Everyone was watching as Shino had Zaku in a pinch. Shino had just taken a compressed blast of wind point blank. Many thought this would be the end of Shino but were surprised when Shino was unaffected and only had dirt on his clothes. Shino then proceeded to unleash bugs from his body and freak everyone out at the creepy show. When everyone thought Zaku would just blow the bugs away, they saw an army of small insects crawl from the ground. The bugs would have sucked out the chakra from Zaku in less than a minute plus faced Shino who was standing in front of him calm like a river.
"Don't underestimate me!" Zaku held up his palm towards Shino and flexed his arm ready to blast Shino with many wind waves. He then pulled his other arm from the sling and aimed it towards the bugs. The pain was almost unbearable and Zaku gritted his teeth in an attempt to ease the pain he was feeling.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Shino told Zaku calmly.
"Always have an ace up your sleeve. That's what you said right." Zaku grinned madliy at Shino. Zaku then fired the chakra he was sending to his arms.
BOOM!
All the people in the arena looked down in shock at the explosion of blood that came from the two fighters. It was revealed to be Zaku who had no arms.
The boy then let out a ear piercing scream which sounded like nails on a chalkboard. A pool of blood began to form at the bottom of the boy's feet. Zaku fell to his knee and tried to cradle his missing limbs but failed due to having no arms.
"Didn't I tell you to give up?" Shino's tone was blank and gave nothing away. Shino had killed before and a little blood would not scare him. In many others eyes, what Shino is doing seemed kind of cruel and unsightly but this is what ninja's do and Shino had long since accepted that fact of the ninja lifestyle.
"Kurenai! What the hell are you teaching these kids?" Asuma asked a little surprised and worried for his team's safety if they had to fight someone from team 8. The other jounin sensei also looked at Kurenai in shock.
"I am teaching them how to be ninja's, If your kids get afraid of something as lost arms then you obviously haven't been doing a good job." Kurenai said in a cold and stern tone. Many of the kids had pale faces and wanted to throw up while Naruto and Hinata were unaffected by the scene. The sight of the two kids not showing any outward reaction to this served as a hard blow to the pride of the jounin's and genin.
"Well maybe we should be training with your team." Asuma said jokingly.
"Asuma-sensei! You don't really expect us to train with them do you?!" Ino asked, a little horrified at the situation. To train with a freak like Shino, A gentle but fierce Hyuga, and her amazing Naruto-kun. Only the last part sounded good to Ino.
"Look, Kurenai is right." Asuma said to his team which all made them look at him in shock. "I have been your sensei for 6 months but you guys have yet to take a single life. While Kurenai's team looks as if they had killed hundreds already." Asuma told them seriously.
"S-sensei, Are you saying they killed over a hundred people?" Choji asked not eating his chips for once.
"T-there's no way, only a monster would kill a hundred people!" Ino shouted in disbelief.
Ino's shout caused Naruto to flinch at the words he had received as a child. When he was pushed away from stores and casted hate filled glares. It was memories of his hellish childhood, from this life and the past life. Naruto wouldn't have thought that one of his friends would call him a monster.
Hinata saw and heard everything. At first she wanted to punch the Yamanaka in the face for saying such unsympathetic words out loud and not caring for who they might offend. But she gently grabbed Naruto's hand and gave him a gentle smile in an attempt to try and comfort the boy who was no doubt having memories of a worse time.
"You're not a monster." Hinata told Naruto in a soft tone so only he could hear.
"Thank you." Naruto held Hinata's hand lovingly and gave the Hyuga a smile that made her heart flutter.
Kurenai looked at Ino with anger and had to fight the urge to place her in a genjutsu that would leave her in a coma for 3 days. Her ruby eyes that burned with a woman's fury then shifted to Asuma, her secret boyfriend. "You should really wake your students up to the reality we live in."
