"So we'll finally join Olmotack at the Empire. With the letters Olmotack wrote, he made it out to be an interesting place." Aiden Calger, the yellow eyed, raven haired boy said, "Where is Tatsumi? Did he already go ahead without us? Or did he sleep in?"

Tatsumi rushes in as Aiden says this, "Hey! Sorry I'm late!" He was out of breath.

"Really gonna slow us down Tatsumi?" Leyasu exclaimed in a joking manner.

"Yeah Tatsumi." Sayo added on, with a grin while putting an arm around him

"Knock it off guys! It's not that much of a big deal!"

"Well then, do you all have everything? Or did any of you forget something... Looking at you, Tatsumi." Aiden chuckled, remembering memories he had of Tatsumi forgetting many important things.

"Well don't, cause I got everything this time around!" This causes his two friends to laugh as well.

Aiden sighed, smiling happily, "Alright then, without further ado, let's go! Olmotack must be eagerly waiting for our arrival." Aiden said

All of them follow with gusto. Just as the original AkameGa Kill, the group of bandits would separate them all, but Aiden would remain with Tatsumi.

As Tatsumi was trying to enlist in the army, when they arrived at the Capital, Aiden remained outside, surveying the scene. Aiden then saw a glimpse of someone watching him in a cloak, a hint of yellow could be seen under the hood, which piqued Aiden's interest, and he could feel something was different about that figure. Aiden drew closer, and as he did, the person started to walk away. In turn, Aiden went faster and faster, following the person, until they reached an alleyway, but when he thought he cornered them, he saw they were gone, and Aiden found he was lost. "Ah shit. What did I get into this time." He said, looking around

This mystery person spoke, leaning behind the wall behind Aiden, revealing herself to be a woman. "You lost, kid?"

Aiden unsheathes his shortsword and points it at the figure, "Who are you? Why the hell were you watching us?"

"Hey now. I'm not gonna hurt you. Unless you hurt me so… None of that okay?" She reveals herself with her arms raised up. "I can help you know."

"What the hell are you talking-" His eyes wander down, where he then notices her belt, he had a feeling he knew what it was, as he read many books, but played it cool. "What are you talking about..." He said, staying calm and collected.

"You're lost. I can tell. I can help you around the Capital." She begins to say innocently.

He knew something was off, and decided to brush her off, "Thanks, but no thanks. I need to get back to a friend." He says, brushing past, giving one last glance at the imperial arm, before trying to walk away.

"Oh- Hey! Come on! All I'm gonna do is buy you some lunch! Plus I can help you find your friend!"

He looked at her, and decided to play along, "Fine, if you wish. Let's make it fast though. Lead the way." He said reluctantly with a sigh

"Right! So where is your friend?"

"Off to enlist in the Imperial Army... Gotta say, I don't know if he'd make it in. Personally, I'm not too interested. I can fight, but I don't know enough about the Empire to make a conclusion. Another friend of mine came here some time ago. He claimed this place was a nice place, and was ushering us to come in."

"Ah. The Imperial Army. Gonna be a hard time getting in there."

"So I've heard..." He said looking around, "I've been hearing rumors too..."

"What kind?" She plays innocent.

"Oh you know... Rumors about corrupt government officials and such as, all that gossip... But a big one I've heard..." He looked at her through the corner of his eye ominously, "A group of individuals murdering people..." He then shrugged to play it off, "But what do I know? I'm just a newcomer here. They could all be lies..." He said casually.

"A friend and I have been living in the woods for a long time before we were adopted in our village. We've picked up on many stories over the years."

She was silent for a bit. "Hm..." It seems this topic was a sore point for her.

"How far is the lunch place? It will be awhile before Tatsumi gets out, as per the large line I saw…" He said, looking around the city.

She shakes her head. "Oh, right here! I always buy the best food here!" She goes back to her cheerful self.

He sniffs the air, "Smells appealing... I have enough money for a meal for us..." He opens the door for Leone.

