Chapter 25

It was now early afternoon in West City, as the sun shone down brightly on the familiar dome-shaped building of Capsule Corporation. The day was passing by as normal, with everyone going about their business as usual and with there being no disturbances in sight. From inside the Briefs family home, Bulma remained in the comforts of her laboratory keeping her frazzled mind occupied with various activities, be it paperwork, messing around with old machinery, or brainstorming ideas for new inventions. It was a never-ending cycle. Perhaps she was pushing herself a little harder than she normally would, but as long as she got her mind off that incident, she didn't really care how much time was spent in here.

Her day turned out to be a little crazy. Tights for one, was pestering her for information about Goku's change of appearance during his confrontation with Chichi. She could come up with a million lies, but nothing could ever get her out of telling the truth to her sister. Not that she had any intention of lying to her sister, of course not. Bulma knew her dear sis deserved to know the truth, even if the truth was difficult to tell. So she sat her down on the sofa and gave a lengthy explanation of Vegeta's true origins and the type of person he was long before they settled down. Not a single detail was left out, as Bulma explained to Tights everything she knew about the Saiyans. Needless to say, the elder sister was beyond shocked and actually needed some time to process everything. She just couldn't believe that her brother-in-law and nephew were part of some alien race. This would take some time to get used to. But despite the craziness of it all, she still admired them both. After explaining the whole story, Bulma excused herself to her lab with the purpose of clearing her mind.

Try as she might, after finishing one activity, Bulma would just be reminded of the heartbreaking event that happened way earlier. She plopped down on her leather chair and let out a long sigh as she mulled over Goku and Suno's breakup. It was totally unbelievable that this would happen so soon when they just announced their relationship during the party but... she couldn't find it in her heart to be upset with Suno for the way she reacted to the sight of seeing Goku as an enraged Super Saiyan and seeing him almost kill his wife. It was extremely hard on her to see her own partner like that for the first time, she could tell.

Never before had the scientist felt so conflicted in her life.

Despite the events that had transpired, she still had to move on with her daily activities, but it was just so hard to focus with the way things ended. She only wished that there was some way to help her childhood friend get back on track, as the court case was coming up soon and he had to be ready by then. 'What do I do? I can't just sit around and do nothing while Goku is suffering from this breakup…' The only thing she could do was hope that he could work things out with Suno and that both could put this whole thing behind them. They were clearly made for each other and it would be a total shame if this was truly the end of the line for them.

Bulma pushed aside a pile of paperwork as she tried to think of ways to help her childhood friend, tapping her pen against her desk in complete thought. Her eyes then shot up suddenly, as she became paralyzed with shock and horror. 'Wait a minute… Chichi could try something again! Provoking Goku into a Super Saiyan may not be the last. She'll stop at nothing till she gets what she wants! I've got to call the others and come up with a plan fast!' She slammed her hands on the desk and shot up from the leather chair, making a run for the door. As the scientist was racing for the exit, from the pocket of her lab coat she frantically fished out her cell-phone to dial the numbers of the z warriors.

She was soon pacing back and forth across the sitting area with her cellphone, fumbling around with the device in a complete panic. Her heartbeat became erratic as she tried so hard not to freak out, she couldn't even begin to imagine exactly what convoluted plan Chichi could cook up next.

While heavily distracted, she failed to notice the door to the gravity room opening and the Saiyan Prince coming out covered in sweat as usual after a heavy workout. He was on his way to take a shower when he turned his head back and noticed his preoccupied wife pacing around the room and raised an eyebrow at her in confusion, "What's the matter this time?" His foot rested on the staircase as he was about to climb up the stairs.

"I have to set up a meeting right now!" Bulma whipped her head at Vegeta in a frantic mode.

He blinked at her as if she had just lost her mind, "A meeting? Right now?"

"Yes!"

At that moment, Trunks casually walked into the living room after hearing his parents' current conversation. He spent most of his time cooped up in his room reading a science-fiction book his auntie let him borrow to help take his mind far from what happened earlier. "Mom, is something wrong?"

Bulma immediately caught sight of her young son's presence, "Trunks sweetie, get ready! I'm setting up a meeting right now!" She ushered.

"A meeting? You mean for what happened with Chichi?" Trunks questioned, baffled by the sudden order.

"Yes. It's possible that ruining Goku and Suno's relationship isn't the last of her plans. She could try something again!"

