Chapter 15

The Kitsune is out of the bag

Dante laid on the ground knocked out from Narita's stomping as she laid on the ground passed out from her letting out her chakra and releasing her ears and first of many tails.

"What the hell just happen?" Asked Ino as she ran over to Narita. She needed to make sure her friend was okay and why she had ears and a tail now.

The others fallowed behind her as Ibiki had several of his ANBU take Gato and Vy into their custody. Kakashi was tying Dante up as he couldn't risk his mini Hokage again. He had slipped up tonight and wasn't as close as he planned to be. She was almost hurt because he was a fool thinking she was okay and that they had all of Gato's and Vy's men. Boy was he wrong.

Ino and Hinata checked Narita over as Kurenai and Anko did a simple medical jutsu to see if she was okay. With a sigh Anko looked over at the two worried girls as Sakura just fussed over Sasuke. "She will be fine. She released to much chakra and it just knocked her out." Said Anko as she smiled.

Kakashi and Dais walked over as Dais picked up Narita and carried her to her room. 'She is changing much quicker then she had expected. That means the fox will be gone soon. No I mean Kurama. For he has taken care of her for all her life and is giving her his power so she will be able to stand on her own without him.' Thought Dais as he must find a way to honor the great fox that had cared for his niece.

Shikamaru walked alongside Dais as he wanted to make sure there wasn't anymore surprise attacks on the girl. 'Troublesome. You think you know her, and she finds another way to surprise you. Now she is a troublesome vixen.' He thought with a chuckle as it did fit her well. She had always been very cunning as a fox and this isn't new for Narita to pull something like this. Just made him to be around her to see what else she would do next and the years to come.

Dais put Narita to bed as her handmaids got her changed out of her dress and into her night clothing. Hinata and Ino just watched on with the two Jonin making sure none of the girls helping the young princess would try to hurt her. Sakura could care less as she got changed for bed and went to bed. Not evening bothering to find out if her teammate was alright.

Narita's Mindscape

Kurama laid in his forest with his golden collar slowly fading away as a man with golden hair stood before him and a woman with long crimson hair stood at his side. The woman placed her hand on Kurama's cheek. "Oh my dear friend. I am sorry that it had to come to this." Said the woman as tears rolled down her cheek.

Ella had found Narita in a clearing wrapped in seven tails and with ears on her head. "Come on Kit. Let's get you to Kurama. You two need to be together during this time." She told Narita as she slowly open her eyes.

"I know. I'm so tired and I just want to see him before he goes. I will miss him so much grandma." Cried Narita as she held on to the woman that was helping her to her best friend and big brother and at times father figure.

"I know dear girl. That is why I'm helping you. As well Kurama made several scrolls for me to help you will and gave you all his memories that will unlock when the time comes." Said Ella as she knew with Kurama and Narita forcing out that much chakra he had cut his lifespan by a day or by hours. She wasn't sure.

As the two walks up to where Kurama laid they found the man and woman standing before the greatest of all Biju's. The woman with crimson hair knelt before Kurama crying on his large furry cheek as the man with golden blonde hair hand his hand on the woman's right shoulder. "I'm sorry we couldn't have done more to save him. If only I had been stronger this would have never happened to them." Said the man as he had a single tear roll down his cheek.

"The mighty 4th cries for a Biju." Chuckled Kurama as he open his crimson eye to look at the couple before him as well, he could fell his kit near him.

"Don't pretend we didn't get along at times Kurama. I am sorry for sealing you the way I did. If only I could go back. I would change things." Said the 4th as he looked down with sorrow in his eyes for the Great fox before him.

"It is fine. Things happen for a reason. That fool of your student wanted me and was pretending to be Madara." Said Kurama as a shocked expression was on both the peoples faces as Narita just heard a little but all she heard was Madara for Ella had whispered something drawing her to what her grandmother was saying.

"What was that grandma?" Question Narita as she looked at the woman a little puzzled.

Ella smiled looking at the girl. "I said your parent's are here." Was all she said as she watched the girl look a little puzzled at this.

"My-my parents?" Question a shocked Narita as she pushed off of Ella and slowly walked on her own over to Kurama. As she almost fell to the ground one of his nine-tails caught her and brought her over to him. She held on to his tail for dear life as she never wanted to let him go.

"I'm sorry my kit. I have shortened my time with you. Without my other half. I will be gone sooner then expected." Said Kurama as sorrow was heard in his voice. HE didn't want to go not yet. Not until he knew she was strong enough. Not until he knew she would fight anyone who comes for her. Not until he knew that All those that cursed her the day she was born where all dead.

"Kurama." Cried out Narita as she jumped from his tail and hugged his neck. She began crying as she didn't want to lose him now. Not now after all they have been though.

