Chapter 17 The Talk

"Before we go further, there is one very important thing I should tell you on this subject. Or rather, about this conversation itself." Shizune clarified, making sure her audience of one was listening.

"Talking about sex, or 'The Talk' as most people call it, is about more than just the mechanics of the act. If the only thing to discuss was the part about how it's done, then literally anyone who knows could tell you. But this is an intimate and personal subject that needs to be treated with seriousness and trust, and that's because of the other aspect here. The emotional side."

Shizune adjusted in her seat for a moment then leaned forward, clasping her hands together. "Sex can be both emotional and unemotional. There's a big difference between making love and... well, fucking as most people refer to it."

Naruto blinked, honestly not recalling Tsunade's first apprentice ever saying a curse word in his presence.

"Emotionless sex is basically having sex just for the fun of it with no real care for the other person. This could be nothing more than a brief fling or a one night stand, where two people have sex with the expectation that it's just for the fun of it and not something that will happen again later. At least not with each other." She explained, seeing Naruto get a bothered expression. "Now if you're not looking for love and you're not deceiving someone else into consenting under false promises, this isn't necessarily a bad thing."

"How could it not be?" Naruto asked.

"It can look bad from the outside Naruto, but keep in mind the people doing this aren't looking for love. In fact, many people go through this as a sort of phase and outgrow it eventually. Though not all do. Anyway the point is as long as both adults accept the situation, what they do with it is nobody's business except their own. This is important in all relationships, even the temporary ones."

Naruto still looked bothered. "I don't think I'd want sex if it wasn't with someone I loved or who loved me."

Shizune nodded. "That's perfectly fine Naruto. A lot of people want that too. In fact, there's a type of person called demisexual who refuse to have sex with anyone they don't have strong feelings for. If you're curious you could look into if that describes you or not."

The whiskered jinchuuriki shrugged, not sure how else to respond.

"So, if you are looking for love, there are some things I should tell you." Shizune added. "For one, there is a social rule about not having sex until marriage. What you need to know is that this is not an absolute, in most cases. There are some times like with royalty or with clans where this is a make-or-break situation and the families will go to war over the issue, metaphorically speaking."

Naruto gulped. "Really?"

"Don't worry, odds are you won't ever have to deal with that unless you were trying to be with the daimyo's daughter."

"But what about if say I was trying to be with someone from the Hyuuga? Or for that matter, any clan heiress?" Naruto asked.

Shizune paused for a moment. "Honestly, that depends on both the clan customs and the parent's preference. I can't tell you which clans stick to the whole chastity standard and which don't, but what I can tell you is don't ask them about it. There is literally no good way to ask a girl's mother or father, especially the father, what they think about you having sex with their daughter. Hopefully though if the girl is an heiress she'll know what's expected of her and inform you ahead of time. Also, just so you don't worry too much, the whole 'virginity' thing usually applies just to the girls. Few families or clans expect the men in them to remain virgins until marriage, that pressure is almost exclusive for women. And since you don't have parents or any clan, there's no reason for you to feel obligated into remaining chaste. But you should respect the girl's limits regardless of your own."

Naruto nodded. 'I'm not sure if that applies to Ino or Hinata given how they were acting, but I better make sure before I give their dads more reason to hate me than they already do.'

"Another thing to tell you about looking for love is that you may not find it right away." Shizune continued. "There's an expression, 'You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince'. It means that the first person you love is not likely to be your true love, and odds are you're going to have more than a few break-ups before you find 'the one'. This is normal and not something that should discourage you. When we start the search for love, we all want to believe that our first love is 'the one', but most of the time it's not the case. So when you do get a girl to date you, keep this in mind. If she breaks up with you, don't refuse to accept it and try to keep her. And if you don't like the relationship, don't stay in it just because you're afraid you'll never get another chance with anyone else."

"So then, how do you know if you're in love or not?" Naruto asked.

Shizune smiled. "That's something you're going to have to find out for yourself. Now, let's get into the 'how to' portion of this lesson."

While Naruto was getting a long overdue education, Sakura, Ino, and Hinata were having another get-together. This time they were at Sakura's house in her bedroom, with Inoichi and Hiashi informed and assured that Naruto would not be there. The two fathers gave permission, though Inoichi had asked for Ino to come home that night instead of avoid him. She agreed but made no promise of when she'd return home.

