Mshade656- I have Naruto holding back because I don't want his sage mode to be public knowledge nor do I want the village to know he has a good handle on Kurama's power. But at ease, I will be lifting a lot of those restrictions pretty soon!
Also, I don't know if anyone notices but I use a lot of rap lyrics in my stories. Just a fact if you didn't know that. I also used a line from one of the spider man games in this chapter. Let me know if you got it. If it helps, the line came from wolverine when talking to spiderman.

Forest of Death
Hinata and Shino were waiting at the entrance of the tower for Naruto. Hinata was tapping her foot impatiently while Shino was calm as ever. They had been waiting for 1 hour and the hyuga was now getting irritated.
"I wonder what is taking him so long?" Shino asked from his spot on the wall. "I am sure Naruto-san knew where this lost Uzumaki was and there is nobody in this forest who could defeat him. So what is taking so long?"
Hinata sighed. "I don't know, he is most likely helping someone else's team." Hinata smiled at the kindness in her boyfriend's heart. "But he better bring his ass. I wanted to set a new record on this test." Hinata kicked the wall which crumbled under her force.
Shino sweat dropped. Hinata had really changed from a shy girl to a young girl who knew what she wanted. That also meant she was a lot scarier when she wanted to be.
HInata looked out to the forest to see Naruto jumping towards them. It was then she saw some redhead clinging to his back. A part of Hinata that was Naruto's girlfriend wanted to jump to conclusions and say he was taking so long because the blonde wanted to mess around. However, the smarter side of Hinata knew her Naruto-kun wouldn't do something like that. But Hinata noticed right away that Naruto was a clone. She was the only one who could tell the difference between him and his clones.
"Mission complete." Naruto gave them a thumbs up followed by a grin. "But ran into some trouble." The clone finished in a serious tone.
"What happened?" Hinata worried something drastic might have happened.
"Orochimaru is fighting with the boss right now." Once Naruto said that. Hinata activated her tenseigan and was enveloped in a teal chakra cloak that enveloped her body along with 8 black balls forming behind her. The girl dashed off making a gust of wind blow everyone's hair back while only being a blur of teal in the dark forest.
"Well there she goes. Anyways, Back her up Shino. I've got to take Karin to a safe place."
"Roger." Shino jumped off after his speedy teammate.
"W-what was that girl c-chakra?" Karin stammered out. "That f-form she took, it's power is out of this world."
"You have no idea." Naruto turned and gave the redhead a warm smile. "Don't worry about that right now, how about we get you to safety."
"Much appreciated." Karin smiled back and held on tighter.
Without saying anything else, Naruto's body flickered to the hokage's office.
Hinata was still cloaked in a cyan chakra while blazing through the forest reaching speed close to Naruto. Shino was on one of the truth seeking orbs Hinata had transformed into a platform for the Abarame to stand on. The boy could barely hang on with how fast he was moving. If Naruto could move faster than this then he did not want to EVER get a ride from him.
Hinata was scanning the entire forest of death with her eyes looking for Naruto. Once Naruto was spotted, She headed to his direction to give him back up. But she had to stop and grab Shino who was getting left behind.
"He is just up here." Hinata dropped down off the branch to the burning forest and saw Naruto casually sitting down on the fallen log. He had cuts all over his body but she could see they were healing. There were blood stains on his body and pants. His bare chest was out to the world showing his toned upper body while his blonde hair flowed in the wind. Upon closer inspection, Hinata could see that his chakra system was in distress while Naruto seemed to be breathing heavily.
"Sup." Hinata was on Naruto in a second wrapping the blonde up in a hug. Naruto wrapped his arms around the dark haired girl in a embrace as well. Having someone worried about him still made him all warm inside. "Even though she knows how strong I am, she still worries about me."
"What happened to you! Your insides are a complete wreck right now!" Hinata smacked Naruto upside the head and it hurt a lot considering how strong she was.
"Well, I was fighting." Naruto said while scratching the back of his head.
Hinata stared blankly and smacked Naruto upside the head again. "What. Happened?" Hinata asked while giving Naruto a tenseigan enhanced stare.