Trunks slammed the book shut and became serious, "Darn it! So the rest have to know about this! We need this meeting with everybody right now!"

His mother's attention was back on her phone, doing her best to get ahold of the whole gang in the quickest way possible. "I'm calling the others right now!"

"Alright. I hope Goten can come too."

Both Trunks and his father immediately departed from the sitting area to take a shower and prepare for the upcoming meeting. In the meantime, Bulma managed to contact some of the z warriors to meet up at Capsule Corp once more about Chichi's irruption earlier in the day.

'I can't believe this…' Bulma sank down on a single couch and ran her hands through her short blue hair. Her stomach felt like it was tied in knots and her face grew ashen as she struggled to comprehend the mess they now found themselves in. 'Kami, please guide us…'

What could Chichi do next to throw them off track?

A pair of eyes slowly flickered open, and Suno slowly arose from her bed after a long slumber. Faint voices reached her ears after she had just awoken. She first stared out the window with heavy eyelids, and saw how most of the village residents were so happy, cheerful and just going about their day despite the freezing weather while she… was just here in bed doing nothing. It was now the early afternoon here in Jingle Village, and Suno knew she had slept through the rest of the morning. Normally, she would have been in the same mood as the villagers but… she couldn't bring herself to smile one bit after the way she treated her love and humiliated him in front of his friends and sons.

The talk she had with her family had made her feel a little better but not for long, as she still had her doubts. And a lot of them. Before trying to sleep, she kept on trying to convince herself that maybe she could fix all this in no time. Now her mind was constantly filled with horrible, painful dreams of how they all despised her after this, and she couldn't even blame them if they really did. Back at the party, she had earned everyone's trust and respect but now… she was pretty certain that she had destroyed the trust they once had for her. Now that she knew the whole truth, could she really win him back? Could she really persuade everyone of what really happened? What if… Goku also resented her? The thought of her boyfriend no longer loving her like before felt like a fatal blow to her chest. Now she was curled up like a ball on the edge of her bed, with her face buried in both her hands.

This was one moment in her life that she really felt so lonely… and helpless. She wildly wished that her boyfriend was right here by her side… and they were both enjoying the day together. Be it just going on another date, or maybe taking a leisurely walk around the village. She continued to mourn in silence over the loss of her relationship for a long while. 'Goku… I'm so sorry for hurting you… I just want things to go back to the way they were… I shouldn't have said those awful things to you…'

The smell of food from the kitchen broke Suno of her unpleasant thoughts. She didn't have much of an appetite, but she still had to be at the table otherwise, her family would eventually be worried about her. She stood up from her bed and walked to her bathroom barefooted. Her miserable expression could be seen through the mirror, with dark spots under her eyes and her hair all messed up. All she did was to repeatedly splash water all over her face, then she walked out of the room while drying herself off with a towel. Putting on her flip-flops, she miserably made her way to the kitchen, where she found her mother finishing up lunch while Eighter was helping set the table.

"H-Hey mom, h-hey dad, h-hey Eighter…" Suno forced a smile as she slowly came into view of her family, giving them a tiny wave.

Kaiyo just switched off the stove and placed a hot, steaming bowl of fried rice on the table when she noticed her daughter standing there still dressed in her sleepwear… and not in the usual cheery mood. She was clearly still feeling down in the dumps over this incident. Seeing her daughter like this, shattered the elderly woman's heart and as such she paused her action of setting the table and hurried over to her only daughter, grabbing her hands and staring deep into her saddened eyes. She then pulled her into a comforting hug.

"Oh honey, it'll be okay…"

"I don't know about that mom… Goku's friends and sons for sure will hate me, and maybe Goku himself… I don't know how I'm going to fix this mess…"

The elderly woman released her daughter from the hug and stared at her firmly, "Listen to me honey. You don't have to feel guilty for this. At all. You've been so kind to him since he moved in with us for the time being. I've seen how you've always put a smile on his face even before you two became a couple. After learning of his struggles, you were always there to listen and provide support for him."

"Your mother's right Suno." Hiroshi set his newspaper on the dining table and made his way over to his heartbroken daughter. "What happened involving Goku's wife was unfortunate, but you were not the only one who fell for that."

"There's absolutely nothing to worry about. No matter what happens, I'll be here for you through this so don't lose hope!" Eighter said with comfort, soon appearing behind his friend.

