"T-Tell us your story ? Are you sure ?" Wendy

"Yes... I'm sure. After knowing that the council know about me... you must certainly have doubts, so I won't keep them any longer" Cynthia said, head low. She placed her hand on her chest before clutching it "My name is Cynthia. Cynthia Viscard" She gulped at the last word.

"Viscard ?" Wendy tilted her head, not having any clue about the name.

Cynthia nodded " It came from my father, Aiden Viscard. He is the head scientist of a magic research facility I was forced to enter 7 years ago because of a discovery he made"

"7 years ago, but you had only 6. What is the benefit of letting you enter there ? What is the connection with you ?"

"The discovery...is me" Wendy and Carla's eyes widened, but Cynthia continued noneless "When I was 6, my father discovered that I had a untapped potential. He said that my magic abilities are far superior than any other person at my age. So he set up a project, a very ambitious one" The other girls stretchedtheir ears" Using his daughter as energy source for a weapon capable of destroying a kingdom, the most powerfuk flame inthe world"

5 eyes widened at the bomb Cynthia just dropped, especially for CZ who learnt something capital, and maybe dangerous . She stayed more focused as Cynthia continued her story.

"It's why he put the lacrima I told you a while ago" Her body shivered "I remember this day like it was yesterday..."

[Seven years ago, in the said magic research facility]

"So, how do you like your new home, Cynthia ?" A man with his upper face hidden by shadows said with a devilish smile.

"P-please, stop" A small crying Cynthia pleaded. She was hands and heels tied by mettalic restrains, totally immobile. She was in a white and mettalic room with stranges devices all around and above her. "What will you do from me ?" She asked, afraid about his answer.

"Ooh ? You really want to know ? Well if you insist" He approached Cynthia, a strange reddish stone in his hand "This is a dragon's lacrima I specialy modified just for you. I should thank you, Cynthia. Amongst everyone here, you clearly have the most magic potential, a rarity ! With that lacrima, I will obtain the power. I could destroy Fiore, and even other countries. Everyone will fear me!" He bursted into a manical laugh.

"Y-you are totally mad" Cynthia exclaimed, her eyes shrinked upon seeing the person who ended by being her father.

"Thank you for the compliment, ith this, your powers will come from your own emotions, I call it the 'Omega Fire Dragon', way stronger than any other Dragon lacrima .But enough chit-chat, it's time for you to play your role". He placed the lacrima in a strange machine, letting it doing it's puprose: embedding it into Cynthia's body.

[On the train, Present]

"T-That's horrible..." Wendy had her hands on her mouth, tears at the corner of her eyes.

"Yeah...he's a total freak"

"How can someone can dstill be out ? And not being wanted by anyone ?" Carla murmured at no one in particular. Shizu her nodded to Carla, and to herself. But for now, all three listened as Cynthia continued her story.

[7 years ago]

The little Cynthia was in tears. The experiment could not be more painfull, much to her father's indifference. "Yes...it works, it works" He exclaimed joyfully, grinning creepily.

"IT HURT ! STOP ! I WANT MOM!"

"Argh, can you please shut up with that. Your mommy isn't around, how many time should I tell you ?" The man said, unbothered by Cynthia's pleads "You should instead thank me. You will soon be useful a for a great plan.

After what seems to be an eternity for Cynthia, the experiment finnaly stopped. The restrains opened up, but Cynthia stood here, eyes wided, panting heavely. Her father approached, clapping once. "Marvellous, MARVELLOUS ! The lacrima perfectly fused with her body. Now we just need you to get used to this. To the training room ! You's better know it well, because you will see it a lot". He then let someone took Cynthia, carrying her where she could get used to her new powers"

[Present]

"And since then my life became a routine. Everyday, I was forced to being in sync with the lacrima, as well as hardened my body. Quickly, I became the Omega Fire Dragon Slayer. But despite his attempt to drill me about being a weapon and follow him, I resisted. I endured all that until my evasion came"

"How did you manage to escape ? This place must be very secured" Wendy asked

"Oh but it was, very secured, but I recieved help. I wasn't the only child my father experimented on. We were very combined. After realising that I had a chance to escape, they made a diversion, so I took that chance, and I escaped. The rest, you know already it"

"If I expected that" Carla stared into space, apprehend Cynthia's story.

"Cynthia..." Wendy's voice trembled. She jumped on the poor girl, clutching on her, crying "I can't imagine how difficult it must be for you. Let me say that you're not alone anymore" She cried between sobs.

Carla smiled, agreed with her partner "She's right. You are now part of Fairy Tail. We fight together. But now that I think about it" Her eyes then narrowed.

"What is it ?" Cynthia asked, caressing Wendy's hair

"How did the council was aware about you ? I mean, if your father is doing these kind of things, he must do it secretely, far from everyone, especially the council"

"To be honest, I haven't any idea why. I was as surprise as you. Maybe he wasn't as hidden than he though"

Carla didn't seems to be convince, but they didn't have any more clue, so she let it pass. Trying to break the silence which now weighed on the group, Carla turned her head toward the most silent one, who seems to be in her thoughts since a moment "By the way, Shizu, it's impressive what you did earlier"

"Huh ?" Shizu lifted her head, out of her trance.

