Hello once again, everyone. I am back with the second chapter of my story. This one is a doozy because this one includes the OCs of my friend - Blazing-Saint, who, as I've said before, will be part of my story since my OC Team is in his story. I recommend checking it out - It's called RWBY Heroic Demons (I'll leave a leave below if it works on this website). Now, let's-a-go! (Okie-dokie).
As the airship finally landed on Campus grounds, all the students got off the huge vehicle and headed off in multiple directions, with one male blonde in particular dashing to the nearest trash can to empty out his lunch.
Lee observed the puking knight before rolling his eyes. "Pfft! Wimp." He muttered, as Vomit Boy looked up at his comment.
"Lee, do not insult him." Ryu reminded him, offering the poor boy some comfort.
"Whatever. I'm going to go do some training on my own. You can tend to Vomit boy over there if you want." He shrugged before he headed towards a field near the Campus.
"I'll be fine! Really..." The blonde knight assured, before he resumed hurling again.
At the center of Beacon Academy, Damien traversed through the grounds as he observed all the different students. "Wow, so many strong potential Huntsmen and Huntresses." However, he wasn't paying attention to his surroundings and bumped into someone in front of him before falling over. "Oof!"
"Whoa! Are you all right?" A male voice asked him, as the crimson haired lad saw an ever taller crimson-haired teen. He wore an open red overcoat jacket over a dark orange shirt, black denim jeans and a belt with a demon like dragon head belt buckle, black leather gloves and wrist guards. But perhaps the biggest features on him were a pair of scaly-dragon wings, horns, and a dragon tail.
Damien faced the mysterious Faunus, before the latter extended an arm. "I'm fine thanks. I wasn't looking where I was going." He apologized before grabbing his arm and getting up.
"Heh, no worries." The crimson Faunus nodded.
Damien examined the person in front of him, before he commented. "I have to say, you are quite an interesting Faunus. Not only that, but you seem tall enough to be mistaken for a professor."
"Really? Well thank you I suppose." The Faunus chuckled, while rubbing the back of his head. "After all, Dragon Faunus are as big as they come."
"Wait, Dragon Faunus?! Wow..." The crimson haired lad mouthed, before he remembered something. "Oh, I never asked you what your name was."
Before he come answer, they heard another voice. "Izzy, where are you?" A female voice called out, as Damien saw the girl who was freaking out about getting vomit on her shoe earlier. She had long, blonde hair and lilac eyes. She wore a light brown short-sleeved jacket, with a yellow shirt underneath, as well as a light-brown miniskirt, with brown boots. Damien also noticed she has a pair of gauntlets too, only smaller and golden. When she arrived, she noticed Damien beside Izzy and smirked. "So, who's your new friend?"
"Oh, my name is Damien Crimson." Damien introduced himself. "And who might you two be?"
"My name's Yang Xiao Long." Yang waved.
"And I am Iskandar Drakon." Iskandar nodded.
"Yang and Iskandar, eh? It's nice to meet you." Damien shook both their hands.
As Yang shook Damien's hand, she noticed the dragon-shaped gauntlet on his wrist. "Oh wow, you fight using gauntlets too? That's awesome!" She grinned.
"Yeah. Not only that, but the craftsmanship on them are impressive." Iskandar added.
"Hey thanks, what can I say? I love going up-close for my battles." Damien smiled. "After all, I'm always looking for strong opponents to hone my skills."
"Well, in that case, you and I have to brawl sometime soon." Yang smiled back.
"I would like to get in on it as well." Iskandar added. "After initiation of course..."
"Sounds good to me." Damien nodded at the offer. "I think the three of us will get along just fine."
Meanwhile, near a statue on Campus, Neos strolled by while humming a tune. As he walked, he noticed someone playing a video game on their handheld. Upon closer inspection, the teen was a young, long, brown haired Latino woman with yellow eyes, who wore a orange V neck shirt and a white jacket that stopped at the mid riff, denim jeans and Orange elbow gloves, and brown leather platform boots. The spiky-haired teen got behind the girl, before introducing himself. "What's up? I'm Neos Xanthos."
