Mana crosses her arms as she throws herself back in the seat that appeared behind her. "Marrryyyy." she whines. "Is this really necessary? Shouldn't I be, like, fighting that guy or something? Unless I lost…I don't remember." Mana frowns thoughtfully.

Mary - constantly shifting between what she looked like the last time Mana saw her (a kid with short orange hair and sky blue eyes) and what Mana assumes she would look like at her current age (a young woman with untamed hair and eyes that are looking at her very annoyed right now) - points a smooth wooden stick at the bulletin board of faces beside her. "Yes." Mary says without hesitation, making it unclear which question she's answering. "Now, we'll start with her. Who is she?"

Mana sinks back in her seat. "That's Rina, obviously."

"Rina who?"

"Rina Dawnstone."

Mary smiles, pleased. "Correct. Now, what is she up to?" she asks.

Mana blinks, confused. "Excuse me?"

"What. Is. She. Up. To. Question mark." Mary says.

Mana starest at her closest friend like she has two heads - which in fairness, technically she does.

Mary sighs, facepalming. "Fine. I'll do this one as an example." she says and makes a point of slamming the stick against the picture of Rina again. "This is Rina Dawnstone, the unfortunate object of Marcel Skarsguard's affections." Mary says. "Rina had a bad, sinking feeling before Phoenix Fire's game of hide and seek and as we just found out when you made the stupid mistake of saying Rina's name instead of yours-"

"Hey now that's not fair," Mana pouts and points an accusatory finger at Mary. "we've already been over this, whatever you're feeling I feel too. So when I'm panicking and you're panicking, I'm feeling double the panic!" she says and crosses her arms again.

Mary continues, ignoring Mana's comment. "-she was right. Earlier, something one of the masked servants said triggered Rina for whatever reason and she fainted." she says. "Rina was last seen with you and I with a strange man who reacted when you used Rina's name."

Mana grumbles under her breath, "I refuse to be the only one to take the blame for that…"

A Phoenix Fire Mage for a little over one year now, Rina specializes in Lipstick Magic, a Holder Magic. She's close friends with Emile and Danate - the latter of whom she has a crush on. Rina doesn't go out on many missions and generally stays in Zaflior to assist in handling things around the guild and do small, easy requests for the citizens. A native of the kingdom of Fiore, Rina has a lot of knowledge to offer. She hides it very poorly but she has feelings for Danate.

"Now you try." Mary moves on and points the stick at a picture of Mana. "Who is this?" she asks.

Mana raises her hands, a smug look on her face. "Who knows? Last I checked there were five people running around with that exact face-" she pauses, her expression faltering. "Well, maybe not that exact face considering it hasn't been able to grow for, what was it, nine years?"

Mary doesn't look impressed.

Mana curses under her breath, something about 'no fun' and 'Emile would've laughed'. "That's lil' ol' me." she says and tries to come up with something similar to what Mary summarized. "Um, I'm one of the four Phoenix Fire Mages picked to protect and keep an eye on Rina. Clearly we're not doing a very good job right now but y'know, what better way to keep an eye on someone than getting kidnapped together?" Mana says and laughs awkwardly. "Well, assuming that I can't put up a fight against this guy. That remains to be seen."

Mary nods, pleased with Mana's cooperation. "And you were last seen with Rina and I with a strange man who reacted when you used Rina's name."

"Again, that is not solely my fault-"

A Phoenix Fire Mage for two months now, Mana unwillingly specializes in Mask Magic. According to Mary, it would be classified as a type of Requip were it not for the souls residing in her masks. She's on a team with Akane, Emile, and Veiss. Mana is slowly, very slowly, regaining bits and pieces of her lost memory.

Mary points her stick at a picture with a question mark on it. "This is me. Summarize." she orders.

Mana sighs as she leans forward, resting her elbows on her thighs and her head in her hands. "You, Mary Brown, are collateral damage in our mistake. Last I remember, you didn't really have anything to say while we were interacting with the man. Too busy in our thoughts, I guess." she says. "Um, as you put it, you were last seen preventing me from seeing Akane in a swimsuit." Mana pouts.

"And I would do it again, pervert."

"Hey-"

Not exactly a Phoenix Fire Mage but indirectly one via Mana, it's not exactly certain what kind of Magic she has - if she has any. Cooley and Mana suspect it's a gun based Requip because of an earlier incident. She is the first and only child of Cooley Brown. Mary is close friends with Mana and she trusts Veiss because they were imprisoned by Revenant Beasts together. She harbors some distrust towards Calypso but otherwise enjoys her company as well.

Mary points her stick at another picture, "Who's-?"

"BEST FRIEND AKA-!"

Mary throws her stick at Mana, hitting her directly in the forehead, and pulls another one out of thin air. "Focus." Mary says and snaps her fingers. "There. I just let you borrow all the knowledge you don't have from the last episode."

Mana sticks her tongue out at Mary, gingerly rubbing her now sore forehead. "Fine." she says. "Akane Kumiko is one of the other four Phoenix Fire Mages chosen to protect and keep an eye on Rina. She's not doing a good job of either." Mana says. "Akane got the job of disguising herself as Rina since they look alike - y'know, long black hair, brown eyes, tanned skin." she says and starts focusing on the information Mary uploaded to her head. She frowns, her expression softening. "In Akane's mind, she was doing a good job of that when she really wasn't until Alistair found her and told her that Rina and I disappeared. She was last seen worrying about what could've happened to us." Mana says. "Oh. Aw."

