~Live Stream~

When the video started streaming, it focused on the couple sitting on the white sofa. Both held miniature white boards with erasable pens in their hands, and both were casually smiling at the camera.

The handsome blonde – Kise Ryota – winked and playfully saluted. "Hey, everyone," he greeted. "You may recognize us but, if you don't, I'm Kise Ryota." Gesturing to the raven haired beauty seated beside him, he introduced, "And this is Higurashi-Kise Kagome." He smiled devilishly. "That's right – we're married. She's my wife. In other words, if you even think about flirting with her—"

"That's enough out of you," Kagome cut in, brow twitching. "Seriously – Do you always have to do this? This is exactly why we can't go to nice places. You're impossible."

Kise pouted. "I'm just making it clear that you belong to me, Kagomecchi. Guys would flirt with you left and right if I didn't stake some sort of claim."

She rolled her amethyst eyes, exasperated. "Let's just move this along, Ryota. Tell our audience what we're going to be doing today," she said.

"Right!" Grinning, he said, "Since our last challenge went viral, we decided to do another one: The Newly Wed Challenge. And here to help us out – Mamoi Satsuki, our mutual friend from middle school."

The pretty pink haired female bounced into view, beaming excitedly at the camera. She waved. "Hi, everyone! I'm super excited to be here." Giggling, she added, "I hope you're watching as well, Tetsu-kun!"

"Satsuki will be reading off the questions that Ryota and I will have to answer together," Kagome explained, holding up her white board for emphasis. "This is going to prove just how well we actually know each other."

Kise smirked confidently. "Which won't be a problem," he boasted arrogantly. "I know everything there is to know about my Kagomecchi. This will be a piece of cake."

"Like it was a 'piece of cake' when you did my makeup?" the raven haired beauty teased.

"I still say we didn't have an actual winner for that challenge," he petulantly retorted.

"Whatever you say, Ryota. Whatever you say."

Mamoi cut in, saying, "Let's get started! We'll start off easy then work our way up to the harder questions. The first question is: What is Kagome's favorite food?"

Kise chuckled. "Everyone knows the answer to that." He quickly scribbled his answer down. Kagome did the same on her own board.

"And the answer is…" their pinked haired friend announced, smiling widely.

Kagome flipped her board around to show the audience her answer. "Oden," she said.

Flipping his board around at the same time, he beamed happily. 'Oden' was scribbled in messy scrawl across the white surface. "I'd be in big trouble if I didn't know the answer to this question," he confessed good-naturedly.

"I'm not that bad," the raven haired beauty protested.

Kise raised a single brow, incredulous. "You're kidding me, right? You nearly took my head off when I accidentally ate your leftover oden just last week!"

"I distinctly told you that I was saving it."

"I had just come home after a twelve-hour flight, half asleep, and I was starving. I said I was sorry!"

Mamoi leaned closer to the camera lens, blocking the bickering couple. Smiling widely, she commented, "Aren't they just the cutest? Even the way they argue is adorable." Leaning back, she turned to face her friends. "Next question! What is Kise's star sign?"

Immediately coming to attention, the couple scribbled their answers after erasing the previous one.

"And the answer is…"

Kise showed his board. "Gemini," he answered.

Kagome showed her answer as well, the word 'Gemini' printed neatly. Underneath, she also included Kise's birthday: June 18th.

"I bet Midorimacchi is also watching this live stream," the blonde male commented, smiling in amusement.

"I'm sure he's texting you your horoscope for today as well," the raven haired beauty added, nodding in agreement with her husband.

Mamoi announced, "That's the first round, and so far we're tied, one-to-one. Let's start getting into the harder questions now." She clapped to show her excitement. "Question: When was the first time Kise entered the infamous Zone?"

Kagome smiled in remembrance. "Ah, that's an easy one." She scribbled her answer down. Kise did the same, humming a happy tune as he also remembered that day clearly.

Then, as one, the couple showed their answers: 'During the grudge match against Team Jabberwock.'

"That was an awesome game," Kagome reflected. "That team really pushed Ryota and the others to their absolute limits. But I wasn't worried about the outcome. I knew Team Vorpal Swords would win."

Hearts floated around the blonde's head. "I could enter the Zone because I knew my Kagomecchi had so much confidence in me," he declared in a lovesick voice. "Her love is what pushed me to my greatest achievement."

