Luke, Reve and Takeru traveled through the mountain, discussing about the mission.
« What a experience » Luke said, arms at the back of his head. Too bad we was missing one. »
« I still found that strange. » Takeru said « Neither us or one of these fairies could find him, his sent ended out of nowhere, it did bother me. »
« Is that much a problem ? » Luke asked
« If he teleported, then I could sense his magic, or if he could fly, he could not be far. But not a trace. It's like he disappeared, literally. » Even Reve was bothered. Furthemore, he didn't felt a fourth party around them.
« Well, that's not very important, we caugh all his colleagues, he is alone now. He can't do much more now. »
As Luke ended the discussion, the trio arrived in front of a wooden cottage-like building, rather large and more solid than we could though. It was their guild, White Eclipse. Luke push the door with force, and screamed, lifting his arms « Yo evryoooone ! »
The hall was silent, not because of Luke's surprise intervention, but because the room was empty of people. Not a single soul to filled the space. It was quite frightening in a sense.
« Uh… where's everyone ? » Luke remained in his position, surprised by the view while Reve and Takeru enter the hall and took place. Seconds later, footsteps was heard,and a girl rather tall enter the hall via one of the many doors, this one lead to the kitchen. She had peach hair tied into a bun, wore a grey shirt and blue pants, she was barefoot, as usual. Upon seeing thr trio, her smile wided immensely
« Reve, Luke, Tak ! You are there ! » She ran to hugged Luke, who was on his way to the couch
Luke smiled back at her « I'm glad to see you too, Nami. But where are the others ? »
« Big sis is with me at the kitchen, Cygnus and Jaxon are on a mission, same with Waiston and Kuro, Arc is somewhere, probably training. Selene sleep…again. Aira too, but she felt exhausted since she return her last quest. Michio is… somewhere. Zain is in the infirmary, Zalen is in his room. And Sidney, well, you know him. »
« Ah, I see »
A another person exit the kitchen, she was a little taller than Nami, has black haire which fall on her lower back. She wore a grey shirt and black pants, and held plates on her hands. She lift a brow upon seing them « Oh, Hi, dinner's ready »
Nami inspired profusely, filling her lungs with air. Takeru saw that and put his hands on his ears, so did the others
« DINER'S READYYYYY » Nami yelled, evryone present in the building could hear her now. Immediately after, adoor in te second floor burst open, revealing a petite girl with dark blue hair and purple eyes. She ran immediately at the table, drawling
« Well, Selene is awake now. » Reve stated. One by one, peoples began to exit. A girl with blond hair, a black bow tied on the back of her head, wearing a pink shirt and a black skirt exited clumsily from her room « W-What's happening, we're under attack ? » she placed her arms in a martial art position. The next person came out of the infirmary, witj bandanges at somes points of his body, this is Zain. Next to Aira's room came out a another mage, Zalen Castle, rubbing his head.
« It 's really necessary that noise ? » he asked, rather annoyed by the surprise scream
« It's just to make sure you heard well » Nami continue to smile, proud of her. She then twirled on herself until the table where was the plates.
« It's cool to see you all » Luke smile honestly, he hoped this place would never change.
The black hair girl opened her eyes painfully, and slowly. The first thing she saw was a roof, she could hardly move, but manages to tilt her head to see around her.
Where…am I ? Upon her left, she saw a girl with dark bkue hair, sleeping with her head and her arms on her bed. She remembered that girl, in the snow, the first person she saw after leaving this…place they called 'home'. Behind the girl was a white cat, sleeping as wall on the chair
Why are they here ? I lost to that pink hair guy ? She wasn't really herself back then, but she could barely manage to remember Natsu's face, or, at least, his hair. She tried to move, but her body was paralised, and she could feel bandagesover her body. A door open, causing her eyes to turn at the sound
« Ah, you're awake » The girl was surprised and jumped despite the immobility of her body, causing a lot of pain.
« Ow ! »
« Don't worry, you're safe now » The one talking was blond with brown hair. She rushed at her, trying to calm her.
« D-don't come closer » She tried to yell, but she felt weak.
