Chapter 38: Together Again

Bumblebee and Altair Comet are on their way to the planet Quintessa, which was actually named after the Quintessons' mistress, Quintessa herself. She is the creation/daughter of Quintus Prime, who is one of the Original Thirteen Primes. After, the defeat of The Fallen, the rest of the surviving Primes went their separate ways. They remember what their father, Optimus told them that Quintus went to an unnamed planet and decided to create his own citizens here that's how the Quintessons were created.

Quintus Prime decided that he should have a child to carry on his legacy as he created Quintessa as his daughter, but over time when she has grown a young adult after she learned about Cybertron and believed that she and Quintessons are superior and they should rule Cybertron, but Quintus Prime disagrees this which caused Quintessa to plot to kill him. She did commit patricide on her own creator/father.

She was also responsible for killing their paternal grandparents (Optimus Prime's parents) to keep their son safe and have Alpha Trion to be his guardian. When their father became a young adult and was the data clerk, "Orion Pax" Quintessons returned and attempted to reclaim Cybertron. Alpha Trion reveals his secret about their father's parents being Solarguard and Aquila Theta/Thetas Prime, their father overcome his fear of his parents' murderer as he defeated the Quintessons with help from their mother when she was Ariel, Megatron when he was Megatronus, and their friends.

Bumblebee thinks back to when he was reunited with his younger sister on Earth.

(Flashback)

Bumblebee, Arcee, Bulkhead, and Smokescreen are back at the camp with Jack and Miko along with Barricade when they got a call from Orion Eclipse that he and Megatron apprehended Overload and the mysterious femme is safe and comes with them.

"I wonder who's this mystery femme that Barricade and Overload are after?" Bulkhead asked "Beats me, it could just be a femme they trying to capture and hold her prison" Smokescreen suggested "Or maybe a femme that we know, but haven't seen her in years," Bumblebee added as Orion Eclipse and Megatron arrived dragging the unconscious Overload by the arms "Where's the femme?" Arcee asked "Right behind us" Megatron answered as Altair Comet appeared, which caused the Autobots to be shocked "No, it can't be," Bulkhead said "How's this possible?" Arcee wondered "Yeah," Smokescreen said as Bumblebee is the most shocked one when he saw his adopted sister "Altair? Is that really you?" Bumblebee said as he slowly approaches her "Yes, it's me" Altair said with a smile as Bumblebee smiles back as they hugged each other with tears of joy.

"I thought I'll never see you again" Bumblebee said in a cracked voice "Me neither" she replied in a cracked voice too as she realized that her adopted brother had his voice back "Wait a minute, you have your voice back! How?" she asked "It's a long story," he said, "I'll tell when we get back to Cybertron."

(Flashback ends)

Bumblebee sadly sighs at that memory, he was glad that he was reunited with his sister, but his mother is still out there in the galaxy. Altair saw Bumblebee's sad face and wondered what was wrong with him "Is something wrong, Big Brother Bee?" She asked. Altair always call him "Big Brother Bee" when they were kids. "I just miss Mom, Baby sis" he replied "And I'm just afraid that I'll lose her and never see her again, just with you and Dad" Bumblebee explained as he referred to Optimus Prime as "Dad". Altair saddens too "I miss Mom and Dad" she replied "After the battle of Tyger Pax, after Megatron crushed your voice box and you nearly die if Ratchet hadn't patched you up, I was scared that I could've lost you" she explained.

Bumblebee comfortingly puts his hand on her shoulder "I know you are, but if we never get to see Mom again, we'll always have each other" he said with a comforting smile as she smiles back and they arrived at Quintessa "We're here" Altair said as Bumblebee activates the com unit on the computer in the ship "Bumblebee to Orion, come in" he said as Orion answers "Orion here, have you arrived Bumblebee?"

"Yes, I have with Altair Comet and Megatron aboard, have you freed the prisoners?" Bumblebee stated "Yes, I have and I'll send the coordinates to where you'll pick us up" Orion said as he sent the coordinates. They enter Quintessa and arrived at the coordinates where Orion sent him as everyone went onboard and they took off.

After they went off into space, he, Altair, and Megatron were surprised to see Breakdown, Cliffjumper, Dreadwing, and Skyquake as Orion explains what happened at Quintessa as they now understand. However, Bumblebee was angry that the Quintessons brought the human Silas back from the dead because of his connection with Breakdown "I can't believe those five faced freaks brought that no-good Silas back from the dead after what he had done to Breakdown, me, and Optimus!" he angrily shouted as Arcee and Knock Out calmed him down.

"Calm down, Bumblebee," Arcee said "You have every right to be angry at them just like Breakdown and I, but don't let your emotions get the best of you" Knock Out explained as Bumblebee takes a deep breath and exhales as he is now calmed "Okay, thanks guys," he said.