"Indeed, I was very impressed" Cynthia exclaimed, eager to change the topic too. "How did you manage to shoot at this distance with this precision ? You are awesome"

Shizu blinked multiples times before sweating big droplets "He was from the council, right ?". I wasn't thinking at that time. I hope it won't blow up my cover.

Carla was wearing a nasty grin "You are afraid about the consequences, right ? Don't worry about that, we always had a rather...tense relationship with the council" Her smile lowed, being more serious "But it's true that you messed up by taking his hand off. Adding the fact that they now want Cynthia, this time they won't leave us alone"

"Would I be in trouble ?" Shizu asked in a low voice.

"Like Carla said for Cynthia, you are from Fairy Tail" Wendy assured with a smile "We are a family, and we won't let anyone down" She replied with assurance " I just hope Odin will not be too upset by his hand". Carla could only shruggedby the obvious answer. Of course he would.

While what Wendy said seems to appeased Shizu, she was still worried about the recents events. I acted without thinking. Lady Aura and Galadriel-sama will scold me for sure. She looked at her hands. Why did I do that ? What's happening to me ?

"Hey, look ! It's the train station !" Cynthia pointed at the approaching station and Magnolia "It's impressive, when I don't die on the spot"

"Enjoy while it last, because Wendy won't do that any soon" Cynthia hit her face at the window as Carla brough her back to the harsh reality.

"So, pipsqueak, don't you decided yet ?" Reve teased Mare who stood in front of the request bord.

"Uh...n-not yet"

"Geez Reve, can you stop chaffing that poor girl. Look, you terrorize her" Waiston chuckled. Since the two newers came, a few days ago, Reve didn't stop to tease the little blonde. Of course, he could not blame him. After all, she is his favourite prey. They learnt more about their magic. Yuri's one is called 'Kibakushou'. It allowed her to gather light between her palms to attack the ennemy, and become a damaging shockwave if it missed. A strange name, but maybe it was common in their country. Like Aura and CZ, Mare and Yuri had told to them a story invented by Pandora's Actor about being from another country for a journey. Other than that, she showed to have a pretty high amount of physical strengh. Waiston wanted to test her fists, his ice was no match, at all.

Mare's magic is related to plants. Despite the environment around the guild, she managed to grow vines. They even resisted Kuro's fire, Hanako had something to be jealous, her seeds didn't created such tough plants.

Haether hit Reve with her hand "Stop being a bully, I have something that may interested her" she showed Mare a job.

"W-What is this ?"

"A poisonned infection spread in a village. Apparently, it was caued by weird mushrooms. I think my poison attribute and your plant knowledge, I think our cooperation can greatly help in this case.

"Hey! Don't forget me!" Hanako flailed her arms "I'm sure I can help too!" She pouted, swelling her cheeks.

Haether rolled her eyes "Fine. Taya, we're going now". Taya didn't reply, nor did she even look at them. It just mean she's agree, so the three of them made their way out.

"Why do everyone ask Taya for a mission ?" Selene whispered at Jaxon, who lift his shoulders.

"Are you sure, Sydney ?" Callium was in his office, looking shocked.

"Sure and certain. I didn't, and still don't see that little girl's soul, not at all. As for the other one, it's just strange, like her soul was really attached to her"

"Just like you ?"

"Not really. Despite my magic make my soul rather unusual, her is, like, forced to be tied, but not wanting to escape. It's all weird"

Calium massed his temple. Firstly Darkness, then Fairy Tail, and now that. What's happening here ?. "I see. But all that we can do is wait. Despite being suspicious, they don't show hostility, and don't act suspiciously. But keep an eye on them. If they do anything strange, inform me. Inform Taya, Nami and Arc too about that. Maybe they have a clue"

"Understood" Sydney walked away of the office. Just as he was about to be out of hear, he swear he heard "Fortunately I don't have any hair to become white"

"Is it here ?" Mare asked Haether, who sniffed the air.

"Yes. I can smell the poison from here"

Mare nodded as the three approached the village. Mare slowed down to be next to Hanako. He made a sign to the other plant mage who approached her ear. "I didn't smell anything, and we are a little away from the village. How did she noticed that ?"

Hanako smiled at Mare's ignorance "Don't you ever heard about it ? Haether is a Dragon Slayer"

Mare's eyes widened "D-Dragon Slayer ?"

Hanako nodded "Yep. She can use the power of a Dragon, and inherit of some of their abilities, like enhance smell, hear. She can even eat the attribute of her magic. In her case, she can eat poison" she explained proudly, without realising whom she informed.

"O-Okay." Mare replied as they walked toward the village.

