Today, at the school where our superheroes studied, there would be elections to elect a new school president and Miss Bustier, she was ready to announce the start of the election.
"Students, please pay attention." Miss Bustier said, and all the students watched her. "As you all know, elections will be held to find a new class president, and each of you has the right to run and vote for him."
"I will run for president again, Miss Bustier." said Marinette.
"I will also run and, unlike last time, I will win." Chloe said in an arrogant voice.
"I will also run. After all, my mother is a diplomat and I have an idea of such things." Said Lila, who lied halfway. Her mother is indeed a diplomat, but she had no idea what was going on.
She just wanted to find a place to show how important she was and get others to work for her. Lila knew perfectly well that most students were stupid and believed everything she told them. She wanted to humiliate Marinette in front of the whole school, and she was willing to do anything to do it.
Chloe also had a motive to run for president. She also wanted to show Marinette that they couldn't humiliate her like they did last time, but unlike Lila, she didn't want to hurt Marinette so much, and to some extent she could have emotions and guilt, but they were extremely rare.
"It's going to be a great show to watch." Victoria said.
Victoria was a ghost who showed up at school a few days ago. Zack stood next to her at the end of the line. He had become something of a psychologist and decided to help the ghost. Miss Bustier knew of Zack's intention to help Victoria with her way to redemption, as she called it, and she was very pleased to see one of their students help someone. Although she still felt somewhat worried about the situation, she kept telling herself that there were worse things than that, and so far nothing bad had happened to her students.
"Oh, the paranormal ghost called again. Why don't you just come back from the crypt it came out of." Chloe said mockingly.
Victoria looked at Chloe with her incredibly piercing eyes that seemed to sink into your soul. The smile on Chloe's face quickly faded and she was replaced by fear and discomfort. She quickly shifted her gaze to the ground to escape Victoria's dreadful gaze, which made her feel unwell.
"Chloe, don't make fun of people like that. I'm sorry about that, Victoria, please forgive us." Miss Bustier said sternly to Chloe, and in Victoria's slightly anxious voice.
"You have nothing to worry about and to apologize to, Miss Bustier." Zack said without worrying about a ghost standing next to him. "Victoria doesn't attack people and the worst thing she can do to you is wrap her chains around you. These chains can cause a lot of suffering, but only to those who have done bad things, but I'm not worried because I only have a few harmless sins and therefore the chains will not harm me. But for the rest, be careful because there are at least five people in this class who will be able to feel the weight of the chains. "
The whole class felt as if a cold wind had blown through them, and their skin trembled at what Zack had said. The students were indeed somewhat accustomed to the spirit, but they did not yet know what to expect, for she simply stood there and watched them with those ghostly blue eyes. Even Lila, who often lied and was very self-confident, was worried about the spirit. She could easily have lied that she could defeat the spirit or capture it, but she didn't want to take any chances, so she kept quiet and stood aside, something she never did.
"Good students, after we have clarified everything, I wish you a pleasant day and the lessons are over for today. I hope you will be able to find a new school president." Mrs. Bustier said with a warm smile to everyone.
The school bell rang and ended school-wide classes. All the students left or stayed for extra classes, but Zack stayed in the room to talk to Victoria.
"So what do you think about this election going?" Victoria asked.
"I don't know for sure. In my country, the election is going in a very strange way. I don't know if it will be like this, but as I look at the people and what I learned about them in my brief visit here, I think it will be roughly what I saw in my country." Zack answered.
"How exactly are the elections in your country different from here?" Victoria asked curiously.
"Elections are usually held in this way. Candidates are divided into three types. There is one that offers you bribes, in some cases small, in other cases large, depending on the person. Most often they bribe us with food. The other kind of "promising" is that he keeps making promises that are so unrealistic, but some people still believe that he will keep the promises he made. But of course with this we are often left with nothing, so it is best to take bribes, because even if he wins or not, we at least have something visible and usable, instead of just vain promises. " Zack said, finishing his explanation.