"I pushed some techniques I shouldn't have while fighting Orochimaru." Hinata deactivated her chakra cloak and instead enveloped her hands in medical chakra over Naruto's body healing him in the process.
"Well no more ruff fights for you until your body heals." Hinata unsealed some bandages and wrapped him up in some bandages to stop the bleeding and cover the cuts on his body. She couldn't heal his chakra system as that was too advanced for her.
"Thank you, Hina-chan." Naruto got up and gave the girl a kiss on the lips as thanks, making the Hyuga give a beautiful smile. A smile so loving and warm. A smile so bright it outshined the sun. All this mixed with the love she held for him. Made Naruto blush.
"Well love birds, What are we going to do with team 7?" Shino questioned, and at that moment Kiba appeared with his fangs and claws visible.
"Where are they!" Kiba looked around frantically for the person who sent that snake at him. Using his claws and partner, they were able to use fang over fang to get out of the snake's gut.
Naruto got up and smiled towards the Inuzuka. "I am glad to see you worry about your teammates, but I took care of the guy."
Kiba looked towards Naruto with surprise. "Was Naruto really able to handle that terrifying enemy all by himself?" They were frozen with fear when that snake lady released some of her KI. Well he was taken away by that giant snake so he had no idea what happened. Once again he was reminded of how strong Naruto was and how weak he was. Envy and pride quickly took over. "We didn't need your help! I had the whole situation under control."
Shino did not like how Kiba was acting towards his teammate who went out of his way to come and save him along with the others. Hinata shared the same mindset and started to get fed up with Kiba. When Naruto was gone he would try to advance on her as if she would date him just because Naruto was gone.
"There is nothing wrong with saying thank you, Kiba-san." Shino told Kiba in a rather threatening way.
"Look Kiba, You don't have to thank me. I am your comrade and comrades look out for each other." Naruto's voice was tired but commanding. He was growing sick of Kiba's barking.
Kiba looked away at Naruto's words. He was right after all. But as the clan heir to the Inuzuka, Kiba had his pride as the alpha he thought of himself. "Yea you may be right, but it won't save you from the ass kicking I'm going to give you."
Naruto smiled down towards the young kid. "Your time will come. However, " The look on Naruto's face changed. "We have other matters to settle right now, involving getting your team to safety."
"What are we going to do?" Hinata asked Naruto.
"Let's find some place to rest, I could use it." Naruto picked up Sasuke and put him over his shoulder while Shino grabbed Sakura. "Let's get going, Night time will be coming soon." Naruto jumped off taking the lead while Shino was in the middle and Hinata trailing behind them all. Kiba looked at the effective team in awe. Naruto commanded them so effectively with ease, like a…Alpha. Kiba shook his head. He was the big dog around here. Not this cheetah.
Next Morning
The clearing was filled with an evil and twisted feeling. Those who were fighting in the local area stopped what they were doing and looked to see Sasuke walking from the hollow of a tree.
Hinata looked over at Sasuke, taking her eyes of Zaku who was barely staying conscious after the beating he just received from the Hyuga heiress. Hinata could feel the the dark aura coming from Sasuke and knew things were going to get ugly. She watched as Sasuke's sharingan eyes roamed all over everyone in the clearing as if searching for someone.
"Sasuke-kun! You need to go back, you can't fight in your condition!" Sakura shouted with worry. She along with Hinata had been fighting off this sound team that tried to ambush them. Hinata had easily defeated the kid named Zaku while Sakura took on Kin with a little trouble. Dosu was about to charge in and rush Sakura in an attempt to try and even the odds in his favor. However the sound genin was stopped when he felt the charka of Sasuke.
"You've got it backwards Sakura, I am in the best condition of my life. I feel good." Sasuke clenched his fist and allowed the power of the curse mark to take over him. This was the power he needed if he wanted to kill Itachi and avenge his clan. It was then he remembered why he was a ninja in the first place. "I am an avenger. I will do anything to get stronger, even if I have to give myself to the devil."
Sasuke then saw Hinata who was looking back at him with that ever calm and confident face. "You'll make the perfect test dummy." Sasuke charged Hinata with speeds she was not expecting him to have. That however didn't mean she couldn't react in time.
