Hello everyone how's it going?
Now that I got 3 other chapters done it's time to get this chapter done.
Also I did say there's an update on Ash's harem and a sneak peek to Dante's as well.
Now then I will say that I will skip Team Rocket's Motto for this chapter.
Also there is an update regarding 2 new one shots I will do.
also there is a bit of a time skip in this chapter
But that can be explained later at the end.
Now then on with the battle.

Chapter 28: a battle arena full of surprises part 3
'Last time Ash's battle with Greta has gotten underway, Grovyle went up against Hariyama, he's able to land some hard hits, but his speed wasn't enough to counter Hariyama's power and was defeated, then Snorlax came in and was able to win and beat Hariyama but now it's Snorlax vs Medicham, can Snorlax pull another win for Ash?'
"Ok Medicham Focus Punch!" says Greta.
Medicham's right arm and fist glowed light blue as it gather energy.
"Snorlax quick use protect!" shouted Ash.
Snorlax used the move but the focus punch hit Snorlax.
That shocked Ash and the others.
"That was some Punch!" May says.
"Ok now High Jump Kick!" Greta says following up on the attack.
Medicham leaps into the air and strikes Snorlax with its knee sending it flying and landed near Ash dealing a lot of damage.
"Snorlax get up." Says Ash.
Snorlax leaped back on his feet but wobbled a bit.
"Looks like Snorlax has reach the end of the ol' rope." Scott says.
"Now to try to end this match, Medicham Thunder Punch!" shouted Greta.
"Dodge that and use Fire Punch!" Ash shouted to Snorlax.
Medicham came in with its fist, covered in electricity and moved in for the hit, but Snorlax dodged it and then struck its face with a fiery fist that dealt some damage to Medicham.
"Good counter! But you can't win battles in this battle arena relying on Defenses and counterattacks alone." Greta says. "Now one more Focus Punch Medicham!"
Medicham charged in with its fist's glowing light blue again.
"Quick Snorlax, Hyper beam go!" shouted Ash.
Snorlax gather energy and fired a orange beam from his mouth.
"Dodge it!" says Greta.
Medicham avoided the attack and landed the Focus Punch, sending Snorlax towards the crowd, everyone else got out of the way except Team Rocket, who Snorlax crashed into causing their disguises to fall off. Now revealed, the trio decide to put their scheme into motion, launching into their motto.
Greta recognize Team Rocket as well.
Then Team Rocket try to make a grab for Pikachu.
But they were stopped in midair by Haunter's Confusion attack.
"Not this time, you annoying lackeys!" growled Dante. "Let's send them flying Ash."
"Right Pikachu Thunderbolt let's go!" Ash says.
"Haunter send them flying with Night Shade!" followed Dante.
"PIKACHUUUUUUUUUU!"
"HAUNTTTTTTEEEEERRRRRRRR!"
The two attack merged and sent Team Rocket flying through the wall and blasting off again.
"Alright back to the battle!" said Dante.
"Right!" says Ash and Greta.
Greta told Medicham go and it charged towards Snorlax.
Ash told Snorlax to wait until the last moment and Snorlax got ready.
"Now let it rip with Ice Punch!" said Ash.
Snorlax charged in with an icy blue fist.
But told Medicham to use Ice punch as well.
This shocked everyone.
"When those 2 ice punches collide…" Brock says.
Snorlax got hit and was frozen in ice.
"No Snorlax!" shouted Ash.
Everyone was surprised that Snorlax was frozen in that big chunk of ice.
'Now what are you going to do now Ash?' thought Dante.
Ash had to come up with something and then the idea came to him.
"Snorlax rest!" Ash says.
Snorlax then fell asleep and he sleeps he regain his energy.
"Ash is using Rest to try to get Snorlax to heal." Said Brock.
"Yeah but talk about taking a big risk, if the ice break and Medicham gets in one more attack before Snorlax it's over." Scott says.
"Looks like game, set and match. Medicham keep up those Focus Punches!" said Greta.
Medicham kept hitting the ice with Focus punch and Snorlax is still using Rest to regain his energy.
The ice was giving away from Medicham's attack until Snorlax's head was freed.
Then Greta told Medicham to use High jump kick and managed to break the ice completely and Snorlax landed on his back still sleeping.
