After the boom tube was opened, Brainiseid's forces stormed through it.
"Looks like Brainiseid decided to attack early," said Bruce as everyone watched the attack from monitors set up in the warehouse.
"We have to get out there," said Clark.
"Right," said Bruce. Meanwhile, Deadshot was shooting at some police cars.
"Is this all Metropolis PD has?" asked Deadshot as he shot lasers at the cop cars, causing them to explode.
"Never thought you would work for an alien trying to destroy the world," said Batman as he landed on top of a parked car.
"I can't go against my master," said Deadshot before shooting at Batman.
"Something's not right here," said Batman as he hid behind another car. As he was fighting Deadshot. Nightwing and Flamebird were going against Bain.
"Just how strong is that new Venom?" thought Nightwing.
"According to the probe I placed on his neck it has isolated Kryptonian DNA in it," said Flamebird as she looked at a computer mounted on her arm. The two were able to communicate through telepathy.
"Then maybe some Kryptonite can hurt him, put your helmet on," thought Nightwing before pressing a button on his neck. Flamebird did as he had and once their helmets were on Nightwing took a piece of green Kryptonite from his belt.
"What… what is happening?" asked Bain as he struggled to stand.
"Looks like Brainiseid had no clue about Kryptonite's effects on Kryptonians," said Flamebird before cutting the cables that led into Bain's body. Back with Batman and Deadshot.
"So, how much is Brainiseid paying you for this?" asked Batman.
"Nothing, I'm doing this for him," said Deadshot before blasting the car.
"That doesn't sound like you," said Batman before throwing a batarang at Deadshot that stuck to his chest.
"Was that supposed to... ?" asked Deadshot before the batarang tazed him.
"Just as I thought," said Batman as he scanned Deadshot's brain, getting the image of a microchip in it.
"The villains working with Brainiseid have microchips in their brains, they are being controlled by him," said Batman over coms.
