Chapter 17

"WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO ME?! WHY I AM A MOBIAN?! WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!" screamed TD in horror before he curled up on himself and began rocking on the ground, his eyes wide and his gem a stark white.

"It's just a dream, it's just a dream..." muttered TD as he rocked back and forth.

"Is he gonna be alright?" said Sonic looking at TD with wide eyes.

"Give me a second." said Tails walking over to TD and having his hand reveal its metallic nature.

*SLAP!*

"Huh?! Who? What? Where?!" said TD looking around before he noticed the stares and he got up and cleared his throat, "Sorry, I'm just shocked. What happened?"

"If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that whatever you touched must have been one of the important pieces of the deroboticization chamber and you touching it somehow changed you from a living doll to a living Mobian." said Rotor.

"I'm sorry, could you explain that to THOSE WHO CAN'T UNDERSTAND GEEK?!" said TD, his eye twitching and Rotor sighed in annoyance.

"You're a living being now, a real flesh and blood being."

*THUD*

Everyone sweat-drops upon seeing TD faint.

"A little too swift on the uptake Rotor." said Sonic.

"Come on, let's get him to the infirmary." said Sally picking up TD, "Wow, he's light."

One Hour Later; Infirmary...

TD sat up and looked around.

"Please tell me it was a dream." muttered TD before he looked at his claws to see hands with short claws and he sighed as he put his head into his new hands, "Okay, not a dream...a living nightmare."

TD shivered slightly before he wrapped himself up in the blanket on the bed and sighed.

"Bet I can't even walk." muttered the former doll under his breath before he got up and walked towards the door, with only a few stumbles, "Better than I thought."

TD then looked around the room and saw a few X-ray pictures hung up and he walked over to one and grabbed it and looked it over only to drop it in shock.

"T-three hearts?!" said TD before he checked his pulse and found that he did indeed have THREE hearts, "*Groans* I don't feel good."

TD sat back on the bed and wrapped himself up in the blanket again, his eyes wide and distant while his gem was a stark white.

Meanwhile...

"Three hearts?! How does he have three hearts?!" said Sally as she glared at Eggman.

"How should I know?" said the doctor shrugging, "All I know is that that device you guys made, made TD a Mobian and since he wasn't exactly a living being to begin with maybe it's his body cooping. Could be anything really. From what you guys told me, he was really freaked out."

"Will this affect him in any way?" asked Tails with crossed arms.

"Mentally maybe but personality-wise? No. I believe he just needs bed rest for a few days. Talk about weird right?"

"Any news on Robuttnik?" said Sonic tapping his foot on the ground impatiently.

"Only that he set up some kind of vehicle depot near some desert." said Eggman shrugging.

"Some help you are." growled Shade from the shadows.

Shade is now wearing a high-collared trench coat with sunglasses hiding his eyes and a wide-rimmed hat hiding his face.

"What's with the new look Shade?" said Sonic snickering.

"Put a sock in it Faker, er, I mean Sonic." growled Shade, putting his hands into the coat's pockets.

"What's it for?"

"Avoiding the fan girls you idiot, what else?"

"~Shade's afraid of girls. Shade's afraid of girls.~" said Sonic in a sing-song voice only to be punched in the face by Shade.

"FAN GIRLS YOU JERK!"

Sonic is seen with stars circling his head and Tails looks at the Sonic before looking at Shade with narrowed eyes and the red-black hedgehog gulps nervously.

"You knocked Sonic out. My turn!" said Tails before he punched Shade through a wall.

"I HATE YOU TAILS!" came Shade's voice from the hole.

"No you don't." said Tails with a smirk before a Chaos Spear embedded itself in the ground near his right foot.

"Run." whispered Sally to Tails and the robotic fox took off with an angry Shade on his tails and said hedgehog was throwing Chaos Spears at him.

"GET THE F** BACK HERE YOU STUPID LITTLE TWO-TAILED FOX!" yelled Shade.

"NO!" yelled Tails as he avoided the Chaos Spears thrown at him.

Sally sighed in exasperation.

"I'm surrounded by children." muttered Sally as she shook her head

"What are you going to do about the vehicle depot?" said Eggman.

"Destroy it."

"What about TD?"

Sally was about to reply when...

"The fox is gonna have to stay here because he's terrified of himself right now." said a blue furred wolf walking into view.

"And who are you?" said Sally glaring at the wolf.

"Noxalk." said the wolf smiling.

"What?"

"Noxalk."

"That name is so weird." said Sally walking off with a headache, Eggman following suite but massaging his forehead.

"If anyone has a mirror, hold it up to my name." said the wolf to the audience with a slight chuckle before he began walking off towards Robotropolis.
