For some reason, this chapter was such a bitch to write but I was able to finish it, even if it's not the best.
You get to meet the new Council and all of its members. Hopefully, we'll see more of them and not just this one time. We'll see how things go.
Lastly, this is a day early, since I'm gonna be doing things tomorrow and most likely forget to post this. So enjoy!

-Kandrakar-

-September 26th-

After the latest fight with the Order of Shadows, Queen Cornelia thought it was best that the Guardians meet with the Council of the Infinite Dimensions to learn a little more about the Order and the Infinite Dimensions. So, two days after the fight the Queen asked Hay-Lin to bring the girls to Kandrakar, the dimension where the Council currently resides, to meet the members of the Council and discuss the next possible plan to detain the Order.

"Why do I feel so underdressed?" CJ tugged down her blue halter top passed her belly button while looking around at all the council members' beautiful, high-end clothing that were no doubt native to their home worlds. "Why do we have to be in our Guardian form?"

"Yeah, couldn't we have worn something formal like them?" Izzy asked, twirling the strings attached to her pink shorts, that functioned as some sort of belt. "But I think I would feel more awkward dressed in a dress or something like that."

The others were saved from replying by Queen Cornelia and King Celeb entering the room, asking everyone to take a seat so the meeting could begin; the Guardians sitting at the end of the table, opposite of the King and Queen with the remaining Council members filling in the seats in between. After introducing everyone, the King began to explain the origins of the Council of the Infinite Dimensions.

"About 2 years after the original Council of Kandrakar was destroyed there was a need for a new stronger council. With that being said, with the help of the previous Guardians, Queen Cornelia was able to bring together beings of the dimensions that were protected from the evil that is still out there; the dimensions that were still fighting to protect their homes."

The Guardians glanced at one another, all thinking the same thing – evil still out there? None of the girls liked the sound of that; especially since they still do not know who the Order of Shadows truly are and were hearing about this evil, that was still out there, for the first time. Something was definitely going on that the girls were not aware of.

"Although it has taken time to gain the trust and respect of those who are sitting around this table today, as well as our other allies, it was well worth it; together we have been able to achieve so much more than we would have separately. We have freed so many dimensions from the hold the Order had on them. And now with the council being larger and stronger than before we have been able to spread hope throughout the dimensions and gain allies from over 40 different dimensions."

"But we also had the previous Guardians aiding us," Myleala stated, rather firmly. A centaur from the dimension of Mormia, Myleala was as hardheaded as they came; not liking change nor liking the Order coming out of the shadows again. "What makes you think these girls can keep up with your generation of Guardians, your Majesty? Like the King had stated, your generation was able to achieve many feats in your time as Guardians and these girls are only just beginning their time."

"Remember Queen Cornelia's generation of Guardians did not know their full capability when they first started," Vaos countered her statement, adding a low growl at the end. Hailing from the dimension of Valedge, Vaos' bear shifting species is known to have a light rivalry with the centaurs of Mormia but Vaos' and Myleala's rivalry has a whole different history behind it. "Of course, they will be inexperience but I know they will grow stronger to accomplish great feats just like Queen Cornelia's Generation."

"No pressure," Izzy whispered, sarcastically, the other girls silently agreeing.

"Regardless of who the Guardians are, the Dwarves of Bul Maldur will always stand with them with every battle," Orikhun exclaimed, holding his axe high. Just like all Dwarves on Bul Maldur, Orikhun Greyminer, was a skillful blacksmith that provided the rebellion and countless dimensions with weapons to protect themselves from the Order and other threats. He turned towards the girls, the hand not holding his axe was placed over his heart. "And we would be honored if the Guardians would come and visit Bul Maldur. It is quite beautiful this time of the year."

"And we would be honor to travel to your dimension," Wynter spoke, returning his smile before looking around at the other members. "We would like to see all of your home dimensions, as long as we are welcomed to do so. I believe it will help us better understand this whole Guardian position the five of us are currently in."

"If that is how you feel then you are welcome on my home dimension of High Silver as well," Lutum said, tone light and soft. Gentle beings by nature, the Elves of High Silver are masters of magic and would prefer to avoid all acts of physical fights if possible. "I believe it could benefit the Guardians if they were to learn the magical part of their powers."

"If that's the case then they should come to Corcan," Volaris' deep voice echoed through the room as he leaned on the table, red sparks flying between his fingers. Volaris of Corcan and his people have control over the four elements. Volaris is among the few that have the ability to control their element's sub element, in his case, lightning. "My peoples' powers are closer to the Guardians own power than your magical stuff is."

"The only thing they will learn from your people is how to destroy things," Lutum retorted, golden eyes narrowing at the large man across from her.

"And the only thing your people will teach them how not to fight," Volaris slammed his hands down, pushing himself up, sparks stronger than before, making the ones next to him lean away from the angered man.