Hinata reacted with speeds of a seasoned warrior and easily parried the Uchiha's attack. Sasuke seeing this glared and sent chakra into his leg and went for a kick to Hinata's head. The Hyuga dropped low to the ground with elegance and delivered two quick palm thrusts to Sasuke's gut. Hinata then rose from the ground and delivered a punch to Sasuke's face, sending him back.
Sasuke got back up and spit out some blood. "Lucky shot."
The Uchiha then threw himself against the Hyuga and went for powerful punches but they were all dodged or parried only leading to him getting damaged instead which infuriated him to no end. If hand to hand didn't work he would try something else. Sasuke jumped back and flew threw hand signs for the Fire style:fireball jutsu. Hinata, seeing this was about to go through her own hand signs until she noticed something that made her smile.
Sasuke shot the Fireball much to the protest of his teammates who screamed for him to stop what he was doing. He had a grin on his face since this was the biggest Fireball he had ever made and there was no way the little Hyuga could escape this, which meant it was his win.
Sasuke along with everyone else's eyes widened when instead of the Fireball connecting with Hinata it was caught by none other than Naruto. Who didn't look too happy. Naruto's hands were covered in his snow white flames. Naruto dispersed the flames in an instant and looked rather pissed off at Sasuke and shot him a question with a dead serious tone.
"What are you doing, Sasuke?"
Sasuke snarled. "I am merely accepting my role as an avenger."
Naruto shot the boy with some KI. "I mean, why are you attacking Hinata-chan? Boy."
Everyone in the clearing damn near passed out except for Hinata and the now awake Shino. Naruto was angry and this was the first time they had seen him like this. His power was flaring like a maelstrom and clashing with the dark aura of Sasuke's curse mark. Their combined power and KI was enough to knock a regular person out.
"Just fight me!' Sasuke rushed towards Naruto who only narrowed his eyes and disappeared from Sasuke's view. Sasuke then felt the sandal of Naruto connect with his dome. He could feel his brain rattle inside his skull while white spots started to appear in his vision.
Naruto appeared back in front of Sasuke and delivered a crushing knee strike to the boy's gut. This was called Baekdu and it was a technique from the Renewal Taekwondo. It was meant to lift the opponent in the air and lead to another chain combo like it is now. Naruto seeing Sasuke was in the perfect position, got ready to launch a Blue Dragon Kick but was stopped when HInata placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Naruto-kun, You don't need to take things that far." Hinata didn't need to explain to the hokage on how Naruto killed Sasuke during the second part of the test. Naruto would surely be in deep trouble if he was to do something like that even if killing was legal in this part of the exam.
Naruto calmed himself. He got a little carried away. That could have been bad real quick. "You're right, I'm sorry."
"I forgive you Naruto-kun. You were just protecting me after all."
Naruto then turned to Sasuke who was on the ground knocked out. Sakura was over him checking him with her little medical knowledge she knew of.
"Naruto! Why did you hit him so hard?" Sakura looked up angrily at Naruto.
The blonde looked down at her with what looked like pity. Seeing Sakura go from the strongest kunoichi in the world to this little girl who was focused on a boy more than training was a sorry sight to see. Sakura was much better than she was at this age in his past life but still a far cry from being the strongest once again.
"I simply protected my teammate. Sasuke will be fine." Naruto answered Sakura before he dealt with the other problem. "Now what will we do with you guys?" Naruto turned his attention to Dosu and KIn.
"W-we just want to get out of here. Take our scroll and let us leave." Dosu rolled his scroll over to Naruto and slowly moved to pick up Zaku.
"Make haste." Naruto picked up the scroll and placed it in his pocket and watched as the sound team jumped off. He then made a slicing motion with his hand sending a sharp blade of wind out and cutting the tree clean in half. Team 9 came jumping out the falling tree.
"What was that for! You could have killed us!" Tenten yelled angrily and threw a dozen kunai at Naruto from her endless arsenal of kunai. Instead of jumping out of the way like everyone thought, The kunai simply stopped in front of Naruto before falling to the ground.
