Chapter 62 Predator Concrete Jungle
It's been a month since the Aquatica incident with the Protein Susan made destroyed to prevent Grendel from getting his hands on it to use in his experiments for his own gains.
Fortunately Sean had taken a secondary sample and handed it to his Titan Counterpart to mass produce beyond Grendel's reach to make it into a serum that could only be used for it's primary use to stop brain disease.
Any other uses and a program inside it would destroy itself preventing Grendel from using it.
And now Sean was now in the race to be the next President of the country to make sure Luthor lost.
Now though.
Sean was on a Predator capital ship headed to one of the most dangerous planets in the galaxy.
"Remind me again. Why are we coming here?" Sean asked Wolf who chuckled.
"To pick an old acquaintance of mine and your father's. I was the one who taught him everything when it comes to battle...But Scarface was the one who taught him how to use his weapons so perfectly." Wolf said.
"So why is he here?" Sean asked.
"I'm sure you're familiar with the tragedy of what was once known as New Way City." Wolf said.
"Yeah. The whole place exploded and no one knew how. Wait a minute..." Sean said.
"Scarface was the one who detonated our last resort explosive. The events on that are more for him to say." Wolf said as they landed.
Walking off the ship they found a whole pile of dead aliens.
"Wow. This guy must be as tough as you. And your one of the Top Elites." Sean said making him chuckle.
"Scarface was once one of the most respected hunters we had. Till the incident in New Way City." Wolf said.
"And what caused him to blow it up?" Sean asked.
Only for someone to jump behind him making him pull out his Maul trying to slash at him but he dodged before aiming wrist blades at his neck but Sean blocked them and got into a dead lock seeing it was another Hunter with his left eye missing.
"Who are you to wear Micheal's armor?"
"Scarface." Wolf said getting his attention.
"Wolf." Scarface said standing down.
"It has been sometime." Wolf said.
"A century. Who is this and why do you give him Micheal's old gear. He earned his this boy..." Scarface tried to say before Sean took his mask off showing his face making him widen his eye. "Micheal?" Scarface asked.
"Close. I'm his son." Sean said.
"Ah, The Last child he had before his demise by his own brother's hand. We had searched a Century for you." Scarface said inspecting him. However what really caught his attention was seeing the skull of Darkseid on Sean's Chest. "Darkseid...You killed him?" Scarface asked surprised.
"Wasn't easy But I'm a lot stronger than my old man." Sean said.
"Why are you here?" Scarface asked.
"To offer you a chance for redemption." Wolf said.
Later
Scarface was led to a viewing chamber.
"Your actions 100 years ago have come back to haunt us." Wolf said to Scarface.
"Meaning what?" Sean asked.
"100 years ago he was hunting a mob Boss known as Bruno Borgia. He killed him but as he approached his wife and newborn son he was shot in the eye splattering his blood on them." Wolf said.
"And it's well known your kind's blood has well desired properties. Advanced healing and slower aging." Sean said.
"Exactly. And he dropped some of his weapons which they recovered and dissected them making weapons of their own." Wolf said showing video surveillance of three young bloods being attacked by unknown armed men.
The Last part showed a man who looked to be in his his late to early 20's grinning at the downed Predator before the video ended.
"You made this problem...You need to fix it. And he will go with you." Wolf said.
"Why not just ask the whole league and the pack? Why just us?" Sean asked not seeing the Logic.
"Because if word gets out these weapons were made from left over technology from a hundred years ago that led to New Way City's destruction...I could damage our alliance and possibly end it. It needs to be done with just two of you." Wolf said.
"I understand." Scarface said putting on his mask.
Days later
Both Sean and Scarface had taken down some serious gangs in the last few days and collected a fair share of trophies from the big bosses that controlled them.
Then last night they had taken down some enhanced people called the Machine men.
Now they were at the docks seeing some attractive women with heavy gear.
"Oh great. My Wife would be in paradise if she could be here." Sean said hanging upside down making Scarface chuckle. "So...How do we do this?" Sean asked.
"Our cloaking technology is being jamed we need to find the source and destroy it...Then we need to destroy this shipment containing modified tech of ours." Scarface said.
"You ever gonna tell me how in the hell they got your gear in the first place?" Sean asked.
"It's a long story. Short I let my guard down." Scarface said.
