Hey everyone how's it going?
Sorry it took a while to get this done I had other chapters and things in the way I will explain at the end.
Now then in this chapter Ash will face off against Greta in the battle arena with some surprises in store and also there will be a reference to a certain character from MHA so keep an eye out for it in the next chapter.
Also I reveal the result of the poll at the end and also I will ask you all one question at the end of the chapter.
Now then I believe it's time for the chapter to begin.
On with the story.

Chapter 26: a battle arena full of surprises part 1.
Last time: after saving the dojo and defeating the Pokémon brothers, Ash, May and Brock got new Pokémon, Brock got Hitmonchan, May got Hitmonlee and Ash got both and they send them back to their homes, then Dante left the group to go meet up with someone and promised to meet them at the battle arena as Ash and the others went to the Rota Kingdom, while there he met up with Enji who had some info for him and handed him a flash drive containing some info, then he rescued a girl named Ty-lee from some thugs after 'Castle' took over and beat them up and brought her back to her place and spend the night together and then went their separate ways for now and gave each other their numbers and then Dante left to go meet up with Ash and friends at the Pokémon center near the battle arena and after trading stories, they had dinner and went to sleep and now it's time for the battle arena!."
Ash and the others were up and already got dressed and had some breakfast and now they were waiting as Ash got his Pokémon back from Nurse Joy.
"Man I'm so excited can't wait!" said Ash getting pumped up with energy.
"Pika Pika!" said Pikachu.
"it's time for frontier battler no.2." said May.
"Wonder what this is going to be like?" asked Max.
"Well guys if I know one thing and that this battle is going to be something not and that's easy." Said Brock.
"True then again who doesn't love a challenge." Dante added.
"I know, but I'm going to win anyway." Said Ash.
"Atta Boy."
Ash and the others turned to see Scott with a cup of tea in his hand.
"I had a feeling I be seeing you kids so soon." He said.
They walked over to Scott and said hi and he said hi back.
"It's show time, you're ready to mix it up?" he asked.
"Yeah and before long that 2nd frontier symbol is going to be all mine." Said Ash.
"No doubt it will Ash." Added Dante.
(At the battle arena)
The battle arena is like a dojo and there people wearing blue karate Gi's and yellow belts and were practicing and down in the middle was a girl wearing the same blue clothes but with a black and red gi with a white belt around her waist, she has blue eyes and blonde hair with some curls.
This was the frontier brain and battle tycoon Greta.
She was teaching her students when she's not battling and they were doing arm thrusts.
However there was certain trio in the group of students who were worn out from the exercise.
That was Jessie, James and Meowth, they infiltrated the arena as students to try and get Pikachu, Jessie and James complained of the exercises and Meowth counter argued that they need the exercise and wouldn't stand out.
Just then Greta's attendant caught them slacking and told them to get back to exercising.
The trio replied and Greta scolded them and told them to say Oish and they did with a sigh and a groan.
Later they were balancing bowls on their heads and shoulders and on their toes and they had to keep it up for 30 minutes but they were so tired that they fell to the ground and broke the bowls and the attendant told the trio they were on floor cleaning detail.
The attendant walked up to Greta and told her that they got a message from Scott, saying that a challenger was coming today for her.
That made Greta excited.
"Let's hope that this one has some spine, but regardless they're still going down in flames, I cannot lose!" she said getting really pumped up.
(Back with Ash and the others.)
"Greta is the arena tycoon, dojo master and the fronter brain of the battle arena." Said Scott.
"She's a girl?" Ash said.
"Oh you bet and she is tough as nails." Scott added.
"So what kind of Pokémon does Greta the frontier brain battles with?" asked Max.
"Oh that's easy her favorites Medicham and Hariyama." Said Scott.
"Wow fighting types." Brock said amazed.
"Bingo! Greta's models are Chuck from the Cian wood gym and Brawly from the Dewford Gym." Continued Scott.
"No kidding those two are fighting type Pokémon masters." Said Max.
Scott then stand up and said "So shall we get going?"
Soon the gang left the pokémon center but Ash stopped as he pondered about something.
The others stopped and turned see Ash thinking about something.
"Medicham and Hariyama." He said.
"Ash is there something wrong?" asked Brock.
"Aren't you coming?" called Max.
"That's it, you guys go on ahead with Scott, I'll catch up with ya ok? Later." Ash said as he ran back inside.
The others asked Ash where's he going but he was already gone.
Later outside of the arena, which was behind a big wooden door, Ash and the others arrived.
"This is the battle arena." Said Scott.
"Right, Hello in there!" said Ash.
But no response came.
"That's not going to work, you should give this a try." Said Scott.
"I think I know what you mean Scott, like this Ash." Dante said as he took a deep breath and then did this.
"ARENA TYCOON GRETA WE CHALLENGE YOU TO A BATTLE!" Dante shouted in a loud voice.
"AND WE ACEEPT!" Came Greta's response.
The door opened up and there were the students all lined up and Greta was with them waiting.