Asuma sighed in exaggeration. "Ino, that was really uncalled for. But Kurenai is right, When I was your age I had already killed plenty of people and my dad has killed more people then I have. So could you just imagine what his kill count is after so many years of being hokage?" Asuma lectured his student and all the other kids who were listening. This match served as a great wake up call to the still fresh genin.
"Winner! Shino Abarame!" Hayte announced to everyone while calling medics to come and pick up the dead body of Zaku, who had passed out from the pain and soon bleed out.
"Way to go, Shino." Naruto said and gave his comrade a fist bump.
"It was nothing." Shino replied and stood next to his team.
Naruto watched the matches that played out. Kankuro one just like he remembered by hiding inside the bandage wrap and controlling the puppet from a safe place. This allowed Kankuro to wrap his puppet around the fake leaf ninja.
It was then Sakura faced Ino. Things went different from last time. Instead of being a disappointment to kunoichi around the world, Sakura managed to knock Ino out in one punch with her amazing strength she had learned with the help of Naruto. This, along with the speed that far outclassed anything Ino could handle, resulted in her being hit with a massive blow to the jaw which knocked Ino out in a second.
It was then Tenten's match came, It went just like it did in the past with Tenten not having a chance in hell since she was a one trick pony with only being able to launch long range weapons. Seeing Temari use wind style made him want to try and use his own wind style some more. Naruto hasn't been using it since he was so fascinated by his white fire and being able to use all bloodlines kind of made him forget about wind style.
Temari was about to let Tenten fall on her fan like last time, but Naruto would not let the bun haired girl suffer anymore. Naruto moved and grabbed Tenten and placed the girl over his shoulder instead of falling and injuring her back. Naruto was standing on top of Temari's fan without even wiggling, showing his incredible balance.
"No need to embarrass her any further. The match is done" Naruto told Temari sternly while giving her a serious gaze which seemed to make his cerulean eyes glow intensely.
For some reason, Temari felt as if she was just given an order by a kage and not a genin. There was something about the boy that just seemed to be giving off the aura of somebody above everyone else and some kind of higher-being. Temari resisted the urge to bow and apologize but settled on a shaky nod, not trusting her voice.
Naruto jumped off her fan, allowing Temari to walk away and thanking god that the invasion was called off. Because if she had to face that boy, Temari was not sure if she could win let alone escape undamaged.
Naruto appeared on the arena balcony and laid the injured girl down in front of her sensei.
"Naruto-kun! Your flames of youth have only burned brighter from last time!" Might Guy shouted with tears and a shaking fist. The compassion Naruto had for his comrades really got him going and he just had to spread it.
"It was nothing, Just helping out a comrade." Naruto told the sensei to team 9. He then looked over to Hinata and waved her over.
"Don't worry, I'll heal her in no time." Hinata said, already knowing what Naruto was going to ask of her.
"That's why you're the best!" Naruto gave HInata a smile and thumbs up.
"Yea, I know." Hinata answered accepting the praze with a puffed out chest and high chin. The young Hyuga had really come far from being a shy girl who could barely talk to him. Hinata had really come far.
"Next up, Naruto Uzumaki versus Kiba Inuzuka!" Hayate yelled. "Can the two fighters make their way to the ground."
"Well would you look at that! There is no way we can lose going against him!" Kiba shouted out in excitement with arrogance in his tone. He had been waiting for a fair fight with this guy.
"My time to shine." Naruto smirked from the balcony. Although his body was heavily damaged and on the verge of collapsing, he was still strong enough to take out Kiba.
"Don't over do it, you need to take it easy." Hinata told Naruto seriously.
"Don't sweat it, I got everything under control." Naruto disappeared from everyone's view in a silent body flicker to the ground. He moved swiftly without making a sound, like a mouse in the night.
"So fast." Kakashi thought in amazement.
"Damn, he's fast and silent." Asuma praised Naruto in his mind.
"He seems to be faster than the last time I saw him." Kurenai said with wide eyes, but then smiled a second later.
