, sitting on the other side of December as Caius took up the other.
"Carlisle isn't there something you could do?" Caius continued to yell, taking December's hand.
"I'm trying to stop the bleeding, or at least slow it down, but this is totally out of my area of expertise. This wound is different." Carlisle said clearly getting frustrated.
"December, if you can hear me, please don't give up. We all need you. You brought us all together, without you, we'll tear apart," Bella said as she brought December's hand to her lips to press a slight kiss. "You're my sister too. She looks so pale. She's not even moving, barely breathing," Bella whispered.
"Shallow breathes at that," Emmett mumbled.
"We have to do something," Aro sighed. "They have Jane and Demetri, along with The Major as well."
"Daddy, why do you have that look on your face," Renesmee said looking up at her father.
Everyone was so engrossed with December and what happened that they forgot they had a child in the room as well.
"My god Renesmee, I'm so sorry honey. Do you need to step out with someone? This shouldn't be a place for a child," Carlisle said.
"NO!" she yelled. "She's family. I may look like a child, but I'm more mature than some in this room. You will NOT take me from her!" Renesmee said as she went to sit with Bella taking both Bella's and December's hands in hers.
A brief silence fell over the room. All that can be heard is December's occasional gasps of air.
"I was thinking," Edward began. Everyone looked at him. He took an unnecessary cough to clear his throat. "She can't be turned. But I'm looking at her, and there's subtle differences in her appearance."
Everyone's eyes went to December.
"There was a time, during the battle, when Jasper's mental shield, provided by December, flickered. I can only guess it was when December got stabbed. It was just for a moment, but I saw a memory. One where he bit her. There was a voice in his head, a whisper, but that's all I got. It faded away as quickly as it came." Edward sighed.
More silence. Except for Carlisle changing of December's bandages. "Even with vampire speed, I'm having a hard time keeping up with the blood loss. It's turning black," Carlisle mumbled.
"You mean, he bit her and injected venom in her? Why? If she can't be turned?" mumbled Marcus.
"Jasper's venom." Bella mumbled.
"What?" came a few voices.
Bella shook her head and looked, all eyes on her, some gold, some red. One pair of brown. Renesmee looked at her mom, who was looking at December. A slight smile to her lips.
"Uncle Jasper's venom,' Renesmee started. "His is the only venom that can turn her."
"Look at the blood coming out, if you look closer, it's….silvery," mumbled Marcus.
They all took a closer look.
"Damn it Carlisle, keep that shit in, she needs it," yelled Caius as Carlisle took more gauze and pressed down harder.
"Don't fight it December," Bella stated to December, more hope in her voice. She got closer to her ear. "Don't fight it sister. Breathe. Let him heal you."
Just then December let out a terrible scream.
"What the fuck was that?" Emmett said as he let go of his ears. It seems everyone had covered their ears.
He failed to look at the Kings faces as well as Bella's.
"She's allowing the change," Caius whispered while sweeping some hair away from December's face.
"What do you mean?" Carlisle asked as he changed the bandages again.
Esme put a hand on Carlisle's to stop him. He just looked up at her. "Look at her love. Stop with the bandages and look," she said smiling.
Carlisle looked at his wife, then to December. He let out a breath he didn't think he was holding.
"She's letting go. That scream." Aro mumbled.
"It's a trustfall." Edward said. "She's trusting in Jasper's venom."
"These next few days are going to be hell. In the meantime, we need to strategize. We won't let that bastard get away with what he's done," Rose said, still holding Alice's hand. Alice nodded along with a look of determination.
…..
Two days. It took only two days.
"Everyone out now!" Bella said as she closed the door after everyone left. Caius of course stayed. He and Bella are the only ones to possibly keep December calm as she comes to.
Bella stood at the door, Caius at the window, near the sliding door. Nodding to each other as December took her last breaths.
****December's POV****
I felt my heart slow. I don't know how long it's been. A day? A week? Seems the vamps aren't exaggerating about the timeframe of the change. It hurts like hell. I feel like I've been through hell and back a hundred times. A burning that never fades, never ceases. I know it's coming to an end. I can feel it. But the few things outweighing this pain, is Jasper. My family. Getting revenge. I don't quite remember everything that happened. What I do remember though, Crowley. He's the reason. He will die at my hands.