"Of course." Sean said before following a woman seeing her heading somewhere before she arrived at a garage door and recorded what she was doing.
"Open wide and say...Ah." She said as it opened up.
"Seriously? Thats your password?" Sean asked before playing it again as it opened again as two guards stepped out but didn't see them before two nooses wrapped around their necks making them gasp in shock before breaking.
The one from before was at a computer before Sean slit her throat.
"Oh Korra would hate me for this." Sean said before short circuiting everything.
"Our cloaks should work again." Scarface as they did just that.
Arriving at the shipyard they found a large ship.
"Whoa." Sean said stopping him as he got a reading. "Oh this ain't good. The Tech in there is something Luthor would want to start a war with any country." Sean said.
"Hence why it must be destroyed." Scarface said before they placed explosives at the bottom.
"That will do." Sean said as it blew up destroying everything and uncloaked the women as Mercenaries. "What the?" Sean asked.
"It would appear their appearances were just disguises to fool others...And Seduce them. Clever." Scarface.
"Oh now I know Korra would be annoyed." Sean said as they cut right through them.
The one they were after named Hongo was cornered before Scarface skinned him alive before hanging him up and roared.
After it was all done Sean was observing Baby Blew talking to her boss who from the sounds of things was clearly very pissed.
"Wait a minute. That voice." Sean said as he got behind her as she hung up and turned around.
Only for Sean to stab her with his claws.
"A shame you had to live this lifestyle. My Wife would have enjoyed your company." Sean said as she died as he and Scar jumped on a truck that was leaving.
Later
Arriving at some facility it was heavily guarded with tech that could spot them.
"Hmm." Sean said.
"Split up. I want all corners checked and see if you can spot something or someone important." Scarface.
"With pleasure." Sean said jumping down.
Moving around the place he placed mines on the walls for when things went south.
However thats when he spotted someone he hadn't seen in a couple years.
"What the?" Sean asked seeing a woman with purple hair as he ducked around the corner.
As she came out of the building Sean covered her mouth making her cries muffled as he pulled her into a dark shadow.
"Easy Princess." Sean said shocking her.
"What the?" She said turning to face him seeing him smirk. "Sean?"
"Hello...Lucretia" Sean said seeing Lucretia Borgia.
Sean and Korra knew Lucretia from a meeting ARGUS had with Borgia Industries years ago and kept in touch till the League started up.
"What are you doing here?" Lucretia asked as Scarface jumped down.
"I could ask you the same thing." Sean said. "What are you doing? You hate this kind of stuff." Sean said.
"More than you realize. I hate what my father is doing. Selling to Gangs. Giving them Tech they shouldn't have. The things he's doing in the labs. It's disgusting. I may be ambitious but not like this." Lucretia said.
"Oh. I see. Then perhaps you'd like us...To help get you out of it. In exchange my mother would no doubt...Give you a Pardon." Sean said making her look at him.
"You'll get me out of this." Lucretia asked.
"If you help us in return." Sean said.
"Fine. First of all this is only a small facility of where our tech comes from. But if you destroy it my father will have to send in his monster killers. And Believe me their tough. Their made men. They aren't living nor dead. He's gearing up fro war." Lucretia said.
"Against who?" Scarface asked.
"Anyone." Lucretia said.
"We'll destroy the facility...You get back and help us out." Sean said.
Later
Scarface had destroyed the facility and took out the first four monster killers easily before hundreds had arrived and wounded him as Hunter captured him.
What he didn't know was that Sean had followed him and set Scarface free before they rescued the remaining Youngbloods.
"Thats one problem fixed." Sean said.
"Hmm. This Lucretia, how do you know her?" Scarface asked as they left the building.
"Korra and I both know her. Her father had a contract with ARGUS which was the organization my mother was the leader of before the second invasion that placed her as the next President. We kept touch with her for years before I lost touch because of my new responsibilities. Both as Leader of the Wolf Pack and the League and Now I'm running for President since Mom threw out the old rules since she made good points about me running for it. But I know for a fact that she hates her life and once a better one. Now I know why." Sean said.
"And you're certain you can trust her?" Scarface asked.
"Batman has an old saying. Trust no one." Sean said.
"A wise policy." Scarface said.
Meanwhile
Lucretia was in her office waiting to contact Sean and Scarface.
"Do you really expect me not to know what your planning Lucretia." The Computer program known as MOTHER asked.