"Don't exaggerate," she deadpanned. "I cheered for all of your teammates equally, not just for you."

"Hidoi," he cried out, waterfall tears coursing down his cheeks. With one hand, he dramatically gripped his chest where his heart lay. "Such cruel, cruel words!"

"You'll survive."

Mamoi laughed cheerfully. "Next question: At what age did Kagome start participating in archery?"

As Kagome easily wrote down her answer, Kise's brows furrowed in thought. Did he need to put down an exact age? He only remembered that it was during her middle school days. They didn't actually officially meet until their first year of high school, after Mamoi introduced them after a basketball game. That meant Kagome was either fifteen or sixteen, right?

Sweat began to bead on his brow. Crap, he was in trouble.

"Everything okay, Ryota?" Kagome sweetly inquired, smiling a little too widely for his liking.

He narrowed his golden eyes in determination. "Everything is perfectly fine," he replied. He wrote down his answer, choosing not to think too deeply. It was a gamble but one he was willing to play. Losing was not an option.

Mamoi announced, "And the answer is…"

The raven haired beauty showed her board. "Fifteen years old."

'During her middle school days,' was messily scrawled across Kise's white board. He pointed his marker at his answer. "Hey, I should at least get partial credit for this, right? It's not technically wrong."

"Hmm, that is true," the pink haired female said, placing her index finger on her chin thoughtfully.

Kagome shook her head. "But the question clearly stated that it wanted an actual age for when I started archery," she pointed out, smirking in victory.

Mamoi nodded in agreement. "That is also true."

Kise pouted. "Oh, come on," he whined. "I should at least get half of a point, don't you think?" He gave their audience an imploring, puppy-dog look. "We should have our viewers vote."

"Sympathy votes don't count," Kagome said, frowning. "And stop flirting with our audience. That is a total foul. How many times do I have to tell you that?"

The handsome blonde gave his wife a seductive smirk. "I love it when my Kagomecchi gets all jealous," he purred.

Her nose cutely scrunched up. "I'm not jealous."

In response, he only waggled his brows suggestively, strongly hinting what they would be doing later that night. His smirk was downright devilish.

"All right," Mamoi loudly cut in, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment, "onto the next question, shall we? What is Kise's favorite pastime activity?"

Kagome cocked her head to the side innocently. "Are you asking for the Rated PG-version or the Rated R one?" In the background, Kise's smirk widened, his thoughts clearly on the latter.

"Let's keep our answers Rated PG, please!" Mamoi nearly shouted, cheeks bursting with color. If she turned any redder, steam would certainly be pouring out of her ears. By this point, the poor young woman was regretting agreeing to help the couple film their little video. "No one needs to know what you two do behind closed doors!"

The raven haired beauty huffed. "I was just going to say that Ryota likes to watch those cheesy sitcoms and real life dramas," she said.

Mentioned blonde male chuckled darkly. "That's not what I was going to write down," he said.

"Just answer the question," Mamoi exclaimed in distress.

"Okay, okay," the couple replied, scribbling their answers down on their respective boards. At the same time, they revealed, 'Singing karaoke.'

"Next question: Besides Kise, who is Kagome's favorite basketball player?" Mamoi asked. Inwardly, she had to laugh. Kise would absolutely hate answering this question.

Sure enough, the blonde male released an annoyed growl. "Do I really have to answer that?" he demanded.

Kagome sing-songed, "It's part of the challenge, Ryota. You could always throw in the towel now, of course, and forfeit."

"Not a chance." He rose up to the challenge, shoulders straightening. With jerky motions, he wrote down his answer before turning the board around. 'Aomine Daiki' was written across the white surface, matching the answer that Kagome had written on hers. "Tch. I should get two points for this," he grumbled.

Leaning forward, she pressed a kiss to his cheek. "Don't be like that," she cajoled. "After all, I married you, didn't I?"

He gave her a suspicious glance. "What, are you saying you would've married him instead?"

"Let the record show that you said it, not me."

Kise gasped as though she had stabbed him. "Hidoi, Kagomecchi," he whined. "How could you say something like that to me? Especially when I love you so much?" Waterfall tears cascaded down his cheeks dramatically.