It wasn't too late but the sun was going down so the three girls put a store-bought pizza in the oven. Sakura's parents decided to go out for a date that night and left the three unsupervised. Sakura wondered if her father was going to talk to her mother about her other personality, or about what she was doing with Naruto. Mentally she thanked her dad for not having that talk here in the house that night.

"Okay girls, I think we've figured out everything about the strike that we can right now. So now, I think we need to discuss how 'sharing' Naruto is going to work so there won't be any confusion later on." Ino started. "Let's start with something simple, who should get the first date?"

"Me!" Hinata insisted.

"Hold on Hinata, not to say you don't deserve it, but Naruto has wanted me the longest so maybe he'd be more comfortable dating me first." Sakura countered. "The important thing is to get him comfortable, so as his teammate and first crush I can do that. You can go next, then Ino, then back to me and we rotate like that. Sound fair?"

Reluctantly, Hinata nodded. "So then, how long does each 'turn' last? If you go on a date, does your turn end when the date does or is this more of a weekly thing?"

"Considering that Naruto isn't on strike and therefore still required to do missions, I think it should be the first option. That way if a mission comes up one of us doesn't 'lose' our turn so to speak." Ino offered.

Sakura nodded. "Yeah that should work for now at least. We each get one date at a time and after that the next girl gets theirs, but there should be no time limit in case something comes up. Maybe if things change we can change that, but for now this is good enough."

"Next up, what is or isn't allowed?" Ino asked. "Should this be a free-for-all anything goes situation? Or should there be boundaries between us?"

Out of the corner of their eye they saw Sakura stiffen momentarily then relax and smile. "Hi girls, glad we can talk more directly this time."

Ino and Hinata blinked. "Are you the other Sakura? The dark side Sakura."

She nodded and looked at her hands. "Yeah, not sure why I took over now, but it happened. Don't worry, normal Sakura will remember everything. We still share memories, I'm just the one in the driver's seat now."

Ino looked around. "I can't see anything that could trigger this. The only things that happened was I asked a question and it got dark outside."

Looking out the window it was dark enough to suggest that the sun was mostly if not fully set now.

"Could that be it?" Hinata asked. "Does Dark Sakura come out when it literally gets dark outside?"

Ino looked skeptical. "That hardly seems reasonable."

Dark Sakura shrugged. "It makes about as much sense as me being conscious. Now that I think about it, I have been having more influence during the later hours, so maybe I am a sort of nocturnal personality. Whatever, let's get back to Naruto-kun. We were talking about what we can do on dates, does that mean sex?"

Ino and Hinata blushed.

Dark Sakura chuckled. "Face it, we're all thinking it. We want to know if sex is an option or not. Anywhere from first base to home runs. I'm in favor of going all the way as long as Naruto-kun wants it, but is that good between us?"

Hinata cleared her throat. "I think we should discuss ahead of time which one of us... gets to be the first. But that's for when it may happen, not something to schedule in advance. Plus Naruto-kun really should have a say in it too. We're talking about his first time too after all."

Ino looked confused. "If I'm getting this right, you're both saying that when sex does become a real possibility, it should wait until after the girl in question informs the other two. Is that right?"

Dark Sakura nodded. "That's the gist of it. Doesn't it sound fair?"

"Not really. I mean, let's say that Naruto wanted to sleep with me and I agreed. I would then be expected to tell him to wait until after I told you two we were going to do it. That would likely embarrass Naruto because I doubt he'd want you both to know like that. Also if I told you, wouldn't that essentially be me asking you two for permission to have sex with him? What if you said no? Would I be expected to deny Naruto just because you two don't want me to sleep with him?"

Dark Sakura and Hinata looked to each other as they thought over what the platinum blonde had suggested, and they couldn't deny that she had a point.

"You're right Ino, that's kind of inappropriate and could ruin any progress we make with Naruto-kun." Dark Sakura admitted. "So how about instead of before, it's after? Perhaps the last girl to go on a date should tell the other two what she did?"

