Chapter Thirty-Four - What Lays Underneath

"I must thank you for your help yesterday, Uzumaki-dono."

Naruto looked up at Mui as the man entered the rest area for prisoners. The blonde had finished interviewing the oldest serving prisoner of the Castle, a former Jonin of Yugakure and of the near-extinct Chinoike clan. He is nearly eighty years old, being in the castle for forty-five years. What he shared shined light on the cruelty and difference that has happened under Mui's eyes.

Mui used to be a respectable and responsible warden up until ten or so years ago. The man treated the prisoners like human beings even if he was required to make sure they will never be free again in their lifetime. This was mostly because of his late son Muku, a boy born with a damaged chakra system that was likely to never be fixed. The man wanted to be a role model for his son and even if the boy would not have the possibility to learn the sealing technique Mui used he could continue life with a good head on his shoulders.

That all changed when Muku disappeared one night when he was nine years old. Mui was distraught and had the facility turned upside down in search of the boy. They didn't find anything but a tattered piece of clothing in the lower levels.

Ever since, Mui has been harsh and distant. He had let Kiwako take up most of his prison responsibilities and he only handled the quarterly reports to the various shinobi villages as well as meeting the financial backers. He was in his office for most of the day and then he would disappear in the night with no one knowing where he went. Because of this, and because Kiwako could not be everywhere at once, this allowed corruption to sink their claws into the officers of the prison guard and abuse was commonplace among those that did not kneel to the guards' will.

Naruto added the last name of the corrupt officers and shut his notebook, taking care to not let the man notice them, and set the book aside. "I was not going to just let your facility staff and guards die in a surprise invasion from some mercenaries."

Naruto had collected the bodies of the Cult members and the survivors so as to send them back to Uzushio for interrogation. Moryo is in a sealed pot in his room which in turn was being watched by one or both of his two girls. He was not going to let someone get their hands on the Ancient Beast, especially one that is from another continent with power equal to a chakra user.

"I do have to ask, where were you during the attack?" Naruto tried to feign ignorant concern for the man as he asked the question. "I would think you would be injured if unable to join but it seems you are in perfect health."

"The explosion had caused a cave-in in a section of the facility under the wall where one of the breaches were," Mui answered smoothly but Naruto could feel his lie detector going off but decided to not say anything just yet. "I had heard you had taken some of the bodies and survivors."

"You heard right," Naruto nodded his head as he felt no need to lie about that.

"I would like to ask that you bring them back so I may have my staff interrogate them for information on the attackers."

Naruto shook his head. "I am sorry, Lord Warden, but you are not equipped to handle these attackers. The mercenaries I left for you to figure out yourself but the others are for my family to find out and handle."

Naruto could see the disapproval in the man's eyes and wanted to challenge his decision but he ended up nodding his head and bidding farewell before turning on the soles of his feet to exit the room. Naruto shook his head and continued penning his first report that will be copied and sent to the major village leaders. He will keep a paper trail in case anything happened and escalated that he would need to justify himself and his actions.

"Uzumaki-sama."

Naruto looked up to see Kiwako's assistant at the entrance of the room. "Yes?"

"You have a visitor," The young woman fidgeted in obvious discomfort of this apparent visitor.

"I'm free to see them," Naruto smiled brightly to ease the woman's nerves.

"Ah, oh, okay," the woman rushed away.

Naruto chuckled and cleaned up the report for a clear conclusion of current information before setting it aside in time for his visitor to arrive.

"Cosy prison we got here," Zoya said while giving the walls of the castle an appreciative glance.

"Zoya-chan!"

Naruto pushed out of his chair in surprise and got to his feet with wide eyes, gaining the tall woman's attention that shined with glee. She grinned and grabbed his arm so she could pull him into her bosom, his head just high enough to rest in the valley between her breasts, and she hugged him tightly. "I heard about the attack and decided to come see you."

"How did you-"

"You forget that I have people everywhere," Zoya gave a confident smirk and nuzzled her face into his head. "Oak Casket was looking into expanding into Rain territory but we have been having problems with the local populace and their local 'god'."

Naruto tilted his head at that and looked at the woman in interest. "A god?"

"And an angel, apparently," Zoya chuckled at the absurdity and shook her head before pulling the blonde into another embrace.

Naruto felt the woman rest her head on his and couldn't help the fond smile that made its way to his face as he rested his own on her chest. It's moments like these where he felt like he was more human than heavenly, even if he told himself that embracing his loves was more like heaven than any possible alternative. It's these moments that he can feel himself grounded in the moment rather than the possible futures that afflict him and his conscience.