Mary raises an eyebrow. "What? No snarky comment?" she challenges.

"Shut up, ginger." Mana says, her face coloring.

A Phoenix Fire Mage for at least a handful of years, Akane specializes in Chain Magic. She hasn't shown it off so it's unknown how skilled she is but Akane utilizes Fire Magic as well. Akane only freely admits she's friends with Emile but Veiss recently got her to admit she enjoys Mana's company as well (despite finding the both of them incredibly stupid). She has yet to confess to any positive feelings about Veiss. Akane wants to be a kinder, easier person to get along with but she's struggling with trust issues so most of her attempts at being nice often come off as snarky and mean.

Mary flips Mana off and points her stick at a picture of Alistair.

Mana continues, getting the hang of the strange review Mary's trying to do here. "Alistair…Bickerstaff, I think" she says. "He's one of the other Phoenix Fire Mages chosen to protect and keep an eye on Rina - very much against his will. Between the four of us guards, Alistair is the most mature and he was the one most focused on the mission at hand before he realized we - Rina and I - were missing." Mana says and stands up, stretching. "Mmm…Alistair didn't find the idea of modeling appealing at all and fortunately for him, now he doesn't have to." she says with a wry smile. "Unfortunately, it's because of me and Rina."

"'Rina and I'." Mary corrects.

"Once again, shut up. Alistair was last seen telling Ken and Akane about our disappearance." Mana says and steps up to Mary's board, scrutinizing Alistair's picture. "You know, I like this guy." she says. "He's like a dad. Or a grandpa. I wouldn't know because Revenant Beasts decided to screw with my brain and mess up all of my memories but he's, y'know, caring and stuff. And old."

"Oh dear, Mana." Mary sighs.

A Phoenix Fire Mage for several years, Alistair specializes in Hydrokinesis. However, unlike most Water Mages, Alistair is unable to control the temperature of his water and it's always boiling hot. When he first met Mana, he asked her about his missing twin brothers, Maddox and Mason. Unable to provide him with any information, Alistair took to once again watching from afar until he and Nelio were asked by the acting Guild Master, Theresa, to keep a closer eye on Mana and Calypso after the discovery of a Communications Lacrima Crystal on the roof of their guildhall.

As Mana starts pacing in front of the board, Mary continues, pointing her stick at the next person of interest. "Keep going," she urges.

"That's Pantry Man-"

"No."

Mana sighs and continues, "Ken Sevens - a nice name, actually, I like saying it." she says. "Ken is the fourth Phoenix Fire Mage chosen to protect and keep an eye on Rina. He was pretty happy with our circumstances and, along with Rina, was encouraging all of us to have fun with it because we were being paid to hang out and look pretty." she says and self consciously tugs at her sleeves. "Ken got serious pretty quick after Victoria told them what I told her - Rina's fainting - and he got even more serious when Alistair revealed that we didn't make it to the hotel like we planned to." she says.

Not much is known about the polite, gentlemanly Phoenix Fire Mage just yet. Ken is a big talker and enjoys teasing his guildmates. He hasn't shown off what kind of Magic he can do either but when he met Mana, he was practicing some sort of teleportation spell that landed him in the pantry of their guildhall. Ken also warned them about warning him if things were to go awry because his Magic would destroy a majority of the building...

Mary points her stick at another picture of a question mark. "This one is Marcel Skarsguard. Summarize." she says.

Mana shivers. "Marcel Skarsguard is a very, very creepy man obsessed with Rina. His whereabouts are currently unknown but he seems to know where Rina is." she says. "He was last seen in an unknown location with the shirt that used to belong to Rina before she gifted it to me - I KNEW IT!"

"Focus."

Mana huffs. "His last appearance was in Episode 17 Part 2 - wait, what?"

A creepy, predatory man who has been obsessed with Rina since she started modeling as a young child. Rina left everything she knew to get away from him but after one year of peace, it seems that he's finally caught up to her.

"I'll do these next four, sit down." Mary says.

Mana groans as she throws herself back in the seat once again. "Why? I was just getting the hang of this thing." she says.

"Don't worry. We have twenty-four other people to get through."

"Pardon?"

"As we saw in the special chapter, you have deep, dark, homicidal urges." Mary says and without missing a beat, points her stick at a picture of Emile: "Emile Solflare. He's one of the six Phoenix Fire Mages who stayed behind in Zaflior to investigate and hopefully apprehend Marcel Skarsguard."

Mana looks confused, "I don't understand - and I'm not saying I do have homicidal urges - but it's just Emile. Why would these alleged urges come out?"

Mary narrows her eyes at Mana as she continues, looking back at her board. "He was partnered up with Calypso and they were right on the tail of a lead when they were interrupted by a powerful, terrifying female Dark Mage from Revenant Beasts. She was positioned behind him and he was too afraid to turn around so he didn't get a look at her face. The woman claimed she was searching for something that was taken from her but she didn't elaborate as to what that thing was…" she trails off, a troubled look on her face. "or who." Mary says, turning back to Mana.