Suno felt her throat closing up and before she knew it, she looked away from her family as tears were dripping down her face. "Thank you guys… it means a lot to me…"

"It's not a problem honey, now why don't you sit down and relax while we finish up here? Then you can eat something quick so you and Eighter don't get to West City too late!" Kaiyo held her by the shoulders as she looked towards the lunch on the table. There was no way she was allowing her daughter to leave the house on an empty stomach.

Her family gathered round her for a hug, but the only way she knew she would be really better was when things were back to normal. With her and Goku together again as a romantic couple.

Lunch was now fully ready and Kaiyo, Hiroshi and Eighter worked together to set the rest of the food on the table. Suno relaxed nearby and waited at the insistence of her family while they worked on everything. It didn't take long before they were done at last and the two elderly parents called their daughter over to come join them for an appetizing lunch. The family ate, drank and talked together. Suno didn't eat much and she had been picking at her food for quite a while, and also not even paying much attention to what was said at the table which worried her family, but they didn't want to force her to engage nor eat more than what she was satisfied with.

Seeing how messy their table had become after their peaceful lunch, Suno offered to help out before getting herself ready but both her parents instantly shot down the offer for help, reminding her that she had more important matters to tend to and that if she wanted to arrive at West City early enough, now was a good time to leave. Before leaving, Suno thanked both her parents for the amount of support they had given her and expressed her hope of being able to clear the air.

Without wasting any more time, Suno hurried up to her bedroom for a quick shower and a change of clothes. In no time at all, she was back in the dining room while both her parents were already at work with the dirty dishes. After saying goodbye to them both, she then ran out the door where Eighter was already waiting for her standing on the freezing and snowy porch. The android smiled at his friend before putting an arm around her, guiding her through the rough terrain of snow as they were on their way to Capsule Corp.

To make things normal again.

Within less than an hour, almost everyone who was present at the party and the confrontation arrived at Capsule Corporation: Gohan, Goten, Videl, Yamcha, Puar, Piccolo, Krillin, Eighteen and Marron. They were all warmly welcomed by Panchy, Tights and Dr. Briefs. Not everyone could make it to the scene though, having currently been occupied with their own activities. Mr. Satan had to remain in his place as he needed to train his students at the dojo, while Tienshinhan and Chiaotzu wanted to catch up on their training. Master Roshi and Oolong opted to stay behind at Kame House but Bulma promised to keep them informed on any new developments. Erasa and Sharpener were also unable to attend this meeting. They were both invited by Gohan, but they declined their friend's invitation because of school. Both however, wished him the best of luck and told him they would be waiting for more new updates on the situation. In the end, they also promised to pass all notes and homework assignments from school since both Gohan and Videl would be missing classes as a result of this. It wasn't a problem for the couple as they would easily be able to catch up.

"Hi guys! What brings you all here?" Tights greeted the group, waving at them as she did so.

"Hey Tights!" Krillin returned the greeting with a small smile. "Bulma just called us for an important meeting."

"Where is she?" Eighteen wondered, looking around the premises while securely holding Marron in her arms.

"Oh, she's in the living room. Come on everybody." Tights turned around and headed back inside the building, with the rest in tow.

All of them arrived in the sitting area where they met with Bulma who had just taken a shower to have a much more formal appearance. Vegeta and Trunks were with her as well, with serious looks on both their faces as the family were all seated together on the sofa. Everyone else took seats also as they were ready to get right down to business.

Yamcha was the first to break the silence, greeting the scientist with a serious tone of voice. "Hi Bulma! We came as soon as you called us."

"That's right," Gohan nodded, also sporting a serious expression. "And I'm guessing this is about what happened earlier."

With his arms folded across his chest Vegeta continued while eyeing the group, "If she thought about setting up this meeting, it's because she's onto something."

Panchy meanwhile, had just brought a tray of coffee and her famous homemade chocolate-chip cookies and after greeting all of them with her classical smile, she left the room with her husband, aware about the situation. Eighteen handed Marron to the Briefs family so she could have fun with the games she played before, which excited the little girl as she had such a fun time with them.

"So what's up?" Eighteen questioned after the family departed from the room with her daughter.

Trunks piped up, "Mom discovered something about what happened with Chichi!"

"Not really, I just think that Chichi may try something again. She likely won't stop after ruining Goku and Suno's relationship." Bulma explained to the group.