Her parents just watched their daughter cry for the poor soul before them. They knew Kurama was a chakra beast and all. But he also had a soul for all the love and care he had shown their daughter. They respect him for that.

"Its fine kit. We still have until the tournament before I go. But I will be sleeping until then." Said Kurama as he wanted to put her at ease.

"But I already have my ears and tails. Didn't you say once I got them you would go?" Question Narita as she was confused and angry and just depressed.

"Yeah I did. But if you sleep for about a day or two. It will help me and then we can show those fools whose the Queen of all Biju's and Queen of all Demons." Said Kurama with a smirk in his voice.

Narita chuckled with tears going down her cheeks as she pulled back and looked into his crimson eyes. "You promise?" She asked him.

He just nodded his head. He just hope death would allow him this much.

Kushina watched her daughter with Kurama and couldn't help but cry some more. She wasn't really there for the girl to give her a hug and hold her after she wake up. For she was going though so much. All she wanted right now was to be the mother she was meant to be. All before it was stolen from her. Because of a whiny asshole who was throwing a big shitfit about something she could give a damn about.

"Kit I am going to rest now. We will talk more soon." Said Kurama as he felt weak and closed his crimson eyes.

"If only I could find away to get his other half of his soul from the Shinigami. He would have more time." Said Minato as he was making a fist. He didn't want to see his daughter crying when there could be something that he and his wife could be doing for her and the Kurama.

Narita turned around and for the first time really noticed her parents standing there looking at her and Kurama. There was a slight blush on her cheeks. She was embarrassed for not really noticing them as all her focus was mostly on Kurama.

Kushina had a teary smile as she looked at her daughter. The girl had grown up so beautiful. "My baby girl. I am so sorry." She said as she pulled Narita into a bear hug. There was no fighting it. She was trapped and right now. She didn't want to fight it. All she wanted to do was cry and that is what she did. She cried on her mother's shoulders until she couldn't cry no more.

Minato turned to the woman of to the side just watching his wife and daughter. He slowly walked up to her. "She is truly your Reincarnation?" He asked Ella as she just nodded her head to him.

"Yes she is... Thus far as proven to be stronger then I have been at her age." Said Ella as her eyes never left Narita or Kushina.

Minato nodded his head to this. What Kurama had shown them before Narita had shown up. Was the girl being stronger then all three of them put together and he was feeling useless at the moment to help her.

Ella looked at her grandson. "Don't feel bad. This is part of life." She told him.

"I know but I feel useless. It is my fault that Kurama is dying in the first place." Said Minato as he turned back to look at Ella.

She had a questioning look in her eyes for him to go on.

With a sigh Minato spoke. "The night I sealed Kurama in her. I only sealed half of him. For the other half I took with me in death. Now I'm wondering if there is a way to get his other half before it is too late." He told her.

"There might be. But She will need to go to the shrine of Demon's and call forth the Shinigami. There she could ask him for Kurama's other half." Said Ella looking away.

"I'll do it." Said Narita as she pushed away from her mother. "I will do whatever it takes to get him back to him back to me." She said as she slowly began to fade away from them.

Narita's Room

It was now Dawn and Dais was sitting outside of Narita's room. He wanted to know how she was doing. He had been there for over thirty minutes waiting. He had almost gone in several times but stopped each time remembering she had a shared room and it wouldn't be right of him just storming in there.

Just as he let out another sigh the door slowly opened up and there before him in her seven-tail glory was Narita. She seem shocked to see him there waiting for her or anyone to come out of the room.

Both Ino and Hinata had woken up as they heard movement and saw Narita leaving the room. Quickly they dressed and fallowed after their friend. Which they bumped into as she was still standing in the open door looking at her Uncle before her.

"Uncle what are you doing here?" Asked Narita as she was a little worried about something else might have happen.

He smiled at her. "I have been worried about you. You fainted last night after stomping Dante to the ground." He told her as he saw her blush a little.

"Yeah sorry about that." She said as she turned around to look at Ino and Hinata. "What are you two doing up?" She asked them.

"We saw you leaving and got worried." Said Ino as Hinata nodded her head to her friends words.

"What are you doing out of bed?" Asked Shikamaru as he stepped out of the shadows that he had himself wrap in.

She looked down at her clawed hands and back up at them with a fire in her eyes. "I need to go to the Shine of Demons." She told them.

"Why?" Asked Dais as he was now worried.

"I need to speak to the Shinigami. I need to get the other half of Kurama's soul from my father. He is dying and I'm afraid he will be gone before the day is done. I can't lose him just yet." Cried Narita as she looked up to Dais.

He sighed and nodded his head. "Let us go now. It will be about an hour walk to the shrine for no horse or oxen will go near the place." He said as he turned to lead the girl and her friends to the shrine.

I think I will leave off here. Next chapter will the Shinigami grant her request or will she have to fight to save the one she loves.