She deadpans when she sees Mana sitting there with her Black Mask on.

"This is why we can't have nice things, Mana."

"I don't know what you're talking about."

Mary sighs and finishes her summary, "Fortunately, the woman was satisfied with her interrogation of Emile and Calypso and left them breathing."

A Phoenix Fire Mage for several years, Emile is one of the many amnesiacs Nadine has collected in her tenure as Guild Master. A flirty, uncouth young man who loves girls and loves love. Emile specializes in Elysian Magic, a light based Magic unique to him. Emile is suspected to be the child of a human woman and an exalted (a long forgotten race of beings thought to be extinct) man. He's close friends with a lot of Phoenix Fire Mages, most notably Akane, Danate, and Rina. And of course, Novem. Emile has an interesting relationship with Calypso.

Mary moves on, pointing her stick at the only non-human on the board. "Novem, Emile's best friend and closest companion." she says, narrowing her eyes at Mana again when that familiar dark red energy starts lightly swirling around her hands. "He was napping in his usual spot - between Emile and his kimono - when the Dark Mage from Revenant Beasts interrupted Emile's and Calypso's interrogation. Someway, somehow, the Dark Mage knew Novem was there - Mana you're burning a hole into the arm rests."

Identified by Yuki, Novem is a Nine-Tails stuck in his baby stage for some reason, causing him to only have two tails despite being old enough to have more. Novem's presence in Emile's life is one of the many factors that point to Emile being the son of an exalted. Like his best friend, Novem doesn't have much of a filter and can be just as uncouth as Emile, if not more.

Mary pulls a spray bottle out of thin air, keeping it aimed at Mana as she moves onto the next person on the board: "Calypso Aurelia is one of the six Phoenix Fire Mages who stayed behind in Zaflior to investigate and hopefully apprehend Marcel Skarsguard." she says, spraying Mana when she sees her hand twitch. "She was partnered up with Emile and they were right on the tail of a lead when they were interrupted by a powerful, terrifying female Dark Mage from Revenant Beasts. She was positioned behind Emile who was in front of Calypso so Emile assumed she got a good look at the woman's face." Mary says and sprays Mana again without missing a beat when the darkness starts swirling around her hands again. "Yes it was dark outside but Calypso seemed to recognize the woman and the woman definitely recognized Calypso…"

Mana grumbles and takes off her mask with a frown. "She recognized Calypso but didn't try to take her back…?" she says, thinking back to how Kenji tried to use Calypso as bait to take her and Maryback. "...Unfair."

Mary ignores her, "Fortunately, the woman was satisfied with her interrogation of Emile and Calypso and left them breathing."

"But-"

"By the Goddess, Mana," Mary snaps. "we were a successful experiment, of course they want us back more than they want Calypso. She's only an ingredient to make their other experiment stronger, they can get her back whenever they want."

Mana grumbles again and slides down in her seat, pouting.

A Phoenix Fire Mage for less than two weeks, Calypso is a Take Over Mage that doesn't have any particular specialty just yet. She's very proficient in the Magic itself but she has zero combat ability. Calypso comes from a similar background as Mana, Mary, and Veiss and was kidnapped for the same reasons as Mana. However, for some reason, Veiss isn't sold on Calypso's story and he claims Akane isn't either - as a result, the two don't particularly get along. She has an interesting relationship with Emile.

Mary moves her stick to point at another picture, "Last seen in Episode 18, Veiss Dregliark is one of the six Phoenix Fire Mages who stayed behind in Zaflior to investigate and hopefully apprehend Marcel Skarsguard." Mary says.

"A fellow human experiment." Mana nods.

Mary nods and gestures towards Mana, "Back to you. Summarize."

"Right," Mana thinks, sorting through the information she already had and what Mary gave her. She smiles, "Veiss originally wanted to be on Rina's team for me-" Mana pauses. "-for some reason. After some arguing with Calypso once again, Veiss was partnered up with Danate to investigate the eastern part of Zaflior."

Mary smiles and nods approvingly. "Good ol' Veiss."

"I thought you liked Calypso now?"

"...Eh."

A Phoenix Fire Mages for a number of years, Veiss is one of the many amnesiacs Nadine has collected in her tenure as Guild Master. A snarky, argumentative young man, Veiss seems to only treat Mana and Mary with respect at all times; most likely due to having known them from his time in Revenant Beasts. He seems to be in a constant mental battle with something inside of him - identified by himself as 'Brother'. Veiss wields his beloved sword, Moonsaw, and a grotesque (at times) dark, void-like energy known as Nil Magic.

"M-"

"Morgan!" Mana beams.

Mary facepalms. "For the umpteenth time, no, this is not your sister." she says, pointing her stick at a picture of Madelaine. "Try again, she was last seen in Episode 18."

Mana flushes embarrassedly, clutching her head with one hand. "...Right. Sorry." she says and shakes her head. "Madelaine…Zehir. Right? Right." Mana nods. "She was one of the six Phoenix Fire Mages who stayed behind in Zaflior to investigate and hopefully apprehend Marcel Skarsguard. She came up with the idea to split up into two teams to have all of our bases covered in regards to Rina and Marcel." she says. "Maddy was partnered up with Acro to investigate the southern part of Zaflior."

"Good." Mary nods.

The two of them are silent for a beat.