I gasped. A white flash and suddenly, nothing. Everything. Colors, dust, molecules in the air. 'What the fuck.'
I blinked a few times. My eyelids must've fluttered a hundred times. 'Well, that's new." I mumbled.
"Wait, what?" I sat up. "Whoa!" I yelped, grabbing the table underneath me. And I fell. It broke! The damn table broke. 'Wait…. Table?'
"Easy Ember," a voice whispered.
My instincts went haywire. I looked around and saw a figure next to the door. I knew her, but I couldn't place her.
"Easy sister," another voice said. I whipped my head around and saw a male standing at the window, hands raised. I knew him too. Blonde hair.
"Ahhh, what the fuck is going on!" I yelled and grabbed my head and breathed.
"It's Bella and Caius Ember. We're your family, we won't hurt you, I promise." Bella whispered hands raised too.
I wanted to cry, but I couldn't. I just looked around me, getting my bearings. I looked at her and the male again and breathed. I closed my eyes, scents. All familiar scents, but I growled.
'What the hell? Growled?!'
"Did that just come from me?" I asked myself looking at the floor and the now-broken table.
"Ember, do you remember what happened?" Bella asked. "How you got here?"
"Where is here exactly?" I asked. I had to do a double take at my voice. Didn't sound like me at all.
"The Cullen home. Carlisle's. Do you know who Carlisle is?"
I sighed trying to remember. 'Think December think. What the hell happened.' What would take a few minutes to a human, took only a second for myself.
"I remember a conversation. A lot of running around, a battle? I guess? A little girl. You and Caius?" I asked looking at them both. They were still standing by the door and the window. They nodded. "Confusion, surprise, and pain. A lot of pain. A lot of emotions."
I felt a hand. I looked up to see it was Bella's, she was smiling. "You're not cold anymore." I told her. She nodded and helped me stand up.
"Easy," another hand helped me. I looked and it was Caius. He too had a small smile.
"Gentle as ever, brother." I said. I suddenly felt stiff. Took a second to realize he was hugging me.
"December," he sighed. Touching my hair, my back. At this point I don't think he thought I was real. He let go and took my face in his hands and kissed my forehead. "My sister. I thought you were lost." He let go.
I was then engulfed by Bella. I was ok with my faculties now that I hugged her back.
"Oh! Ember! You're suffocating me." she muffled in my shoulder.
"Oh shit," I said letting her go.
She took a breath, "it's ok," just something to keep in mind for the next year or so."
"Year?" I asked confused. She nodded and led me to a mirror.
"I'll go let the others know," Caius mumbled. "Make sure she eats," he says as he opens the door and leaves but making sure to close it behind him.
"Eats?" I asked confused.
"Here, take a look" Bella said holding me at my shoulders but standing behind me.
I glanced at the mirror and I was stunned. More than stunned.
"I'm a shit show," I mumbled.
Bella laughed. A good hearty laugh. "Well, you're a beautiful shit show."
I really looked at myself. Well by human standards I was a knockout. My hair grew a few inches. It was already long enough. Shit. My curves were more defined. "I think I grew a few inches. I'm taller than you," I said looking at her. And I got my hair in my hands, "this was already long enough."
"I noticed. I'm envious," she smiled. "But look at your eyes."
I looked at my face and my eyes were, well, different.
"Your eyes have always been your uniqueness. This tops that," she said.
Instead of the usual red that accompanies a new vampire. I still have my ice cold blue, but with a dark purple pupil and a light purple circle surrounding it.
"The purple makes up for the lack of red, I'm assuming because of the hunter blood in you." She said.
That thought made my face contort in confusion. She noticed.
"What is it?" she asked worriedly.
I turned to face her. I still couldn't fathom it myself. "She's gone." I said.
"Who's gone?" Bella replied. It only took a moment for it to dawn on her. "The huntress."
I only nodded. "I can't feel her, or hear her, anymore." It saddened me. But I couldn't cry. "She's not with me anymore."
"Hm, whatever happened with that dagger. I'm sure is the cause of it." Bella said hugging me.
"The dagger," I mumbled, letting Bella go. I suddenly felt a rage I've never known. It all came back to me slowly, well slow for a vampire. Which means within a few seconds, all my memories came back.
"Bella, Crowley, he, Jasper. Jane, Demetri, they, they," I heaved and heaved. I felt a burn. In the back of my throat.