"What the?" Lucretia asked.
"Betraying your father. Planning to destroy the company he built from the ground up?" MOTHER asked.
"I didn't ask to be part of this. Nor do anything to these people." Lucretia said.
"Perhaps not. But nevertheless I won't let you undo it all." MOTHER said.
Down in the Labs three Modified Hunters were being released.
"What did you just do?" Lucretia asked alarmed.
"Sending in the Hybrids to finish them off. It's time we got some use out of them. You can contact them if you'd like but...I very much doubt you can." MOTHER said locking the room.
Meanwhile
Sean and Scarface were outside trying to deactivate the weather machines when they encountered one of the Hybrids known as Swift Knife.
"How disgraceful. Turning him into a weapon against his will." Scarface said before they were almost shot by another known as Long Spear.
"You handle the machines. These guys are mine." Sean said as he ran off as Sean fought against Swift knife who roared charging at him.
Sean grabbed him slamming him into the railing making him grunt as he stabbed his chest.
"I feel sorry for you guys being used like this." Sean said avoiding getting slashed before cutting off his arms making him roar in pain as Sean pulled his head and spine right out easily. (Thing is Him and Long spear are easy to kill especially the second one)
While this was going on Scarface turned almost all the weather machines till another known as Stone heart who was much bigger than most Hunters as the two fought.
Sean made his way to them encountering Long spear before killing him easily and took his head.
Stone heart and Scarface continued to fight one another before Sean shot him in the side of his head making him roar as he glared at him before retreating as they deactivated the weather machine.
"This might actually require the League and the Pack. If they're making Hybrids like that." Sean said.
"Little late." Batman said jumping down.
"Oh great." Sean said rolling his eyes.
"So...This is the Famous Dark Knight You told me of...I can see why." Scarface said eying him.
"Whats going on?" Batman asked.
"These people at Borgia Industries are experimenting on other Hunters and turning them into this." Sean said holding up their heads.
"Why?" Batman asked.
"That much is still unclear." Scarface before they got a communication alert.
"Yeah?" Sean asked.
"GET ME OUT OF HERE!" Lucretia screamed shocking them,
"Lucretia? Whats going on?" Sean asked.
"This stupid Computer is taking me somewhere. GET ME OUT OF HERE!" Lucretia yelled.
Later
The League and the Wolf Pack along with Several other Hunters had attacked Borgia Industries seeing they were making inhuman monsters for war.
Right now Sean was in some illusion room seeing it look like a church before coming face to face with Stone Heart who roared.
"Why am I not surprised?" Sean asked as they charged at each other.
Sean and Stone heart had fought with everything they had before Sean had him on his knees.
"It's a true shame they turned you into such a dishonorable monster. I'm sure the old you...Fought with Honor." Sean said taking his head off as he fell over before Scareface walked in.
"Lets go." Scarface said as they rushed off.
Arriving in the room where MOTHER was operated they saw Lucretia presented to it.
"And here you are at last, my dear, and my story's almost done. Don't you have a kiss for your Grandmama?"
"Wait what?" Sean asked looking seeing an elderly woman in some liquid container.
"Her." Scarface said snarling.
"Isabella Borgia?" Lucretia asked.
"Surprised. Care to join us boys?" Isabella asked as they came out. "Hello...Scarface." Isabella said making him snarl.
"You two know each other?" Sean asked.
"Who do you think took his eye." Isabella said.
"Ouch." Lucretia said.
"That was a hundred years ago. Theres no way you could live that long." Sean said.
"I think your forgetting the fact is the Hunters are on of the few races in the universe who can live a great amount of time. When I shot him his blood splattered on me and my son. Giving us extended life." Isabella said.
"Thats why your targeting them so you can exploit this." Lucretia said.
"I am. And even Miss Waller won't reject any proposals we have...Once we've built up our entire forces we'll mount a full on assault and take them all. And their technology and blood will be all ours." Isabella said.
"You really think your going to get away with that?" Sean asked.
"I think I can. Say hello to some old friends." Isabella said making them look seeing Xenomorphs behind them.
"Oh you gotta be fucking kidding me." Sean said.
Meanwhile
Superman fought off a group of Monster hunters before getting blasted from behind making him groan before Supergirl blasted the next one.
"None of these guys are even alive. How are they moving?" Kara asked.
