Chapter 24
Narita walked over to the Hokage's desk looking over at Onoki looked at the two men flanking the young Princess from the Land of Demon's, Konoha, as well as the Land of Whirlpools. "Hello old men. Missed me?" She question with a grin on her face.
Zabuza stood to Narita's left as Dante stood to her right. The two elderly Kage's looked at the blonde/red head and to the two men as well as the other man with long crimson hair standing behind them.
"Narita. It is a pleasure to have you back in the village. But Princess I do have several questions for you." Said Sarutobi as he kept his eyes on the girl's ears and tails dancing behind her.
"Sure thing." Said Narita sitting down on the chair next to Onoki.
"My dear. Why do you have the missing Shinobi Zabuza with you as well as the bounty Hunter Dante?" Question Sarutobi as he then looked at the other man standing behind her. "As well who is the gentlemen standing behind you?" He looked a little worried about him.
Narita grinned. "Well Zabuza is part of my Royal Guards as well as his student Haku. Dante is also part of my Royal and Demonic Guard. As for the one standing behind me. Well that is Kurama, the former Nine-tail Biju that I replaced." She told him as Onoki's eyes grew larger at hearing the girl had become the new nine-tail Biju. "That is why I have fox ears and nine-tails dancing behind me." She added as she saw the old man next to her about ready to have a heart attack.
"Well Dais failed to notify me when he sent word of your return to the village." Said Sarutobi as he felt like he had aged another 80's years just in the moment of the girl entering his office. "I do wonder. Are you planning on being a Shinobi of our village still?" He asked her as he didn't know how to feel about her have two personal bodyguards.
Narita smirked. "Well yeah I'm going to stay as a Shinobi of this village. I don't feel like playing Princess. I just have those I trust as my personal guard as I'm going to have a shit storm now that word is out about me." She said with a sigh.
"I see. I do have a question. Do you feel up to taking a mission in a few days' time?" Question Sarutobi just speaking to her and ignoring all others in the office.
"Well. Yeah I'm up for another mission." Said Narita as she tilted her head to the side. "But do I take my team or do I get to build my own for this mission. As well will I have a cover mission so I can enter where I'll be heading under cover?" Asked Narita as everyone looking at the girl now. She was acting if she was a Jonin or ANBU. But she was just a basic Genin.
Onoki studied the girl next to him. 'She acts silly and a little like a little bit of a princess. But when it comes to what needs to be done. She get's down to business. She will make a great leader someday.' He thought to himself.
"Well it will take a couple days, but we will find you a cover to enter the Land of Waves. As Onoki has come to our village seeking aid in saving his Granddaughter from Gato Jr." Said Sarutobi.
Narita's eyes harden at hearing that name. "I thought I killed that bastard back in the Land of Demon's, but he had to have a kami freaking son." She growled out as her tails danced around her as her blue eyes turned crimson. "I'll take the mission. But I want to build my own team and pick a Jonin to come with us." She told the Hokage as she was now acting like a commander.
"Very well. I'll give you two days to put that team together. I'll also give you a list of Jonin in the village that can go with you and might work well with the team you maybe putting together." Said the 3rd Hokage looking at her with a proud smile on his face.
Narita nods her head to his words. "I will let you know this now. Dante and Zabuza will be part of my team. For I have a feeling I will need several heavy hitters to back me up. For if Gato Jr. is anything like his father. He will hire strong missing shinobi and I'm not going in their blind." She told the old man.
"Very well my dear." Said the 3rd. "You may head home." He said as she stands up and bows to him and leaves the office to think of the team she will be putting together for this mission.
Sakura stood their stun at what she just heard. "HOW IN THE HELL IS SHE ALLOWED TO DO AS SHE PLEASES?! Why are not going as a team?!" She demand.
Everyone looks at her. "She is now holds the title of Savvier. It proves she is as strong as our three Sannin. That also give her the right to take missions on her own and make teams if she needs." Said Anko with a shit eating grin on her face.
"Yes, even though she is still a Genin. Naruto is now able to take higher ranking missions on her own. She can choose to take her teammates or make a team up. But she is still part of your team. Until we know what is happening. Team 7 you will have the next several days off." Said the 3rd Hokage getting tried of the entitlement of some of his own kami forsaking Genin of his village.
Before leaving the Hokage Tower Narita made several shadow clones hedge as different people telling them to get some shopping done as there was no food in the house. They take the money scroll and vanish into the village.
"My Queen?" Question Dante.
Narita looks up at him. "I am not the most well liked person in the village. Even though I am a Princess from different lands and of this village. I still have people here that would rather see me dead." She told the silver hair man standing next to her.
"My kit hasn't had the easiest life in this village. But she still love this hell hole. Why I will never understand." Said Kurama letting out a sigh.
Zabuza just watches the people around them as they part like a wave to allow the four to walk though the village. Some villagers looking at the girl with hate and disgust as others look at her with fear and very few look at her with kind eyes. He makes a fist wanting to take his sword and cut them all down. They could return to the land of Demon's for protection.
"It isn't worth it." Said Narita seeing what Zabuza was thinking. "Just let them be fools. The day will come that they will know their hate had been missed placed." She told him placing her hand on his arm stopping him from taking his sword into his hand.
He let's out a sigh. "Fine." Growled out Zabuza.
The villagers watch as the demon of the village is flanked by the former Demon of the Bloody Mist, The Silver Demon Dante a Crimson hair man that is built like a God and a young woman walking along side the crimson hair man. What was going to happen to their village now that the demon was building an army of her own demons and one poor soul. As many prayed for the young girl to get away from them.