"Francesca Merdez." The gamer answered. "Can't you see I'm busy?"
"So, whatcha playing?" Neos asked.
"Pokémon GO." She replied bluntly again, before pumping her fist in the air. "Yes! I caught a Shiny Bagon!"
"Hey, way to go! How many shinies do you have right now?" He asked.
"Hmm, let's see..." Francesca scrolled through as she counted. "Around forty-two."
"Not too bad..." Neos nodded to the brunette, before giving a smug smirk. "...For a scrub."
"Hey thanks, I-" Her smile turned into a glare at the last remark. "What did you say?!"
"Look, it's nothing personal, but I have ninety-two shinies." The boy grinned.
"Say what?!" She stammered, before regaining her composure. "Well, how many legendaries have you got?"
"Twenty-nine?" Neos answered.
"Hah! I have thirty-one!" Francesca taunted. "All for Team Valor!"
"Psh! Team Instinct can kick Team Valor's ass any day." Neos waved off.
Francesca got up from her spot, and glared at Neos. "You and me are going to have a problem, Neos!" She declared as she got up in his face.
Neos glared back at the irked brunette as he pushed back. "You're telling me, Franny!"
Before the rivalry could explode any further, another female voice called towards them. "Come now, fellas. No need to get so worked up." The two of them turned to see a long blue haired Japanese girl wearing an aqua jacket over a white crop top that had a blue tsunami and a blue note on it, which was quite revealing around her chest. She also wore a denim mini skirt and white high heel boots.
Neos and Francesca looked at the flirty girl, before the latter asked. "And who the hell are you?"
"Me? Well, I'm Naomi Siren, and I figured the best way to ease the tension would be some quality bonding between us... if you know what I mean." Naomi winked at the two.
Neos moved towards the blue-haired girl, before introducing himself. "Well Naomi, I certainly wouldn't mind that all. By the way, the name's Neos Xanthos." He smirked while waving his eyebrows.
The two young ladies were caught off-guard by his advancement, but the blue-haired girl didn't mind. "Well now, aren't you a hot stud?" Naomi giggled, before she turned to Francesca. "And how about you? Don't you wanna join in on the fun?"
The brunette was creeped out by the scene in front of her, as she growled."What do you think I am, some kind of dime store floozy?!" Francesca yelled out, annoyed at being involved in a potential threeway.
However, before the tension could escalate, another voice called out. "Neos! Where are you, amigo?" The trio turned as they saw Rockwell approaching the group.
The spiky-haired teen saw his fellow gang member. "Oh, hey Rock. What's up?"
"Well, I was trying to find where Janey and Sergei went, and I-" He stopped as soon as he got a good look at Francesca, with her hair fluttering in the breeze. "Ay dios mio! Why hello there..." He greeted the brunette, feeling a tad smitten.
Franny sighed at the sight of the love-struck guitarist. "Oh great, now what?"
"I am Rockwell Sanchez. Tell me, do you believe in love at first sight?" He tried to cup her hand, as Naomi squealed.
However, Francesca moved away before she reached for a large, spiky club. "Back away, punta!" She threatened, as it transformed into a large battle-axe.
"Whoa! Take it easy..." Rock calmly addressed her, hands in the air.
"Hey, I thought it was pretty cute." The blue-haired girl smiled, before proposing something. "Say, how about after the initiation, how about the four of us go on a verrrrrry special double date? I'm bisexual, just wanted to throw that out there."
"Super hard pass!" Francesca growled. "If you need me, I'll be playing my game somewhere far as hell away from here!" She got up before pointing at Rockwell. "And you! Don't even think about getting fresh with me." She glared before storming off.