"Why is it that you keep confusing her with your sister?" Mary asks.

"You should know the answer to that," Mana says. "Don't you have access to all of my thoughts?" she asks and sighs. "But it's because, well, she's pretty quiet and Morgan was - is quiet and shy and they both like books." Mana says, waving her off. "Plus they both have green eyes."

"Madelaine has white hair though," Mary says. "Morgan has black hair, like you."

"That's irrelevant."

Not much is known about the reserved and calm Phoenix Fire Mage just yet. Madelaine can almost always be found with a book in her hand. At times, it's difficult to get her to socialize, but as Calypso found out during their city-wide game of hide and seek, there's more to the 'Venom Witch' than meets the eye.

"Acro-"

"M-"

"Don't."

Mana closes her mouth.

Mary sighs and points her stick at a picture of Acro. "Explain."

Mana smiles sheepishly. "Acro Picasso-Atlas is one of the six Phoenix Fire Mages who stayed behind in Zaflior to investigate and hopefully apprehend Marcel Skarsguard. He may be young but he has a pretty good sense of right and wrong already. Acro was partnered up with Madelaine to investigate the southern part of Zaflior." she finishes and rolls her eyes when she sees the look on Mary's face. "That was one time. I've since learned what kind of person Acro is." she says and waves Mary off again.

"Still, he reminded you of Magnus-"

Mary sighs. "It's the hair and the eyes - blond and green eyes. Plus, they're not totally the same like Maddy and Morgan but both Acro and Magnus have hearts of gold!" she insists.

"...M'kay."

A relatively new Phoenix Fire Mage, Acro specializes in Clay-Make Magic. He's one of the youngest active Phoenix Fire Mages and as Mana said, he has a strong sense of justice and a heart of gold. Despite that, he is still a child so Acro can be pretty clueless in certain situations. He also hates wearing shoes. Apart from being a Mage, Acro is an aspiring artist…despite his less than stellar skills.

Mana starts as soon as Mary moves her stick to their newest topic, "Danate Lunith, owner of Rina's affections and Emile's idolization, and last seen in Episode 18." she beams. "He's the last of the six Phoenix Fire Mages who stayed behind in Zaflior to investigate and hopefully apprehend Marcel Skarsguard. He expanded upon Madelaine's idea to cover all their bases and provided us with the mission that got Rina and I in trouble."

Mary isn't amused. "Drop the jokes."

Mana sighs. "He partnered up with Veiss to investigate the eastern part of Zaflior." she finishes. "Also Rina's future husband."

"Mana."

Mana sticks her tongue out at her.

A Phoenix Fire Mage for a number of years, Danate Lunith is one of the guild's five active S-Class Mages and specializes in Darkness Devil Slayer Magic. A good-hearted, kind young man, Danate knows when it's time to goof around and when it's time to get serious. He enjoys seeing the people around him grow and get stronger and is grown up in that sense, but at times he also appears to have the same naivety as Mana when it comes to certain topics or social interactions. Surprisingly, he's much better at hiding it but he reciprocates Rina's romantic feelings. For reasons known only to him and Emile, Danate doesn't want to tell her.

"Now," Mary says. "We're going to move onto the non-Phoenix Fire Mages who're playing a part in this arc and then we'll finish up everyone in the guild, okay?"

Mana raises her hand. "What…'arc'?" she asks, confused.

"You'll find out later." Mary says, brushing her off. She points her stick at one of the two Aberrant Hydra Mages who took the same mission as Mana's team. "Victoria Mormo, the Crimson Witch of Aberrant Hydra," she says. "We first reunited with her right outside of the agency's building."

Mana nods. "Victoria recognized that we were doing something serious with Akane and Rina disguised as each other and promised that she and Yuki wouldn't interfere." she says. "Then she saw Alistair and started yelling at him about something…"

Mary stifles a laugh. "Yeah." she says. "And Victoria did indeed keep her promise until we ran into her when we were on our way to the hotel with Rina and asked her to let our friends know." Mary says. "We've been over the last part of that situation."

Mana nods again and sighs. "Victoria is so small but so scary…" she says, thinking back to Victoria's battle with Finn way back when. "And her Magic…" Mana shivers again. "Scary."

An Aberrant Hydra Mage for a number of years, Victoria is the guild's strongest Mage (and an S-Class Mage) and on par with their Master, Glinda. She specializes in a unique type of Maker Magic, Blood-Make Magic. It's unique in the sense that she has to cut herself with any of the several razor blades she hides on her person to utilize her own blood as a weapon, manipulating the hardness to her will because of the iron in blood cells. Victoria is a confident and proud woman who's rightfully arrogant in her abilities - although she's often humbled by her guildmates and more often than not, her wife. She enjoys using her young appearance to her advantage and gets angry when you comment on her actual age.

Mary points her stick at the next person in line, "Frenemy number one. What's his name?"

"Yuki Whiteclaw! Of Aberrant Hydra!"

"Where did we reunite with him?"

"At the same time as Victoria!"

"Where was he when you were being stupid and using Rina's name?"

"Again, that was both of our faults," Mana corrects, shooting her a look. "And he was with Alistair and Ken when Victoria found them." she answers.

Mary nods. "And why is he a frenemy and not a friend or an enemy specifically?" she asks.

