Hello everyone how's it going and how was your thanksgiving?
Now if you're reading this it means we are in Dec, last month for 2022.
Also this is my last chapter for the year of the story.
Now ch25 will pop out sometime between Jan or Feb.
That's because I need a bit of rest.
So once this chapter is uploaded it means I am on Hiatus on all of my stories until the first half of January.
But even fanfic writers need time off to recharge themselves otherwise they burn themselves out.
Also the result of the poll is revealed.

Chapter 24: a double rumble in the Dojo
'Last time: the invincible Pokémon bros attack the fighting dojo with some crooks they hired to try to steal some pokémon, Ash and the others were able to defeat the crooks and destroy the mecha but Kim resorted to a dirty move and had his Hitmonchan attack Max, but May pushed him out of the way and she got hit instead, seeing her hurt, made Ash, Dante and Brock angry, so angry that Ash and Dante started glowing blue and green auras as Max and some of the dojo students got May inside for safety. After defeating the brothers in battle and knocking them out cold. Ash and Dante and Brock calmed down and Ash and Dante power down. Dante then tied the bros and the crooks up and then called the cops and May was taking to the hospital where she was examined and only have some bruises but was advised to be more careful and then Koichi came in with the idea to thank Ash and the others was a double battle with a chance to get both Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan and Ash accepted, then the next day after May was free to leave the hospital they went to the dojo for the match and Koichi send out Poliwrath and Machop and Ash sent out Pikachu and Primeape and now the double battle is about to begin.'
Dante asked to be the ref for the match and Koichi said yes and after explaining the rules of the double battle, he asked both sides are they ready and they said yes.
"Ok then battle begin!" Dante said raising both hands.
"Ok Pikachu use Quick Attack!" Ash said.
Pikachu moved fast towards Machop with a white aura behind him.
"Primeape follow Pikachu!" Ash followed up.
Primeape moved fast and followed Pikachu.
They got closer to Poliwrath and Machop.
"Ok Pikachu go for Poliwrath and Primeape mega punch on Machop!" Called Ash.
Pikachu jumped forward and slammed into Poliwrath and Primeape moved in for Machop.
"Machop stop Primeape!" said Koichi.
Machop held its right hand out and caught the Mega Punch stopping Primeape in its tracks.
"What?" Ash said in surprise.
"Now use your Mega punch." Koichi said.
Machop pulled its left fist back and then moved it with white energy covering it and landed a punch on Primeape, letting it go and let it skid on the field.
Primeape took some damage but regain its footing and got a bit mad.
"Damn Koichi made his play good." Said Dante.
"Yeah his Machop waited and then intercept and then counter." Added Brock.
"Koichi is not making this easy for Ash." Put in May.
"Ash has to step it up." Said Max.
Ash had to agree with them and decided to try change tactics.
"Ok my turn, Poliwrath use Bubblebeam on Primeape and Machop use cross chop on Pikachu." Koichi commanded.
Machop leaped forward with its arms crossed and glowing white and went for Pikachu and Poliwrath held its hands out and glowed blue and fired a barrage of light blue bubbles at Primeape.
"Nice try Koichi but watch this Primeape use thunderbolt and Pikachu use Agility!" shouted Ash.
Primeape smashed its fists together and then fired a blast of yellow electricity and intercepted the Bubblebeam and push through the attack and landed a direct hit on Poliwrath dealing a lot of damage.
Pikachu ran on all 4's and repeatedly vanish and immediately reappears in different spots confusing Machop and made it stop in its place and then Pikachu was right behind it.
"Now use Iron tail!" shouted Ash.
Pikachu jumped and his tail glowed white and turned around and then hits Machop in the back.
"Nice you 2!" said Ash.
"Not so fast Ash." Koichi interrupted. "Machop use rock slide!"
Multiple gray rocks appear in front of Machop in the shape of a ring. It then puts its hands forward, sending the stones flying towards Pikachu.
"Dodge it!" shouted Ash.
Pikachu moved quickly and dodged most of the rocks but some of them were able to hit Pikachu dealing a bit of damage.
"Pikachu!" shouted Ash.
"Now follow up with Mega Punch!" Koichi called out.
Machop moved fast with its fist glowing white and headed towards Pikachu, but Ash knew what to do.
"Pikachu dodge it and use Iron Tail on Machop's legs." Said Ash.
Pikachu moved fast and went under Machop avoiding its attack and then turned with his tail glowing white and struck Machop in the right leg, making it kneel in pain.