"I remember when you told me that we would never be more than a fling," Naruto told the woman with a grin even as he felt her grip around him tighten. He glanced up at her neck to see her wearing a black studded collar.

"I guess it's as you said, I couldn't say no to your charm," Zoya gave a cocky smirk and kissed him. "Were you told what was gathered from interrogating those Cult survivors?"

"I was expecting a report soon," Naruto shook his head as he spoke and moved with Zoya to sit at the table. "Why, do you know what was said?"

Zoya sat in the chair next to her lover and pulled his seat closer to her. "I had been told by Abarai-san since I was leaving and he was one of the ones who were in the interrogation. Apparently, the Priestess had ordered the Cult to cause a few isolated instances within the Elemental Nations to gather intel on how and when the villages would react. However, the attack on this prison was solely to gain your attention."

"My attention? Why?"

"The Priestess did not say and the fanatics did not question," Zoya shook her head in amusement at stating that. "They gladly chose one of their own to have the World Beast sealed into them with a timed seal that would have collapsed and released it during the attack, at the cost of the jailor's life. From what I gathered, their will gave out before that happened and it inadvertently strengthened Moryo at the sacrifice and they failed to get within the prison entirely."

Naruto was silent as he thought about Zoya's words. This did not really make sense in his mind. Why did the Priestess want to get his attention, especially with the sacrifice of innocent lives? Why is she causing disorder between the two rivalling continents if she was going to risk losing her World Beast? He didn't have any answers and that frustrated him more.

He blinked owlishly when he felt his head gently pulled into the chest of his lover and she hummed a soft tune that lulled his senses. "Mm."

"You're safe and that's all that matters," Zoya told him softly but with a firm undertone. Her fingers slid through his hair and scratched his scalp in a spine-shivering way that had him melting further in her embrace.

Chunseong, Sky Territory, Uzushio

Chunseong is a new town being built by the civilians working under the Fourth Division, coincidentally where the hidden capital once stood. While once being technologically advanced for their time nearly one hundred years ago, they stood as one of the greatest outside threats to both sides of the Second Shinobi World War mostly because of their ability to dominate battlefields from the sky. Much like the Uzumaki in Uzushiogakure, the capital of Sky Country was destroyed by a large force but this time it was Konohagakure that had sent a sizable army to infiltrate the capital and destroy it from the inside.

The current overseer of Chunseong, and the subsequent territory that has been assimilated into the Uzushio borders, is currently run by Sosuke Aizen and his officers enforce Uzumaki laws throughout the rest of the territory. This is the current system until they put into place a loyal leader who will be utterly devoted to the Uzumaki Prince. While there have been little issues for a while considering the new education system rolled out to kids and young adults has allowed the Fourth Division to assimilate much of the former nation into proper patriotic citizens. The elderly were vocal but that was only a short while because of their children and grandchildren now being devoted believers in a holy being known as Prince-sama.

Aizen sighed as he condemned another group of prisoners that were caught spreading anti-Uzumaki rhetoric, writing out their execution for the weekend after they are given one last meal and preparations for burial. While he did not mind the paperwork, it did get tiring having to deal with the cases of people that did not see how great it is to live under Uzumaki rule. They brought hygiene, a proper water system, protection, and so much prosperity that they did not have prior to this. It was very draining seeing the selfishness of the ignorant people.

"Aizen-sama," Momo announced softly as she entered the room.

"Yes, Hinamori-san?"

"We have word from the capital," she said as she presented an unopened scroll with the seal still unviolated. "It concerns Prince-sama, according to the messenger."

Aizen's eyes snapped up at her with a cold stare that nearly frightened the girl before he extended his hand. "Let me see."

She nodded hastily and presented it to him, backing up to a reasonable distance once he had it in his hand.

Aizen tore off the seal and unrolled the scroll, his eyes quickly and steadily reading the message within. As he read, however, his eyes darkened and his usually calm demeanour became much more disturbed. What he read was a report on an attack on Prince Uzumaki's location at the Hozuki Castle prison that he was elected to inspect on behalf of the shinobi countries. The aggressors were mercenaries and Future Cult mages from Demon Country. According to the information given on what was interrogated in the village, they were working on the orders of the damnable Priestess Shion but the reason for their aggression was unknown as of the time the report is written.