Rockwell was stunned, before chortling. "Ah, she's likes to play hard to get - I like that." He pulled out his axe-shaped guitar. "Wait for me, I have a song to play for you!" He ran in her direction.
Neos and Naomi stared as he ran, before the latter commented. "Well, your friend's pretty determined."
"Yeah, Rock doesn't really know when to quit." The spiky-haired teen smirked, before smirking to Naomi. "Anyways, how you and I get more acquainted?"
Naomi smirked, as they inched closer towards one another. "Sounds good to me."
Meanwhile, at a small field that was near the Campus gates, Lee continued to practice his swordsmanship. "Lousy Ryu, thinks he's better than me... I'll show him! Hyah!" He swung his katana at a tree, slicing it in one blow as it toppled over.
"Nice form... though next time, maybe check to make sure nobody's IN IT?!" A voice yelled out as a dark-skinned teen leapt down from above. This teen was a short black hair young man with emerald eyes, who wore a dark green ninja shirt with a fishnet mesh shirt underneath with black gloves and a gold medallion in the shape of a shuriken and black jeans with a symbol of a green shuriken spinning on his thigh. There was a quiver on his back and two on his calves.
"Hmph! It isn't my fault you were in the way of my training." Lee shrugged off. "And you are?"
"Leonidas Orion." The ninja introduced himself.
"Lee Yahto." The hot-headed samurai stated. "Now stand aside, I'm busy training."
"Well, you certainly will not improve at the pace you are going." Leonidas criticized.
Lee jerked his head up, before glaring daggers at him. "What was that?"
Leonidas folded his arms before explaining. "You are putting too much of your anger into your swing. As if you are constantly thinking about someone that enrages you."
"Oh, well gee, thanks so much for your philosophy, 'professor'!" He sarcastically thanked. "I'll have you know I've been training every day with my family clan!"
"I can see that. And while you are an impressive swordfighter, you still have a long way to go if you want to be the top Huntsman here." The ninja continued.
Lee's fury increased, before pointing his blade at Leonidas. "In that case, how about I demonstrate my skills by cutting you to pieces?!"
Leonidas sighed. "It was not my intention to challenge you, but if that is what you want..." He reluctantly took out a special bow as he took aim at him.
"Wait!" Their concentration was broken, as Gwen ran up between them to stop them from trading blows. "Um, please don't fight. You're going to get in trouble if you get caught fighting on campus grounds."
"Shoot, she's right..." Leonidas mentally facepalmed.
"Plus, if you do... y-you're going to destroy these little critter's homes." She awkwardly explained, as she comforted a small squirrel.
However, Lee was not having any of it. "Stay out of this! This is between me and that fool of a ninja."
Leonidas growled at that statement. "A fool, am I?" He re-aimed his bow.
"My goodness, Lee. You sure are adept at making new friends." Lee's eye twitched in annoyance as he saw Ryu standing behind him with his arms folded.
"Must you keep following me?!" The younger of the two samurais growled.
"Come now, I only wanted to make sure you didn't do anything too reckless and get yourself kicked out." Ryu narrowed his eyes. "Especially on day one."
Lee sighed, before sheathing his blade. "Tch! Forget this!" He started to walk away, before he addressed Leonidas. "Don't think this is over. We'll settle this another time!"
Leonidas huffed. "I look forward to it." He calmly replied, as Lee left the scene.
Ryu sighed, before addressing the two. "I apologize for my younger cousin coming off a bit too rash."
"Oh no, it's quite all right." Gwen bowed toward him.
"Well, you seem to be the more level-headed of the two, so I suppose you are all right." Leonidas shrugged, before turning to Gwen. "Oh, I don't think I heard your name yet."
"Ah yes, My name is Gwen Charlotte. It is very nice to meet both of two." She bowed humbly.
Ryu bowed back. "Likewise."
"So, Ryu, was it? Care to explain why Lee is so hostile towards others?" The ninja asked.