"Now use Thunderbolt!" shouted Ash.
Pikachu let his cheeks spark some electricity and then fired a blast of electricity at Machop scoring a hit.
"Machop!" shouted Koichi. "Poliwrath use Hydro Pump on Pikachu!"
Poliwrath's swirl on its stomach glows light purple and it releases a powerful stream of water from in the middle of it and hit Pikachu.
"Pikachu! Primeape stop Poliwrath with Thunder punch!" shouted Ash.
Primeape moved in close with its fist cover in electricity and landed a direct hit on Poliwrath cancelling its attack and Pikachu got away.
Pikachu thanked Primeape for the save.
"Not bad Ash, good on the save but it won't be enough to defeat me." Said Koichi.
"Oh yeah? We'll see about that." Said Ash.
"Machop use Ice Punch on Pikachu!" said Koichi.
Machop moved towards Pikachu with its fist covered in light blue cold energy.
"Pikachu counter with Iron tail!" shouted Ash.
Pikachu moved fast with his tail glowing white and intercept Ice Punch, the two were locked in place until they had back off.
"Quick Machop follow up with Karate Chop!" shouted Koichi.
"Dodge it Pikachu!" followed up Ash.
Pikachu moved quickly and avoided the attack and was right behind Machop.
"Now use thunderbolt Pikachu!" said Ash.
"PIIIIIIKKKKKKKKKKKKKKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-CHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"
Pikachu fired a blast of electricity at Machop and it shouted in pain from the attack.
"Now finish it up with Iron tail!" Ash shouted.
Pikachu moved in close with his glowing tail and jump and turned and hit Machop squared in the jaw sending it skidding across the field until it came to the edge and stop and then fell on its back with spirals in its eyes.
"Machop!" shouted Koichi.
"Machop is unable to battle!" Dante shouted raising his left hand.
"Way to go Pikachu!" shouted Ash.
"Pika, Pikachu!" said Pikachu in a happy tone.
"Machop return." Koichi said recalling it. "You did well out there now get a good rest."
"Alright Ash only one more to go!" said May.
"But don't count Poliwrath out yet." Added Max.
"Max's right and it look likes Poliwrath is mad now." Put in Brock.
Brock was right, Poliwrath was now fuming and was ready to go all out.
Ash noticed Pikachu panting quite a bit, he used a lot of energy and power to beat Machop and was getting a bit worn out but he knew that Pikachu would still battle.
'Ok better be careful.' Ash thought.
"Poliwrath let's turn it up, use Bulk Up!" Koichi shouted.
Poliwrath started flexing its muscles and had a red aura around itself.
"Crap! Poliwrath's attack and defense got a boost." Said Ash.
Now Poliwrath's attacks will be a bit stronger.
"Pikachu let's make this quick, use thunderbolt!" Ash said.
Pikachu fired a blast of electricity towards Poliwrath.
"Dodge it Poliwrath!" shouted Koichi.
Poliwrath moved fast and avoided the attack.
"What?" said Ash surprised.
Pikachu and Primeape were surprised as well.
"Now use Rain Dance!" Koichi said.
Poliwrath raised its hands and dark clouds formed and rain pour down.
Then Poliwrath started glowing a light blue.
Dante raised an eyebrow and realize what's going on.
"Uh oh." He said.
"Pikachu use thunderbolt one more time." Said Ash.
Pikachu then fired one last blast of electricity and fired it at Poliwrath.
"Dodge it!" said Koichi.
Poliwrath dodge the attack with great speed.
"What?" Ash said surprised.
"How?" said Max.
"It's swift swim isn't it?" Dante cut in.
"What's that?" Asked Ash.
"It's a ability that certain water Pokémon have, whenever it's raining they gain a speed boost and it makes them faster." Dante explained.
"Looks like I got the advantage now, Poliwrath use double slap on Pikachu!" Koichi ordered.
Poliwrath moved in and slapped Pikachu many times with its hands and thanks to Bulk Up the damage was increased.
Pikachu was taking some serious damage.
"Pikachu!" shouted Ash.
"Now finish this with Ice punch!" Koichi added.
Poliwrath moved in with its fist covered in light blue cold energy and landed a direct hit on Pikachu.
"Pikachu no!" shouted Ash.
Pikachu was sent flying off the field, passed Ash and landed in the wall, he groaned as he fell down to the floor with spiral patterns in his eyes.