"Are you saying he was already this fast 3 months ago?" Asuma asked with his cigarette almost falling out his mouth.
Kurenai didn't answer and only smirked down at Naruto. All eyes were on him. Many were curious as to where he disappeared to 3 months ago.
"This will be a good chance to measure his skills since I have not been able to gather anything on him." Hiruzen thought while looking at Naruto with sharp eyes. He would not miss this battle for anything.
"Let's see what the jinchuriki can do, this will be a good chance to test his threat level." Orochimaru thought while making sure to watch closely.
"I've waited years for this." Kiba slammed his fist together while giving Naruto a fanged grin. "I'm gonna kick your ass so bad they won't be able to recognize you!"
Naruto chuckled humorously. He then straightened his back and exuded a large amount of confidence, shining brighter than any star to exist in this world. Naruto then got into a stance which was strong and solid.
"Ohh, he's using that." Hinata said in interest while looking on with curiosity.
"I wonder why?" Shino said, also wondering why Naruto is using Kyokushin Karate. It was known to his team that Naruto preferred to use Renewal.
"He knows more than one style?" Kakashi asked. He had returned after his run in with Orochimaru and sealing up Sasuke's curse mark.
"Yes. Naruto is a master of 2 fighting styles." Kurenai told them all with pride in her student.
"Wow, that's amazing." Sakura said in amazement. The girl knew Naruto was very talented from an early age when he instructed her to learn medical ninjutsu. Sakura often saw Naruto running around the village with Rock Lee and his crazy sensei.
"To have master 2 fighting style at such a young age should not be possible, but from the day Naruto was born he was a walking impossibility. I wonder how he would stack up against Sasuke." Kakashi pondered internally. His prized student versus Kurenai's best. That would be a match of the ages.
"I hope you are not all bark and no bite. A real ninja allows his strength to speak for himself." Naruto lectured Kiba like an old man talking to his young pupil.
"I don't need your words! Just bring it!" Kiba placed his hands together in a ram sign. Kiba got on all fours and his nails grew to claws and his voice became more beastly.
Kiba dashed off with great speeds and went for an elbow strike to Naruto's chest but was angered when Naruto caught his elbow with ease, not even moving an inch.
"Attack faster." Naruto grabbed the elbow and pulled Kiba into a knee strike before he was hit with upper cut and sent back to his starting spot.
"He did all that in seconds." Kakashi said to himself in amazement at the blondes speed.
"Woah! What happened?!" Choji asked looking wide eyed. One moment Kiba was gone from his spot and the next he was being sent back in pain.
"Naruto delivered two attacks which sent Kiba back." Asuma answered the question of his student.
"Two attacks that quick? Impossible." Sakura waved off the comment of Asuma who was a jounin and able to see Naruto move in those split seconds.
Kiba rolled on the ground before he sunk his claws into the ground and stopped himself, causing a path in the ground from his extended nails digging into the ground. Kiba then snarled like a beast, glaring daggers at Naruto who only looked on calmly.
This was the same thing that happened when they were kids, Kiba would not be embarrassed once again. He trained for years putting his blood sweat and tears into his training. There was no way he was going to lose to Naruto once again.
"Last time that knocked you out." Naruto raised his hands and clapped for Kiba, happy the boy had improved after all these years. "You have indeed become stronger." Naruto told Kiba heart felty.
Kiba did not see it this way and saw it as Naruto insulting him with fake praise. "Save your jokes for someone else! We are here to fight!" Kiba got up and charged Naruto with all his speed in an attempt to overwhelm the boy.
This did not work since Naruto easily dodged the attacks or parried with ease. It looked like Naruto was predicting Kiba's moves and simply stopping Kiba before he could get a combo going. It was as if Naruto knew Kiba's whole fighting style more than he did. The way Naruto would block at the right time and attack made it seem like he was the one who taught Kiba the fighting style, not allowing the boy to land any solid blows.