Hinata shook her head. "No, that's just as bad. It sort of sets a standard and implies that the next girl has to one-up the last one, and instead of asking for permission it's more like asking for acceptance."

Dark Sakura sighed. "So there's no good way to prep for this. What do we do then? We're going to talk to each other at some time. How do we create a safe space so we can share our experienced without turning any of us into a bitch about it?"

"How about this, we all agree to not have actual sex with Naruto for now. For now, anything else is okay, since I can't do my mind share jutsu all the time to give us privacy. If any of us want to kiss, touch, or get frisky then that's okay, as long as there's no actual loss of virginity. When it comes to talking about it, it's up to the individual to decide how much to share." Ino recommended.

Hinata slowly nodded. "Yes, that so far seems the most reasonable. But you said 'no sex for now'. What would change that?"

Ino shrugged. "Well, off the top of my head, what if Naruto wants it?"

"If Naruto-kun asked me for sex, I wouldn't let him leave until after he used all three of my holes." Dark Sakura said perversely, making Ino and Hinata's eyes widen. She just laughed. "Oh don't tell me you two wouldn't do the same."

Hinata fidgeted, her face all shades of red and fingers poking together. "If... if Naruto-kun wanted me... I'd... I would give him my all."

Dark Sakura sighed. "Can we bring out Dark Hinata? I really want to hear how raunchy her answer would be."

Hinata just silently eeped and looked away.

"And what about you Ino? We all know you want him to tap your ass. You said so yourself." Dark Sakura added.

Ino blushed too and broke eye contact. "Well, I'm okay with everything else for now, but I don't think I can really give myself to him for real unless I really love him. I like Naruto, I do, but I can't say I love him. So for now, my ass will be untapped, but not untouched."

Dark Sakura leaned back. "Okay, and can I mention the other side to this arrangement?"

That got Ino and Hinata to look back at her. "What do you mean?" Ino asked.

"We're doing this mainly under the idea that eventually Naruto-kun will pick one of us as his long term girlfriend and the others will be just friends. What if it doesn't work out that way? What if Naruto decided he wants all three of us? And what if we want to keep sharing him long term?"

Hinata nodded. "Yeah, you mentioned it before. Or at least, one of the Sakuras did. About Naruto-kun being polyamorous."

Ino blinked. "I hadn't considered that. Wouldn't that just be complicated?"

"Socially yes, but there's no actual law against having a harem. It's just one legal wife, with other girls who accept being in a relationship with the man." Dark Sakura pointed out. "Sure others may judge, but we're all adults and not hurting anyone so there's nothing anyone can do to prevent this if things go this way."

Hinata looked to Ino. "Ino, Sakura pointed out beforehand that due to how my clan works, it might be best if I were the legal wife. That way there's no chance of myself or my children getting my clan's seal on them, since doing that to a non-Hyuuga would be illegal. Is there a specific advantage to you being the legal wife?"

Ino thought it over. "Nothing that I can think of, other than getting people like my dad and those that agree with him off my back. That's still minor compared to your situation though."

"One good perk is even if we're not married, we could be considered honorary members of the Uzumaki family if Naruto accepts us, and then legally we could change our names to Uzumaki. So in a way it's exactly like marriage just without the legality involved." Dark Sakura added. "I gotta admit, Sakura Uzumaki has a nice ring to it. Same with Hinata Uzumaki or Ino Uzumaki."

With that all three girls imagined themselves wearing white dresses and standing before Naruto in a tuxedo before kissing him. All three couldn't help but smile wistfully.

"Wait, Sakura, or Dark Sakura, are you saying that you want us to form a harem? Because that's what it's starting to sound like." Ino asked when she snapped out of it.

Dark Sakura chuckled. "Let's just say that I'm very open to the idea. It's ultimately up to Naruto-kun and what he wants, but if it were up to me, then yeah I'd get us all in one big blended family with Naruto as our shared husband and us three barefoot and pregnant before the year is over."

Both Ino and Hinata were silent, thinking it over and not sure what to decide.

"If... if it were..." Hinata started, then paused and took a deep breath. "I'd rather share Naruto-kun than not have him at all. So yes, I'm willing to let Naruto-kun have a harem as long as I'm in it."