Dante sighed, but he knew he had to make the call.
"Pikachu is unable to battle Poliwrath wins!" Dante said raising his right hand.
"Oh man Pikachu got beaten." Said Max.
"Don't worry Max, Ash still has Primeape and the rain dance will end soon." Advised Brock.
Ash went to get Pikachu and picked him up.
"Pika…" Pikachu said tiredly.
"You did great buddy, you took out Machop and did a bit of damage on Poliwrath, now you take it easy and get some rest." Said Ash.
Ash went over to the others and asked Brock to look after Pikachu and Brock agrees and Ash handed Pikachu over to him.
Ash then walked back to the field.
"Ok Primeape it's just you and me, now let's win this for Pikachu!" said Ash.
"Primeape!" shouted Primeape now full of determination and pride.
"Now get close to Poliwrath!"
Primeape moved in fast to get close to Poliwrath.
"Nice try Ash, Poliwrath use Hypnosis!" Koichi said.
Poliwrath moved out the way and its eyes glowed purple and moved its hands and was about to put Primeape to sleep.
"Get behind Poliwrath!" shouted Ash.
Primeape leaped up and avoided the hypnosis and was behind Poliwrath.
"Now Thunder punch!" shouted Ash.
Primeape landed an electric covered punch in Poliwrath's back dealing a lot of damage.
"Poliwrath get away and use mega punch!" said Koichi.
Poliwrath shook it off and then turned around with its fist glowing white and heading towards Primeape.
"Now you're in for a surprise." Said Ash. "Primeape use counter!"
Primeape glowed red and avoided the mega punch and then countered with an uppercut of its own twice the damage and sent Poliwrath skating across the field.
"WHAT?!" shouted everyone.
"Primeape has learned this move while it trained and now it's ready to kick some ass!" said Ash.
Primeape grunted in agreement and glowed white for a moment.
"Huh?" said Ash as he took out his Pokédex and scanned Primeape and realized that it learned a new move.
'So you learned that huh?' Ash thought.
"Poliwrath let's end this match use Hydro pump!" shouted Koichi.
Poliwrath fired another blast of powerful water from its spiral on the stomach.
"Primeape dodge that and use Aerial Ace!" said Ash.
Primeape moved fast and dodged the hydro pump and its body becomes surrounded in white streaks of energy. It then jumps into the air and tackles Poliwrath dealing a lot of damage.
"What the?... How?" said Koichi.
"Looks like Primeape was determined to help Ash and it learned a new move." Said Dante.
"Now we are going to win!" said Ash.
"We'll see." Said Koichi.
"Primeape let's win this, use Mega Kick!" Ash said.
Primeape jumped in the air and then extended its leg and headed towards Poliwrath.
"Catch it!" shouted Koichi.
Poliwrath held its hands out ready to grab Primeape, but Ash smirked.
"Got ya, Primeape retract your leg and use Thunder Punch!" he said.
Primeape did so and when Poliwrath caught its fist, he got a big shock from it.
"Not bad Ash, but not good enough, Poliwrath Hydro pump!" Koichi said.
Poliwrath then fired a powerful blast of water at Primeape and dealing a lot of damage.
"Primeape get away and use Thunder bolt!" shouted Ash.
Primeape manage to get away and then smashed its fists together and fired a blast of electricity at Poliwrath and landed a direct hit, because of the rain dance and the Hydro pump attacks there was a lot of water that acted as an conductor of electricity and Poliwrath got slammed with a lot of damage.
"Poliwrath was sizzling and panting very hard, it was getting worn out and was wide open.
"Oh No!" Koichi shouted.
"Now Primeape finish this with Aerial Ace!" Ash said.
Primeape let out a battle cry as it charged forward, running at Poliwrath and its body becomes surrounded in white streaks of energy. It then jumps into the air and tackles Poliwrath sending it flying.
"Poliwrath!" Koichi cried out.
Poliwrath was sent flying and landed behind Koichi and it's eyes were in a spiral pattern and groaned slightly as he was defeated.
"Poliwrath is unable to battle, Primeape wins, which means the winner of the double battle is Ash!" Dante said raising his left hand.
"We did it Primeape!" shouted Ash.
Primeape was happy and ran up to Ash and punched him in the face giving him a right black eye.
"Ow you still do that do you Primeape?" Ash said.
Primeape only laughed.
Pikachu was happy and ran up to Ash's shoulder.
