Hey I'm back! Thanks for your reviews! Thank you also for all your well wishes. Tawnya, my fiancee, and I are grateful.

Anyway, sorry this is so short, but I was having trouble fitting it in the next chapter, so I put it alone.

The next chapter is my first Quidditch match, and is in final editting.

As always...

Enjoy!

Dinner two days later found the two mages just leaving the Gryffindore table, talking with Harry, Ron and Hermione. Neville had gone to the library with Draco, Daphnae, and Tracey to help them with Herbology.

"Flint hasn't given you any trouble has he Nanoha?" Harry asked, as they walked.

Nanoha shook her head even as she picked up a few of Flint's friends coming through the doors with her Spacial Awareness. "No. I think he learned his lesson the day before. He will still be able to play this weekend though."

"And you?" Ron asked, "How're you doing?"

Nanoha sighed. "Physically I am fine, but I am still magically drained."

Fate sighed as the four hulking boys, Higgs, Pucey, Montague, and Nott, Fate remembered from the Quidditch Team, approached the five. Using the Wizard Buster against the troll had set Nanoha's recovery back untill the summer. Fate realized in hind sight that she could have helped Nanoha fight it off by using her own magic to match Nanoha's stregnth, but everything had happened too fast.

She was just grateful that Nanoha hadn't made her core even worse.

Higgs spoke. "Takamachi, did you really tell Flint that anyone could mess with you as long as they don't mess with your friends?"

Nanoha blinked as the Great Hall got quiet.

"Careful Nanoha," Fate thought.

"I know Fate; be ready."

Fate smiled inwardly. "Always."

"Yes," the auburn haired mage said.

Thier thoughts were comfirmed as the four drew thier wands.

Fate stepped between them.

"I will not let you touch her," Fate growled.

"Like you can do anything blondy," Higgs laughed.

Fate simply drew her own wand, the sapphire encrusted gold band in stark contrast to the black wood that nearly bended in with her black cloak.

"Fine," Higgs sneered. "Stupefy!"

As the three other Quidditch players followed suit, Fate and Nanoha dodged to the side of the red bolts, bringing their friends with them.

Fate aimed her own Black and White Ebony wand. "Flippendo Thunder!"

The blue bolt, crackling with yellow lightning struck Higgs dead center, knocking him against the wall and out for the count, leaving the three others in a reverse, loose triangle.

"BITCH!" Montague screamed, he, Pucey and Nott firing at her.

"They're week in hand -to-hand," Nanoha reminded her as she got Harry, Ron, and Hermione behind her.

"Shouldn't we help her," Harry asked as Fate danced to the side, dodging the red spells.

Nanoha shook her head. "Watch." Pushing off the floor Fate rushed them in a dead sprint palms raised. These people tried to attack her sister, her Savior, while she was recovering; Fate would not let that go unpunished.

The blonde mage's voice filled the air as she focused her anger into two words: "Thunder Fist!"

Yellow Lightning crackled over her palms, filling the air with the distinct smell of ozone. Her hair began to rise, electric sparks running between the strands.

The sight of the blonde haired electrified mage rushing them with palms of lightning caused the screaming boys to back pedal in fear, but it was too late.

Fate struck, catching the first two in the gut, sending light, electrical sparks dancing over thier bodys, before barrelling through and catching the last in the same place.

The three boys spasmed before dropping.

Fate closed her palms, returning to normal, other than her hair, which had gone frizzy.

Nanoha hugged her friend. "Arigato Fate."

Fate looked at her. "Welcome."

Harry, Ron, Hermione, and every other member of Gryffindore, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw had one thought: "We're screwed."

See ya next time.