However, the confirmation that it was a direct order from the Priestess of the foreign nation was condemnation enough. To Aizen, this was an act of war between Uzushio and Demon. They went directly after their ruling leader, a divine being that was easily the strongest person on Terra, and Aizen had no fear that his Prince was not in any true danger. But the fact that the Cult was willing to do something as direct as this boiled his blood and made him want to tear the scroll apart.

He will stay in control, however, and set the scroll down on his table. "Hinamori-san, please send out messages to the officers of the Division. I want them to report here for a meeting within the week, that's an order."

"Of course, Aizen-sama!" The young woman nodded her head and got to her feet to carry out her order without hesitation.

Once she left, Aizen's calm mask slipped and a dark sneer graced his face. That Priestess will pay for her transgressions! She will feel the wrath of the Fourth Division, the Prince's true devoted servants.

Hozuki Castle Prison, Nighttime

Naruto swirled around in the office swivel chair, keeping his eyes on the one chipped part of the room's ceiling. The girls slept on the bed together, this time now joined by Zoya who held each girl with each of her arms and lightly snored deep asleep. The Senju woman decided that she will sleep over and get a few rounds of sex with her lover before she left to check the Syndicate operations in Hotsprings.

The young man did not mind, finding things much more calm with more of his lovers around even if he was in a minor hostile area. He had no delusions that many of the people here were an enemy or a non-allied combatant. He was all he had to protect himself and the girls whenever these guards turned hostile, even the mystery that is the underground facility he has yet to investigate. Of course, one of his summons would be able to level the castle in case of an emergency if he did not want to get his hands dirtied but that was only if needed.

He swivelled in the chair another rotation before he felt a surprising amount of killing lust that no one among the guards or staff should be able to achieve. But it was the lust that really set whoever it was apart from the others as only a truly psychotic individual could release such an aura. Turning to the door, he stared at it for a long moment while listening for any sounds out of the ordinary before he stood up. "If you are trying to assassinate me or anyone else you need to learn to control yourself. The door is unlocked."

Naruto watched as it was silent for a few slow breaths. The knob slowly turned and the door opened to reveal two people in the hall. Familiar cloaks with clouds were worn. Akatsuki cloaks.

"What is the reason for the bounty hunters of Akatsuki coming to my room," Naruto stood from his chair and moved to stand in front of the bed that had his lovers. "Is the bounty on my head enough to finally warrant the attention of two S-rank rogue ninja?"

"Are we sure this is the bastard?" The white-haired man asked his companion with a smirk. "I thought the Prince was some behemoth of a god?"

"This is him," the masked man with a slashed Taki headband sighed. "There is no ignoring that he is the one with his power. Be careful this time, Hidan."

"Good," the one now named Hidan said. "The Uzumaki are famed to have sealed Jashin-sama away from her followers and I bet she will reward me as the follower who saved her from her imprisonment."

"Ah, I know of you both now." Naruto now understood what these two men are he must face. "Hidan, former shinobi of Yugakure and homicidal follower of the Jashin extremists. Rumoured to be unkillable. And you must be Kakuzu, one of very few S-rank shinobi of Takigakure who supposedly went rogue after being sentenced to death for failing to kill the Hokage. Because of the technique you stole when going rogue, you are considered immortal."

"I'm not rumoured to be unkillable," Hidan grinned maliciously. "I am immortal thanks to Jashin-sama's graces! And she will take me as one of her personal thralls once I kill you and free her from her prison!"

From the man's shouting, the three women were stirred from their rest and were now coming to consciousness. Naruto glanced behind him before turning back to the two bounty hunters. "Let's handle this somewhere more private, but let me ask what my bounty is now?"

"Four million," Kakuzu decided to answer before motioning with his hand to his partner. "This is a fine enough place for your death."

Naruto was already in motion, summoning the first soul he could grab under his control, and intercepted the Jashinist before he could enter the room. He used more of his divine power to send a powerful palm thrust into the man's chest, the impact throwing him out and through the wall of the corridor. He crouched low to avoid a black thread from piercing his chest, grabbing Kakuzu's leg before he could get away. Before the masked man could get out of the blonde's grip, he grunted as a tanto pierced his chest by a woman that was not there before and they could not sense until now.