"Because he's with Aberrant Hydra, so he's an ally, but he also knows things about Novem and implied that Emile wasn't human!"

"Good job. A-plus."

Yuki Whiteclaw, an Aberrant Hydra Mage. Not much is known about this man despite his numerous encounters with Team No Name. As he explained it, his Magic, Trickster Magic, gives him a strange, unique combination of abilities and spells. Yuki possesses knowledge unknown to everyone else and likes to claim every action he takes is in service of the Goddess, Soasis. He's an odd character, a trickster by nature and extremely witty. Yuki enjoys mischief and treats life as a game, constantly earning the ire and annoyance of his guildmates - but he also has a caring side and will defend his allies if needed. He also genuinely enjoys their company.

"Now," Mary says and flips the board so it's just showing three pictures. "The three Silver Sabelum boys who accompanied us back to Zaflior and participated in Phoenix Fire's city-wide hide and seek game. We'll go in alphabetical order." she says and points her stick at the boy who has yet to show any emotion aside from stoicism and panic when he realized Rina was going to smooch him to sleep.

"Akito Kageyama," Mana says and thinks. "Well, we don't really know any of those three yet." she says. "But they were kind enough to agree to stand guard at our guildhall because they're aware of the situation. Oh, and, um, last seen in Episode 17, Part 2."

Mary smiles approvingly. "And they originally came back with us to enlist Genesis' services. Akito wanted transport to a place called Ambrosia."

"Speaking of, I wonder how he is-"

"Shh, this isn't about him"

Akito Kageyama, a Silver Sabelum Mage specializing in Ice and Darkness Magic. Not much is known about this stoic young man yet however he seems to value the name of his guild, constantly going out on missions like his other guildmates to raise their name and Oliver's reputation as their new Guild Master.

"Koz Anhalt, go."

Mana beams with curiosity, "Last seen in Episode 17, Part 2, Koz is a blind Silver Sabelum Mage but he seems to be doing just fine." she says. "He also agreed to stand guard at our guildhall. Don't know much about him yet either but he seems to have a bit of an attitude." she says with a frown.

Mary scoffs, "Don't say it like that. Akane has just as much of an attitude." she says.

"Yeah but I like Akane when she's mean."

"What?"

"What."

Koz is a blind yet very capable Silver Sabelum Mage. As his Eye Magic isn't inherently offensive, he's most likely a proficient hand-to-hand combatant. Koz is a very cold young man, not having much respect for anyone but his old friend and new Guild Master, Oliver.

"And last but not least-"

"Kyza Miraj, my son." Mana smiles. "Also last seen in Episode 17, Part 2. The youngest active Silver Sabelum Mage, I think. Like his friends, he also agreed to stand guard at our guildhall after the hide and seek game." she says.

Mary mutters under her breath, "Well I wouldn't really call Akito and Koz his friends, considering how they are…allies maybe…"

Kyza, the youngest Silver Sabelum Mage thus far and a user of Celestial Spirit Magic. Despite his rough, almost scary appearance, Kyza is a very friendly and kind young boy. Definitely the nicest out of the three Silver Sabelum Mages taking refuge in Zaflior. Not much else is known about him just yet.

Mary smiles and with a snap of her fingers, the wooden stick in her hands and the bulletin board with pictures of their allies' faces disappears. "Now, I have to go-"

"Excuse me?"

"-but I do have this review sheet with updated information on everyone we've met so far." she says, staring off into the distance.

Mana turns to follow Mary's gaze, confused. "Who are you looking at?"

"The audience."

"What-?"

"I have to get going now. Read up, go on." Mary encourages, handing Mana a stack of papers, and blinks out of existence.

Mana blinks. "I…" she sighs. "What a strange dream…" Mana says, shaking her head. She makes herself comfortable on her chair and looks down at the papers Mary gave her. "Might as well, I guess…" she grumbles and starts reading. "I guess the episode thing at the end is when they were last seen…?"

Phoenix Fire

Nadine Septim - Phoenix Fire's fourth and current Guild Master. Currently away in Era dealing with unknown business, she left her mother in charge in her stead. (Episode 3)

Nadine Septim is a stern older woman who, despite the things that she's gone through, still remains kind. As Mana found out when they first met, she uses some kind of Fire Magic. Nadine cares deeply for her guild and has the respect and loyalty of even their most aggressive members, like Veiss and Cooley for example. Nadine lost her husband, Mach, and her son, Oliver, in an attack on the guild in X771.

Theresa Rodgriguez - Nadine's mother and the current interim Guild Master in her daughter's absence. She's slightly more of an aggressive leader, reprimanding Team No Name when Glinda revealed that she indirectly sent them on an S-Class mission and scolding Alistair and Nelio when they failed to stop them. Still, she cares just as much as Nadine. (Episode 16)

Theresa is very similar to her daughter in the sense that despite what she's gone through, she still has the capacity to be kind - although she shows it more rarely. Theresa hasn't yet shown off what kind of Magic she can use. Nadine is the wife of the missing second Guild Master, Santiago, and the best friend of the missing third Guild Master, Neptune.