Ino sighed and moved some of her hair. "I'm not sure if I'm in any position to make such a decision. I'm happy to date Naruto and I'm happy to get frisky with him, but marriage is another thing that I'm not sure I want to plan for." She then adjusted herself in where she sat. "That being said, I want Naruto to be happy and loved, even if it's not with me. If Naruto loved me and I loved him, well... I don't want to make any promises, so for now I'll consider the harem as an option. But I might get selfish and want that big hunk of man meat all for myself."

"Ah come on Ino, don't you want to be a good friend and share?" Dark Sakura asked, getting down on all fours and crawling towards the platinum blonde. Ino looked surprised and confused, especially as the pinkette got closer. "Don't be greedy, because there's one more part of the harem that you might be overlooking."

"And what's that?" Ino asked, leaning back a little to create some space.

"It wouldn't just be Naruto-kun sharing us."

With that Dark Sakura leaned in and planted a searing kiss on her best friend's lips.

Hinata gasped and covered her mouth as she watched this, while Ino's eyes widened and her body froze in place. Dark Sakura rubbed her lips against Ino's while lightly pressing her tongue against her mouth. Ino acted on reflex more than anything and accepted the tongue, not fully knowing why, but it got in and tangled with her own which fought back. Dark Sakura wrapped her arms around the Yamanaka girl and moaned, then she took a page from Naruto's book and reached down and grabbed Ino's butt. Ino gasped but also moaned and despite her hesitation she began to kiss back.

Dark Sakura made a small squeal in pleasure and deepened her kiss, rubbing her friend's ass and licking the inside of her mouth. Ino closed her eyes and wrapped her hands around Sakura's body, leaning in and pressing their breasts together. After a bit Dark Sakura leaned back and brought Ino on top of her, the blonde girl going along and laying on top, continuing the make out session.

'Is this really happening?' Hinata asked, still watching the two girls kissing. 'Is Sakura going to try and kiss me next? Is Ino? Are they both? Should I leave? Should I stay? Would doing this be cheating on Naruto-kun? No, not if we're all with him. Didn't Sakura say that we wouldn't be just sharing him? Are we supposed to share each other too? Is... isn't that the best way to make this work? Wouldn't we get along more if we were this open with each other? Will it feel good? They sure look like they're enjoying it. Really enjoying it.'

Dark Sakura and Ino parted, both breathing heavily and just staring at each other. Ino felt her friend's hands on her rear end and like with Naruto she made no effort to remove those hands.

"Wow, which Sakura wanted that?" Ino asked.

"Technically both of us, I'm just the one willing to act on it. But hopefully now when normal Sakura has the memory and pleasure, she'll like it as much as I did." Dark Sakura answered.

Ino regained her normal breathing speed and still chose to remain on top of her friend. She was confused but also aroused, not expecting that but she enjoyed it and like with Naruto she was highly in favor of a repeat performance. 'What does that mean? Am I bisexual? Am I just a slut who will be with anyone who arouses me? I don't know, sure I've seen others as cute or hot before but no one has ever truly aroused me before yesterday. No, I'm no slut, so does that mean I like Naruto and Sakura?'

"You okay Ino?" Dark Sakura asked, sensing her friend was conflicted.

Ino now moved off Dark Sakura and sat down. "I... I'm just asking myself some personal questions."

Dark Sakura sat up and patted her shoulder. "Don't feel bad. You're a great kisser, and you've got a killer bod. I'd love to have an ass and tits like you do." She then leaned closer. "If I can barely keep my hands off you, Naruto-kun's going to be putty in your hands in mere days. And maybe we can have a threesome. Or a foursome."

Ino blushed, but she couldn't resist a smile. "You know, maybe you're on to something. Maybe a harem is the best option."

Dark Sakura looked to Hinata and wiggled her eyebrows. "You want a turn too Hinata?" She opened her arms invitingly. "This time, you come to me."

The Hyuuga heiress did not move from her seat. Her heart raced and her mind went back and forth on the issue. After a bit she shook her head. "No thanks, I don't think I'm ready for something like that."

Dark Sakura put down her arms. "Alright, I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable. After all, I hope the three of us become very comfortable with each other someday."

Hinata and Ino shared a look, wondering what else hid in the dark recesses of Sakura's mind.