Maya grinned as she heated her special sword with her family's famed Scorch chakra nature, intending to liquify the organs of whoever dared to attack her Prince-sama. She was the soul he had summoned and that was because she was always at the surface of his control, wanting to be free and serve her master to the best of her abilities. She will do anything he wants, even if she has to die all over again to accomplish it. But that isn't a fear she needs to stress over because once a soul falls under her master's control, it never leaves until he no longer has a use for them.

And she refuses to lose her use.

As she heated Kakuzu's insides, Naruto grabbed the man's neck just as he moved to attack the woman and he applied an immense amount of pressure that would have crushed a normal person's neck. But because of the forbidden Taki technique, the man was not normal and was able to withstand the pressure but that did not mean he did not feel the pain. He did, and it caused him to gurgle out a growl as he gripped the blonde's arm.

"I told you to move this fight elsewhere," Naruto told the man eerily quietly. "But your impatience means I have no desire to send you back to your god in one piece. Maybe a head will be enough of a warning."

Kakuza tried to snap the elbow of the arm that gripped his neck, even using his threads to pierce it repeatedly, but the arm never weakened or lessened it's pressure. If anything, it increased and he was momentarily stunned enough that it felt like he lost control of his body.

"One head," Naruto said as he gripped the man's dismembered head by his hair, turning to the hole Hidan crashed through. "One to go. Maya, leave nothing of the body, we have no further use for it."

"Yes, Prince-sama," the woman bowed with a grin and intensified the heat of her Scorch blade.

Soon enough, even the skin began to melt off the bone around her weapon but she did not stop until not even a piece of thread could be found. As was the command of her master, of course. But she did wonder, why did he not want to keep the body in case he wanted to collect the soul of this man as well? He was considered strong, S-rank obviously if he was part of the Akatsuki, so why not bind him to eternal servitude?

Naruto dropped the head on the ground before making his way to the hole, his eyes peering into the empty room for any sign of the Jashinist psycho. "Come out. Don't hide like a coward just because I gave you a love tap to the chest."

Naruto leaned back just in time to avoid the scythe slash aimed for his throat, but he did not have the time to dodge the kunai aimed for his stomach. He was able to grab the hand before it could plunge the weapon to the hilt, fighting the psychotic cultist back far enough to have time to breathe. He did not worry about the wound, knowing it was already healed by the time Hidan stood up with the same deranged grin on his face.

"Finally," the man breathed as he raised his hand to his face. "The blood of my Lady's enemy."

Naruto gave no reaction but his nostrils flared in disgust when the man gave a long lick over his blood-soaked hand. The Jashinist chuckled breathily as his skin turned black and skeletal markings began appearing over his body. The man seemed to be a mix of pain and pleasure but to Naruto's knowledge, that fit the niche of the extremists of the Jashinist cult.

At least the others are relatively normal for vampire worshippers.

"Now for me to give you the pain my Lady must feel jailed by your clan!"

Naruto watched as the man used his scythe to run the blade over his chest. He was confused for a second but after a moment he noticed a tingle over his chest, as if he was trying to be pained in the same way as the psycho. He raised an eyebrow and looked at Hidan. "Did you just try hurting me by injuring yourself?"

Hidan narrowed his eyes as he sneered at the blonde. "Did it not affect you? How can you be fine?!"

Naruto smirked at the man. "I am a higher being than whoever gives you power."

Naruto dashed forward and slammed his shoulder into the shocked bounty hunter, sending him crashing through the opposite wall and into the courtyard of the prison. He knew that if there were any guards left that the duo hadn't killed on the way in they would be on their way to their location now. He just hoped they wouldn't get in the way because he won't be pulling back his punches this time. Not with this type of enemy.

Naruto jumped through the broken wall and landed a few yards away from Hidan's body. The man no longer had the markings of his technique, having been knocked out of his ritual circle and losing the concentration needed to power the skill. However, he looked unharmed now, not even affected by the self-inflicted wound.

"You bastard," Hidan ground out angrily as he got from his knees to his feet. "Why won't you just die and free Jashin-sama!"

Naruto dodged the wild but precise slashes of the scythe, his eyes never leaving that of his opponent. He moved around the man, using his left to trip him mad he did so, before backing off a few paces. He wanted to see the limits of the man's immortality, and maybe glean into what demonic force is giving him power in Jashin's name.

"Stand! Still!" Hidan twirled around, arcing the pole of his weapon to aim the blades into his opponent's legs.

Missing by an inch, he followed up with a few more strikes but in his growing anger he was getting sloppier. He was still dangerous, perceiving any attacks the blonde sent at him with enough ease that nothing was a true danger to him, but he was no longer accurate in his attacks. His movements did not focus on allowing easy defence when needed and there were many openings that the blonde could capitalise on.