"It's really interesting, but wait." Victoria said, resting her hand on her chin to think. "You said that there are three types of candidates, but from what I heard, only two types of elections. What is the third type of candidate?"
Zack's face took on a confused, or rather expressionless, face that was very difficult to match. "Look at Victoria, the third best candidate and yet he doesn't always win."
"Come on, tell me, I can't wait to hear it." Victoria said impatiently.
"Oh, I'll tell you." Zack said, taking a deep breath. "The third candidate is the "honest" he tries to help everyone, but does not make vain promises and does not set impossible goals and he does not bribe people. He often compromises with himself to be able to help others and even when not he can find an alternative that will be able to compensate for people's demands, so I don't believe that such a person will ever be able to win, or he can, I don't know, I only know that my vote will not change anything and it will hardly matter."
"I think I understand you. When I was alive, I often bribed big people to help me or close them eyes when I did something. I bribed politicians, bankers and influential people so that I could continue my business without any competition." Victoria answered.
Victoria and Zack kept talking, but finally Zack noticed it was time to leave. He picked up his backpack and walked to the door, but before he could open it, he turned to Victoria to ask her something.
"Victoria, can I ask you something, but don't be offended by my question."
"Of course, I'll answer you, there's nothing to be offended about in this state I'm in." Victoria sighed. "The least I can do is get angry about a question."
"Do you think money can buy you real respect and loyalty from others," Zack said.
Victoria looked at him and said without even thinking. "No, I can't buy your money. What you can buy is only temporary trust, which in the end turns out not to even make you feel good and you realize that others are around you just for your money, and not for any other reason. "
Zack smiled at the answer Victoria gave. "Goodbye Victoria, we'll talk again tomorrow and I promise you, as a true friend, that I will help you find peace." Zack said and left the classroom.
Marinette was in the park with her friend Alya and they were talking about the election. Marinette was very worried about that. In the previous election, she only had to deal with Chloe, and everyone knew that Chloe was a nasty person, and nothing good would happen if she was elected class president. But now the situation was different. Lila is an incredible liar and can manipulate people well. Marinette didn't know what would happen if Lila won, the thought scared her, so she had to do her best to beat her this time.
"Alya, I just don't know what to do?" Marinette said in her usual dramatic voice.
"Don't worry, Marinette, everything will be fine." Alya said in an attempt to reassure his girlfriend. "Everything will be as it will be before you will succeed and you will win despite the chances."
"Yes, but last time I didn't have such a big liar and the whole class believed in him." Marinette explained.
"I know the situation is more labor-intensive than the last time." Alya agreed with what Marinette had said. "But if you give up, things will be bad for everyone and you are our only hope that things will go smoothly and correctly and not be destroyed. Marinette, you are one of the bravest girls I have ever seen, you are smart, kind, kind with everyone and you have amazing fashion design skills."
"Thank you Alya for your kind words. You always make me feel good even in the worst situations." Marinette said and hugged her friend.
"You don't have to thank me, that's why my friends help each other." Said Alya. "Since I am your friend, will you arrange an interview with the White Owl or Madame Butterfly?
"No." Marinette said with a slight smile on her face.
"I had to try again." Said Alya with false disappointment.
It's Friday and our heroes were on patrol, but this was not an unusual patrol as it was before. They would test their new hiding place for the first time, and Madame Butterfly and the White Owl would teach the Ladybug and the Black Cat how to train to use their miracle workers properly. The characters were very excited about what was about to happen. Of course, their reactions were not just excitement, there were many other emotions they were experiencing.
Marinette felt strange and tense about training for her miraculous. Something she had never done right and never thought of doing, but she was glad she could finally have a serious and detailed conversation with the white owl. She knew he was as strong as she was, but now he had a second miraculous, and it seemed that this miraculous was also very strong.
