I haven't forgotten about this story, just I have been working on what I felt like I could get chapters out for. But I'm back at it.
Like always I do not own Naruto or Shadow skill. I laughed when I went over the last chapter where it said I now own it. Lol I only wish lol.
Chapter 14
Narita was standing outside the study for needed to have a word with her uncle. Dais was inside the study having a couple words with Ibiki about what was going to happen that night and about Zabuza and Haku going under cover for them as their spies and about learning Vy has been behind all the attacks on the village and against Dais and Narita.
"Do you believe my niece will be safe?" Question Dais as he was looking a little nervous. He didn't like the idea of using the girl as bait.
"She will be fine. She is better train then any of the others in the group." Said Ibiki knowing this would put the King at ease.
"knock. Knock." At the door as both men turn and look to see who is there. As the door slowly open there is Narita.
"I'm sorry to interrupt you two. But I need to speak with well both of you. For I am not sure how Kakashi and the others will handle what I'm about to tell you two." Said Narita as she walks into the study in her battle ballgown.
Dais face softens as he notices how nervous the girls is looking. There was a hint a fear in her big beautiful eyes. "What is troubling you Narita?" He asks her.
Ibiki turns to look at her and sees something he hasn't seen in her eyes since she was a child and it troubled him.
Taking a deep and calming breath Narita begins to speak. "Well there is something very important I need to tell you." She tells them.
Ibiki arches a brow for her to go on.
"By the end of the Sevaar tournament I will become the new Kyubi no Kitsune. For Kurama is dying and he has been training for awhile to take over for him for awhile now and its almost time for me to take over. But I don't know how everyone is going to handle it for I will be getting ears and tails. Kurama said I will be getting about 5 or 6 tails to start off with and then I'll move up and if there was anyway for me to get the yang half from my dad. I would go right to 9 tails. But I am not in a rush for me only being 5 or 6 tails I would still be able to beat the 8-tails." Said Narita as she waited for the shit to hit the fan.
"So he is dying?" Asked Ibiki as he was wondering if a Biju could ever die.
"Wow. That is a lot to take in Narita." Said Dais as he was shocked.
"Yeah. I know. I have been trying to figure out away to tell you for a week now and Kurama told me I can't be putting it off any more for he will be gone at the start of the Sevaar tournament and he told me too many questions would be asked once everyone feels that massive chakra explosion that will happen on his death and he is going to try to wait for it to happen when I am center ring facing off against all the other hopefuls to scare them off." Said Narita as she looked down sheepishly.
Dais walks over to Narita and pulls the girl into a hug. "I will do whatever it takes for you once you have gone though your changes. If its to the point you have to leave your village. Then be it. You always have a home here in the Land of Demons or we can rebuild the land of Waves." He told her with a smile.
"Brat you are still the annoying little girl that would hide in my office and raise hell on my greenhorn ANBU. Some ears and tails will not change anything about that." Said Ibiki.
Narita smiles at him. "Thank you, Ibiki-sensei." She told him as he smiled at her.
Ballroom
All the young Genin are on the Dance floor dancing as the young Noblemen and woman have been asking them to dance. To Sakura's horror Sasuke wasn't to popular with the noble women as they saw he was too much like their brothers or fathers and they didn't feel like dealing with someone like that. Only the few that went to him left feeling like they wanted his head on a platter.
Kakashi stood off in the shadows watching for Narita and Dais to come walking in.
Just then the royal music begins, and Everyone stops dancing and moves off he dance floor and too the main entrance the large double doors opens as two figures are standing there.
"ALLOW ME TO BE THE FIRST TO INTERDUCE DAIS NAMIKAZE KING OF LAND OF DEMONS AND HIS NIECE AND CROWNED PRINCESS NARITA ELLA NAMIKAZE-UZUMAKI. THE DAUGHTER OF OUR LATE PRINCE MINATO AND HIS BRIDE PRINCESS KUSHINA UZUMAKI OF THE LAND OF WRILPOOLS." Said Vy as he had to play his part as he looked for his partner who was missing.
All bowed to the two and watches as Dais and Narita walked into the middle of the dance floor as the music began playing once more and they began to waltz around the dance floor as others slowly joined them on the dance floor.
Narita watched the others join them. She still felt nervous. She was never the girly type; she had always been a tomboy growing up.
Vy moved around the ballroom looking for Gato and saw Zabuza. Quickly he made his way to the talk man. "Where is your boss?" He asked him in a hushed voice.
Zabuza looks at the man talking to him as he was standing guard to the doors that lead out to the courtyard. "Do not ask me. I am not his keeper." He growled out as he watched a young noblemen walk out with a young girl out to the courtyard.
Vy looked annoyed at the large man before him but huffed and turned away walking away from him. 'Where is that bastard at?'
Gato came walking into the ballroom arriving late as he had some business he needed to handle before he could leave his office. For he had sent several of his thugs to the land of Waves to get his base set up and word to his son of his plans.
Vy spots the man and quickly makes his way over to him to greet the man. For he had made it his point to greet everyone there that evening so no one would think it was odd if he was off talking to someone. "Where have you been?" He demanded of the short of a man before him.
"I had business to take care of before I could leave the office." Said Gato as the looked at the young girl on his arm. "Go with them and wait for me." He ordered before he looked back at Vy. "I am not going to be here for much longer and need to get things ready for my arrive in the Land of Waves." He told Vy as if he was talking about the weather.