Naruto, for his part, mostly dodged the man's attempts to hit him and sent a few attacks to keep the man interested. He had long ago noticed the appearance of many guards and Makina, but they stayed back at the Assistant Warden's order which he appreciated. It seems that she knew of the invader and acknowledged their inability to provide equal support.

That was his thought, at least, until he heard the whisper of a thought in the wind. "If he is weakened, arrest him."

The voice of the Lord Warden. Mui was planning something behind his back but this didn't seem directed to Makina. No, this is someone else.

The underground facility.

Naruto agreed with the old fox's assessment, briefly glancing down at the ground as he grabbed Hidan's arm and pulled him over his shoulder and slammed into the ground. "I'm done. I'm going to break your body."

Naruto wrested the scythe from the man's hold and threw it onto the ground. He grabbed the man's neck and raised him into the air, his eyes turning back into their Divine appearance. "Up we go."

Naruto carried the weak man into the air, flying up as his body gained the holy outfit and scarlet crown; horns curving up from his hairline. Hidan looked at the man with fear, an emotion that was not thought to exist for him ever since devoting his life to Jashin. But he knew that's what he felt for this man- no, god before him.

"You're no man," he ground out weakly as the hand gripping his throat tightened.

Naruto chuckled as they stopped a hundred feet in the air. "I'm a Prince."

Underground Facility

*Rumble*

Tsunenaga looked up as the room shook violently. It seemed it was time to go now.

Just as he was going to leave his seat, his door opened to reveal En and Chan. "Is there something you need?"

*Rumble*

"We know you paid for the bounty hunters from Akatsuki to handle Naruto Uzumaki," En spoke first.

"Rinichirou-tousan is not happy with what you did." Chan continued for his sister. "Because of your actions, we are now about to be discovered by the Prince."

*Rumble*

"That was going to happen anyways," Tsunenaga told the twins with a placating smile. "I assumed that the famed Zombie Duo would be able to take care of our little nuisance. You know, if anyone could have-"

"Enough," Chan sighed and closed his eyes briefly.

*Rumble*

"Because of you, the Prince is knocking down our ceiling with one of your bounty hunters as the battering ram. Tousama is not forgiving your actions this time."

*Rumble*

Tsunenaga narrowed his eyes as his brow furrowed with a grimace, already having a feeling where this topic was going. "If you abandon me, nothing will stop me from spilling everything to anyone. I will reveal what you have going on down here, and I can only assume how the Prince will feel with one of his lovers being the fixation of your tousama."

It is silent as the twins stared back at the man with calm gazes, almost looking unsurprised by the vague threat given by the man. They would have killed the man for his aggression and to prevent their father's plans from being found out but they held themselves back. They were ordered to handle him in a way that he would be the sole one blamed for the facility and give them time to disappear.

"That's unfortunate," En said softly before looking at her brother. "We do not have much time. Tousama should have gotten Shiro-chan by now."

*Rumble*

Chan hummed with a slight nod of his head. "Right. Let's get this over with."

Tsunenaga swallowed thickly as the twins began approaching him.

*Ka-boom*

Dirt and rubble shattered the hallway right outside Tsunenaga's door, causing the three to cover their eyes and flinch away from the impact.

"Code black. Code black. A breach has damaged infrastructure on Level One. All security must report to that area and staff must enter lockdown."

"Stop… you crazy… bastard!"

"I doubt you learned your lesson. But I guess since you served your use and got me into this facility, I will send your head to your god with your partner."

All three looked at the origin of the voice and could only watch as the grey-haired man was dropped to the ground by the main source of their worries. The divine man with a crimson crown unveiled a wicked nodachi before swiftly cutting at the neck of the bounty hunter.

Tsunenaga watched in increasing worry as, unlike other times the man was claimed to have beheaded but continued to talk, there was a gasp from Hidan. Then nothing. Someone unable to be killed by so many others had been done so easily.

"Do you see now why we wanted to leave him alone," Chan told the man without looking away from Naruto.

"I-I see now."

Naruto paused as he looked at the three individuals still in the room. Two looked related on account to their similar appearances, but the final man looked like one of those accountant types from Konoha's Shinobi Bank. Granted, not with the added danger of retired shinobi but the appearance was there.

