Kyle and Tamara enter the house to be welcomed with a loud cheer. "Congratulations!" They all scream and Kyle and Tamara immediately go red in the face. They knew that this was coming, but that didn't mean that they were prepared for it.
"I can't wait to see a little Kyle or Tamara!" Leah grins and walks over to the two and hugs them. "Congratulation you two." She smiles, pulling away from them so that she is looking at them in the eye.
"Thanks, Leah." Kyle smiles only to be dragged away by Heath.
"Come on little brother, we are splitting up, the girls are staying in here, and since Tamara can't drink us boys are going outside, and we're going to make sure that you drink enough for the both of you." Heath chuckles.
"I'm good. I just want to relax." Kyle shrugs and holds tightly onto Tamara's hand. He doesn't feel like drinking much. "Besides I've decided not to drink since Tamara can't."
"You're so sweet, Kyle." Tamara smiles up at her boyfriend. He is so supportive.
"Why? Are you pregnant as well?" Heath glares at his little brother. He was not happy that his brother was refusing his invitation.
"Nope, just being a supportive boyfriend." Kyle smiles at Tamara and leans down and kisses her on the cheek.
"Well, this is me being an older brother." Heath laughs and yanks Kyles arm so hard that he actually lets go of Tamaras hand. "You are going to get drunk today or so help me. I will embarrass you in front of everyone here and then pin you to the ground and force it down your throat." Heath smirks and pulls his brother outside.
"Heath, leave your brother alone. If he doesn't want to drink, he doesn't have to." Bianca sighs at her husband. Why oh Why does he always have to act like a big man. Bianca thinks to herself.
"No he does, don't you Kylie?" Heath smirks at his little brother ruffling his hair up. "Unless he wants me to tell all these ladies what happened last week." Heath smiles at his brother.
Kyle pauses. No the last thing that he wanted was for everyone in the room to know that Heath had pictures of him in only a towel as Heath had stolen all of his clothes. "Alright", Kyle mumbles and lets Heath drag him outside where he knows that trouble is waiting.
"You're going to delete those pictures right?" He asks his brother, who just chuckles loudly.
"Oh please, little brother, I'm saving those. It's called blackmail." Heath laughs shoving his little brother outside. "Here, he is boys."
Kyle sees his brothers, Andy, Josh, Zac, John, Alf, Oscar, Matt, VJ and Jett. Why did they have to do this? Now all the attention is on him.
"Guys, this isn't necessary. This doesn't have to be about me. Let's just chill." Kyle smiles lightly and hopes that it will work, although he knows that it isn't likely.
"Good try little brother, but no, it's all about you. So get your first beer into you." Brax says and hands Kyle a beer.
"Alright, but i don't agree with peer pressure." Kyle shrugs lightly and opens his beer and takes his first gulp.
"Okay, look at it this way. Don't think of it as peer pressure. If you drink he beer i won't sit on you." Andy chuckles slapping the back of Kyle's head hard.
"Ow!" Kyle moans. "What is it with you and Heath and hitting me over the head. Is it fun or something?" He huffs.
"I don't know, let me try again", Andy smirks and hits Kyles head again, this causes everyone to laugh.
"Well, was it fun?" VJ laughs. This is typical when the Braxton boys and the Barrett boys are put together. Either Casey, Kyle or Josh always get picked on.
"I still can't tell." Andy frowns and hits Kyle one last time. This time was the hardest.
"Ow! What the hell! Piss off!" Kyle grumbles and moves away as to get away from Andy, this time he sits down with Josh and Casey.
"Quit being a girl Kylie. Maybe you should go in with the ladies." Heath chuckles. He regrets it though when Kyle heads towards the door.
"Alright, I'm fine with that." He grunts and tries to get away only to be pulled back by Brax.
"Oh no, you don't. we haven't embarrassed you enough yet, and besides, if you go in there, you will be counted as a girl." Brax laughs. He shoves his brother towards the rest of the group.
Kyle grumbles under his breath and sits down on the grass next to Josh. He takes a large gulp of beer and then sighs loudly. His brothers are so annoying.
"Hey, look on the bright side, they're all giving you grief, so they aren't giving me grief", Josh smirks and he and Casey fist bump.
