The Inhumans always observed humanity.

They had the advantage of technology for now but every day, humanity created genius that reduced the gap between them. The stark family for example was dangerous. While they were mostly working on weapons, the Inhumans scientists feared what they could do if their eyes turned to the sky.

Aside from the genius, there was also the mutant problem. Their cousins were getting more and more power while the Inhumans were stagnating. A majority of the people wanted to stop the eugenic program as earth's mutants situation proved it wasn't worth it, and change a lot of laws while at it, but majority of the strongest did not agree.

The king did not know what to do with this situation and before he could make a choice, his people revolted.

The worker class alongside a good part of the warrior class assaulted the laboratories and noble's houses. That should not have been a problem but a lot of them had powers never seen before or they simply did not have to start with. The others were physically stronger than they should be.

As the king, he knew he had to intervene yet Medusa, his wife, convinced him to let them be. She agreed with them and knew he also wished for those change to happen. While it was bloody, it NEEDED to happen sooner or later.

A few days later, the revolutionaries came to pledge themselves to him and his family. He was known as a good ruler and the strongest inhuman after all. Add to that his tacit agreement to the revolt and most of the people felt gratitude for him.

A few hours after the pledge, and to the king's surprise, the revolutionary started the construction of a shrine. In itself a shrine was not a problem but … the divinities they began to sculpt were plain strange. One looked like a giant humanoid monster while the other was more like some kind of wolf being. They also had untouched rocks they did not sculpt for some reasons.

When asked about it, they revealed the source of their newfound powers… a game. A game, made on earth, had changed their society.

More than that, where science failed to bring them further in their evolution, a game did. From what Queen medusa found out, the game somehow bent reality to affect those playing it and link them to the universe inside. The divinities blessing worked the same way, as the players finished the quest, an astral link was opened between them and the god, granting them an access to said god ability.

Apparently, the game was discovered by a worker with a weird fascination with earth video game culture. He managed to establish a working link with earth internet and found the game month ago. He then played it and, discovering the effects, spread it to others with the same mind concerning the scientists and nobility.

Everything happened because one Inhuman was too curious