"What was that for? You could have killed me." Naruto said in a mocking tone, making Tenten irritated while Hinata giggled and Shino's shoulders slightly shook.
"Naruto, what was that just now?" Neji asked with interest, clear in his tone.
Naruto simply waved his finger as if talking to a child which he kind of was. "I can't go around telling you my secrets now can I? What kind of ninja would I be?"
Neji did not like that answer and nodded towards Lee who happily shot forward with an attack.
"Leaf Hurricane!"
Neji had his byakugan activated and looked at Naruto intensely. He watched as the same thing with Tenten's weapon happened again. Naruto took this chance to get a little pay back on Lee from the last fight. Faster than team 9 could see, Naruto delivered a spin kick to Lee's face which sent him flying back into the tree leaving him unconscious.
Neji's eyes widened and his head shot towards Lee. "W-what the hell just happened?! One second Lee was hitting that barrier of chakra and then he was sent flying!" Neji had faced Naruto many times in the past but he was always able to react to the blonde since Naruto would hold back a great amount.
"Lee!" Tenten pulled out a katana and was getting ready for battle.
"Tenten! Don't!" Neji quickly warned Tenten before she did something stupid.
"What?!" The bun haired girl retorted.
"We can't beat them." Neji looked over to the bush where team 10 was hiding. "Maybe if they helped us, but I highly doubt they would come out if they still didn't make themselves known now." Neji thought analytically, weighing the situations out in his mind and thinking of possible solutions to try and win but they all came out with team 8 winning.
"If we are done fooling around, Let's get moving." Naruto turned around and was about to jump off. He glanced back towards Neji and gave the boy a confident smile. "Don't feel discouraged Neji, You are still young and have much more room to grow into the strong and proud Hyuga I know you can be. You might even save my life one day." With his words said, Naruto disappeared in the trees with his team behind him.
Neji held his head down hiding the smile that came to his face. Hearing the kind and encouraging words of Naruto could almost bring tears of happiness to his eyes. To know someone had so much faith in him was truly heartwarming to the somewhat cold Hyuga. It was also a secret Neji kept to himself, but Naruto was an idol and someone he wished to be like in the future. "Thank you for the kind words, Naruto-sama. I shall support you on whatever path it is you take in life." Neji proclaimed in his thoughts with nothing but adoration for Naruto.
"Let's go. We have a lot of catching up to do." Neji said, but whether he was referring to the exam or his team to Naruto's. Tenten grabbed Lee from the tree trunk he was logged in and followed Neji to the next team.
Orochimaru was currently looking down at his loyal servant Kabuto Yakushi who was on a knee in front of the heavily injured Orochimaru. Once he had respectfully retreated from Naruto he had run into his old student Anko. Although he was weakened, it was still enough to overpower Anko who didn't have her curse mark which should be impossible. It just meant more testing on ways to make the curse seal much better.
"My lord, What happened to you?" Kabuto questions with curiosity and also fear at someone being able to put his master in such a condition. Kabuto knew that the Uchiha was not strong enough to leave him in this state and neither was anyone else in this forest able to do such damage to him. So it meant that there was someone in this forest out to get his Master.
Orochimaru chuckled but it was not a joke. He was rather peeved at being beaten like he was today. If he released more of his power then he would have been able to defeat that masked foe. His experience plus his power and wide range of jutsu would make the fight lean more in his favor. That only brought more questions to the table. The masked ninja seemed to be an expert in fighting as if he had years of battle under his belt and destroyed countless ninja on his path to strength. but had the body of a mere child.
"I was in a battle with a strange masked individual." Orochimaru answered the question of his servant.
"Were they someone sent by the Hokage?" Kabuto inquiried with a bit of worry. If the hokage was onto them it meant the plan could be at risk.
"Doubtful. My sensei would like to kill me himself as a way of fixing his past mistakes. This looked like someone out to kill me."
"Well that wouldn't be so strange since you have a lot of enemies." Kabuto pushed his glasses that shined in the light while a smirk crossed his face.
Orochimaru allowed a wicked smirk to come on his face. Someone as powerful as him had gained a lot of enemies over the years. "While that is true, the big thing is that this person was able to use multiple bloodlines."