Zack was pleased that there was finally a place where he could train and fully test the pigeon's miraculous, but he was still somewhat worried about Madame Butterfly. He didn't know how she would react when he found out there were two other characters next to them, of course he knew she wouldn't go that far, but he was never sure. As he realized, human behavior may be unpredictable, but he still hoped for the best for everyone. He was also happy that he would finally be able to talk to someone who saw the work of a hero as a serious activity rather than a game. Zack knew he had a lot to talk to the Ladybug about.
Adrian was also pleased that there would be a secret hiding place. He had often wanted this before, but his lady kept telling him it was impossible, but now it was a reality and he wondered how the white owl had convinced her. Adrian felt as if he were going with friends, even though they would be with their heroic identity, but that still didn't overshadow his joyous radiance, which was evident. He knew that he would train there with his milady and talk to her and, of course, to the other heroes, but that didn't bother him at all.
Scarlett was as happy as Adrian even more than he was because they finally had a secret place. She knew things would be even better as they were in London, because now they were hiding in the most romantic city in the world, Paris. She knew that this place could help her and make the white owl fall in love with her, even though the chances were slim, she kept believing. Scarlett was also pleased that she could at least see him more often now than just seeing him in battle. She would be able to talk to him and, of course, discuss her interests, but of course, as always, she would share common topics so that she could not find out who he was behind this mask and keep her identity a secret from her. The other thing that wasn't so bad, but not so good, was that there would be two new characters in their hiding place, she knew she couldn't just ignore the ladybug and the black cat. So I decided to give them a chance, and who knows, they might decide to help her win the heart of her favorite owl.
"Tiki, I have to go. What do you want to tell me that is so important?" Marinette asked her kwami, because before she could say the words she would use to transform, her kwami stopped her.
"Marinette, I want to tell you something important before you go. Something about the white owl. I can't understand. I have a strange feeling I've seen it before." Tiki said
"How so." Ask Marinette curiously.
"Marinette, when I saw him before I didn't know who he was because I had never seen him, but when they got the miracle pigeon and now with its double combination I have this strange feeling that I've seen it before. But I can't be absolutely sure because we we don't remember much from our previous owners. " Tiki replied.
"Don't worry, Tiki. I'll be careful and talk to the white owl, and I'm sure he's on our side." Marinette said to calm his clutches.
The ladybug, Madame Butterfly, and the black cat were at the door that would lead them to their secret hiding place, but an white owl was nowhere to be seen.
"Madame Butterfly, have you seen the white owl." The Ladybug asked.
"No, ladybug, I haven't seen him, but I'm sure he'll come. I'm sure of that." Madame Butterfly replied with hope in her voice, because she did not know if it would come.
When I opened the door, they saw something that surprised them. There stood the white owl waiting for them.
"Hello people." The white owl replied in a gallant voice.
How did you get here before us, we didn't see you. "The Black Cat asked confused.
"I used my power to teleport here." Explain the white owl. "But now let's start training."
The White Owl surprised everyone by throwing a few cards at them. Madame Butterfly and the black cat could not react quickly enough and the cards hit them and knocked them to the floor, only the ladybug managed to turn his yo-yo and defend himself from the card.
"What are you doing?" The ladybug shouted in panic.
"I am sorry about that." The White Owl replied and tried to calm the ladybug by explaining what he intended. "I wanted to see how well you handle a situation like this where you think there's no threat to see how quickly you can react. It looks like the Ladybug can react much faster to an immediate threat."
"Yes, Ladybug." Madame Butterfly confirmed the white owl's words as she stood up. "We've done a lot of tests like that to see which of us will be more distracted and less alert. Looks like I didn't pass the test this time."
"Don't take it personally, Madame Butterfly and you black cat." the white owl helped the black cat and Madame Butterfly to their feet. "I hope you haven't been in much pain."
The ladybug was watching him and you still don't know what to do. She felt she could trust him, but she felt something strange about his actions. She knew he didn't mean to hurt them, but she didn't know what he wanted to do.