Gohan had just poured himself some coffee and was already munching on some cookies, "You think that… she showed up yesterday as part of her plan against dad?" He asked in between bites.

"I think so."

Piccolo appeared to be shocked about it. "No way… well… she almost beat Goten to death, so this shouldn't be a surprise."

"What could she be planning?" Eighteen started to wonder.

Krillin took a sip of his coffee and started to think about his wife's question. "Well… maybe she found out about Goku's new relationship somehow… and… showed up to get the worst from Goku… right in front of Suno."

"But… how could she find out about Daddy and Suno?" Goten held a cookie in both hands as he wondered about this.

Bulma gazed at the floor for a moment to think about it, then right on the spot all the missing pieces started to fit together as she looked back at the group in realization. "She was probably spying on us… she must have seen us partying…"

"Yeah… that pathetic excuse for a woman probably saw the whole thing and she went berserk on Kakarot." Vegeta grumbled, sharing the same sentiment as his wife.

"Aren't there any security cameras?" Videl suddenly asked.

Yamcha looked at Videl, then back at his ex-girlfriend. "There must be, right?"

Bulma's face lit up with hope. "Yeah, we do have hidden cameras. Maybe the security cameras outside caught her!"

The Saiyan Prince let out an annoyed groan and he rolled his eyes at her with his arms crossed even tighter, "I told you before. Your security system is not efficient…"

The scientist shot a glare at her husband, "Speak for yourself, Vegeta! It's worth looking into!"

"Can we see the filming?" Krillin asked, setting his cup of coffee on the table.

"Sure!" Bulma then bit her bottom lip, now knowing that her husband's words were true. "If the cameras caught anything, that is…"

Gohan wasn't quick to lose hope. "If they caught something, then that's new evidence against her!" He wiped the cookie crumbs off his hands and placed his empty coffee cup back on the tray.

Bulma shot up from the sofa and beckoned to the rest of her friends, "Alright, let's check out the security system!"

"LET'S GO GUYS!" Trunks was already ahead of everyone else, racing to the security system room and disappearing from sight, leaving his mother to lightly chuckle at his antics.

The tray of coffee and cookies were left on the small table as the group followed Bulma out of the living room and into the security system room, whispering to themselves about what they could possibly find.

Everyone finally appeared in Capsule Corporation's security system room where the screens of all security cameras could be seen mounted to the wall. A huge desk with multiple different keyboards was also visible to the gang. Trunks was jumping up and down, eager to see what would be uncovered. Without saying a word, Bulma plopped down on the one available chair in the room and hurriedly accessed yesterday's recording from 1:00pm, the time when the party started and fast-forwarded until the part where Chichi showed up. They all peered in closer to get a good look at what they were about to find.

Videl squinted at the bright screen, as she spotted a figure moving in between the bushes. Her eyes then grew impossibly wide with shock, as she could easily tell who it was. "No way…"

"There she is! She was hiding behind a bush outside the yards!" Goten cried out, pointing a finger at one of the screens.

Gohan's hand clenched into a tight fist, feeling his blood boiling with absolute fury. "That's right, Goten. It's definitely… her." His voice was becoming heavier and angrier at the sight of his 'mother' behind those bushes waiting for the right time to strike and catch them all off guard.

"Tch…"

"I can't believe this…" Yamcha mumbled.

Krillin looked back at his bandit friend with widened eyes. "And you tell me? I mean, how far does she want to go?"

"She wants to destroy Goku completely, that's for sure…" Eighteen spoke, confirming their thoughts.

"And she reached his weak point…" Piccolo commented.

Everyone now had their eyes fixated on the namekian, as this was the first time they were all hearing something like this. Gohan blinked for a moment and then he finally asked his former mentor, "Weak point? What do you mean by that Piccolo?"

Videl let out an audible gasp, "He's talking about Suno…"

"Exactly."

Krillin took a step back as he tried to process everything. "Oh… no… it's just as we thought before: She was seeking to make Goku look bad in front of Suno."

"She saw Goku and Suno making out, she saw just how much Suno meant to Goku so she decided to break them up, to ensure that Goku was unable to fight back in court which would give her a major advantage during the custody hearing for Goten." Piccolo bluntly explained.