"How is that a bright side?" Kyle asks, confused. He glares at the two boys.
"I didn't say it was a bright side for you." Josh laughs. Once again, everyone erupts with laughter.
"I need to get new friends." Kyle glares at Josh. "Maybe ones who are funny." He huffs.
"Ignore him, Josh, he's overly sensitive at the moment, anyone would think that he is pregnant." Heath chuckles. Kyle rolls his eyes and walks over to Alf and John, who are talking in the corner.
"They getting too much for you young fella?" Alf chuckles, they had been listening from afar.
"My brothers are always too much, just add Andy and Josh to the equation, and it gets even worse." Kyle sighs. He then turns towards his brother and can't help but smile lightly. "Although. It's good to have them. After all my years in foster care. It's nice to have my brothers." Kyle smiles.
"Well, congratulations young fella. We are all looking forward to seeing this baby of yours." John smiles and raises his bottle of beer.
"Thanks, John, it means a lot." Kyle smiles.
"Oi Kylie, get your butt over here!" Heath chuckles, Kyle looks at him nervously, he is obviously planning something.
"I'm good. I'm here talking to Alf and John." Kyle replies, he has a slight smile on his face. He ruffles the hair on the back of his head. The last thing that he wants to do is walk over to his brothers.
"Get your butt over here now, or I'll tell everyone here about Melbourne." Brax threatens. He loves having this against Kyle. It's too fun, and it means that he can get his brother to anything he wants when he uses it.
Kyle quickly walks over to his brothers. There's no way that he's letting those words come out of Brax's mouth. "Alright, alright. Just please don't embarrass me." Kyle begs. He stands in front of his brothers, who immediately grab him by the shoulders.
"Alright, so our little brother is about to be a dad. So congrats on that Ky." Heath announces as he squeezes Kyle's shoulders and pushes him down on to a chair.
"Thanks, I think." Kyle mumbles. He is apprehensive about where this is going.
"So, as you all know, Kyle is from a foster family, so we didn't know him as a kid. So we don't have any embarrassing photos of him." Brax says. He looks down at his brother, who gives a sigh of relief.
"Thank god for that", Kyle says.
"However! I happen to have Kyle's best friends number. I asked her for Kyles foster parents email." Heath says, starting his story.
"Oh, god, no!" Kyle mumbles and drops his head in his hands.
"I emailed them, and they were quick to get back to me and emailed me back with many photos of little Kyle. So If your kid is a boy, is he also going to look like a little girl." Heath laughs and pulls out a piece of paper and unfolds it.
Kyle tries to reach for it but is pulled back by Brax. "No, you don't." He laughs and slaps him hard on the shoulder.
Kyle drops his head in embarrassment as all the boys laugh. He hated that photo. His foster-brothers had pinned him down to the ground and put a wig on him, his foster sister's makeup on him as well as one of her dresses.
"Bold fashion choice Kylie." Andy laughs, causing Kyle to glare at him. He tries to stand up to have a go at him, but Brax's hands are still on his shoulders so he can't.
"My foster brothers did it, the arseholes." Kyle huffs.
"I would love to meet these foster brothers." Casey laughs. "Are there any more photos?" He asks.
Kyle glares at his little brother. "Shut up, Casey." He hisses.
"Oh, yes, there are. Here we have a fifteen-year-old Kyle and his twelve-year-old foster brother who is taller than him." Heath chuckles. Holding up the next picture.
Kyle sighs loudly. "So I had a late growth spurt, sue me. I'm taller than you." Kyle grunts. His brothers are so annoying. He's hoping that they don't have many more photos.
"Here is Kyle aged seventeen with his foster family at Luna Park." Heath grins. He holds up a picture of Kyle and his foster family. He was towering above them all, well all apart from his foster Dad. By this point, he was finally one of the oldest with the only one older being his foster sister who was about five months older than him.
Kyle rolls his eyes, at least this one isn't embarrassing.
"Wow, you did have a growth spurt!" Casey laughs. It looks as though Kyle had doubled in height. Although that was an over exaggeration.
"Yeah, I grew out of clothes fast." Kyle chuckles. This isn't so bad. But he still hopes it's over.
"And here is Kyle when he first went to the foster home." Heath smiles. Holding up the next photo in which Kyle was sporting a horrible black eye. Kyle drops his head. This is not a memory he likes.