The night passed quickly and our heroes finished training. The ladybug had to admit that it was very useful. Although she had never felt so confident in repeating several moves and attacks in the air. At the same time, she was able to talk to the white owl and was very glad that they had very similar interests, although this was limited to their heroic side. She was finally glad to find someone who saw the defeat of the Akumi as a serious activity rather than a child's play.
Madame Butterfly also had to admit that she got along very well with the two new heroes, but especially with the black cat. She realized that he was in love with his partner, and like her, their feelings were not mutual. They both talked about what they love about their partner and how he feels so strong and confident when they are around. The conversation with him went well until the Black Cat asked a question that put her in an awkward situation.
"Madame Butterfly, I always want to ask you one thing." Said the black cat
"Of course what you want to ask." Madame Butterfly said.
"Why don't you use your strength in battle. I don't even know what they are." The Black Cat asked.
Butterfly's face grew sad and his head bowed. "Black Cat, I don't want to say why I don't want to use my powers. It's just that this story is very sensitive."
"No need to worry." Said the black cat with a smile. "If you don't want to say OK, I won't force you."
The white owl said it was time to leave because the sun would soon rise and we had to return to our civilian life. The heroes said goodbye to each other and promised to meet again the next time, so they went back to their homes.
After their patrol was over, the weekend passed very quickly. Zack stayed home and helped the new kwami get used to some things. He also stopped by school to see what Victoria was doing and to talk to her. Zack knew that Victoria could travel anywhere because she once asked her if she could leave school, and she showed him that she could do it without a problem, but she started standing there. Marinette and Alya prepared for the election and promised as many students as possible to vote for them.
Adrian's program was as full as ever, and he didn't have much time to meet his friends except for a video chat or a phone call. Scarlett was often left alone and nothing happened, so Ruda told her to find a job, and she did. She often played the violin and did great, hoping that one day the white owl would appreciate it. She often showed how she played to her friend Zack, who on the other hand said she played great, although she wasn't sure if he was telling the truth or just being sarcastic.
The hours passed and by the last hour it would be clear who the new class president would be. Marinette was very nervous about what was going to happen, she hoped that her students had listened to their minds and had not chosen Lily, because she thought that if she did not win, the important thing was that Lila would not win. Although it was hard to admit, she preferred Chloe more.
"Okay kids, you all voted for a new school president and now we'll see who wins." Mrs. Bustier said, but as she believed the results, her eyes widened in surprise. "I think we have a tie."
"What, between whom." Marinette, Chloe, and Lila asked at the same time.
Mrs. Bustier looked up from the results to look at her students. "The three candidates have an equal number of results, but wait." She answered and confided something interesting. "It turns out that one student did not vote and his vote can tip the scales for one of them to win."
"Who is he?" The students asked at the same time.
"The student who didn't vote is Zack." Mrs. Bustier said in a calm voice. "Zack, you have to decide who wins the election."
All the students looked at Zack, and he felt the weight fall on him. He was angry that he was at the back and could not escape because he would be caught. Then he looked at Victoria and said in a loud voice.
"Victoria shackles everyone."
Veronica just smiled broadly and the chains began to bind everyone and cause pain and discomfort to those who have done bad things and also surprised those who have not done bad things. Zack takes advantage of the situation to escape. After a few minutes, Veronica released her voice from her chains because she was getting bored and decided to see what they would do.
"Miss Bustier, what are we going to do now?" Alya asked with a shocked expression.
Mrs. Bustier didn't know what to do. She didn't expect Zack to run out of the room because she decided to do her best.
"Students, because everyone must have voted for it, and Zack, who escaped, didn't vote. You have to find him and get him to vote for one of the candidates." Miss Bustier said, and the bell rang. "I hope you succeed and tell me who chose."
"Okay, let's get him." Lily said, and almost everyone went looking for Zack.