"Their Organic and Machine. Borgia is making them to go to war against the Hunters." Batman said taking several down.
"Why?" Lantern asked.
"I don't know. But we need to stop them now."
Meanwhile
Sean arrived at the hive control with Lucretia who had a gun in hand.
"Destroying this should stop more from coming." Lucretia said as Sean blasted the container making it explode.
Scar roared as he killed the last Xenomorphs before the shield protecting Isabella came down.
"I can accept my death very easily. But make no mistake. Others will fill in the role that my family has created." Isabella said as he was right in front of her.
"That may be true...But they will fail. As Micheal once said many years ago. People like you always fail. You may succeed for a short time...But in the end." Scarface said stabbing her in the heart making her groan in pain as her vitals started dropping. "You always fall by your own arrogance." Scarface said as she died as Sean and Lucretia came in.
"Sorry Lucretia." Sean said.
"Don't be. I always hated everything about this business." Lucretia said.
"We have one last thing to do." Scarface said as the two ran off.
Arriving in the main lab the place was destroyed.
"What happened in here?" Sean asked as they heard a mighty roar.
Looking up they saw Hunter Borgia completely mutated with half his DNA now being that of a Hunter with their weapons.
"I look forward to adding his head to my collection." Scarface said as they chased him up top.
Arriving up top they saw the whole place was on fire.
"HEY! Ease up the building. If this thing goes tumbling down." Sean said.
"The building is heavily reinforced to prevent that sort of outcome. It won't come down unless something like a nuke hits." Batman said on the Batwing.
"Still be careful. I don't wanna take chances." Sean said as Scarface went after Hunter.
Sean joined in before coming face to face with More Monster squad hunters.
"Oh fuck." Sean said taking out his Glaive and Holy Sword charging in at them.
Hunter and Scarface fought against one another with everything they had before Hunter broke his weapon making him growl.
"You may have killed my father...But your no match for me." Hunter said.
"SCAR!" Sean yelled throwing his Holy Sword to him which he caught before slashing Hunter's chest making him roar in pain holding his wounded chest in shock.
"A weapon my former student held in his glory days. And now you will see why he was so feared because of me and Wolf." Scarface said charging at him with the intent to kill.
Sean roared as he slashed through several Monster Hunters before Wolf blasted the rest.
"This got more complicated than anticipated." Sean said.
"Indeed." Wolf said before looking up seeing Scarface facing off against Hunter before stabbing him into his statue's hand making him roar in pain.
"How the mighty have fallen. You know...You wouldn't be alive today...If it wasn't for me." Scarface said.
"What are you talking about?" Hunter demanded as Scarface removed his mask showing his face and missing eye shocking him.
"Your mother shot me when my guard was down. I never expected her to pull what Micheal would refer to as...A dirty and cheap move. But then again...Maybe it was a good thing...Cause now I have a new and unique trophy for my collection." Scarface said as Hunter whimpered as Scarface's wrist blade came out before stabbing him.
"AHHHHH!" Hunter screamed.
Walking to the top of the statue the others saw him as he held up Hunter's head dropping the body as he roared in the air for his victory.
"And now he has redeemed himself." Wolf said making Sean chuckle.
Before everyone left Scarface had painted Hunter's statue's face with his own blood with his Clan's symbol to further insult the family who humiliated him a hundred years ago.
Later
Sean sat at his office building looking at the image of Hunter's statue's face before someone walked to him.
"A congratulations are in order Mr. Kruger. For the Successful buyout of Borgia Industries. The Yutani cooperation is more than willing now to merge with Global Tech." A Yutani executive said.
"Tell Miss Yutani all of our plans go forward. With everything we've acquired from Borgia industries will be examined...And Put to good use for a true better tomorrow." Sean said making him bow as he left.
"You still need to find someone to take over the Company if you're elected into Office once the voting begins." Korra said with Junior in her arms who cooed.
"I already have." Sean said shutting his computer down.
Meanwhile
"The Boy exceeded...All expectations...He is ready." Scarface said to Wolf.
"Good. Now the last trial awaits him." Wolf said looking at a picture of the Antarctic.
Author's note: God I loved this game as a kid. I used to play the shit out of it for hours on end till the middle of the night on every level. The weapons were my favorite since they looked so cool with the Glaive in it's final form being my favorite. Now Next Chapter is gonna be another favorite game series of mine. Dino Crisis.