"Ash are you ok?" May asked worried.
"Don't worry May, Primeape sometimes does that when we win as a way of saying thanks sometimes." Chuckled Ash.
"Poliwrath are you ok?" Koichi asked.
Poliwrath groaned in response.
"You put up a great battle Poliwrath, but we have to admit, Ash really surprised us, now take a good long rest you earned it." Said Koichi.
He then returned Poliwrath back in its ball and then went over to Ash.
"Ash that was a truly great battle, I must admit, you are really unpredictable with your moves." Said Koichi.
"Thanks Koichi. " said Ash.
"Now then, since you have won the battle I must honor my word and you may both have Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan." Koichi said.
"Alright!" said Ash.
Then Ash and the others followed Koichi to the training grounds outside.
There they found Hiro and Mike next to a group of Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan respectively.
"Ok Ash here." Koichi said handing him two Pokéballs. "Now you know what to do."
Ash nodded and called for both Pokémon, one from each group came to him.
"Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan I hope we can do a lot of great things together, so let's make sure we do our best!" said Ash.
"Lee!, Chan!" they both said.
"Ok Pokéballs go!" said Ash throwing them.
The Pokéballs hit them and they got turn into a red light and went inside and drop to the ground.
The balls whirled as they shook and flashed red and did it for a few seconds before stopping with a chime each.
Ash went up and pick the balls up.
"Alright I got Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan!" shouted Ash.
"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Primeape!" shouted Primeape.
"Congrats Ash now you have 2 new Pokémon!" said Dante.
"Yeah now you are more stronger." Added Brock.
"Well can't wait to see what kind of combos you 3 will pull." May joined in.
"Well I'll say this you got even more Pokémon for the lab." Finished Max.
"indeed Max, I hope that they can get along." Said Ash.
"Ash, everyone thank you for saving the dojo." Said Koichi as bowed.
Hiro and Mike along with the Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan groups bowed as well.
"No problem." Said Ash.
"It was the right thing to do." Added Brock.
"Well just to let you know, you 5 are welcome here anytime you like." Koichi said extending his hand.
"Thanks Koichi." Said Ash extending his hand.
They both shake hands and they said their goodbyes as they headed for the Pokémon center.
(At the Pokémon center)
The gang had Nurse joy look after their Pokémon as Ash called Professor Oak and tell him the news, while Dante had to head outside to take a call.
"So Ash what's the latest?" asked Oak.
Ash explained what happened at the Dojo and then the double battle which he won and he got Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan.
"Whoa? How did that happen?" Oak asked.
"Well Koichi wanted to reward me for helping saving the Dojo and well the double battle happen." Said Ash.
"Well I must say I am impressed Ash." Said Oak with pride.
"Thanks Professor." Said Ash.
Just then Nurse Joy came out with Pikachu, Primeape and the rest of Ash's Pokéballs.
May went to go get them for Ash as he was busy talking to Professor Oak and she brought them over to Ash.
"Thanks May." Said Ash.
May only smiled.
"Ok Professor I'm ready to send you some Pokémon." Said Ash.
"Ok Ash go ahead." Said Oak.
"Primeape thank you for your help, I'll see you soon." Ash said as he returned Primeape into its ball.
Ash then transported Primeape, Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee to Oak at his lab.
"Ok Professor I sent them over to you." Said Ash.
"That's good I'll send you Swellow." Oak said.
Ash then received Swellow's Pokeball.
"Ok Professor thanks and take care." Said Ash.
"I will my boy." Oak said as he ended the call.
Ash then got up.
"Well that was interesting." Said Ash.
"Yep, so Ash I'll need to call my parents, so they can take care of Hitmonlee." Said May.
Ash nodded and let May sit down to call her parents and went to sit down on the couch as Max drag Brock away from Nurse Joy.
"Seriously Brock, that gag needs to stop soon." Ash said to himself.
Outside Dante on his Pokégear talking to someone and he sounded a bit irritated.
"Are you damn serious?" Dante hissed.
"I am, look I know you are busy with Ash and the others but I need to come see you, I have some vital information for you." Said the other voice.
"Damn it." Dante sighed. "Ok where do we meet?"
"Meet me at the Pokémon center in Celadon city, I'll be there around 2."
"Ok but make sure you are not followed." Said Dante.
"Ok I'll meet you there tomorrow."
The call ended.
"Son of a bitch!" Dante growled. "He better have some damn good info, before I use him for Sceptile's target practice."
