Chapter 21

Knight of Sparta vs Self-proclaimed Prince of Konohagakure no Sato

"The First match of the day will be Dante Sparta vs Sasuke Uchiha." Called out Dais as he smirked seeing the white hair man give him a thumbs up as he know everyone wanted to kick the shit out of the snot nose brat.

Sasuke walked out of the room they all sat in. "I will show you who is your bester loser." He hissed out. Forgetting how he almost was killed not that long ago.

Dante just looked over at him with a bored expression on his face. "In your dreams little boy." He said with a laugh as he walked into the center of the arena looking around at the crowd and locked eyes with Narita who was now standing with her Uncle as Dais wanted her to come up with him to speak to a few things.

Sasuke fallowed the line of sight of where Dante was looking. His eyes laid on Narita as she rolled her eyes at the Uchiha and winked at Dante which just served to Infuriate Sasuke even more. "Stop looking at her loser." He growled out.

Dante looks over at Sasuke with a large smirk on his face. "Whose going to stop me?" He question as Sasuke glared ever more at him.

"I'll stop you. For I am the Elite." Hissed out Sasuke as got into his stance ready to fight the man before him. If he won, this. This would show the girl that he was right for her.

"ARE YOU TWO READY?!" Question Narita as she took a step forth looking down at the Arena as the crowd cheered at the two fighters and for the Princesses words.

The two fighters nodded their heads. "ALRIGHT GET READY…FIGHT!" Yelled Narita as the two jumped back from each other.

Sasuke pulled out two kunai getting ready to throw them at Dante. But in a flash of crimson Dante was behind Sasuke with a gun pointed at the base of his skull. "Do you fell lucky punk?" Asked Dante with a smirk on his face.

Sasuke paled and quickly switched places with Kurama's robe that was still hanging on the door where he was standing waiting for the matches to begin. He let the breath he was holding out. Looking around to see the robe fall to the ground before Dante's gun. He smirks and throws the two Kunai at the man.

Dante took a step back as the kunai passed him. He looked over at Sasuke and shook his head at the foolish boy. Sasuke went thought a set of hand signs getting ready to unleash a fire jutsu at the white hair man. But before Sasuke could unleash the fire jutsu on him Dante vanished and appeared behind Sasuke raising his right foot and kicked the fool behind his head. Sending him sailing across the arena floor into the wall underneath where Narita and the other stood. Narita hung over the railing and looked down and saw Sasuke sticking out of the cold stone wall.

"WINNER DANTE SPARTA!" Yelled Narita as she jumped down to the arena floor taking a stick to poke Sasuke with it.

Up in the stands Sakura watched on with shook. Her Sasuke-kun was weak and got his ass handed to him. What the hell?! Smoke could be seen coming out of her ears as if her brain short circuited.

Dante came walking over to Narita and the downed Sasuke. "I believe he is still alive." Said Dante as he watched on as Narita kept poking him as the medics came running to take the boy away to be treated for his injures.

"Maybe this will keep him out of the Chunin Exams. For the fool isn't ready for any of this shit." Said Narita as she looks up at Kakashi who looks away sheepishly as she knew what the man was planning once the Chunin Exam came rolling around.

"Well I could always come back with you to the village and take his place on your team." Said Dante with a cheeky grin on his face.

Narita looked up at him with a little blush on her cheeks. "I don't know if it works that way." She told him as she turned around and jumped onto the wall to return to her Uncle as she didn't know how to handle this flirting man before her. Was he a man or a teenager?

Dais looked at his niece as she was now jumping over the railing. He noticed the slight blush on her cheeks. His eyes narrowed at the man that stood down in the arena grinning and laughing as he was now turning and returning to the second arena fighters holding area.

Shikamaru narrowed his eyes as he watched from the shadows of the first fighters area. He didn't like how this man was flirting with Narita. He knows he has feelings for the girl and has been trying to let her know. But would she return them? He let out a sigh. "Troublesome." He whispered as Ino and Hinata watched him. They both worried for their friend.

"We need to talk to with Narita." Whisper Ino to Hinata as she just nodded her head. They couldn't stand by and not do anything.

"So what did he tell you?" Asked Kakashi as he didn't like the way the man was flirting with Narita. She looks up at him with a grin.

"Oh that he wants to return to the village and fill in for Sasuke until he is able to rejoin the team." Said Narita as she looked out the corner of her eye to see Dante vanish from her line of sight. But she could see Shikamaru looking up at her with sad eyes. Eyes that held hurt but also something else. Something she would have to figure out or just ask him once they are both alone.

Kakashi dropped his book. His single eye wide as he looks at the girl that stood before him. "He wants to return to the village with us?" He question not knowing how to feel about this.

Narita just nodded her head. Not sure of what the hell was happening. "Yeah." She said.

Kurama appeared before them in a ring of crimson flames. "It is natural for a Demon's Knight to follow after his Master. His father was once a Knight of mine." He said with a smirk.

"Do you approve of him flirting with Narita?" Question Kakashi acting like an annoying older brother.

Kurama looks at the cyclops of a man. "No. But it isn't for you and I. To say who she talks to or flirts with." He said with annoyance in his voice as he was tried of a whinny Kakashi.

"He is right. All we can do is trust in Narita." Said Kurenai as she didn't want the morons before her to push the girl into the arms of a man she doesn't love.

"At the end of the day. I do have the final say in all of this. For now. I wouldn't mind being his friend." Said Narita as she turned her back to them all.

Kakashi looked ready to argue. But one look from Kurenai stopped him. He knew whatever he said could and would blow up in his face. For an Ice Queen was glaring at him and keeping him silent.

Yay short chapter but it's done.