Greta then step up and introduced herself, "Oish! The battle arena welcomes you I am the frontier brain and the arena tycoon as well Greta."
"Thanks and this is your challenger Ash Ketchum." Said Scott.
"it's a pleasure to meet you and this is Pikachu." Ash said pointing to his partner.
"Pikachu." Said Pikachu.
"A pleasure, I hope you're ready for a full battle!" said Greta.
"You bet I hope you ready for me to win!" said Ash.
Both trainers were fired up.
May, Max and Brock can see that Ash and Greta both have the same personality.
"So shall we get started Ash?" said Greta.
"Great!" answered Ash.
"Spin the wheel!" Greta shouted.
"Spin the wheel?" Ash said confused.
Then ground then opened up and out came a big wheel with a lever on it.
"If you spin a 1, it's a 1 on 1, a 2 it's a 2on2 and a 3 it's 3on3." Greta explained.
"Ok I got it." Said Ash.
"Good now spin it." She said.
"Ok here goes." Said Ash and went to the lever and pulled it down to the spin.
The wheel spins as Ash back up, around it goes where it stops that's the choice.
The wheel kept spinning until it slow down and it came to a stop on a red wedge with 2 dots on it.
"It's a 2 which means we battle 2 on 2." Said Greta.
"First 2 victories gets the win." She added.
"Sounds good to me, so let's do this." Said Ash.
"Good then prepare yourself for the battle of your life the heat's on." Said Greta.
"Yes and I'm all warmed up." Ash declared.
"Man they're on fire." Said Max.
"they're burning up for sure." Added May with Brock agreeing.
Then Jessie made a comment of not attracting attention had brought Ash and the others to them and then Meowth said that once they get Pikachu, they'll get some dough and James was cleaning the floor and Mime Jr. came to help and James told Jessie and Meowth if they don't finish cleaning the floor they will have to clean the ceiling as well, this annoyed Jessie and Meowth as they have no choice but to wait.
Later on the gong was sounded as everyone took their places.
Pikachu was in May's lap as she along with the gang sat next with Scott while team rocket was peeping from the corners and Ash and Greta on opposing sides of the field.
"The frontier battle between Battle arena tycoon Greta and the challenger Ash from Pallet town will now begin!" said the attendant.
"Oish!" said Greta.
"Oish." Said Ash.
"Now to bring out my Pokémon let's go!" she said throwing 2 Pokéballs and out came her favorites.
"Medicham!"
"Hariyama!"
"It is Medicham and Hariyama." Max said.
"Just like what Scott said." May added.
"Yup and now for Ash's choices." Scott said.
"Grovyle, Snorlax let's go!" said Ash.
"Grovyle!"
"Snorlax."
"Why Snorlax?" May said surprised as Ash's choice and so was Pikachu.
"I see now." Said Brock. "Ash went to ask Professor Oak to send them from his lab."
"It make sense to use Grovyle against a fighting type, but Snorlax I don't get it." Added Max.
"It is a bit strange, Snorlax is a normal type Pokémon which could be a problem." Scott said.
"I have a good idea why Ash brought in Snorlax, but we have to watch to see." Advised Dante.
"I'll start with Hariyama." Said Greta.
"Hariyama!"
"Grovyle you're first." Said Ash.
"Grovyle!"
Both Pokémon took their stances.
"It's showtime at the Battle arena and Ash is going up against the Arena tycoon Greta and her Pokémon Hariyama and Medicham, but how he will pull another victory with Grovyle and Snorlax? What kind of strategy does he have in store? Find out as the journey continues!"

Ok that ends this chapter.
Sorry it took so long, got a new puppy and writer's block can take a while to get done.
So the next chapter will have the battle and something else in store.
Now on to other things.
I would like to thank my friend Jacob for helping me to deal with the tie breaker in the last poll.
So in ch28 Ash will capture a Teddiursa, a male Nidoran and a Scyther.
So I have a new poll that will be uploaded in a few minutes and it has the following the question, should I skip May's 2nd contest?
The poll will be up and opened until 4/7.
Now also I will update the harem list in ch30.
And in case you're wondering yes Cynthia will be in Ash's harem.
Also I know about Ash leaving the anime and I won't lie it stung but I did hear that Ash's leave is temporary but I am not truly sure, but I know that the new pokémon anime will have some rocky starts but I am going to give it a try and keep an open mind.
But if Ash did return in gen10 I would be happy.
And also I said earlier my family got a new puppy her name is Hope.
Now the next chapter won't be out until late April.
Also during in April I will go see the new Super Mario Bros movie and can't wait to see how 7 years of work between Nintendo and Universal went.
So no spoilers please.
Now then I must get the next chapter of my alien academia done and the commission as well.
So I will be busy for a bit.
Now one more thing after Ash has won his 3rd symbol he will face the black fog and that Haunter is going to really test him.
Ok that's it for now, I'm off to go deal with some new tracks in Mario Kart.