"Snorlax wake up!" says Ash.
"Snor…?" Snorlax said waking up.
"Now Medicham use High Jump Kick one more time." commanded Greta.
Medicham leaped in the air and did some judo flips and came in with its knee out.
"DODGE IT!" shouted Ash.
Snorlax dodged the move in time and Medicham suffered crash damage.
"Good Dodging Snorlax!" said Ash.
"Snor!"
"Well I'm impressed." Says Greta.
"That's nothing, we're just getting warmed up." Ash says.
"So someone was listening when I asked for a challenger with a spine." Replied Greta.
"Yeah and now I'll show you, Snorlax use Fire Punch!" said Ash.
Snorlax charged in with a fiery fist and landed a direct hit on Medicham.
"Medicham hang on!" Greta said.
"Now Snorlax hyper beam!" Ash says.
Snorlax gather energy and fired another orange beam from his mouth.
"Dodge and use Focus Punch!" Greta commanded.
Medicham dodged the attack and landed a direct hit on Snorlax.
"Hang tough Snorlax, Hyper beam once more!" Ash says.
Snorlax tried to, but he couldn't.
"Snorlax is wiped out." Said Max.
"After using Hyper beam Snorlax can't move until he recharges." Added Brock.
"Medicham now's our chance more Focus Punch!" Greta says.
Medicham moved in and delivered a barrage of Focus Punches that dealt a lot of damage to Snorlax.
"Will Power Snorlax, You gotta use Hyper Beam!" Ash said.
Snorlax is struggling to do so as he was getting hit with Focus Punches.
But Medicham kept attacking, Snorlax was able to gather the energy for Hyper Beam.
"This is it. Medicham Final Focus Punch!" said Greta.
Medicham moved in for the last Focus Punch, but Ash knew what to do.
Snorlax use Hyper beam on the ground!" he said.
Snorlax did so and went high up in the air towards the ceiling, avoiding the last Focus punch.
Everyone was surprised.
"That's it Snorlax finish this battle with a full power Body Slam attack!" said Ash.
Snorlax plummeted towards Medicham and then slammed it into the ground kicking up a lot of dust.
Everyone held their breaths in anticipation of what is the final outcome.
When the dust settled, Snorlax got up and Medicham was crushed and defeated with spiral patterns in its eyes.
"Holy crap!" said Dante.
"Medicham is unable to battle, Snorlax is the winner and victory goes to Ash of Pallet Town!" said the ref raising his left hand.
Ash ran up to Snorlax and hugged him say they did it.
The others cheered for Ash's victory as well.
"I'll say this, there a few trainers that out strategize Greta." Said Scott.
"True but this is Ash we're talking about." Added Dante.
"Medicham return." Greta said recalling it.
"You did well, take a long rest."
As Greta looked on at Ash celebrating his victory with his friends, something within her heart has awakened.
Later outside the Battle Arena as the sun sets, Greta congratulated on his victory.
Ash admits he hadn't had that much fun in a battle like that for a long time and Scott admits he hadn't had that much fun watching a battle for a long time.
"It's my pleasure to award you for the win at the battle arena, the Guts symbol." Greta said.
She handed Ash a gold symbol that look like 2 big capital l's but they're opposites from each other.
"Thank you Greta." Said Ash accepting it.
"Alright I got the Guts symbol and it's all mine!" Ash declared with Pikachu joining in.
Max told Ash he earned it and so did May.
"Ash don't forget that's frontier symbol #2." Said Brock.
"And your next battle for number 3 will be at the battle dome it's on Route 12 just south of Lavender Town." Scott said.
"Don't forget keep that fire burning!" said Greta.
Ash told Greta he won't let it go out.
"Well then I think it's best we get going and I believe it's your turn May." Dante says.
"That's right it's my turn for the next Pokémon contest." She said,
Max got out his PokéNav and searched for it and found the next spot it was in Silver town.
"Ok then let's get going, Onix I choose you!" Dante shouted throwing his Pokéball.
Onix came out and everyone climbed on and bid goodbye to Scott and Greta and they headed off.
Later that night.
As the battle arena was closed, Greta was in her room getting ready for bed, she couldn't stop thinking of the battle she had with Ash.
But her thoughts were focused on Ash and well she started feel a bit different around him and the feeling will slowly grow.