"You are wasting too much energy." Naruto did a spinning elbow strike to Kiba. "Your attacks are wild and lack any kind of direction or fluid motion." Naruto blocked all of Kiba's attacks with one hand and walked forward and delivered a quick punch to Kiba's face which sent him flying into the wall of the arena sending cracks throughout the wall.
"H-he's even stronger than me!" Sakura exclaimed in surprise.
"It appears so." Kakashi said lazily. But he noticed Naruto did not use chakra unlike Sakura did.
Back on the floor, Naruto narrowed his eyes at Kiba. "That is the strength of your style. It can confuse opponents, allowing you to claw them down with your razor sharp nails."
"I feel a but coming." Asuma announced with a little humor in his tone.
"But this is also a weakness to your style since anyone who is superior to you in hand to hand will easily be able to see through your movements and pick you apart." Naruto told Kiba. He knew all too well since this is how he used to fight in his past life. Which ended with him getting his offense picked apart.
"S-shut up." Kiba pulled himself from the wall and fell to the ground where Akamaru came to see if Kiba was okay.
"Why do you wish to become strong, Kiba?" Naruto questioned the boy.
"T-to become the strongest." KIba answered while panting heavily. He wiped the blood from his bleeding lip and smirked at Naruto who smiled.
"I also wish to become the strongest, a ninja legend."
"I guess that makes us rivals!" Kiba proclaimed while pointing a finger at Naruto.
Naruto laughed. "I guess it does." His face then became serious and his gaze hard. "But strength isn't all there is to life. If you seek power your whole life it will end up swallowing you whole and leaving you an empty shell."
The words of Naruto struck all the genin who were listening. Naruto's words sounded like the words of someone who had already reached the top.
"And what do you know? You are only a genin." Kiba didn't understand why Naruto was talking as if he had already reached his goal. He was only 13 and a genin.
"I know enough. If you wish to become strong it must be for something greater than yourself. You need something to keep you going. Strength comes from the need to protect something precious to you." Again, Naruto's words struck with the genin listening. Naruto's words really stuck to them like gum on the bottom of their shoe. His voice was commanding but soft and inspiring.
"Man, you just want to die for the guy." Shikamaru sighed lazily, before a smirk crossed his lips and. For some reason he felt motivated to do better and resolved himself to become stronger.
"I'm starting to see why you say he is such a good leader." Kakashi said to Kurenai who was beaming with pride at her student. Naruto's words were like that of his sensei when he would talk to them during training.
"Now, show me your will of fire!" Naruto rushed towards Kiba with speed the Inuzuka couldn't match. This ended with him taking multiple blows all over his body. He felt all his bones shake and body protested in pain. Naruto delivered a crushing blow to Kiba's side which made the boy bend over the fist and crash into the ground.
"Put your hands up and block! If you can't see me, just predict where I might show up." Naruto ordered Kiba who rose from the ground.
"He's teaching the young lad through battle, very impressive." Hiruzen thought with a smile. Naruto would make a great hokage.
"Take this!" KIba threw smoke bombs around Naruto and looked to his ninja hound and they nodded to eachothe before dashing off into the smoke.
Naruto looked around the purple smoke cloud and smiled. It seems Kiba was learning. "Now, where is the little puppy?" Naruto ducked from something aiming at his head. Naruto side-stepped and maneuvered in all kinds of positions while avoiding the dog.
The blonde grabbed the dog and threw him out the smoke right into the hands of Kiba who caught his companion.
"Wind style: Passing winds!"
"No!" Asuma shouted while almost leaping over the railing. If this boy could use wind style to such a level.
The cloud of smoke was blown away by winds going over 30mph. The purple smoke cloud cleared up to reveal Naruto and his bare chest and tattered pants.
"What are you going to do now?" Naruto asked with a smirk.
Asuma on the stands almost passed out from shock. He would have if Ino didn't slap him across the face and make him come to his senses.
Kiba cursed. He had hoped that would hold Naruto off long enough for him to think of something. "You leave me no choice." Kiba took out a pill from his pouch and gave it to Akamaru who's fur turned red.