"Easy, Ember, easy. We need to get you fed. Then we'll discuss everything, I promise." She said, taking my hand to calm me. I looked at her and felt her calmness. "Ok. Ok," I said more to myself than her.
The next thing I knew she opened the sliding door, and we ran away from the house. I don't know how far she took me, but far enough.
"Ok, first things first. Animal or human." She asked, smirking.
Once she asked that question the burn in my throat was almost too much to bear. My hands flew to my throat, trying to caress it.
"Easy," Bella whispered.
I thought back to Jasper. How I've always stood by his choice to back to human blood. As long as he knew what he was doing. And he did. So I knew my choice, "Human."
As soon as I said that there was a knock on the door. I knew those scents, so I stayed calm.
"Come in," Bella said.
In walked Felix. "I can help her with this," he said.
Bella looked back at me, and I nodded to her to let her know it's ok. She smiled and patted my shoulder. She left and Felix approached me.
"Usually I, Demetri, Jane and Alec take on the newborns with this endeavor." I noticed how his shoulders fell as he said their names.
I swallowed to pacify the burn, to walk and put my hand on his shoulder. He looked up at me. "We will get them back. That I promise you Felix. I wasn't given this second chance for nothing."
He looked in my eyes and stood up straighter. He went and slid the door open," let's get you fed." And we were off.
We were back in less than two hours.
I felt strong. Taking down an unwanted criminal was not what I pictured for myself. I've seen Jasper do it. But it's a whole other ballgame when you do it yourself. Felix and I walked into the group standing around in the Cullen living room planning.
"Well you may be the picture of perfection my dear, but you're still a newborn through and through," Aro chuckled, his eyes taking less than a second to scan me.
I looked down at myself and sighed. Covered in blood. "Yeah yeah, stuff it you ancient…"
"December!" Esme chided.
A few chuckles went around as I left to shower and change. Bella saying that she left me some clothes on her bed.
I quickly showered and changed and made my way back to the living room.
"Well we have our plan in place, but we need to find out where he is. My guess he's held them up all in one place. It's too risky to have them spread out, he knows that." Mumbled Edward.
I was keeping tabs of their conversation while showering, so I knew what they had planned. Seeing as how Crowley had Jane and Alec, the element of surprise for powers was out so brute force is what we have.
"I don't know how to find them though," Carlisle mumbled. We started to think.
"December, you know him best. You know the strongholds, can you think of anywhere he might be?" Marcus asked.
"With my huntress powers I had a direct link to the guilds, but now…. But now…" I couldn't finish. It hit me, that, I was no longer the huntress. Her spirit inside me was gone. All I've known, all I was, is gone, forever.
Just then, I felt someone put their arms around me. I shook my head and looked down. Renesmee was giving me a hug.
"Oh, I've missed those," I said kneeling down and hugging her in return.
"Welcome back Auntie," she said tearing up. She let go and looked right at me, "We'll get uncle Jasper back. I promise."
"Of course we will." I said. A new determination building within me. I stood up. "I was not given this second chance just to waste it." I said thinking of ways to find Crowley. My mind was going a thousand miles a second. "Everywhere he as a guild, there's a shield over it protecting it from the outside. I don't even know what powers I have, if any in this new life." I brought my hands up and looked at them and made fists. It took a moment, but I had a thought. "Bella you're a shield right?" She nodded. "What if I can use your shield in reverse?"
"What do you mean?" she asked coming up to me. Renesmee moved to the side to let her mom through.
"What if I can somehow tap into old magic and use your shield to break down theirs? Even if it's just for a moment to let me see where they're at?" I said.
"Ember, use your link to find the Major," Marcus said.
I looked up at him.
"Hold hands with Bella, use her shield along with your link to the Major, you should be able to find him if you concentrate enough. Once mated, mated pairs can locate each other no matter where or how far apart they are. Use your heart." He finished.
"My unbeating heart," I mumbled.
"You know what mean child," Marcus chuckled.
I looked at Bella and she nodded. We both sat on the floor while the others spread out giving us room.
"Ok, I have no idea how to do this," I said taking her hands.
"Just do what you did when you meditated. Only you're finding someone, not centering yourself. Put everything out, not in," she said. Made sense.