"Well, he is not always this brash towards everyone. It is me that he has a problem with." The samurai explained.
"You? But you two are cousins. Why would he hate part of his own family?" Gwen wondered.
"I will explain another time. Perhaps we should start making our way to the auditorium." Ryu pointed out. "Would you both care to tag along with me?"
"Oh thank you, that would be great." Gwen smiled.
"That is all right. I will just head there myself." Leonidas passed on the offer. "But I would not mind chatting with you another time, Ryu."
"I look forward to it, Leonidas." Ryu nodded, as the ninja made a swift exit.
Meanwhile, at another large tree, Janey searched for a perfect spot for some peace and quiet. Eventually, she found a large tree where a Black-haired girl, who had amber-coloured eyes with a bit of purple mascara under, was reading a book at the bottom of it. This raven-haired girl's outfit was accompanied with a black bow on top of her head, as she wore a white blouse with a black vest over it, as well as black stockings that slowly become violet towards the ankles, some low-heeled black boots, and a sheath on her back. "Hey." Janey called out to her as she got her attention. "I can see it's a nice day for reading."
The girl had a puzzled look, before replying. "Uh yeah, it certainly is."
"You mind if I rest on top of the tree? I promise I won't interrupt." The bluebird Faunus asked.
"No, go ahead." The black-haired girl bluntly replied.
Janey grinned, as she flapped her bird wings and perched up on the highest branch. "Ah, feels nice to have some alone time - especially with another gal." She sighed as she lounged about. "Oh yeah, my name's Janey Bluebird."
"I'm Blake Belladonna." Blake spoke, before she faced Janey. "Wait, Bluebird? I take it you're a Faunus?"
"You got it, Blake." Janey nodded, before she was about to doze off. Unfortunately, before she could relax, an explosion occurred right in front of them. "Sigh, I guess I'll find a new spot to roost at." She grumbled before taking flight, while a vial rolled up to Blake.
At the spot of the explosion, elements of fire, ice, and lightning flew around as the cause of it was a young silver-eyed girl who sneezed from scattered dust. The silver-eyed girl had short, dark hair, with shades of red at the end. She also wore what appeared to be a black combat-skirt, as well as a red hood. The other girl caught in the middle of the explosion had snow white hair, which was tied back into a ponytail, and light blue eyes with a faint vertical scar on her left eye. She wore a small light blue jacket over a snow-white dress with a bit of red, and a black mini-dress underneath. Finally, she was wearing some high-heeled boots, and wielded what appeared to be a rapier-revolver.
The girl in white coughed at the explosion. "Unbelievable! This is exactly the kind of thing that I was talking about!" She yelled out.
"I'm really, really, sorry!" The red head apologized sincerely.
"Oh wow!" The two girls heard a voice as they turned to see Sergei admiring the large collection of Dust in the suitcases. "I've never seen such a fine collection of well preserved Dust before! Every element seems to be present."
"Um..." The white-head girl wondered, before Sergei looked up.
"Oh, sorry about that. I am just always so fascinated about Dust, especially when it comes to experimenting with different combinations." The crowned teen explained. "Speaking of, you should really be careful and not leave these lying around like that."
"What?! I wasn't- Oh, never mind." The white-haired girl sighed. "Well, you seem to know a lot about Dust. I take it you know who I am?"
"Weiss Schnee." The three turned as Blake walked towards them holding a missing SDC Vial and handing it to her. "Heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world."
"Finally! Some recognition!" Weiss smiled smugly at the red-head.
"The same company infamous for its controversial labor forces and questionable business partners." Blake added, causing the heiress to become enraged again "Wha- How dare- The nerve of... Ugh!" She growled, before she stormed off with her helpers following behind her.
"I promise I'll make this up to you!" "The red-head called out to her, before she sighed. "I guess I'm not the only one having a rough first day... So, what's..." She was about to ask Blake, but she also took her leave. Dismayed, she sighed even deeper before falling down on her back. "Welcome to Beacon..."