This news shocked Kabuto to his core. "D-do you mean someone with a dual kekkei genkai?" Kabuto asked, wanting to make sure he heard this right. They had been trying to give people multiple bloodlines for years.
"No, he was able to use multiple bloodlines all at once. He was also able to manifest a blade of chakra on his fingertips or whole hand similar to your chakra scalpel." Orochimaru told Kabuto while recalling his fight with the masked ninja.
"That is truly something special. I assume you want me to find this person, correct?" Kabuto asked with a smirk. He was excited and wanted to get to work right away.
"I assume this won't be too hard for you?" Orochimaru challenged with his own smirk.
Forest Tower
"I see your team didn't do so bad, Kakashi. I guess they were lucky." Guy said mockingly. "But of course with my team around, Your team is doomed with failure."
Kakashi turned with a spaced out look on his face. "Did you say something?"
"Oh my God!" Guy put his hands to his head and had a mini panic attack. "Curse you, Always have to act so cool."
"Wow, If it came to looks, Sensei is clearly outclassed!" Tenten thought in her head while thinking of Kakashi.
"Guy-sensei is the coolest of them all." Lee pumped his fist and let determination flare. "Just wait Sensei! Someday I will be as cool as you!" Lee then thought back to his effortless defeat to Naruto in the forest. To be easily beaten by one blow hurt his pride more than it did him. To think the gap in their power could be so large. It was as if Naruto was doing laps in an ocean while he just took off the floaties.
"As expected, only the best made it here." Neji looked around at all the beat up competitors and noticed Naruto seemed fully healed with only dirt and grime on his still uncovered chest which had many of the girls blushing while Hinata was leaking small killing intent. Hinata was getting tired of these hussies coming for her man.
"Actually Guy, both of you are the unlucky bunch since my team has made it all the way." Kurenai said, rather cockily.
"Oh, what has got you so confident, from what I can see? Your main man Naruto is pretty ruffled up." Kakashi analyzed her team.
"Naruto is not our only form of power on the team. The others are just as deadly." Kurenai told the two jounin she was talking to in front of her.
"As if it matters. They won't be able to beat my team." Asuma said, trying to get into the conversation.
All he got for his comment was deadpan looks. It said 'shut the hell up!'. Once Asuma got the message he sunk his head and mumbled words to himself about how his team was strong as well.
Over with the genin, many were getting nervous. When people like this gathered in one spot in front of the village leader, it was never a good sign.
Naruto was taking it all in with nostalgia. It had been a while since he visited this place again. It brought back memories he had long since forgotten. He then noticed something out of the corner of his eye. It was Sasuke messing with his curse mark which made Naruto narrowed his eyes. "Once he fights, Kakashi will take him and seal it up. The only problem is that the seal was powered by Sasuke's will to use it or not. I'll trust you once again, old friend." Naruto stopped looking towards Sasuke and saw Hiruzen step up and get ready to tell the secret.
Naruto was then pulled into his mind where he was met with the snout of Kurama. The giant fox blew his hot breath right into Naruto's face. "You do know who is in the village right?" Kurama asked Naruto.
"Yes, Pervy Sage."
"And that means?"
"I can get the key to the seal and open it."
"Great! Thought you might have forgotten."
"You do know just because I open the seal to the cage doesn't mean that I will be able to use your power to the extent I was able to in the past."
"That's why we are going to train, you dofus."
"Do you really think a single month will let me be able to use your power to its full power once again." It was then a foxy grin came onto Naruto's face. "You're jealous again aren't you?" Naruto said teasingly.
Kurama got into Naruto's face and yelled. "I am not jealous! and you have been getting real smart mouth with me lately, you know that!"
Naruto just laughed at Kurama. It was just like when he had discovered KCM and the fox only wanted Naruto using his power. "Don't worry buddy, We will get back to that level in no time!"
Kurama's eyes softened. He and Naruto had really come a long way. From one wanting to kill the other and the other wanting only his power. He had watched as the blonde went from a little baby into a man and is doing it all over again.