I nodded to her, and we both closed our eyes. I concentrated on bringing her shield to me but pushing my link to find Jasper out. It took a moment, but I was finally able to do it. I searched and searched. Minutes flew by, and I felt it. A flicker. "I feel him," I mumbled. I continued to search the area in my mind.
"Where?" asked Aro.
"Shhh," Caius said nudging Aro's shoulder. It would be funny if not for the situation.
Another few minutes and my eyes shot open.
"Motherfucker!" I seethed standing up in a split second. I hadn't realized I still held Bella's hand which I lurched a bit. "Sorry Bella," I said patting her hand. She said she was ok.
"What? What happened?" Caius said coming to my side.
"He's where I started."
"What?" they asked. Bella caught on right away.
"Your cabin." She whispered.
Everyone looked confused.
"When I first moved here, Crowley set up a cabin outside of town for me to stay while I was on my mission here. That's where he is." I started heading for the door.
"But a cabin? That couldn't hold much," Emmet whispered as we all headed out.
"No," I said, "but underneath an inconspicuous cabin, is plenty of room to build an underground guild. It was always locked when I stayed there, until now."
"I'm coming too," Renesmee said as we headed out. All of us stopped and stared at each other.
"Who's going to stay with the child," Caius remarked.
No one said a word.
"I'm coming too!" Renesmee said, staring at Bella and Edward. Side glancing me as well.
"It's best if you stay my love," Bella said kneeling to be at-level with her daughter.
"She's right honey," Edward kneeling as well.
"If something were to happen to you as well, we couldn't handle that," Bella said gesturing to herself and Edward, including me as well in the gesture. I nodded.
"We will stay," came a voice from behind the kings. It was Rose.
"Rose?" Emmett asked beside her. She looked up at him and he understood immediately, although he didn't like staying behind when there was a fight to be had. He didn't look away from Rose before, "give them hell December," he then looked at me, "for all of us."
Renesmee sighed but she understood as she went and stood with Rose and Emmett.
I smiled at them, "that's a promise I'll carry out personally Emmett." I nodded to Rose. Then we were off.
****Third Person POV****
The group made their way to the cabin. They stopped just outside of it. Bella had her shield around everyone, so as not to make sound.
"How are we to approach this?" Edward asked.
"I don't have knowledge of the space below. Not all guilds are the same.
"Shh, listen," Alice said as she closed her eyes.
The group listened and they heard different voices.
"There's a bunch of clinking, like glass." Mumbled Bella.
December's eyes shot open, "ah hell, fuck that," she said as she barged in, located the cell lock and busted through it.
"What the hell Ember?" seethed Bella.
December looked back and mouthed 'needles' and took off. Bella understood and followed along with the others.
After about two minutes, December located them, on the other side of the wall. She didn't need much motivation and blasted through the wall with her power. Something leftover from the huntress she figured. She walked through.
****December POV****
"The only monster you need to fear Crowley, is me." I said as I stepped through the rubble. I can clearly hear my comrades taking care of the guards. I have time.
Crowley's face would be hilarious, if it wasn't for the situation.
"You should be dead," he said harshly. But there was evident fear in his eyes.
"Oh, I did die. A very painful death." I stated making my way around his table noting all the chemicals. I was keeping a close eye on Jasper and Demetri, both had eyed me giving me their 'ok'. So I wanted to play.
He made a slight jerk with the needle he had in his hand and I was over in a split second grabbing it.
"You will hand that over now Crowley," I seethed. He was stronger than he looked.
"You will make sure to die this time," he grunted thrusting away from me and kicking me back into the table, breaking everything that was on it.
"You bastard!" Jasper yelled as he grabbed Crowley by the neck and Demetri had grabbed Crowley's arms and pinned them behind him, making Crowley drop the needle and it rolled away.
"How the hell?" Crowley tried to say but Jasper started pressing his hold tighter.
"Stop," I said as I came to stand by Jasper's side.
Jasper did stop but the two vampire men still held Crowley tight.
Crowley looked at me and his eyes went wide. I know what he was looking at, my eyes.
"You've turned." He spat.
"Not by choice. It was your fault. It was always, your fault." I stated glaring at him.
"What do you mean, my fault! You went and got yourself bitten you bitch." He continued to glare. Then he screamed.
"I have other fingers and such to break one by one if you disrespect her more you bastard," Demetri stated angrily.
"Demetri, bring him over here," I sighed getting a chair. Demetri and Jasper put him in the chair but they kept a hold of him.