"Kiba's going in for the kill." Kakashi watched as his student intended to finish the match.
"Ninja art: Beast Mimicry!" Akamaru, who was now on Kiba's back, turned into a clone of Kiba. "Man Beast Clone!"
"Naruto's done for now." Choji said resolutely.
"What makes you say that?" Sakura asked the fat boy.
"Those are food pills from my clan. It doubles the power of your chakra. Not to mention both KIba and Akamaru took those pills so their powers are through the roof." Choji answered his classmate.
Naruto only smiled and motioned for the two to come at him. "Show me the power that comes from protecting what's close to you."
Kiba charged Naruto with his clone. He was going to regain his pride and fight with all his might. Kiba had precious people he wanted to get strong for and protect. Like his sister, mother, team, and clan.
"You won't take me down!" Kiba fell down to the ground in hopes of smashing Naruto with one hit. It was for not, as Naruto back-flipped out the way and avoided the fatal attack.
The doubles charged Naruto and lunged with their claws ready to dig into Naruto's skin. The blonde dodged their attacks and was smiling the whole time. The Kiba's ran all on the wall and weaved in between each other trying to confuse Naruto but it was for not as Naruto stayed focused the whole fight. Naruto jumped in the air avoiding another attack from the crazed clone.
"Now we got ya!" Kiba and his clone then jumped high in the air and began to spin. "Fang Over Fang!" The two became a spinning cyclone of destruction aimed to spiral into Naruto.
Everyone looked on with worry as it seemed Naruto was at a complete disadvantage and would take the attack head on. When Naruto landed on the ground he had to quickly turn around and prepare for the attack that was making its way towards him.
Naruto laughed. "Now you've got it!" Naruto turned to the side and spread his feet. He extended his right palm towards the spinning boys coming towards him.
Kiba impacted with Naruto's hand and felt as if he had just hit a steel wall. His movements were brought to a halt in an instant.
"It was a good fight, and you have reclaimed yourself and more." Naruto told Kiba with a smirk on his face. Kiba then felt the wind pick up and the energy shift from his attack shift to Naruto. It was then a feeling of dread settled in the bottom of his stomach like rocks resting at the bottom of the ocean. Chakra and the air swirled all around the three and before anyone knew. Kiba and his clone were sent crashing into the wall and coughed out a load of blood.
This was Blue Dragon Reverse. It is a technique used to control and reflect air currents caused by the enemy's attack and release it back on them with double the power, plus the force the user puts into the attack.
Once Naruto was done he stood up and coughed and felt his lip with his hand and saw that blood was on his fingertips. "Man, I shouldn't have used that. I did more damage to myself."
"You damn right you shouldn't have. Your body is already damaged enough." Kurama complained inside of Naruto's mind. Kurama was already using his chakra to heal Naruto's body but his injuries were really serious.
"Winner, Naruto Uzumaki!" Hayate announced to the others in the room.
"He controlled the flow of the battle to perfection. Not only did he win effortlessly, he fought as if he knew what Kiba was going to do more than he did." The hokage thought about the match with a smile on his face. He was really proud of how strong Naruto had become.
"Amazing, his taijutsu is perfect. There wasn't a single time where he wasted needless energy. He knew what was going to happen and capitalized on it." Might guy commented on Naruto's martial arts. If Naruto kept at it, he would surpass him and become the best taijutsu user in the world.
"Way to go Naruto!" Sakura cheered for Naruto.
"That's my student, I taught him that!" Kurenai declared with enthusiasm, completely lying to everyone about teaching Naruto all that he knows.
Naruto jumped up to the balcony and landed next to his team. Hinata came up to him and used medical ninjutsu to try and heal his body.
"Didn't I say take it easy, why did you use that on him!" Hinata pushed a finger into Naruto's chest and looked rather annoyed.