The whole gang was absolutely astonished after this revelation. Bulma fast-forwarded the recording some more and the same screen showed how Chichi eventually emerged from her hiding spot and scurried away before either of them could take notice. Just after breaking up the new couple, only leaving after seeing that she had been successful. Now that they had all the information they needed, they departed from the security system room and headed back to the living room to discuss their next plan of action. Just as they returned however, two people were already there waiting…

They all stopped in their tracks after seeing the two visitors in the living room. Gasps of shock were heard among the small group but then the whole place went dead silent at their arrival. Neither could believe their eyes as the unexpected guests just stood there, not uttering a word.

"It's… It's you guys…" Bulma whispered in a low voice, completely stunned.

The visitors were indeed none other than Suno and Eighter, who were standing right at the entrance of the living room. Eighter just stared at the gang awkwardly while the redheaded woman was avoiding the piercing gazes of everyone, her arms folded uncomfortably and she appeared to be ashamed, like she didn't deserve to be here. It appeared to them like she was terrified of something.

"Our apologies… for showing up… like this." Eighter finally spoke despite the awkwardness.

"H-Hey…" Suno mumbled back, trembling a bit from fear.

"It's you Suno!" Gohan tried to get a good look at her face, but she was just refusing to look them in the eye and he noticed how she held onto the android a little bit tighter. Was she… afraid of them?

Trunks called out to them, "Hey! What are you guys doing here?"

"I just came to say… that I'm sorry… to all of you… for all the horrible things I said to Goku… I didn't mean any of it…" She let out in a cracked and pained voice, staring down at the floor with a sad face. Her eyes felt like they were about to burn and she collapsed on the nearest sofa, shedding bitter tears as she was once again overwhelmed by the shame of her actions. Her sobs became louder with every minute that passed.

Videl and Eighteen hurried over and held the crying woman, consoling her as best as they could. She really felt like the worst at that moment.

"I fell into Chichi's trap…" She choked back her sobs.

Krillin stepped forward, "You're not the only one, I guarantee."

"We just saw a security video. We saw the whole thing. And you're right Suno. It was a trap." Gohan said to the woman gently. It actually pained him to see her like this, just as much as it was seeing his father that way too.

"And we all fell for it." Vegeta eyed the broken woman with pity.

Suno finally looked up at the group, more specifically at the two Saiyan brothers with a quivering lip, "I'm sorry… to the both of you as well… I didn't mean to yell at your dad…"

Both Gohan and Goten moved over to the broken woman until they were on either side of her. The older boy reached over and took both of Suno's hands to look at her still puffy face and reddened eyes. "Suno… you don't have to apologize for anything. Like you just said, it was all a trap devised by 'her'. We can't blame you for not knowing about this. None of us did until now."

"That's right!" Goten chimed in, backing him up. He stood on his toes to get a clearer look at her. "And besides, me and my big brother already know that you love my daddy so much and would do anything for him. We're not mad at you. In fact, I think he needs you now, right brother?"

"Exactly, Goten. He needs you now, more than ever. With our help, of course." Gohan pointed to everyone in the room, and then looked at the still doubtful redhead with a smile. His grip on both her hands became much gentler. "You're the one who made him happy again."

Nothing could express just how thankful Suno was. She thought before that everyone despised her, but they still liked her. Eighter turned to his best friend with a smile, nodding his head at her. He was happy to see that there were no hard feelings between Goku's friends and especially his sons.

"T-Thank you…"

Gohan opened his arms and embraced the crying Suno to help calm her down, and Goten soon joined the hug also as he was seen climbing on top of the couch and wrapping his small arms around her neck, nuzzling it. Suno glanced over at the younger one and kissed him lovingly on the forehead, causing the little boy to giggle excitedly. She pulled him closer with one arm while using the other to hold the teenage boy. Just like a mother with her kids, everyone was really happy and almost moved with this moment, especially the women.

After they removed themselves from the hug, Suno couldn't help but ask, "W-What do we do now?"

"Well… Kakarot flew away and masked his ki again so he can't be found that easily." Vegeta answered with a grimace.

"No… it can't be possible…"

Krillin clenched his fist tightly, "Damn… he already did that back when you guys left Mount Paozu right?"

"He did…" Gohan mumbled.

"It means that this time his depression could get even worse than back then." Bulma said with a worried face.

"I'm really worried about daddy now… I just met him again and now he…" Goten bit his bottom lip, he was about to cry. Videl lifted him into her arms to soothe his pain, then she desperately turned to the group. "We have to find Goku before something else happens!"