Dante took a deep breath and calmed down before he went back inside to check with the others.
Soon all of them were sitting down at a table.
Dante was filled in by Max, who told him Ash send Primeape, Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan back to Oak's lab, May send her Hitmonlee to their parents and Brock send his Hitmonchan and Crobat back to his family in Pewter City.
"Ok now what do we do?" Dante asked.
Max then pulled out a poster regarding a festival at a place called the Rota Kingdom and there's a battle match there as well.
That got Ash excited and so did Pikachu, but Brock noticed Dante had his mind elsewhere.
"Everything ok Dante?" he asked.
Dante snapped out of it.
"Sorry Brock had a lot on my mind." Said Dante.
"Well guy I can't go to the kingdom with you." He said.
"Why not?" asked May.
"Something has come up and I need to meet with someone in Celadon City." Dante said.
"I understand Dante." Said Ash.
"Thanks Ash." Replied Dante.
"Look how about this we meet up at the Pokémon center near the battle arena in a few days?" Dante suggested.
"Good idea Dante, I'll send you a copy of the location now," Max said using his PokéNav.
Dante got the info on his Pokégear.
"Thanks Max, now then let's go get something to eat." Said Dante feeling hungry.
They headed to get some food and they all ate like demons at a buffet that would give someone like Goku and Luffy a run for their money.
Soon the next day came and everyone was well rested and have everything packed up.
"Ok guys take care in the kingdom." Said Dante.
"We will, meet you at the Pokémon center near the battle arena in a few days." Said Ash.
"Alright then good luck." Replied Dante.
Dante then threw his PokéBall and out came Salamence and let out a big roar.
Dante then hopped on its back and Salamence took to the air.
And then with a might flap of its wings and a roar Salamence took off for Celadon City as Dante waved bye to Ash and the others.
After Dante left, Ash and the gang headed for the Rota Kingdom.
'After an intense double battle, Ash has won and got both Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan and Primeape learned Aerial Ace, then Dante had to leave to attend an urgent matter but promised to meet up again, but what will happen when Dante meets up with his contact?'
(Meanwhile at Vermilion City)
Silver came out of the gym a bit worn out.
"Damn Lt. Surge sure gave me quite a battle, good thing that Nidoking is a ground type as well otherwise I would have lose." He said.
He held the thunder badge in his hand.
"Ok I think I'll rest for a bit before heading off to Celadon next." Said Silver.
He then headed for the Pokémon center to heal his Pokémon and he said these words in his mind.
'Only 5 more gyms left and soon I will face Ash.' He thought.
Then he walked on without another thought or word.
'Find out as the journey continues'

Ok that ends this long and overdue chapter.
Sorry for the wait and delays, a lot of stuff got in the way that's all I'm saying.
Now then to explain some things.
As of this moment, this story is on hold until late January or early February.
Because it's the holiday season and I need a major recharge.
Now then the next chapter will be focused on Dante only and Ash and the others will be mentioned is parts of the chapter, also as I said in earlier chapters the harem list for Ash will be updated, who else is going to be in the Harem? You'll have to wait and find out.
Also Dante will be getting one as well, but his list won't be revealed until ch27.
Also around ch33, Dante will be having a long talk with Brock.
Oh yeah now with the results of the poll.
By the results of 19 to 3, it's decided that Ash will catch Elekid in reversing the charges, so I thank you all.
There will be a next poll sometime when ch28 is uploaded.
Now also by the time Ash has arrived in Fuchsia city, he will receive an invite to Dr. Yung's lab and that's will the spin off story of my take on the mastermind of Mirage Pokémon will begin.
Now before I go I have one question for you all, it's been a few years since during Ash's time in Sinnoh, since we last saw Jessebelle and well I'll say this despite their bickering and other shenanigans, Jessie and James really do care for each other and Jessie is much more suited for James and I mean in some Manga they got married with a kid on their way.
So my question is this should James challenge Jessebelle to a pokémon battle in order to break off their engagement? Let me know.
Also I am dedicating this chapter to Jason David Frank aka Tommy Oliver, when I heard what happened I felt devastated, like a part of everyone's world got shaken up and so did everyone who grew up with JDF as Tommy as a power ranger.
But he's one with the morphing grid and he'll watch over all of the power rangers and as the old saying goes.
(Once a ranger, Always a ranger.)
We will all miss him, but as long we remember him he won't be forgotten.
We will all miss you JDF.