She cheerfully replied, "You'll get over it. Eventually."

"My heart!" he continued to cry. "My poor heart! I may never recover…"

Mamoi held up one finger, ignoring her distraught friend. "Last round! Here's the question: What would be Kise's alternate job?"

Kagome tapped the end of her marker to her chin, a thoughtful expression on her face. "That's actually a really good question," she murmured, mostly talking to herself. She gave her husband a considering look.

Then shuddered in horrified realization.

"What?" Kise questioned, catching the look. "What is that expression you're giving me, Kagomecchi?" He didn't like it. It appeared as though she had come across something truly terrifying.

She blinked once, twice, and a third time. Slowly, almost cautiously, she wrote down her response as if in a daze. Her reluctance was clearly shown on her facial features and it obviously pained her.

"And the answer is…"

The couple revealed their boards. 'Pilot' was written on both, though Kagome's complexion was paling more and more.

Mamoi wrinkled her nose. "Really?" she asked, incredulous. "Don't take this the wrong way, Ki-chan, but I wouldn't get on any plane you were piloting."

Kise gave his friend a dry look. "How would I not take that personally?" he rhetorically responded. His gaze snapped towards the raven haired beauty. "Wait a minute… You would trust me, right, Kagomecchi?"

She gulped. "… Yes?"

"You hesitated," he exclaimed in an almost scandalized tone. He pointed an accusing finger at his wife. "I can't believe you actually hesitated. How could you?" He was back to crying waterfall tears. "I thought we were past this? Especially after the eyeliner incident…"

I still don't let you anywhere near me if you're holding that, she thought, feeling an anime-style sweat drop appear above her head. She soothingly rubbed his arm with one of her hands. "We'll get passed this as well, Ryota," she said in an encouraging tone. "It'll be okay."

"My own wife doesn't trust me," he dramatically sobbed.

Mamoi rolled her eyes. After years of being friends with the blonde male, she was used to his overly dramatic antics. Sometimes, she had to wonder how Kagome put up with it.

Her conclusion? It must be true love.

Beaming once more at the camera, she announced, "And now it's time for the last question of The Newly Wed Challenge: What is Kagome's favorite thing about Kise?"

Kise abruptly stopped crying and whining, eyes widening in surprise at the question. "Kagomecchi's favorite thing… about me?" he muttered. His golden orbs trailed until they landed on the raven haired beauty seated beside him. Those same eyes softened when he saw the way her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. It was definitely one of his favorite things about her. No matter what expression she wore, he always thought she was adorable.

Kagome wrote down her answer, hiding the white board more than usual so that he couldn't glimpse what she'd written. A soft smile curved her lips, and Kise felt like he was falling in love all over again. The way she affected him so easily wasn't fair but he would never complain.

"Do you guys have your answers ready?" Mamoi inquired with a huge smile on her face.

As one, they displayed their answers. Kise's was left blank, his focus having been on Kagome the entire time, thus completely forgetting about the challenge. Kagome, on the hand, had written two words:

'His heart.'

"My… heart?" Kise quietly questioned.

Kagome nodded, cheeks flushed an attractive pink. "Yes, your heart," she answered. "It's connected to what you're passionate about, what drives you to become a better person, whether it be on the basketball court or on a modeling job. It demonstrates your compassion and kindness towards others and lets you empathize with them. It shows your loyalty to your friends and family." Using one hand, she placed it on his chest, right above the beating pulse. "It's what loves me the best out of everyone in my life. I know that no one will ever love me as much as you do, Ryota, and I know what a gift that is." She gave him a teasing grin. "We may argue and bicker, but I never once doubted how you felt about me. We're both competitive but at the end of the day, I know how much you treasure me."

"Kagomecchi…" Kise muttered in awe.

"I don't say it enough, while you tell me every second of every day how much you love me," she continued. "I love you, Kise Ryota. Never doubt that – even when Aomine is around and flirting with me just to mess with you."

Body practically vibrating with emotion, hearts exploded all around the handsome blonde as he grinned widely and pounced on the raven haired beauty. "I love you, too, Kagomecchi," he shouted excitedly. "I love you, I love you, I love you!"

As the couple laughed and just basked in the love they shared, Mamoi softly smiled at them before facing the camera once more. She gave a wave of farewell and turned off the recording.