"But how?! We can't sense his ki and we don't have a single clue about where he did go!" Eighteen pointed out.

"We just have to try!" Bulma cried out. "We can't let things end on a bad note! We can't let Chichi have her way!"

"I think that we should leave him alone for now."

The whole room went quiet as everyone turned their heads to Vegeta, who sported a very serious look. Once certain that he had everyone's attention he continued, "Back when he was all alone at his house, I visited him with Bulma and I told him that he shouldn't be showing such weak emotions as a Saiyan. So if he managed to find the strength to recover himself and come back, then just like the Saiyan he is, he can do it again."

Bulma looked at her husband in shock, "Are you sure about this Vegeta?"

"Well… if we're actually sure of something… it's on the fact that Kakarot never gave up a single fight in his entire life, right?" The Prince looked between everyone in the room for confirmation.

"You're right!" Krillin nodded his head. "He never gives up, no matter how hard things actually get!"

"And he always finds a way to win in the end." Piccolo said, a brief smile showing on his face.

"That's right. Dad will find a way to pull through!"

"He always does!" Yamcha shouted out with Puar floating by his side. It was clear that the blue cat felt the same way.

Goten held a small fist in the air as he too declared, "My daddy won't give up that easily! He never did! He'll come back again, I'm sure!"

"You guys are right." Bulma smiled. It was then that she thought of every life threatening situation they had been in, and Goku pushed back hard, even when the odds were stacked against him.

"So where do you think we should wait for him?" Gohan questioned, looking between the group for opinions. "I was thinking about… Kami's Lookout. That's where we reunited with him the last time."

Bulma said in agreement, "Kami's Lookout sounds like a great choice!"

"And how long should we wait for him to show up there?" Krillin asked in wonder.

"Hmmm… how about… three days?" Bulma suggested.

Piccolo nodded. "Yeah, it'll be enough."

"For sure!"

Krillin looked at his wife, "That's right hon! So we'll meet at Kami's Lookout three days from now."

"Suno, Eighter, I assume you'll be there too?" Gohan asked, looking between the Jingle Village residents.

"Definitely!" Suno said with an eager face, as she wanted nothing more than to right this wrong.

"We'll be there!"

Goten appeared to be worried about something as he was seen chewing on his fingernail, "But… what happens though if daddy doesn't show up? What do we do then?"

Luckily, Gohan already knew of an easy solution to that as he smiled at his little brother. "We can always ask Dende for his whereabouts. He'll be able to tell us where dad is."

"Okay everybody, we'll meet again in three days!" Bulma said with hope in her eyes. She prayed that this would be more than enough time to wait before 'she' struck again.

"Sounds like a plan!" Videl cheered.

"Alright!"

Goten bounced up and down, "Yay! My daddy will come back with us!" He then jumped back into Suno's arms, which she didn't mind and she ruffled his spiky black hair before placing him back on the floor. He then ran to Trunks and gave his best friend a gigantic hug, squeezing him so tight and making the older one uncomfortable to the point where he couldn't breathe.

Suno giggled at his antics, "He sure will."

It was then that Panchy, Tights and Dr. Briefs returned with Marron and brought the cheerful little girl back to her parents. They were all surprised to see Suno and Eighter there, but were happy to learn of everyone's current plans and the fact that Suno intends to mend her relationship with Goku. The group decided to return back to their homes after a while, convinced that Goku would show up at Kami's Lookout three days from now. Suno was the one with more confidence now that she had backup from all of Goku's friends and even his own beloved sons. Once everyone left Capsule Corp, it was left with the Briefs family and the Jingle Village residents. Bulma offered to call a taxi for them, a convertible one due to Eighter's size and also one that could drive through rough patches of snow.

While they were waiting for the taxi, Mrs. Briefs invited Suno to try some coffee and some of her homemade chocolate chip cookies, to which she agreed as she hadn't eaten much at home and was a little bit hungry. She enjoyed them and just as she finished eating, their taxi finally arrived. The family hurried outside to see them off and Bulma paid for the fare. Before stepping foot inside the vehicle, the two thanked the Briefs for their help and support.

As the taxicab was driving them back to Jingle Village, Suno took a glance out the window in deep thought as she reflected on what happened today. A lot had been accomplished this afternoon and she knew now that everything would be okay, which was all that mattered to her. More than ever before, she was determined to see things through.