"I've just gotta think of a way to convince Pervy Sage to give me the key?" Naruto made a thinking face while going through multiple situations. He could always just use his reverse harem jutsu on him which would surely work.
"Just make a rasengan, that will prove it right away." Kurama said like it was no big deal.
"Well I guess I could do that, but then he will wonder how I learned it since it was the fourth hokage's jutsu. I'll just reveal I know who my parents are, which will say all it needs to."
"Right! Then you come and open this damn seal."
"I'll do it Kurama, Promise." Naruto held out his fist to the giant 9 tailed fox like they always used to.
Kurama smirked down at Naruto showing his sharp teeth. "Promise."
"Yoroi Akado vs Sasuke Uchiha!"
Naruto looked over to Sasuke who grabbed his shoulder in pain. Sakura tried to tell him not to do it but it seems that Sasuke didn't want to hear it.
"Hey Naruto!" Sasuke called to Naruto before he walked off.
"What?"
"Make sure you don't lose, because you're the person I want to fight the most." Naruto watched as the Uchiha's curse mark glowed at his statement.
"That depends if you can win this match without using your sharingan." Naruto replied with a challenging smirk. He then walked off with his team up the steps while Sasuke looked at his back with a look not seen on the Uchiha's face often.
Sasuke felt as if he needed to catch up to Naruto. And it's been like that for the longest. He had been training for years to try and catch up but it was as if the gap was only growing wider and wider. But when he got a taste of the curse mark power, He was able to close the gap by a large margin if he said so himself.
Naruto watched down with a keen eye at Sasuke's battle. Sasuke had started off great and placed the older genin in an arm bar which would have broken the arm like a twig. Things turned for the worst when Yoroi started sucking his chakra out using his right hand. Sasuke tried to fight back but with the draining fight in the forest and his body in a worse state it didn't look good for him.
Things changed when Naruto saw Sasuke draw on the chakra without a problem, which meant he was willing using the power of the curse mark. Which made Naruto pissed to no end. With the help of the curse mark Sasuke easily defeated the older genin and went on to brutally beat him into unconsciousness and almost kill him if the match wasn't stopped.
Once the match was over, Naruto appeared in a gust of wind in front of Sasuke. He grabbed the boy by the neck and slammed him into the wall which cracked and almost fell to crumbs from the force of the blow. This caused all the ninja in the area to recoil in shock at seeing Naruto lash out for no reason it seemed.
"Naruto! What are you doing?!" Sakura yelled at Naruto.
"The real question is. What are you doing? Sasuke." Naruto tightened his grip on Sasuke's throat making it a little harder to breathe.
"I simply fought to win. By using any means necessary. Even if it means using this cursed power." Sasuke tried to escape from Naruto's grasp but it was tight and he couldn't escape.
"You're playing with fire kid. That thing gets control of you, it's over!" Naruto told Sasuke harshly. Trying to save his friend who seemed worse for wear right now.
"Naruto, that's enough." Kakashi put his hand on Naruto's shoulder in a tight grip as a warning to let him go.
Over to the side, Team 8 including Kurenai left from their pervious postition and appeared on the scene in battle stances ready for a fight if need be. It wasn't until Kurenai saw she was ready to fight her own comrade just because he threatened one of her students, she took notice of what she was doing.
"What am I doing? Have I become so attached to my team in such a short time that I would pull my weapon on Kakashi? My loyalty runs that deep." Kurenai thought in surprise at her actions.
Naruto cast Kakashi a cold glance out the side of his eye. The glare looked much like his father during war times.
"Do your job, I don't want to have to do something like this again." Naruto released Sasuke who fell to the ground and started coughing and gasping in order to get air back in his lungs.
Kakashi watched Naruto walk off with a sad glance. He had not gotten close to Naruto like he wanted. Having dreams of being like an older brother went out the window. Why couldn't Naruto be more like his wonderful father.
Sasuke got back off the ground and rushed towards Naruto with parts of the curse mark being activated. He was sent back to the wall when Hinata kicked him back into the wall.
"You're making it hard for me to trust you, Sasuke, in this life and the next." Naruto thought with pain in his heart. His friend seemed to be falling into the darkness that claimed him in the past life.
