Sorry I have been missing for a while. I have been in the hospital for a week and just been a busy month. Had to have emergency surgery to remove to infected molars. It was not fun as if they didn't take it out as soon as they did it would have infected my jaw bone.

So yeah, that is where I have been.

Chapter 28

Sitting in a dark office with a single lamp on sitting on the desk, a man looks at a photo of a young woman with long blonde locks with red highlights and beautiful blue eyes. "So this is the "Runaway Princess"." Said the man as he looks up at the raven hair man sitting on the couch with a sword resting on his right shoulder.

"Yes, that is the "Runaway Princess" from the Land of Demons. I was lucky to get the photo of her during their festival." Said the Raven hair man.

"Well Law. I want you bring her to me." Said the man as he places the photo back down on his desk.

"Fine. But will cost you." Said the now named Law. Law slowly raises from the couch and leaves the dark room to creepy man that has his eyes set on the young royal.

"Soon my dear you shall be mine and all the power that you have shall be mine. I shall finish what my father has began in the Land of Demons and I shall be the King of that Land as you are the pretty little puppet and breeding horse." He tells himself with a nasty laughter.

With Narita and the others

Ban and Tora look at each other. "I believe it will be the best that we leave you now my Princess." Said Ban as he knells before Narita.

"Alright. Be sure to find out who's the missing shinobi the bastard has hired." Said Narita with a soft smile as Ban takes her hand and kisses it and Dante and Zabuza hold Kurama back. Ban smirks looking over at the fuming Kurama.

"Relax Kurama. I shall respect our lady. Anyways I am already spoken for." Said Ban as he jumps back dodging a flaming tail and lands on a tree branch.

"My Queen I shall return soon." Said Tora quietly as he bows and jumps into the trees to catch up with his teammate for the mission he has been given.

Narita sighs. "Things are going to get difficult from here. For I have a sinking feeling we will be dealing with Law for I have heard though the spy network Law has been seen around here." She tells the others. As a fox kit sits on her shoulder whispering something to her.

"Well who ever said this mission was going to be simple." Said Dante with a cocky grin on his face.

"But she does have a point if that fox is telling her what it has heard from the spies." Said Shikamaru.

"Yeah. But I am sure we can handle this man." Said Haku with a sigh.

"Alright people. We need to get moving once more." Said Ibiki as he takes center stage. We need to make this mission appear we are just doing a simple protection detail and you three are the kids protection detail that her Uncle wants with her at all times. Do you understand me?" He questions looking at them with his stone cold black eyes.

With that said the mission slowly got back on track. With now Ban and Tora gone to see if they could join the little troll's sickening son.

Tazuna looks at Narita. "Why?" He questions out of the blue as he Narita looks at him confused.

"Why what?" Questions Narita as she smiles slightly.

"Why not go and live a life inside a Palace. Where it is safe and become a Queen. Why put yourself in danger so needlessly?" Question Tazuna as he just keeps looking at the blonde with red hair.

Narita's soft smile saddens as she looks at Tazuna. "I am not a Princess or a Queen. I am a street rat and now a Kitsune girl that will become something more in the future." She told the old man.

Everyone had gone quiet as they also wanted to know what she would tell the old man.

"As well who will ever see a demon like myself as a Queen or even a Princess?" Said Narita looking at Tazuna with a bright smile that hides so much pain and fear that she has bottled within herself though her childhood.

"A child like yourself should have never been seen or called a demon. Why don't you stay in my homeland and take over as our Lord and become our Princess or I should say Queen." Said Tazuna with a soft but hopeful smile on his face.

"That is a lovely idea. But I am a warrior, a shinobi. I am best suited for the battlefield. I am able to wage warrior with the best of them on the political battle ground. But I would grow bored and wish to be free once more to be a shinobi." Said Narita.

Tazuna chuckles. "I am an old drunken fool has been placed in the place of a Lord to speak for my land and her people. To seek their freedom from an insane madman who wishes to take over all the underworld and our ports and island are in the best location for that." He tells her with a dry laugh.

"I can aid you until your village is finally standing on her own and your land and people are free. I shall act as her Shadow Lord while I am here." Said Narita with a soft smile. "But I am not sure if I will stay as, it's Shadow Lord when we are done with our mission." She adds as she sees the hope spark up within his eyes.

"We shall see then my dear." Said Tazuna with a chuckle as he takes another drink from his bottle of sake.

'Narita what is your end game here?' Is a thought shared by select few members of the mission as they just watch the blonde chatter on with the old drunk.