"Well kit. We need to figure out who would work well for this rescue mission of yours." Said Kurama looking at his kit.
Narita looks back to him. "I need heavy hitters, which I think you guys will do fine with doing that for me. I need speed as well as a planner. For I fairly good at it. But I need someone that could plan for everything." She said looking back at the others.
"Why not the Nara and his little teammates." Said Zabuza. "Nara's are known for their planning, the blonde girl from her clan of mind walkers would come in handy if we catch one of the bastards higher up guards to learn the layout of the building, they are held up in. The large boy would also help with the heavy hitting. But that still leaves us needing speed." He said thinking.
"How about the Hyuuga princess. She can move quickly." Said Dante looking at his mistress.
"I think that would work. Now I just need a Jonin to go with us." Said Narita biting on her bottom lip.
"Why not take Ibiki or Anko." Said Haku looking over at the girl.
"Anko's snakes would come in handy. But Ibiki would have fun torching the little bastard." Said Narita thinking out loud.
"Why not both of them." Said a voice from behind the group.
They stop and turn to see Shikamaru and his team as well as team 8 walking behind them. "Hey guys." She Narita smiling at them all.
"We heard what you are planning, and I think that would work." Said Shino as he pushes up his glasses.
Narita blushes looking away from her friends. "You guys really think so?" She asked them.
"Yeah. We do." Said Ino walking up to Narita pulling the girl into a hug as Hinata stood next to them.
"I…I do agree with your plan and it would get me out of the village away from my clan." Said Hinata blushing as she didn't really want to return home to all those pricks.
"Very well. Once I am home. I will send a shadow clone to the Hokage with those who I have chosen for my team." Said Narita smiling at everyone.
Kiba grins. "Just make sure next time you get a mission that will need my and Shino's skills." He told her.
Narita nods her head to the feral boy. "I will. I'm only glad you all trust me with leading this mission." She tells them all.
"You proved yourself in the Land of Demon's. We just can't wait to see what you can do during the Chunin Exams." Said Kiba with another grin on his face.
Narita's eyes widen. "That is coming up soon. We all need to train to get stronger and make it to the finals. For what I have seen though the years of the exam when it was held here. It is extremely hard to pass." She told them all. But they all grinned and nodded their heads. For once their friends return, they will get down to training in groups and on their own.
They just laughed at her antics. "Well we better head home and get ready for our new mission in the next few days." Said Shikamaru with a smirk on his face.
Narita nodded to them as they all left her with her personal guards.
It was early the next morning when Tazuna made it to the village. The two guards look at the tried old man. "May we help you sir?" Question on of the guards.
"Yes. I am here to request a protection mission." Said Tazuna.
"Very well sir. This Chunin here will take you to the Hokage Tower to put in a mission request." Said the gate guard.
Tazuna nodded his head to the man and followed the other man to the center of the village. 'Finally Kami, I have made it to the help we need.' He thought as he closed his eyes and let out a sigh of all the pain he held within his soul.
Sitting at the mission request desk was the Hokage looking over mission scrolls for the land of Wave.
"Hokage-sama. A traveler has a mission request." Said the Chunin with a bow.
The elderly Hokage looks up from his work. "Ah, yes. Please have a seat sir and please tell me what you maybe needing." He said with a kind smile on his face.
Tazuna sits down before the old man. "I need to hire a team to protect my works on the bridge I am building in the Land of Wave to the Land of Fire. For we have been getting attacked by bandits and others looking for quick cash." He said hoping this would work.
The Hokage grinned. "Well Kami has answered my prayers. For I was looking for a mission for a team I am sending to the Land of Wave." Said the Hokage to the shocked man sitting across from him.
"Really?" Tazuna asked half shocked.
"Yes. We have gotten reports of trouble happening there. But our hands are tied when something like that happens as we are not allied with your land. So we can aid unless asked." Said the Hokage.
Tazuna dumbly nodded his head to the man before him. 'Should I tell him the truth?' he thought with a sigh. "The truth is we need help to free our home from Gato Jr. we don't have to money for an A-rank mission. I we only had enough for a C-rank mission. So I lied in hopes the team would still aid us." He said looking away with shame written across his face.
Onoki walks into the room. "I will pay for his mission as well." He said looking at the man sitting before the Hokage.
"They need the help, and we have the money they need." Said Onoki looking at his personal body guard who needs his head to this.
Tazuna's head snaps around to the man standing before him. "Thank you, sir. You have saved us all from the grasps of evil man." He said with tears in the corner of his eyes.
Onoki waved him off. "We are will be using as a cover to get the team onto the island. For we don't want to tip our hand of the second mission that will be happening." He said with a heavy sigh.
"If it means they kill the bastard. I don't care. I will work as their cover and safe house until their mission and the mission for myself is done." Said Tazuna.
Onoki nodded his head to this. "Very well. But once Gato Jr. is dead. Quickly finish that bridge of yours for I will not wait forever." He told the bridge builder as he turned a walked away with his hands held behind his back.
'Let's see what the new Nine-tail's can do.' Thought Onoki as he vanished down the hallway returning back to the Hokage's office.
"I will get the mission scroll drafted and sent to Narita and her team." Said the 3rd Hokage now standing up.
"Thank you Hokage-sama." Said Tazuna.
"Your welcome the Princess and her team will meet you soon. So for now please follow one of my ANBU to the hotel for our clients and have a rest and eat something." Said the Hokage as Tazuna nods his head not listening to the part about a princess.
This missions to the land of wave. Now I have to figure out who to hire to take the Place that Zabuza would have taken.