"Hey now, comrade. No need to feel so down. We all have bad days like that, but we should carry on forward." Sergei comforted the girl. "Come, we should be heading to the auditorium."
She smiled before she got up. As she did, they heard yet another voice. "Any room for one more?" They turned and saw Vomit Boy standing near them. "Hey, I'm Jaune."
"I'm Ruby Rose." Ruby finally introduced herself.
"And I am Sergei von Amethyst." Sergei bowed, as the three started to walk. "Say, you are that boy with the tummy troubles on the airship."
Jaune sighed. "Aw come on, motion sickness is a much more common problem than people let on."
"Relax, Jaune. I mean you no disrespect." The self-made king waved as they continued to stroll.
"Well, my name certainly isn't 'Vomit Boy.' The name's Jaune Arc! Short, sweet, rolls off the tongue - ladies love it!" He awkwardly paused. "Well, I-I hope they will. My mom always says that... Never mind."
Ruby giggled, as she casually brought out a large red box. "So, I have this thing here." She pressed a button on it, as it unraveled into a large red-scythe, which she called Crescent Rose.
Jaune and Sergei were both amazed by the young girl's weapon. "Wow, this is some scythe you have there." The latter commented.
"Oh thank you, Sergei." Ruby smiled. "It's also a customizable high-impact sniper rifle."
"A what now?" Jaune asked, confused.
"It's also a gun." She clarified.
"That's so cool!" The blonde knight exclaimed, before showing off his weapon of choice. "I have this." He pulled out a simple sword, as well as his scabbard which transformed into a shield, which he referred to as Crocea Mors.
"Wow, nice weapons." Sergei nodded.
"And what about you, Sergei?" Ruby wondered.
"Well, here is my weapon. In fact, I'm already wearing it right now." Sergei hinted, as Ruby and Jaune looked all over him for it.
"So, where is it?" Jaune questioned.
"It is here." The purple-haired boy answered, as he took off his crown and showed it to them. "This is a multi-purpose Dust Crown which can let me fire off elements of Dust from the centre jewel here, or I can make objects from whatever Dust crystal is on. I call it, the 'Royal Duster'."
"Oh man, that's amazing!" Ruby squealed as her eyes sparkled. "I guess that's why you know so much about Dust."
"Thanks, Ruby. It is true that back in the old country, my family were experts when it came to Dust experimentation." The self-made king explained, before putting his crown back on his head.
After walking around for several minutes, the three of them finally reached the auditorium. They saw that the whole place was packed with students. However, Ruby was able to spot Yang from the crowd, as she was standing between Iskandar and Damien. "Oh, there's my sister. Well, Sergei and Jaune, I'll see you after the ceremony." Ruby quickly spoke, as the boys waved her goodbye.
"And I see my comrades too." Sergei noted as he moved to where Neos, Naomi, and Janey were standing. "We will talk later, I promise."
As Jaune waved him goodbye too, he sighed. "Where am I supposed to find another nice, quirky girl to talk to?" He muttered to himself as he walked away, unaware that a red-haired girl in bronze-coloured gladiator attire was eyeing him from behind.
Sergei walked towards his fellow gang members as he greeted them. "Sorry for worrying you. I was busy travelling with other new friends."
"No worries, Sergei. Though I didn't think you were ever gonna make it." Janey commented.
"So Neos, I assume he's another one of your pals from the Bastard Beowolves?" Naomi asked him.
"Yup. This little guy here is Sergei von Amethyst." The spiky-haired teen explained. "Or as he sometimes likes to be called, 'King'."
"Well, hey there, Sergei. My name's Naomi Siren." The blue-haired girl smiled. "That's quite the adorable outfit you have there."
"It's not cute!" Sergei huffed, before noticing something amiss. "Wait, where is Rockwell?"
"Over here...! *pant*" They could see Rockwell limping towards them, as he was out of breath.