« Hmm ? Lucy-san ? » The blue hair girl rubbed her eyes, and saw her being agited. She placed her hand out to convinced her she was not a threat. « Calm down, we're not here to hurt you. »
« I will tell the others. Keep an eye on her, Wendy » Lucy went down the stairs, leaving Wendy with the mysterious girl. After she calmed down, and open to discuss, she finally asked
« Wo are you ? Where am I ? »
« I am Wendy Marvell, and you are in Fairy Tail »
« Fairy…Tail ? What is this ? »
Wendy blinked her eyes multiples times « You never heard of Fairy Tail ? »
The girl shook her head «I never heard of it. Ah ! I forgot. My name is Cynthia »
Wendy smiled at Cynthia « Nice to meet you »
The infirmary's door open, and more people enters. Cynthia swear she already sax these people, but her memory was very confusing.
« I'm glad you're awake now, I'm Erza Scarlet » Erza said, grinning
« You heard Wendy called me, but I'm Lucy » Lucy said with a smile
Cynthia felt uncomfortable with all these looks on her, she finally looked at Wndy « You said I was in Fairy Tail, what is it ? »
« It's a guild of mages »
« A guild of mages ? » Cynthia tilted her head
The man with pink hair rush through the others « It's a place where a lot of people worked together by doing jobs. »
« Or defeat villains » Lucy added, whispering.
«I'm sure you have a lot to ask. But now, we'll let you rest… » Erza didn't know her name
« Cynthia » Cynthia said, feeling now more confortable here.
« We'll let you rest, Cynthia, take your time » Erza forced the others to leave, before turning at Wendy « You come ? »
« C-Can she rest with me ? I don't like being alone » Cybthia looked down the bed, akward by asking such a question
Erza and Wendy looked each other, before smiling « Of course » Wendy said.
As Erza and the others went down, the hall felt silent. They didn't want to make noise and disturb them.
« So ? How is she ? » Mira asked, looking worried.
« She's awake, she asked Wendy to stay with her » Erza repled
Carla, who followed them, looked unhappy about the situation. Lucy noticed that
« A problem, Carla ? »
« I don't trust that girl » She said dryly
« What ? Why ? » Gray asked, baffled by the raw answer the Exceed just said
« We found her in the middle of nowhere, maybe she is linked about some crazyt bad guy, or dangerous people »
Natsu patted her head, causing her to turn back him. « Don't worry, if a bad guy wanted to hurt here, or any of us » he slammed his fist against each other « I'll make them paid »
« I understand your suspicions » Erza said « But we cannot just let her down here. Plus, if she attacked us, it's just because self defence, she believed we would hurt here. » She turned her head toward her friends. « For now, she will stay with us, until she feel good enough to tell us what's happening. We will let her in confidence until she is ready. We won't force her, understood ? » her gaze was severe at the last part, making the others shivering .
After almost half an hour, two petites figures stepped down the stairs, exiting the infirmary in the second floor. Wendy waved at the others, while Cynthia hid behind her, only poking out part of her head.
« It take you some times » Gray said.
« It was for the time she could get up, and the will to go down » Wendy replied, softly pushed Cynthia out of her back.
« H-Hi… » Cynthia said, reddish.
Natsu rushed toward Cynthia, making her jump « I don't think I introduced myself. I am Natsu Dragneel » He extended his hand
Cynthia, still surprised, hesitated. She looked aside, and see Wendy's reassuring face. She finally grabbed Natsu's hand, smiling at her turn.
« I-I'm happy to meet you, Natsu. But… aren't you mad about what I've done to you ? If I wasn't that exhausted, It could be worse for you. » She avoided eye contact, feeling ashamed about their fight. But Natsu only shrugged and waved his hand « I know you didn't mean to hurt me. Plus, Gildarts hit far harder ».
Lucy grabbed Natsu by the collar and tossing him back « You don't see you scaring her ? »
Wendy grabbed Cynthia's hand and dragged her deeper in the hall « Come on Cynthia, I will introduce you to the others. Wendy took Cynthia at corners of the guild.
Erza stood next to Makarov. She and the others could see Cynthia's face being lighter and more secure. She seems to had good aquainance with everyone. That put a smile on her own face
« She didn't seems to be a bad person » She said
Makarov nodded, putting his mug on the bar. Suddenly, he turns his head to the left with a frown.
« Hm ? Is there a problem, master ? »
The odd sensation Makarov felt disappeared. Atter a moment, he turned his head back, trying to not get concerned « It's nothing »
What was that sensation ? It's like I'm being watched. I should be careful. His eyes were now on Cynthia. Hope whoever that was don't come for her.
At the exterior of the guild, one figure could be seen. Without an experienced eye, or precices skills, it could be very difficult to not seeing it, or even feel. The creature had sweat on it fronthead