He looked up and noted that he could barely see the surface through the hole anymore. "I've finally made it to the mysterious facility."

After his musings, he now turned to the three with his sword relaxed at his side. "I'm assuming you are organisers for whatever facility this is. My name is Prince Naruto Uzumaki, and by the authority granted by the major Shinobi Nations I will have you under arrest."

Seven clones poofed into existence when he finished speaking, each as serious as the original.

"I guess we won't be making it to tousama," En scoffed lightly to her brother.

Two clones grabbed each of the three and branded them with the Uzumaki Mark seal in case they escaped or struggled, but none of them attempted the latter. They knew when they were beaten and none of them could hope to get away from the Prince now that he had them. They will just have to hope their chance comes when the security comes to fight the blonde.

Naruto decided to let his clones take the three through the large hole back to the surface where they can be apprehended by his girls. If he was right about his feeling, and he usually is with gut feelings, then he was sure Mui was part of this facility or at least knew of it and that meant that this may tie into his investigation. He began walking forward with his remaining clone just as he saw a large force of unknown soldiers making their way over to him.

"Thin their numbers," Naruto told his clone without breaking stride.

The clone dashed forward, meeting the oncoming soldiers in a spray of blood as he cut down the first dozen men within seconds with his copied nodachi. That's when the soldiers began realising their danger but they were still not prepared for the savage attacks of the clone. One soldier found the sword bisecting his arm holding a static sword just as he raised it to defend himself, while another soldier found her chest headbutted and armour punctured by the curved horns. She was tossed aside just as the first guy was finished with a slice to his neck.

Clone Naruto ducked under an attack from a few soldiers, pivoting on his heel and waving his nodachi around in an ominous blur. As he landed back on his feet, the surrounding soldiers crumbled apart as if they were diced vegetables. Blood is now pooling on the clean floors and the walls are displaying gory sprays of scarlet, and it had already been a little under ten seconds.

The clone stood upright, noticing that the soldiers were no longer charging at him, and he looked up to see the white uniformed individuals just standing off a few dozen feet away. There were not as many before, only ten of the thirty are left standing, so he could understand why they stopped but if they werent going to attack… why are they not retreating?

"Power cord."

Hozuki Castle will be finished by the next chapter once we fight out this underground facility and deal with Mui and we will be moving on to more ideas. We will be moving on to a movie arc with a brief confrontation with Ame's god, no stupid solo missions by Sannin included. Afterward, we are moving on to Gaal.

PraetorXyn: A bunch of things because there is no rest for Naruto.

Primarx: It's coming and going. Most of it comes when I'm suffering from my insomnia and can't sleep.

WindyCitySlayer1: Thank you for reading and liking the chapter :)

WhateverPlus: Thank you :D

DainBramagedMoFo:

1) Canon events are mostly used for the readers to follow along the timeline but most of the time we are now far away from any sort of canon. Usually, I use Chunin Exams as the catalyst for more events and original ideas.

2) I had always liked Ayame and Teuchi Ichiraku and I have a headcanon that Teuchi was a former shinobi and was a close acquaintance to Minato and Kushina so that is why he is always welcoming to Naruto. Idk if Ayame will be part of the harem, it's not likely, but just know she got a place in my heart.

3) It is never stated in canon to my knowledge why Sarutobi smoke but I believe it is because they are traditionally fire users and the burn of smoking keeps them adapted to the specific heat that they use. My example is the way Asuma uses the Combustion Ash Technique, which is not really seen by any others so I assume it's a Sarutobi specialty.

4) Not everyone likes genderbent characters and I understand that. I personally have read good fanfics of female Haku, Itachi, Madara, etc and that's why I don't mind doing it.

5) Some Uzushio architecture might be painted, mostly the homes and communal buildings but they are a mix so I was more describing the material and general idea of how the buildings would look.

iamshinydragonmist: That may be sooner than you think since Naruto has found the Deadmen facility.

Guest: Ah, yes, Karin. I wanted to give her some more time and background so to find out what her ties to the Deadmen facility and Kusa are will be fun. I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Subhogue: I'm glad you like the story so far I hope the story doesn't disappoint as it progresses :)

TigrezzTail: Yeah for the most part Jiraiya had deserved more than just a slap on the wrist but I feel like he'd be too stubborn to accept that he was wrong - even if his duties as spymaster had him away for long periods of time. If he was more responsible to understand that he was wrong for just leaving Naruto alone then things would be better but sadly that won't happen for a long while.