Brax takes his hands off Kyle's shoulders and grabs Heath by the singlet. "I told you to take that photo out. He's got a black eye, you idiot." Brax hisses. How could his brother be so stupid?
"Huh?" Heath asks. He didn't see what the problem was.
"Take three guesses who gave him the black eye." Brax groans. Did Heath need him to spell it out for him?
Heath looks at his brother whose head is down. "Right, sorry." Heath sighs. He looks at the rest of the group. "His bullies used to beat him up." He shrugs lightly.
"Dude!" Brax barks. Why did his brother just say that? He knows that Kyle is an extremely private person.
"What? These are our friends." Heath asks. He doesn't understand the problem. It's not like their friends will laugh at Kyle for being bullied.
"His bullies gave him that black eye?" Andy asks angrily. Kyle is like his little brother. Annoying and fun to tease. The thought of anyone hurting him infuriates him.
"Yea." Brax sighs.
"No." Kyle mumbles. It would be easy to say that his high school bullies gave him the black eye, but that wasn't the truth.
"Then, who?" Brax asks. "One of your foster brothers, your foster dad?" Brax asks. He knows it was eight years ago and doesn't matter, but it still bothers him.
"Dad", Kyle answers, shrugging his shoulders as if it was obvious.
Brax, Heath and Casey roll their eyes. Why are they so surprised?
"What happened?" Heath asks. He knew that their Dad was a psycho, but he wondered why he went off this time.
"I asked about you." Kyle sighs shrugging his shoulders.
FlashbackÂ
Kyle Bennett was in the prison meeting area, waiting to talk to his Dad. His Mum had just died, and he was hoping that he could find his half brothers so that he could live with them. He sat in a seat and waited for his father. When he finally approached, he was not happy to see his second youngest son.
"Why you here? Where's your mother?" He asked and sat in the seat opposite Kyle glaring at him.
"Mums dead... Dad, I was wondering if you could please tell me a bit more about my brothers so that I could live with them, they are family after all." Kyle said and looked at his father.
"You're kidding, right? They won't want you!" Danny laughed loudly. Kyle looked at him, hurt. It was like that was the funniest thing that he had ever heard.
"Why not? I'm their brother. I just want to chance to get to know them, they are the only family I have left, apart from you that is. But I don't see you getting out of here anytime soon." Kyle mumbled.
"Listen Kyan. My sons will not want a little weakling like you to live with them." Danny barked, he looked at this son with disappointment. "You hit 5 foot yet?"
"4'11. I'm nearly there." Kyle sulked. "It's Kyle by the way." He whispered
"What?!" Danny yelled as he got on his feet.
Kyle sunk into his chair. He couldn't stand up to bullies, let alone his Dad.
"I asked you a question." Danny hissed and grabbed Kyle by the shirt and pulled him to his feet. The guards were starting to make their way over to the young man and the prisoner.
"My names Kyle", Kyle whispered. He didn't even look up from his feet.
"You disrespectful little shit!" Danny yelled and punched Kyle hard in the face before the guards could even get to them as two guards pulled Danny away. One was left with Kyle who was sobbing hard. He reached out to run Kyle's back, but he flinches, thinking that it was his father.
"It's okay kid. He's gone." He whispers and hands over the ice that another guard handed to him.
End of Flashback.
"Dad's an arsehole." Brax huffs and look at Kyle who is looking a bit upset. "Alright, enough teasing. He's had enough, so let's just have some fun now yea?" Brax smiles and ruffles up his brother's hair.
"Yea, alright." Heath smiles and follows Brax's lead and ruffles his brother's hair. 'So Kyle, with a baby on the way and you and Tam getting married?"
"Heath, I just told you to leave it alone." Brax orders. His brother doesn't listen.
"Alright alright, come on let's go inside and see the girls." Heath sighs and walks inside to see his wife. Kyle quickly follows.
He approaches Tam and smiles at her. "Hey, Tammie." He smiles as he leans down and kisses her lightly on the cheek.
"Hey, Baby." She replies as she takes a sip of her orange juice.
Kyle starts to think about what Heath said. He loves Tamara more than anything. Marriage might not be that far off.