The trio were saluted by the chief who invited them in the hall. The situation was worse than they though. He explained what happened, but something was off "Are you sure it came from nowhere ?" Haether asked suspiciously.

"I'm sure ! We took the water at the same place since as long as I can remember, and we never had any problem. But now, almost everyone are affected. I'm totally lost now"

"M-Maybe ther is some of creature which now habit nearby, a-and poisin the water" Mare suggested.

Haether nodded "It's the most logical explaination" She sniffed the peopled "Hm, strange, this kind of creature don't live so close" she mumble to herself

"What are you saying to yourself ?" Hanako asked

"I was saying that something is wrong" She turned herself at the chief "Can you lead us to the point ?"

"Here it is" The chief leaded them at the river nearby "This is where we took the water". Haether sniffed the air again "As predicted, it came from further. Thank you to took us here, now we take care of that"

"Please be careful. Maybe it's something dangerous"

"Oh, don"t worry about that." Hanako smiled, as well as Haether, but to a lesser degree "White Eclipse is the best for that"

From here, Haether guided the other two with her enhance smell. They went deeper in the forest, getting darker and darker, while remaingin near the river, were all of this began. At a certain point, Haether commanded them to stop.

"It's here ?" Hanako asked with a low voice. Haether confirmed by nodding.

"I-I can see them too" Mare said in a even lower voice. Fortunately Haether had good hear. Hanako looked surprise "Can you see them from this distance ? I can't see a thing"

Mare shrinked back"Y-Yes. I-I can see in the dark, although not totally. For me, they are just silouhettes"

Haether narrowed her eyes at the said silouhettes, her assumptions grew bigger. It's them ? But we are far from their territory. What are they doing here ?. The creatures she was talking about were some kinds of living mushroom in various sizes. Some of them were small, while some were bigger, and one wa massive. Their cap were all differents in color, although they all had white scales.

"Oh, I see them now" Hanako must forced herself, but she could see them now "They must be responsible of the poisous river"

"Yes, but..." Haether could not find out the problem.

"They seems to be q-quite aggressive for mushrooms" Mare remarked.

Haether and Hanako nodded in comprehension "Now that you say it" The latter confirmed.

"W-What do we do then" Mare asked, looking at Haether, who sighed. "No choice, we take care of them, then I will absorb the poson from the river. This should save the village, while you too will make a antidote with their corpses". The other two nodded.

"Then I bagin" Hanako searched in her bag full of seeds, picking a few of them "Take that !" She threw them at the creatures, who barely had the time to react as the seeds became giant flytraps. Immediately after growing, they took a bite of some of them, reducing their number. "Got'cha!".

Haether used this momentum to lunge herself at the mushrooms. A purple mist surrounded her hand "Poison Dragon's Claw !" The claw shaped poison dig through the monsters like it was butter. "You too, stay away from them. They released poisonous aura when threat" She dodged another one before kivking it.

Mare stomped his stick on the ground. From it, the earth split in half up to the monsters, catching them in its wake. Once all the targets were catched, the earth closed, squishing them alive.

"Holy-" Hanako widened her eyes "How do you do that ?"

Mare blushed a little "Y-You though my magic was about controlling plants. But in fact, I can control anything related to nature"

After a surprisingly easy fight, all of the monsters were down. Even the big one was no match to a Roar. Haether sweap her fronthead.

"Well, it was quick" Hanako stated almpost disappointedly "I would hope they were a bigger challenge"

"Make the antidote, I'll go at the river, taking out the poison. Also you can approach them now, I ate the poisonous air"

"Okay !"

"O-Okay"

While Haether removed the poson from the water, a small figure looked from afar. It had a notapad and a pen, visibly exited about what it saw "Experience succeded. Never I though Lord Mare would be here, but it didn't change anything. I will tell Lord Demiurge he had quite the fun" After saying that, the imp flew away, noticed by nobody exept the little blonde, who then understood the cause of these mushrooms's strange behaviour.

"So, you can control other things than plants" Haether summarized. After saving the village, they were now on the way back to home.

"Y-Yes. From earth wall to snow storm, I have the total control over anythingn related to the nature"

"That's pretty cool" Hanako said happily "Now we sure are the most powerful guild now"

"By the way, Mare, I was wondering, are you re-" Haether stopped in the middlt of her sentance. Without saying more, she ran forward at high pace.

"Hey, Haether, wait !" Hanako ccvalled her, but it fell on deaf ears. Having no other choice, her and Mare ran behind her too.

And Haether was right. The guild was like it had just have a fight. Reve, Cygnus, Luke, Aira, Nami, Sydney and Calium stood outside.

"Oh my god, are you okay ?" Hanako rushed at them, eyes widing in horror upon seing Aira who healed some of the members, while other waited, hurt.

Reve gritted his teeth "Damn it, why did he come ?"

"Who's that; Who came ?" Haether asked impatiently.

"The council !" Cygnus replied in anger, leaving the three girls in disbelief, and above all in incomprehension.