Myling Alva - Probably the most anxious one of Phoenix Fire's five active S-Class Mages. She seems to be on good terms with her guildmates but don't expect her to speak unless you've known her for more than five minutes. [Episode 17 (Part 2)]

A nervous and jittery woman, Myling has yet to show off how she earned the title of S-Class. Not much is known about her yet other than her severe anxiety and her love for creepy crawlies…

Cooley Brown - Mary's drunk of a father that she and Mana are trying to fix. One of Phoenix Fire's five active S-Class Mages, Cooley is a boisterous and aggressive old man. He was a hateful, angry, and near useless drunk until Emile and Mana indirectly reunited him with his long lost daughter. (Episode 17 (Part 2))

Irritable and extremely protective of Mary (and consequently, Mana [consequently incessantly getting on Akane's nerves]), Cooley is a user of Guns Magic and a technique he learned while he was growing up, Bull Charge. He originally lost Mary and his wife to an ambush from his evil twin brother, Finn, aided by his new allies in Revenant Beasts. His wife did not survive the attack and Finn took Mary prisoner, not to be seen for several long years.

Genesis Adrestia - The fourth of Phoenix Fire's five active S-Class Mages. Like the unknown fifth, Genesis is constantly out and about; either on long missions or providing transport to other Mages as a side job. (Episode 2)

An extroverted young man with little regard for boundaries, it's a wonder how Genesis earned the title of S-Class. Granted, he's never been seen in action, but he does have a magic boat…eh.

Nelio Reonard - A former soldier in Valiance's military and a current member of Phoenix Fire, Nelio seems to have a good head on his shoulders despite his…quirks. More often than not, he's usually seen tinkering and talking with his little robots and lately, with Alistair as well. Similarly to Victoria of Aberrant Hydra, Nelio is older than he looks. Under the direction of Theresa, Alistair and Nelio were partnered up to keep an eye on Calypso and Mana. (Episode 18)

A good man despite his odd sense of humor and straightforwardness, Nelio hasn't been seen in the thick of the action just yet but he has revealed his Magic, Weakness Magic. It allows him to perform alchemy to create machine-based constructs and he generally uses this to repair and tinker with his robots. Nelio has a past with Luna of Aberrant Hydra, both of them being former soldiers in Valiance's military. He had an accident while in service and had to be nursed to health by a tribe of Machias. A result of that was a majority of his body parts being replaced with Machias parts; consequently he also looks several years younger than he actually is.

Marcus Bartlett - A kindred spirit to Akane's, Veiss', and Cooley's hot tempers, Marcus can usually be seen picking a fight with one of them. His latest target was Veiss. However, more similarly to Veiss, Marcus is more willing to show the kind side of him than Akane and Cooley are. (Episode 17 (Part 2))

Not much is known about Marcus other than his similarities to Phoenix Fire's other hotheads. He was partnered up with Cooley for Phoenix Fire's game of hide and seek but they were one of the first groups to lose. Fortunately he wasn't too disappointed to lose.

Silver Sabelum

Oliver Windsor - The young new Guild Master of Silver Sabelum, Oliver tends to get pretty lonely with all of his guildmates going out on missions. Granted, they're doing so for the guild and the village but still. A guy get's lonely. Oliver isn't very confident in his guild-leading abilities yet but being a long-time Mage of Silver Sabelum and the adopted son of their last Master, he still has the respect of his comrades and they listen to what he has to say. (Episode 15)

A young man who somehow ended up in the arms of his adopted father, Landon, when he was barely one year old twenty-two years ago, Oliver has had a good life. He grew up with people who cared about him, made plenty of friends, and now he's the leader of a fairly strong guild at the young age of twenty-three. Oliver has a good heart and cares deeply for his guild but he can't help but feel like something is missing from his life. Oddly, despite having never met a single Phoenix Fire Mage before, Team No Name can't help but find him incredibly familiar.

Lenox Arachnia - Oliver's closest companion nowadays. Lenox is a very shy and soft spoken young woman who has a very obvious crush on Oliver (obvious to everyone but Oliver at least). She's very capable but she's made it a point to stay in Wisteria to keep Oliver company while literally every single one of their other guildmates are out on missions. She has the utmost respect and admiration for Oliver and encourages him when he's doubting his leadership capabilities. (Episode 15)

Soft spoken, self conscious, and easily embarrassed, if you don't see her at Oliver's side, Lenox is usually hanging out somewhere alone. She isn't the biggest fan of crowded places and while she does lament the absence of all of her guildmates and friends, Lenox does enjoy the quiet it brings. Lenox hasn't been in the middle of any action yet but one has to wonder if her family name has anything to do with what kind of Magic she has…

Saul Morfran - A young man with an unfortunate number of scars, it's generally very hard to get along with Saul. However, being near if not above his level, Victoria Mormo managed to earn some degree of respect from Saul when they were contracted to hunt down Xander Break together. Unfortunately, that part of their mission was a failure but he and the other S-Class Mages did manage to capture a number of other Dark Mage grunts. Saul and the others received their reward from the Vice President himself and he was last seen when everyone departed from Wisteria. (Episode 15)

One of Silver Sabelum's S-Class Mages, despite his high intelligence, it's a little curious how Saul managed to get the title considering his…less than cooperative personality. Saul is sleazy, smug, and sarcastic and doesn't even reel it in when the situation calls for words more along the lines of something Lenox or Kyza would say. As seen in his fight against Heaven's Light and Revenant Beasts Mages, Saul is a Requip Magic user - specifically, Requip: The Assassin.