She had a blush on her face, but got rid of it when she shook her head and went to sleep.
But she still have dreams of Ash weighing on her mind.
(Time skip)
Ash and the others had a bit of a hectic adventure, first they came across a Pokémon farm and May's Munchlax learned Focus Punch and used Solar Beam for the first time and after helping the farm ranchers defeat Team Rocket, May was given a Pokémon egg and Pikachu learned Volt Tackle, but it was going to be a tricky challenge to master it.
Later on they arrived in Silver town for the next contest and after settling some family drama and such, May won her 2nd ribbon.
Also they had to deal with team rocket and a land developer who wanted to build an amusement park and spa complex on a lake where he once drowned, but was saved by the woman and Dragonair he decided to cancel it in gratitude and in the process Squirtle learned Rapid Spin.
After those adventures, Ash and the others arrived at a Pokémon center to rest and have a nice recharge before setting off again.
(Meanwhile in Celadon City)
It was late at night when Silver came out of the gym with a Rainbow badge in his hand.
"Damn I almost lost but I'll admit, that Erica knows how to use grass Pokémon well, but good thing I had my Crobat learned Aerial Ace and Feraligatr learned Icy wind and Ice beam." Silver said.
"But where to go next?" he said to himself.
He pulled out his Pokégear and checked the map.
He saw that Saffron City was close, but Fuchsia City is a bit further but he has heard of Koga and his Poison type Pokémon.
So he decided to flip a coin to decide.
"Heads is Saffron, Tails Fuchsia." He said.
He then flipped the coin and landed on tails.
"So Fuchsia City it is." He said to himself.
He then went to the Pokémon to heal his team and then came out and brought out his Fearow.
He got its back and told it to head for Fuchsia City.
Fearow nodded and took off at once.
"Soon I will face Ash." He said to himself.
Silver then vanished into the night.
(Meanwhile at Team Rocket HQ)
Giovanni was at his desk going over the reports from his agents when he got a call on the intercom.
"What is it?" he said.
"Sir one of our research teams has discovered something and want to show you in lab 4."
"Very well I'm on my way." He said and the intercom went off.
Giovanni got up and then left his office for the lab.
It took him nearly 30 minutes but he arrived at the lab where the scientists were waiting.
"So what is it, you want to show me?" he asked.
"Sir I think we found the location of the Black Fog." Said one of the scientists.
"Where?" said Giovanni.
"We're pin pointing the coordinates now." Said another.
"Excellent, now I will return to my office, let me know when you pin point the location, I'll have a team assembled to head there soon." He ordered.
"Yes Sir!" said the scientists.
Giovanni then turned on his feet and went back to his office.
When he got back he sat at his desk and then crossed his arms as he looked out the window.
"Soon the powers of the Black Fog will be mine." He said.
But soon Giovanni will come to wish he hadn't.
(Meanwhile)
At the ruins near Lavender Town and Saffron City, something moved through the ruin in the shadows, something sinister and dangerous.
And in the midst of the shadows a pair of glowing purple eyes can be seen.
'After a intense battle with Greta, Ash has won the battle and was awarded the guts symbol and unknown to him Greta's heart. Then later on May got a new Pokémon egg and then her 2nd contest ribbon and also Ash and May's Pokémon has learned new moves. But as our heroes were resting, Silver came out of the Celadon gym with his 4th badge and after a coin toss he headed for Fuchsia City and for Giovanni he was going to try and capture the black fog. But as Ash headed for the battle dome, what kind of challenge will the 3rd frontier brain will have? Find out next time as the journey continues.'

Now then I did say I was going to 2 new 1 shot stories and after a game of chance the first new one shot story will be a Futurama one with Fry and Leela as the pairing and the other one will be a Legend of Zelda one but it will be in the BOTW universe.
But here's the catch one of these stories will be on and the other on Ao3.
But one of them will be done along with another chapter of Deku's date dilemma story.
After that I will do 2 chapters of Cody's harem the final story part 2.
Now then, there will be a new poll on but it will regard ch30, I'll explain that one when I set it up.
Now then ch29 will be in the works but I can say it will be out sometime in late June or early July.
Also one more thing as I said the one person who would be in a relationship with Brock will be Lucy of the battle pike.
