Warren Worthington always felt lost. He was… different. Born with pure white wings, his cursed blessing.

His mother saw this as a sign from god, a blessing from the one above all. She did not treat him badly yet he felt more like an idol than a son when it came to their relationship. She made sure his isolation was comfortable but no matter what she did, he could only feel like a caged bird, the irony was not lost on him.

Speaking of isolation and cage, he had his father to thank for that. While things were distant with his mother, they still had some kind of bond. For his father? Nothing. The few time he saw him was when scientist would come to try and cure him. A curse his father once said. After all, if he was not entirely human: he was a monster.

Growing up with this feeling of loneliness, of being abnormal, did not help him. He closed himself to others. His only escape was a game that changed fate. He read about it on a forum, a game that gifted powers and meaning to those worthy of it. At first he played it to see if it was real and, as it was, he became obsessed with it.

Until now, he was still undecided about which quest he would take. Most of the power he could gain, the legion he could join, were interesting but something inside him told him to wait and so he did.

Finally, His instinct screamed at him when the latest update came up. It introduced two new patrons: Satan and Michael. An angel and a demon.

For the first time in his life, he felt like the stars were shining on him and started the quest line for Michael. No one managed to finish it yet but he felt like it would be worth it.

After days and days of playing nonstop, he managed to finish the quest line and succeed! He was the first and as soon as he did an announcement was made on the game. It was not the end of it however as the Legions leaders sent him messages of congratulations and welcomed him into their ranks as the master of the blessed legion.

He felt like he was floating on a cloud when he finally comprehended what he had accomplished and, as if it was not enough, he suddenly felt something inside him, a warmth inside his chest. It was like behind hugged with so much love and acceptance, like he never ever was in his life, he ended up crying.

He embraced the feeling and as soon as he did, it exploded around him. A blinding light that transformed in an armour that was comfortably fitting him, a sword so light he felt like it was an hallucination and a shield humming power, he KNEW it would stop anything that would hit it.

Opening his wings, and for the first time in his life, He flew outside and reached to the sky. Laughing and crying as the warmth never left him.

Love the creator, for he is your salvation

Obey his word, for he will lead you into the light

Head his wisdom, for he will protect you from evil

Whisper his prayer with devotion, for he will protect your soul

Honour his servants, for they accomplish his will

Smile before him, For he bath us all in his benevolence