Aberrant Hydra

Glinda Goldkuhl - The young and pious Guild Master of Aberrant Hydra. Glinda is exactly what you would expect from a devout follower of the peaceful religion of Soasis - although even she has her moments of annoyance and anger sometimes, she's only human. Glinda clearly cares for her guild, having sent out her own members on a city-wide search of their missing member, Cole. She even went as far as sending young and inexperienced Mages from Phoenix Fire out to look for him…maybe she cares a little too much. (Episode 15)

A saintly woman with a heart of gold, being the Guild Master of Aberrant Hydra, Glinda likely has an enormous magical reserve. Being a user of Portal Creation Magic, it's also likely Glinda has been all over Valiance as she can open a portal almost anywhere you ask her to. We've seen what she can do with portals when she's punishing her guildmates, one can only assume what she can do if an enemy were to get a limb caught in one of her portals…

Cole Match - Usually a fun-loving, outgoing young man, Cole shuts himself away around the anniversary of his home's brutal destruction. Or, in the cases where the mastermind behind his home's destruction is around, Cole gets a little understandably homicidal, as witnessed by our Phoenix Fire Mages and Dark Mages alike. Alas, when all was said and done, Cole accepted his punishment and recognized he was in the wrong. He didn't tear Xander Break's head off his shoulders like he wanted to but he did gain an ally and mentor in a rather powerful Mage working for Valiance's government… (Episode 15)

One of Aberrant Hydra's stronger Mages, Cole is well on his way to S-Class but as the Grand General of Valiance's military said, he still has work to do. Cole utilizes his own type of Fire Magic, Flame Gauntlet Magic. Its flames have the strange, unfortunate side effect of hurting him when he conjures them, which is why he covers a majority of his body in fire resistant bandages.

Seinaru Fujisaki - Aberrant Hydra's resident emotionally challenged Mage, Seinaru is a man of few words and few emotions. That's not to say he doesn't care about his allies, though. When he encountered Xander taunting Cole, Seinaru was quick to anger and threatened to fight him himself. He was also eager to bring Cole back to Arkcester to ease the worries of his guildmates - although that was said less emotionally. (Episode 14)

A candidate for the title of S-Class within Aberrant Hydra, it's not quite clear what kind of Magic Seinaru uses but one can only assume it has something to do with the swords he carries at his sides. Other than his actions during the search and rescue of Cole and the Phoenix Fire teenagers, not much else is known about Seinaru just yet.

Neil Pace - Neil Pace is what Acro is to Phoenix Fire and what Kyza is to Silver Sabelum - their resident youngest active Mage. As seen when he tried to accompany Eira to Zaflior, Neil is eager to prove himself - either to his guildmates or the parents Eira spoke of. (Episode 15)

Nothing is really known about Neil but Eira claimed he was plenty strong. He's a very excitable young boy and appears to admire the strong members of his guild greatly.

Luna Luster - As expected due to the guild she joined, Luna is a devout follower of Soasis and prays everyday. She's a strict but nice young woman and if you ask Yuki, she's also a suck up (he still very much seems to enjoys her presence despite his claim). Along with her guildmates, Luna was tasked with searching every inch of Arkcester for Cole and was worried about him. When she encountered Alistair and Nelio, it was revealed that the two have a past together in Valiance's military. (Episode 14)

Despite her many encounters with our Phoenix Fire Mages, it's still unclear what kind of Magic Luna uses. She appears to be a hard worker and has little patience for those who aren't - as seen when she first met Akane, Mana, and Calypso and Yuki almost let their captives get away.

Eira Coslett - Eira had a rather unfortunate first meeting with our Phoenix Fire Mages - them confusing her with Luna, her flicking Emile's forehead after he tried to make a move on her, and Akane threatening her life because of it. Currently, Eira seems to have some business in or around Zaflior and says she'll meet up with Phoenix Fire again when she's finished… (Episode 15)

Eira is a friendly, outgoing girl who loves talking to people. She's fiercely loyal to her guild and gets very worried when her guildmates are gone for long periods of time: evidenced by her panic when Seinaru disappears and Luna and Yuki reveal that Cole is still missing. Her type of Magic is currently unknown but she seems to be strong enough and trusted enough by Neil's parents to take him out on faraway missions.

Revenant Beasts

Finn Brown - Cooley's twin brother, Mary's uncle, and one of Mana's three walking nightmares. During the battle between the Dark Guilds and the government, fortunately Finn didn't get his hands on Mana or Mary. He was having a great time dueling Victoria until he was swallowed up by the shadow of a nearby tree, similarly to the way Xander and Haze disappeared. (Episode 13)

One of the Revenant Beasts Mages reported to be at S-Class level. It's no surprise Finn is at the same level as his twin brother. Like Cooley, Finn is a user of Guns Magic and a technique he learned while he was growing up, Bull Charge.