"Who is Silas?" Altair Comet asked "He's a human that knows our existence" Arcee answered "He's the founder and leader of MECH, a terrorist organization that goes after our biology and technology and makes them as weapons" Bulkhead explained. "He captured me and dissect me alive, though my pain receptors are off but I could hear the pain in my mind. I almost could end up dead if Bulkhead hadn't rescue me" Breakdown added.

"He also stolen my T-Cog for their secret project that I think its called "Project Chimera" I risk my metal plate to get it back, even though Starscream blasted it but Ratchet was able to repair it. Then Bulkhead and Ratchet told me that Starscream's T-Cog got stolen from MECH when he call for medical care and I feel happy that he got what he deserved." Bumblebee added as he smiled at that reference.

"Then, he made a copy of Optimus Prime and nearly killed him" Arcee added "Then his men gathered the parts of Breakdown after Airachnid killed him and used his corpse to foolishly revive him." Bulkhead stated "Not mention, attempting to kill my human friend, Raf along with Fowler, Miko, and Jack" Bumblebee added.

"Speaking of attempting, what happened to Silas anyway?" Bulkhead asked "After, Silas failed to terminate your human friends, back on the Nemesis, Megatron decided to have the human be on my dissection table, which I gleefully accepted in a way to get revenge for putting Breakdown on his dissection table and make him feel what's like to be a lab rat" Knock Out added.

"Until the whole Energon-sucking Terrorcon incident" Arcee added remembering from what Knock Out told her. After they had explained about Silas, Orion Eclipse spoke "Bumblebee, Altair, there is someone that you should meet" he said as Bumblebee and Altair got off of their seats and have Arcee take control of the ship as Orion lead them to a berth room.

Orion opens the door as Bumblebee and Altair's optics widen when they who it is; it's their mother, Elita One "Bumblebee, Altair" she said as her children rushed towards her and embrace her "Mom!" they cried as she hugs them back. After they ended their hug, she turns her attention at Bumblebee "Bumblebee...you have your voice back...how?" she asked "Let's say a miracle happened" he answered "You'll tell me all about the miracle when we get back to Cybertron" Elita said she as looks at Altair "Are Barricade and Overload still after you?" she asked "Not anymore, they are now in custody" Altair answered. Elita One sighed "Thank Primus" "There is something you need to know about Dad..." Bumblebee said until Elita interrupted "I know what happened to Optimus, Orion Eclipse has already told me what happened" she replied sadly.

Then she slowly smiles and gently puts her servos on her adopted son's head "Look at you, my little bee" she said as she nicknamed him "little bee" when he was little "You're all grown up...I haven't seen you grown up ever since your sister and I had to evacuate. You had grown up into a fine mech that your father and I knew to be" she exclaimed in a soft and proud voice as a tear came from her optic "I'm very proud of you and so your father" she said she gently pulls her son's head and kisses his forehead as tears come from his optics and hugs his adopted mother "Thanks Mom, I missed you so much" he said "Me too" she said as she pets his head and Altair joins in on the hug.

They are finally happy to be reunited with their mother.

As Ironhide, Megatron, Chromia, Bumblebee, Elita-One, and Altair Comet made their way through the Quintesson prison, they were suddenly confronted by their brainwashed comrades - Breakdown, Skyquake, Dreadwing, and Cliffjumper.

The four Decepticons charged towards them, their eyes empty and their movements mechanical. It was clear that they were no longer in control of their own actions.

A fierce battle ensued, with the Autobots fighting tooth and nail to subdue their former allies without causing them any lasting harm. But just when things seemed hopeless, Arcee and Knock Out arrived on the scene, their weapons blazing.

With their combined efforts, they were able to snap Breakdown, Skyquake, Dreadwing, and Cliffjumper out of their mind control, freeing them from the Quintessons' grasp.

But their victory was short-lived, as they soon encountered Doomsayer and his minions. The group knew they had to retreat, and quickly, if they wanted to make it off the planet alive.

As they made their way back to their spacecraft, Orion Eclipse suddenly spotted a naked human male near the Pool of Resurrection, being cornered by Doomsayer and his minions.

Without hesitation, Orion rushed to the man's aid, scooping him up and carrying him back towards the ship. The other Autobots were confused, but Orion knew that he couldn't leave the man behind.

It wasn't until they were safely inside the ship that they realized the man was none other than Leland Bishop, also known as Silas, the former leader of M.E.C.H. The Quintessons had revived him through their resurrection experiments, using his symbiotic connection with Breakdown to bring him back to life.

The revelation shocked and infuriated Breakdown and Knock Out, who remembered the evil deeds that Silas had committed before his death. But for now, they knew that they had to focus on getting off the planet before they could deal with Silas and his newfound resurrection.

The scene ended with the Autobots retreating from the planet, their Decepticon friends and human companion in tow, as they prepared to face the challenges that lay ahead.
