It has been two weeks since the pregnancy party Kyle and Tamara are currently in their bedroom, Tamara is reading a story and Kyle is doing bookwork for the restaurant on his laptop. He is just about done when he gets an email from Libby Fisher.
Hey Kyle, It was hard getting ahold of you as no one has heard from you since you left high school, but I managed to find your old foster home and get the name and email address of your friend Mac who gave me this email address. This year marks five years since we've finished High School and we are having a reunion. The reunion is going to happen on the 20th of July. I'm sorry we've given you so little time, like I said we were having trouble getting ahold of you. We would love to see you there.
Libby and Cedric Fisher.
Kyle frowns at the email, not knowing what to think. Tamara turns to look at him and sees the look on his face. "You okay baby?' She asks.
"Yeah, I just got an email from a girl who I used to go to school with, I have a five-year reunion next month, I'm very conflicted." Kyle admits. He doesn't know what to do. On one hand he never wanted to see his High School bullies again on the other hand he was no longer the geeky scrawny little nerd who only had one friend, he now had a girlfriend! A gorgeous one and he wanted to show his bullies that their years of torment didn't ruin his life, like he knew they wanted it to.
"Meaning?" Tamara asks. She is surprised that Kyle is even considering going after the way he was treated in High School.
"Meaning yes, those jerks made every single day of my High School life horrible but look at me! I'm not the same little geek that I was while I was in high school! I've now got a beautiful girl by my side, one that I want to show off to everyone at my school, to show everyone how lucky I am. I mean I was just a little geek with no friends other than a kid who was also beaten up, I want to show my bullies that their bullying had no lasting effects on me." Kyle says as he smiles at Tamara.
"But?" Tamara asks.
"But they made my life a living hell and a part of me is scared to face them again." Kyle mumbles.
"Baby, you listen to me. The decision is a hundred percent yours, but I just want to tell you that you are amazing, strong and I love you. If we do end up going, I can promise you that I will be one hundred precent there for you." Tamara says and Kyle leans into kiss her.
Suddenly the door opens and Heath walks in. "Get a room." He says through a mouthful of food.
"We're in our room! You should have knocked." Kyle glares at his older brother.
"I should have, I could have but I didn't." Heath smirks whacking his brother around the head.
"You're an idiot! Has anyone ever told you that?" Kyle huffs as he runs the back of his head. "I mean seriously Heath, my baby is more mature than you and bubbie is what just nine weeks old!" Kyle moans, his brother is so immature!
"Bubbie? You're calling your baby Bubbie?" Heath laughs at his little brother.
"Yeah, and? We aren't calling out little Bubbie an it! We don't know the gender yet." Kyle argues with his brother.
"You're such a sook!" Heath laughs.
"Shut up Heath." Kyle says rolling his eyes.
"So, when are you going to find out the gender? Because I am not saying Bubbie until he or she is born!" Heath says.
Kyle can't help but smirk. "Well, you will have to as we aren't finding out. We like surprises and plus, we aren't going to have the pink or blue accessories, we want gender neutral colours." Kyle says to his brother.
"Fair enough." Heath says but still doesn't leave the room.
"So what did you want Heath?" Kyle asks as he wants to get back to his conversation with Tamara.
"Oh, Brax was wondering if you were both home for lunch?" Heath asks. "We're having a barbeque."
"Yeah, we're home." Kyle replies and then expects Heath to walk out of the room, so does Tamara but he doesn't leave. "Now what?" Kyle huffs.
"Man, I hope you and Tamara don't sync up with your mood swings." Heath huffs only to get hit in the face with Tamara's book.
"Ow! What was that for?" Heath asks as he throws the book back on the bed.
"You're being a dick." Tamara hisses.
Kyle can't help but laugh. He had been on the wrong side of Tamara's hormonal outbursts more than once and was thrilled that it was aimed at someone else this time "You poked the bear."
"Shut up Kylie!" Heath hisses and rubs his face.
At this point he finally walks out of the room.
"Finally!" Kyle says, he then turns to Tamara. "So, are you keen to come to Melbourne and see my school?" He asks.
"Absolutely!" Tamara grins. "No one will give you a hard time Ky, in fact your girl bullies will wonder what went through their tiny little brains, they'll wonder why they picked on a hottie like you." Tamara says and then Kyle pulls her in for another kiss.
"Thanks babe! I'll talk to Brax and get that week off so that I can spend some time showing you where I'm from. I can show you where my Mum and I lived, my foster home, you can meet my friend Mac." Kyle says smiling at the thought of showing his girlfriend around his home city.
"Ohhh, the famous Mac! I can't wait to meet her! Does she have any photos of you when you were younger?" Tamara asks, hoping that she will get to see some photos of her boyfriend.
"Yeah, she probably will." Kyle sighs annoyed. He is not looking forward to Tamara seeing those pictures, Mac had a talent for getting horrible photos of him, he is just happy that she didn't send any into his brothers for them to embarrass him with when they had the pregnancy celebration.
Kyle leans in to kiss Tamara again when once again the door opens.
'Seriously!" Kyle moans and runs his hands over his face. Casey and Denny walk in the door. "Can we help you with something Casey?" Kyle asks very annoyed.
"I told you to knock!" Denny hisses at Casey.
"Listen, Denny and I were thinking, how about we go on a double date tonight, it could be fun. You keen?" He asks.
"Sure, what are we doing?" Tamara asks.
"Bowling then a fancy dinner." Denny smiles.
"Yeah. that'll be fun." Kyle smiles at them as he loves bowling, he is really good at it.
"It'll be fun beating you Kyle!" Casey smirks, her loves the rivalry he and his brother have.
"I wouldn't be so sure Casey. I'm pretty good at bowling." Kyle smiles and rubs Tamaras belly. He is so excited and is already counting down the days till he can see his baby.
"Okay a bet! Whoever loses has to pay for dinner?" Casey smirks feeling confident that he will be able to beat Kyle at bowling.
"Oh, you're on!" Kyle grins at his brother. He's happy with this bet and is keen for a free meal.
"Boys." Tamara says to Denny shaking her head with a small smile on her face. She kisses Kyle lightly on the cheek and ruffles his hair lightly.
"Such idiots." Denny agrees and grabs ahold of Casey's hand and pulls him out of the room.
Kyle immediately turns to Tamara and pulls her in for a kiss, this time they are not interrupted.