Devlio - Devlio was last seen with two new faces by his side, Hibiki and Rosalia, trying to persuade (re: threaten) Mana into coming with them peacefully. As with all the other infamous Dark Mages, Devlio disappeared after Xander and Haze's retreat. (Episode 12)

This mysterious and aloof man seems to be just that. He hasn't shown any emotion other than anger when Emile slandered the name of Revenant Beasts back in Veneto. Unbeknownst to Phoenix Fire Mages, though, he's also capable of showing affection; as seen when he was speaking with Midas, a girl who's successfully been sneaking around Phoenix Fire's base undetected, stalking Revenant Beasts' former captives and waiting for a moment to strike. Devlio is quite the proficient user of Ice-Make Magic and also appears to have some skill in telepathy.

Kenji Onizuka - A confident, slightly crazy, self-aware young man. Kenji, like a majority of the Revenant Beasts Dark Mages, appears to know Mana from her time in captivity. He knows things that Mana allegedly told him herself - whether that was willingly or under duress is up for debate. (Episode 8)

Recent reports of Kenji Onizuka say that he's very quickly getting stronger and stronger, almost but not quite an S-Class level threat. He has a variety of techniques at his disposal: Illusion Magic, Darkness Magic, and Shadow Magic. His main goal appears to align with his Guild Master's: the recapture of Mana and Mary.

Hibiki Ito - A Dark Mage, albeit a very strange one in regards to being a Dark Mage. She seems to be a bit of a pacifist: having refused to fight Akane and claiming she doesn't want to hurt Mana. (Episode 12)

Not much is known about Hibiki other than the words Kenji used to describe her: 'lover of sleep and all things boring and not fun'. Although, considering what kind of person those words came from, it's safe to assume Hibiki has a better head on her shoulders than Kenji does. As for what's been seen of her, Hibiki appears to specialize in Thread Magic - but is that all?

'Midas' - Not much is known about this mysterious young woman yet, although from what she said to Devlio, we know that Midas is not her name. As with Devlio, she's shown a bit of familial affection for him. She's been successfully sneaking around Phoenix Fire's base for an unknown amount of time and only slipped up once - leading to the discovery of her Communications Lacrima Crystal. (Episode 8)

Whoever Midas is, as with the origins of her nickname, she appears to use some kind of Gold Magic…

Rosalia Moore - Your everyday rich girl elitist, it's very curious what could lead someone like her into joining up with a Dark Guild. She's extremely prideful but she's also critical and clever - she knows when she's fighting a losing battle. Rosalia was quick to give in to Alistair's demands after he threatened to boil her alive and fortunately for her, he let her go alive. (Episode 13)

A relatively new, prominent member of Revenant Beasts. Rosalia is quite the clever woman but despite that, she can't always get herself out of sticky situations. She specializes in a Magic almost as elegant and pretty as her: Flower Magic.

Heaven's Light

Xander Break - A seemingly pious older man who's also a traitor and a murderer. The Guild Master of Heaven's Light, he claims his goal is to 'purify the world with light'. He murdered the entire village of Markello - or so he thought. Cole Match, the son of his former best friend, survived and is out for Xander's head. (Episode 13)

A cocky and very calm man despite the sheer bloodlust that radiates from Cole when he's around, Xander is extremely confident in his abilities. He appears to utilize Ring Magic and Light Magic. With his history, one can only assume Xander is quite proficient in both.

Haze Vector - One of Xander's many lackeys, from what's been seen of Haze, he appears to be at the man's beck and call like a loyal dog. (Episode 13)

Not much is known about Xander's dog. He appeared seconds after Xander appeared to summon him with the blue ring on his thumb and most likely specializes in a Shadow Magic of some sort.

Uzlamain - Your average Dark Mage with a few screws loose, Uzlamain 'The Earth King' is generally a cold, stoic individual. However that's not always the case. When he senses power or one of his battles starts to become hectic, the maniac underneath his exterior comes out to play. Uzlamain's usual intelligence and patience becomes replaced with a mad thirst for a bloody fight to the death. (Episode 12)

Whether it was his skill or sheer bloodlust keeping him conscious, Uzlamain managed to survive several attacks from Ace before she finally knocked him unconscious. As expected from his title, the Earth King, Uzlamain specializes in an earth based Magic: Cavern God Slaying Magic. As seen by Ace's appearance after their battle, having God Slayer enhanced rocks thrown at you packs quite the punch.

Valiance Government

Eric Vaust - The Vice President of Valiance and current interim leader due to the President's sickness. Eric seems to have little patience for his new Grand General's antics but still places a great deal of trust in her.

Anastasia Elsa Safinirina Venidestine...or "Ace" - The new Grand General of Valiance's military and the Supreme Commander of the Rune Knights. Revealed by Eric to be a Wizard Saint, Ace reveals her status as the number two Wizard Saint. When Emile says the top four Wizard Saints used to be 'not exactly human' during God Serena's time, Ace merely says that that still holds true.

A scarily calm woman with an ever present smile on her face, after the meeting with Vice President Vaust, what our Guild Mages thought they knew about Ace quickly went out the window when she implied she wasn't human. As young as she appears to be, Ace claimed that Drake Match and Xander Break used to be under her command when they were Rune Knights. She also knew Cole's mother and Cole himself when he was a baby. An extremely powerful Celestial Dragon Slayer, it's likely that Ace is one of the strongest Mages in the country, if not the strongest.

"Well." Mana says, letting out a tired sigh. "That was a lot. I can only imagine how much longer this list would be if I'd met everyone in Valiance..."
