Small note for the readers.

Deadking: You're funny.

AscendedHumanity: you're funny too.

The future will tell if your predictions were right or wrong.

Professor Xavier was feeling better about the future. Not good but better.

Ever since this reality altering game came out, people were getting more open minded about special people. His kind, the mutant kind that is, still could not actually come out in the open but soon, they would. The Spanish girl story gave him hope.

Children in his school were smiling more and some could pass their powers as those gained in the game. Not all, but some.

He also investigated the creator. Funnily, the man was a mutant that did not believe in anything said on the news or forums about his game. He was so invested in it, he dismissed everything else and just lived his life as usual, developing, planning for his game.

It was somehow ridiculous how a man just living his life did more for the mutant's cause than he ever could while actually trying. The man was just here and somehow everything around him was in motion.

Xavier was still hesitant about the whole blessing thing as well as the voice heard by those weakened by their constant hunting but for now he would try to keep an open mind and support the game on the sideline. The risks and benefits were in their favor for now.

Also, he knew as a fact that his students played the game. As wells as some professors. Even Logan played it. Ever since he started, because he promised a child to try it and he would kill anyone that said he had a weakness to innocent children, he kept playing it. The famous change did not do much for him but for some reasons, even Xavier could not explain, killing the monsters in the game made him feel less angry.

Some of the effects of the game were getting discovered even until now and few dared to say they knew everything about it. The community had yet to reach the river surrounding the city in the game. According to Logan, it was not impossible but it would need a big group of veteran players as well as a lot of time. For now, not enough people were ready and good enough to try it.

His whole life he observed. His solemn duty. He made sure everything was as it should be and reported if not.

Be it wars or peaceful feast, he observed.

He observed, he saw, he learnt and now, now he was concerned.

A realm was attracting the attention of dangerous beings. Creatures best left alone, beasts powerful enough to make most kingdoms and empire pause in their plans if they were involved. Armies were meaningless, only power could bring them to reason.

What gave him pause was what he could feel from them. It was not hate, hunger or rage. No it was amusement. Even the most hateful one was amused by what was happening. They were sufficiently amused to not bring their full might against them.

He would keep his eyes on the situation, it was his duty, and wait. The realm was changing, its occupant evolving and maybe, in a few centuries if nothing changed too much, they would be ready to present themselves to the others.