"I just had to reward Kiba for his efforts. It would be disrespectful if I didn't." Naruto remarked with his hands in the air.
"Mmm, whatever. You really need to rest now." Hinata stated which made Naruto nod. Until he spoke up and gave her a tick mark.
"Can I have some of that magical cream?" Naruto sang out with a smile.
"It's called ointment!" Hinata snapped at Naruto for the thousandth time.
Naruto floated back like an empty bag into the arms of his sensei. "Sensei, Hinata-chan is so mean to me. I do something wrong and she goes straight to the screaming and yelling." The blonde haired boy sobbed uncontrollably while crying anime tears.
"Don't worry Naruto-kun, I'll fix you right up." Kurenai held Naruto and patted his head like a big sister while sticking her tongue out at Hinata.
The Hyuga's hand twitched and she resisted the urge to hit her sensei with a Twin Tigers Fist.
Across the balcony, Orochimaru was looking at Naruto with interest. "That boy is strong, if he is left alive he will definitely cause trouble for me in the future." The boy also felt somewhat familiar to the masked person he was fighting in the forest. There was no way this genin was that masked ninja he came across. They fought completely different from each other and Naruto had no bloodlines.
"Next match is Hinata Hyuga versus Neji Hyuga!"
This was perfect. Hinata could take her anger out on her cousin right now. Hinata turned to Neji and gave the boy a fierce grin. This made Neji gulp nervously and now found he was a little scared of his normally nice cousin.
Hinata, a little too eager, jumped over the rail and landed on the ground elegantly. "Come on bro! Get down here and fight!" Hinata barked out angrily at Neji.
Team 8 turned to the boy and bowed their heads. "Sorry for the beast we unleashed on you." They all said in sync with each other.
Neji did a quick prayer and crossed his heart hoping it was not his fate to be slan today. The brown haired boy calmly leaped over the rail and landed away from his younger cousin who looked ready to pounce on him at any second.
"I never imagined I would be facing you like this, Lady Hinata." Neji fell into the Gentle Fist stance.
"I never imagined things would turn out like this either. But I am going to come out the victor." Hinata dropped into her Flowing Fist stance.
"Begin!"
The two Hyuga dashed towards each other at great speed and exchanged in a barrage of deadly palm strikes. The stiff and firm stance of the Gentle Fist against the flexible and agile form of the Flowing Fist.
Their palms clashed sending chakra bursts all over the arena and shockwaves to be felt through the chamber. Hinata's powerful chakra was overwhelming Neji and everyone could see that. To Neji it felt like he was being hit with a mountain everytime he was struck by Hinata.
With the girl constantly moving and not staying still, it made it hard to land a hard and good hit on her. But Hinata was not having this problem as even now she was striking Neji with an onslaught of palm thrust.
Hinata connected with two palm thrust to Neji's upper body which made the boy stumble back from the force of the attack. Hinata then dropped and went for a spinning kick but Neji jumped over it and rushed the girl while she was still on the ground but was sent into the air by a rising kick from the flexible Hyuga.
Hinata tucked her hand back and charged up the chakra and got a blue glow to her hands. "Air Palms!" Hinata threw out her palms and struck Neji with two condense air waves. Neji was blasted back from the force of the attacks that caused blood to spill from the older Hyuga's lips.
Neji stumbled to his feet. That attack really hurt and he was sure that he was bruised all over. When had Hinata become so fierce? It all started because of Naruto. The boy had just come out of nowhere and swooped Hinata off her feet and completely destroyed the Hyuga clan.
"D-damn, you really are strong." Neji stammered out and fell back into his stance firmly.
"And you are also strong, don't forget that." Hinata got back into her stance and smiled at Neji. "Now let's finish where we left off."
The two rushed towards each other with their palms blazing with chakra.
And I thought I wasn't going to finish this. Now it is a little late and I apologize, i know some of you were expecting this chapter eariler during the week but i got busy with work.
But hey you got a new story which many people seem to like so far.