Vy nodded his head to this. "Very well. I thought you had backed out of our little arrangement at the last second." He told Gato as he was not going to go down on his own if things didn't go as planned.
Gato waved him off as he walked off to join his escort and his little group of people, he had brought with him to the ball.
Narita had spotted Vy talking to the tiny man and knew it was time. "It appears they are all here." She told her uncle as they went around the dance floor once more.
Dais shifted his hand just ever so slightly on Narita's back and it was the single for everyone to know that Vy and Gato had already talk and to move on to the next stage of the plan.
Haku went to Gato's table with the laced drinks for evil little troll and his guest. "Here you go sir." Said he severed them their drinks and walked away quickly for he wasn't going to take any blame if any of them get sick form the drug Anko had given him.
Anko was out in the courtyard letting lose several of her snake summons to take care of the men that Vy had lying in wait to attack during the ball. She looked over her shoulder and winked at Zabuza as he just gave her a feral grin. Anko walks up to him. "So when is your shift is over?" She asks him as she trails a finger over his chest looking up at him.
"After midnight when the ball is over, and all these drunk jackasses are gone." Said Zabuza as his snake down and smacked her ass from the shadows.
Anko grinned. "Well I'll be waiting for you then." She tells him as she walks off with an extra sway in her hips.
The snakes find there way to the men that belong to Vy for they are dressed different from the normal royal guards and attack them putting them all to sleep and numbing their bodies for a couple of days. As they finished their mission they go up in smoke as a small snake appears on Anko's shoulder. "Hiss… we are done." It told her as it vanished.
Anko flicks her golden fan as the signal the others her part of the mission was done.
"They are done uncle. All we have left is to take down Vy and Gato." Said Narita as she was ready to stop dancing.
"Very well." Said Dais as he leads Narita off the dance floor for the girl to get something to drink and rest.
Once Dais moved away from Narita all the unmarried man move in on Narita as if she was a piece of meat. She looks at them and rolls her eyes. 'Jeez really. Can't they just let me just relax for a minute.'
"Princess allow me to introduce myself." Said a young man with Silver hair and golden eyes. "My name is Dante Sparta." Said the young man as he was built different form all the soft looking noblemen around her.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Dante-san." Said Narita as she just want to switch places with someone. Anyone would do right now.
"May I have the next dance?" Asked Dante as he grinned at her.
"I am not sure. For my dance partner for tonight will be my uncle." Said Narita as she was hoping this would get them to leave her alone.
"Well then I will have to ask the King for a dance with you." Said Dante as he smirked and took a step back into the crowed of men to go find Dais.
The others began moving in on Narita as they made her feel like a caged animal. She catches sight of Sasuke and does a replacement with the teme. At least this way he could be use for her. Sasuke blinded as he was now surround by a large group of men. "What the hell is going on here?" He question as the men where looking confused as well as the lovely young woman they wanted to court was gone and replaced by this annoying young man.
Ino was standing next to Sasuke as they watched for any trouble as she felt chakra surround the raven hair boy and then there was Narita standing next to her. "So how is it going?" asked Ino.
"It's a nightmare. Those fools over there think that they can treat me like meat for them to fight over. Also there was a strange guy by the name of Dante that was trying to get a dance out of me and I'm not in the mood. Those battle heels are not meant for dancing." Said Narita as she just wanted to hide and maybe go off and train or nap for the changes are now taking effect and are making her tried. But Ella and Kurama are doing their best to keep her awake and on her toes for they knew there isn't want time for her to just sleep. But oh did she wish she could.
It was already 11pm and the ball was winding down and Vy and Gato sent their single to their hidden men for the attack. But after several minutes nothing happen.
"What the hell is going on?" Said an angry Vy to Gato as they saw Zabuza just chatting with some woman with purple hair and Haku was busy helping an old woman leave the ballroom.
Dais comes walking up behind the two men with Ibiki next to him. "It appears your plan to overthrow me has failed. All your men have been stopped. Their not died but they will not be awaking up anytime soon." He told the two as they both paled as Gato looked at those at his table to see them passed out or wide eyed with terror in their eyes as they couldn't move their bodies. The only one that was able to move was the young girl as she was trying to run away before being caught by her jailer.
Vy looks over at Dais. "How did you know?" He asked.
"You slipped up on one of your messages and we got it and now it's time to face your punishment as a man." Said Ibiki as he pulled out cuffs for both men before them.
Vy smirked. "Don't think so." He said as the Silver haired man Dante was now holding Narita by the neck with a dagger to her. "Just try and she will die." He tells them with a laugh.
Narita narrows her eyes as this man was able to sneak up on her. "No hard feelings doll. I was just paid to take you hostage. Nothing more. I'm not going to hurt you just hold you here for a while." He told her.
Annoyed Narita flared her new chakra and jumped up dropping her skirt onto Dante as she landed on his shoulders and began stomping him down into the ground and glaring over at Vy. "REALLY YOU BASTARD. DID YOU THINK THAT I WAS SO MUCH LIKE MY PINK HAIR TEAMMATE THAT WOULD LET SOME PRETTY BOY DROP MY GUARD?" She yelled at him. She drops down from his shoulder as she brings down her elbow down on the top of his head knocking the man out cold.
"What the hell is wrong with that girl?" Asked Vy as he looked at the tail that appeared behind Narita and the fox ears on her head. The fur is golden as her hair with crimson running though it and black tips on her ears and tails. The three tails swayed around her as she looked behind her.
"Well shit." Said Narita as she passed out.