She didn't see it coming. "Ah. Smart boy." She would proceed to order as much as she wanted, hoping he could afford it. "You sure we couldn't find your friend first? He's gonna miss out on the food."

"I'm sure..." He said "It should take a bit anyways... Er..." He looked at her up and down, "You sure you can eat all that?"

"Ah don't worry, I have a big appetite!"

"Right..." He says as he sits. "So, tell me, how is it around these parts?"

"Oh, it is pretty dangerous. You could get looted if you're not careful. Gotta be lucky and have the right friends to get around, if you know what I mean." She said in a sly manner.

"Right…" He said skeptically. Soon the food arrived and they began to eat. Afterwards, Leone chugged some of the Alcohol and belched in satisfaction.

"Ooooooh, so good!"

Aiden wiped his mouth clean, "There. Now that that is finished, I'd like to find my friend now. He must be clueless as to where I am." He said, getting up.

She seems a little taken back. "Hm." She smiles, nodding. "Makes sense for a nobody."

He takes out a sack of money, and places it onto the table. "Well… That's almost all I got. Luckily I'll maybe have enough for a room for Tatsumi and I… Yeesh- less they're very expensive."

Leone has her eyes on the rest. "Yeah. Gotta hang on to that..."

Aiden safely puts the rest of his money into his inner hoodie pocket, then opens the door for Leone as they exit into the setting day.

"Perhaps it would be better if you gave me instructions on where my friend could be?"

"Oh, he could be anywhere. Just tell me what he looks like." She asks. Aiden then describes Tatsumi.

Leone hums a bit in thought. "I see. Sounds cute..." She says to herself. "Alright, let's go and..." She notices something that got her attention.

He tilts his head, "what?"

She notices a carriage picking up a brown haired boy. Also being carried by a very familiar blonde girl. "Hm… Uh… What's your name again?"

"Aiden..." He looks at the same carriage "Something isn't right… Is that…?" He asked uncomfortably.

"Well Aiden… I might have to show you something." She was playing the long game to recruit him. But after seeing Tatsumi was with some suspicious people, she might have to speed up the process.

Aiden also seemed to get the picture, "Lead the way, ma'am." He said with a serious expression.

As they went to meet with Night Raid, she would then reveal him about a very nasty family that hunts down homeless people of the Capital, pick them up, put them on a false sense of security, then put them all kinds of torture before they kill them.

He gasped, "We need to get Tatsumi, quickly… I knew those rumors had truth to them… What should we do?"

"Slow down. They take their time on this. We'll have time to introduce you to the crew."

"Crew?" He said, 'So my suspicions were right...' Aiden said internally, 'Let's hope they don't catch on about me either…'

She smirks. "I'm glad you asked." She would introduce him to Night Raid, something they question since she is just introducing a new guy and spoiling their positions. Although she assures them that he will help them with their next targets. She would eventually introduce him to her close friends.

Olmotack collides with Aiden in a hug, "Wow, Olmotack, hey! This is where you've been?!"

"Yes, but I wasn't able to tell you... Plus, boss said she'd kill me if I did." He looks over to Najenda with a sweat-drop.

Aiden then looked to the others, eyeing their imperial arms.

"So you must be the 'murderer' they spoke about in the rumors I've heard…" He said, observing them.

Leone smiles. "I didn't know you guys were friends! Could have told me!" Dodging what he said.

But Akame is more serious. "Right now, all you need to know is we are about to eliminate those who cause suffering in the Capital."

He looked at Akame, and he would observe her carefully, before nodding. "I believe I can run with that... If it's for the better of the Empire, and possibly the world, I'll do what I can to help..."

Olmotack smiled, "I knew you'd come around. Hey wait, where's Tatsumi?" Olmotack asked, scratching his head.

"He was abducted by that family Leone told me about." This statement made Olmotack serious, and he grew an angry expression.

Leone grins. "Great! Now then, are you ready to make the world a better place?" She said in a sinister manner.

Mine scoffs, "Don't try to slow us down." She retorts.

Aiden rolls his eyes to Mine's comment, "Yeah, I'm in."