"Volaris," King Celeb stood as warning towards the man.

Volaris sat back down with a grunt and scowl directed at the elf.

"We would like to learn from all of you," Wynter stated once things calmed down. "It could benefit all of us."

"I agree with you, Keeper," Zaner finally spoke. A Seer from the dimension Arcton, Zaner and his people are often misjudged, given their ability to see the future or one's past. Everyone who comes in contact with a Seer is always a bit wary of the beings. He looked at each one of the girls before his eyes settled on the leader. "So long as you keep this council and your allies together you will succeed. I can assure you that."

Wynter and the others appreciated the support from most of the Council but the girls had some serious work to do if they wanted to meet those expectations or be anywhere close to where Hay-Lin and Cornelia's generation of Guardian were at before they passed the responsibility off to the girls.

The meeting had continued with discussions on what to do with the Order, when more training began for the girls and anything else that had to do with the Guardians or protecting the infinite dimensions taking place.

After the meeting was finished, Hay-Lin and Cornelia led the girls to the room where the Aurameres resided in and to meet the twin protectors of said objects.

"Grandma," Hay-Lin drawled out upon seeing the woman in the Auramere room. "You were supposed to be at the meeting. You are the Oracle, after all. "

The woman waved off her granddaughter. "It's always the same thing. Plus, I see everything I need to."

She spread out her arms motioning to the five floating orbs in front of her, each radiating its own different but beautiful color.

Hay-Lin let the matter drop, knowing nothing would work. "Girls, this is Yan-Lin, my grandmom and the Oracle."

Cornelia leaned over to answer the Guardians' obvious questions. "It's a long story as to how and why she is alive and is the Oracle."

"So that story can be saved for another time. Come."

The girls followed her order, surrounding the pedestal and standing in front of an orb, strangely enough they all settled at their correct Aurameres. Wynter stood still, staring at the lilac colored orb, shining brighter now that she was in front of it. Izzy swiped her hand under her own fiery colored orb, feeling the heat radiating off of it. CJ ran a finger around the forest color orb, watching as the color got darker where she touched it. Khloe smiled at the almost neon pink orb, clearly pleased with the color and style of the object. Dakota tilted her head to the side, examining her baby blue orb, fascinated at the floating object and all its possible wonders.

"Aurameres, the physical and mystical essence of the Guardians' elemental powers," Yan-Lin started as she circled around them. "In other words, the things that give you your powers and things that by all means, must be protected."

"What happens if they are destroyed?" Wynter asked, running her hand along her Auramere.

"You lose your elemental and Guardian abilities," a voice said behind Wynter.

"Forever," a similar voice finished with the same ominous tone.

"Yor and Roy, Twins from the dimension of Tollot and the protectors of the Aurameres," Cornelia said, bowing her head slightly as form of a greeting.

The black haired men mirrored the Queen's greeting with their own before simultaneously saying, "and it is a pleasure to finally meet all of you."

Tollot was known as the 'Mirror Dimension'. Meaning all its residents were mirrored twins, beings that looked like they were looking at themselves in a mirror. Everything from their names to their appearances were reflected of one another.

"So back to the whole losing our powers thing," Khloe insisted after everyone said their greetings. "Does that mean the whole Guardian thing stops? Like no one else gets to be a Guardian?"

"No, it means you five stop being the Guardians," Yor stated, rather calmly with his hand clasped behind his back.

"But we will do everything in your power to prevent that from happening," Roy promised, standing in the exact stance of his brother. "You have our word."

"And you two have the power to project these?" Izzy asked, tone a bit suspicious. "How are you two gonna project the objects that give five teenage girls superpowers, when it doesn't seem like you have any yourselves?"

"I can assure you when we were chosen as the protectors of the Aurameres we were given powers," Yor said, keeping his calm tone.

"Powers that, as of right now, out weighs your own Guardian powers," Roy said, a slight haughtiness to his tone.

Izzy stepped forward only to be stopped by Khloe putting her arm out, effectively ceasing her attack. With her reaction, Wynter and Dakota rolled their eyes, whereas CJ chuckled.

"Is this how you knew we were the new Guardians?" Dakota asked, turning back to the Aurameres and taking the attention off Izzy.

"Part of it had to with the Aurameres."

"Part of it was due to the Oracle."

"I was able to see the five of you and all you become. Just like with the Oracles before me and the Guardians before you," Yan-Lin elaborated as she stood with the Queen and her granddaughter. "There were many before you and there will always be the ones after you; all of which will accomplish their own significant feats as their time as Guardians. Including the five of you."

"That's a lot to live up to," Wynter admitted, picking at her nails before raising her chin. "But I think… no I know we will be able to do it! We just need to keep training and learning as much as we can and with the help of our current and new allies we might just be unstoppable."