"I'm guessing Francesca didn't like that song of yours?" Naomi wondered.
"I didn't even get the chance to play it! She chased me around for what felt like hours until I eventually got lost deep in some forest." The guitarist explained.
"You should have just left her alone like she told her to, dude." Neos pointed out.
"That girl is a feisty one, I will give her that. But even so, she goes to the extreme to prove a point!" Rock yelled out, not realizing there was a certain someone was behind in. "What does a guy gotta do to get her attention?!"
"Uhhh..." The others awkwardly pointed out.
"She's right behind me, isn't she?" Rockwell sighed, as they nodded.
"You!" Francesca shouted.
"Ai, senorita! Please no more!" Rockwell panicked, as he and Sergei hugged out of fear.
"You're lucky that I barely caught that Shiny Genesect, with you distracting me like that!" The brunette spoke up.
"Lucky..." Neos muttered.
"All right, let's all just calm down." Janey got in between them. "I know you two got off on the wrong foot, so perhaps you two can start over."
"Ah yes, yes! Please Francesca, I would very much like to be your pal. What do you say?" Rockwell stuck his hand out.
Francesca pondered, before replying. "Just leave me alone for the rest of the day, and I'll think about it." And with that, she walked away again.
"Yeah, she's a real keeper..." Neos nudged Rock's arm, as Naomi and Sergei laughed.
After a brief moment, a middle-aged grey haired man, who also wore a dark-green suit, spectacles, and a cane, approached a microphone and tapped it to get everybody's attention. Many people recognized him as the headmaster of Beacon, Ozpin. "I'll... keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and acquire new skills, and when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction." He explained, as the crowd started whispering with one another. "You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step."
After stepping down, his second in command, Professor Glynda, took his place as she addressed everyone. "You will gather in the ballroom tonight; tomorrow, your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed."
As the crowd dispersed, Ryu, Lee, and Gwen looked on. "Was that really all he had to say?" Lee muttered. "Tch! What a waste of time..." He walked off again.
"I don't know, something about him seemed a tad off." Gwen thought out loud.
"Indeed, almost as if he was not himself." Ryu nodded, as everyone got changed into their pajamas and turned in for the night. Tomorrow was initiation, and everyone needed to be well-rested for the big day.
Phew, that was quite a lot in this one chapter, I will admit. I know I am cutting the night portion of the original chapter, because this chapter is already large enough is it was with all the events that had happened here. But don't think I'm selling things short; there will be a good amount of development coming soon - I have several ideas planned for Team DRGN. Now, as a bonus, also inspired by Blazing-Saint, since he had ideas for voice actors who would voice his OCs, I'll do the same, so here we go.
-Damien Crimson would be voiced by Eric Vale (Phoenix Wright from the Ace Attorney Anime Fandub)
-Ryu Yahto: Voiced by Chris Hackney (Dimitri from Fire Emblem Three Houses)
-Gwen Charlotte: Voiced by Xanthe Huynh (Marianne from Three House)
-Neos Xanthos: Voiced by Alejandro Saab (Leon from Pokemon Journeys)
-Lee Yahto: Voiced by Lucien Dodge (Felix From Three Houses)
-Janey Bluebird: Voiced by Cia Court (Vi from League of Legends)
-Sergei von Amethyst: Voiced by Eric Stuart (Meta Knight from Kirby: Right Back at Ya! - was a tough call tbh)
-Rockwell Sanchez: Voiced by Roger Craig Smith (Ezio from Assassin's Creed)
And with that out of the way, do tune in next time for the well-awaited initiation chapters.
Also, big thanks to Blazing-Saint for not only letting me use his OCs in my story, but for the recent RP sessions to help give me ideas for the story. Here's the link to his story: blazing-saint/art/RWBY-Heroic-Demons-Volume-1-Chap-II-615293594 (on deviantart)
Okay, that's everything. See you around!