"It's ok, let him go," I stated and they did. Slowly. Crowley tried to move, but found he couldn't. I didn't know if this would work, but glad it did. Seems the huntress left me some surprises. I smiled. And Demetri and Jasper stood on either side of him, just in case.
"Care to correct me if I'm wrong," I say glancing at Crowley, "my father was a hunter, he was under your tutelage for years. He met my mother, continued his mission regardless. He and my mother had me and he decided to retire, leaving you with no hunter. He went into hiding with his family because you wouldn't leave him alone. That day you and I met; you knew. You caused the crash that took my parents away from me. You've trained me to be a killer. What fucked you up was when I became destined to be with a vampire. You did a forbidden ritual to kill a hunter. You thought I was dead when you stabbed me with my knife. Because you thought me sick and weakened enough by then. Oh! And for a bonus, you snatched said destined vampire and his friends to experiment on. What you didn't count on also, was this vampire bit me and go figure, he would be the one to be able to turn me, though you thought I couldn't." I turned on him then, "did I leave anything out?"
"You and your father are nothing but disappointments. It's just best to get rid of all of you and save this nonsense!" Crowley spat.
"What still gets me, is he had your dad. How did he know you would get the huntress magic?" Jasper mumbled.
"Passed down through family?" asked Demetri.
"So where did the magic go when you died?" Jasper asked me.
I looked at Crowley and he was strangely quiet.
"Crowley, you know where the magic went." I said getting in his face.
He visibly gulped. But he did not say a word.
"Crowley, tell me. Where did it go?" I yelled.
He still did not say a word. I backed off and started pacing. I knew torture wasn't going to work. I paced and saw a flash of light. I noted the syringe on the floor. An idea came to me. I went to pick it up at a human pace so he would see me.
"Now, I wonder what this would do to you," I said taking it and pushing a bit and saw some fluid squirt out.
"December put that away," Crowley said. Like I would listen to him. That's comical.
"Now, I wouldn't put this just anywhere." I said walking to him and making like I was going to put it in his neck.
"December, think about what you're doing!" he said and tried to move but he couldn't.
"Tell me where the magic went," I said.
He still didn't budge.
"I'll still give this to you, for the torture you put me and my love, and my friends through, but depending on your answer, is where it will go." I said.
"Fuck you!" he spat in my face.
I sighed, "ok" and began to go to his eye. "All's fair right?" I asked, looking between Demetri and Jasper. They both nodded.
"No, no, you can't!" Crowley yelled as the needle penetrated his eye. You could hear the gushing as I inserted it slowly and all the way in. The needle was a good three inches. His scream reverberated along the walls. I inserted the liquid and slowly brought it out.
"Now, the magic." I said.
"We can answer that December." Came a voice. Myself, Demetri and Jasper turned where the hole I made was and saw the group standing there. Alice immediately went to Demetri and cuddled. They murmured sweet nothings to each other.
I looked back at the group and noticed a new edition. The boy looked about twelve years old. Red hair, ice blue eyes, that held something in them.
"Hunter." I stated.
"December," the voice said. I wanted to cry, but I resolved myself. I went to him.
"Stay away from him! Nathan go get help!" Crowley garbled. I noticed he was frothing at the mouth. Not good. But I looked back at the boy.
"Nathan. What's your last name by chance?" I asked him.
"Skye. The older man said I'm your nephew. That your dad was my uncle. My mother was his sister." Nathan said, trying not to cry.
"Well, if that's the case, you're family. I know you've been through hell. I promise to take care of you." I said, grabbing his hand.
"You bitch, you'll regret this," Crowley garbled. I looked at him and he started bloating up.
"I don't think anyone wants to stick around for this. Let's go." I said as I lifted Nathan in my arms and took off.
Once we were all safely away from the cabin, you could hear an explosive sound underground.
"That's just, gross." Edward said as he held Bella close.
"Did you leave anyone alive?" I asked looking around. I saw Jane with Alec, in one piece, good.
"Not one. They all wanted to fight with knowledge in their eyes. They knew what they were doing." Caius said nodding to Aro and Marcus for confirmation.
"Pity." I sighed.
I looked at Nathan and he was crying. Nodding that he was happy when I asked if he was ok. I held him close.
"Let's go home."
until next time lovelies