Zack was in a hurry to get away from school as quickly as possible. He didn't know it was going to happen, so he had to find a place to hide, but he had to get to his room first, and quickly. Zack decided to use the dove's miraculous and quickly found a hiding place to transform. He uttered the words focus mocus and created a portal that took him to his room where he returned to his civilian version.
"Zack, what's going on?" Halub asked because he had never seen his owner in such a state before.
"Halub, things got out of hand." Zack said, rummaging through his closet. "That's why I have to hide."
"So because you didn't vote, you'll hide in your room." Labag asked.
"Yes and no. Yes, because I did not vote I will hide. No, I will not hide in my room, because this will be the first place where they will look for me." Zack said after picking up an old coat, hat, and fake beard. "I knew we'd need these one day."
Zack wasn't the only one who had a bad day, in another part of town there was a man whose day didn't start very well, but the worst thing was that he learned that his bees would be taken soon and he had no idea what to do.
Then a black butterfly landed on the smoke machine he used to calm the bees, then he transformed and wore a beekeeping suit that had holes for bees to come out of. He began to create chaos and panic among the citizens of Paris and sought out the Ladybug and the Black Cat to take their miracle workers.
Marinette Adrian and Scarlett immediately noticed that the akuma was attacking them and hurried to hide so that they could transform. Zack, on the other hand, who was still disguised so that his classmates could not recognize him, but he received a message saying that the akuma was attacking them. He knew he needed to transform and help his partners no matter what bad situation he was in.
Madame Butterfly, the Ladybug and the Black Cat were able to arrive quickly and evacuate the citizens to a safe distance.
"Ladybug, black cat, give me your miracle workers." said Akuma.
"This will not happen." The Ladybug replied in a firm tone.
Then bees began to come out of the akuma's body and attack them. They tried to defend themselves, but there were too many.
"Madame butterfly, because you don't talk to your cousins. Convince them not to attack us." The Black Cat said with a smile.
"Cat, stop these jokes and take the situation seriously." Madame Butterfly said as she tried to protect herself from the bees that kept coming.
Then the two cards flew from the sky and managed to scatter the bees. Everyone looked up to see the white owl landing on the ground. His face looked irritated and somewhat angry.
"Listen to me now, sir. My civilian version had a very unpleasant situation in which he doesn't know what to do, and all he needs is some akuma to create more problems for him." The White Owl said with a little anger, but he kept his gentlemanly approach.
"You realize you're talking about yourself as a third person." Said the black cat, a little confused.
"Yes, that's true and somewhat strange, but I've known him long enough to say it's perfectly normal for him. He often talks about his civilian version in the third person." Madame Butterfly explained to the black cat.
"Okay, let's act." Said the White Owl.
He took his cylinder and said "abra catabra" then took out a bouquet of flowers from his hat, which was somewhat surprising, then the ladybug summoned his "lucky charm" and bathroom curtains appeared.
"What do I do with it?" The Ladybug and the White Owl said at the same time.
They quickly inspected their objects to see what they could do for them. The white owl saw that the bouquet was glowing, then noticed that the bees and the curtains were glowing as well. Ladybug also saw what the white owl saw. Then they both looked at each other and nodded as if they knew what the other meant. The ladybug handed the curtains to the white owl, and the white owl gave the ladybug the flowers.
"Madame Butterfly, let's fly together." The white owl said, passing one end of the curtain.
They flew together and the curtain opened. Ladybug threw the bouquet and the bees followed him to the open curtain, then Madame butterfly and the white owl quickly managed to trap the bees by wrapping them in the curtain and now the bees could not escape. The black cat began to fight with the beekeeper and with a well-considered blow he managed to make him drop the smoke machine where the akuma was hidden. Then he used his cataclysm to destroy the smoke machine and the dark blue butterfly came out of it.
The ladybug cleaned the butterfly and then summoned the "miracle ladybug" to repair the damage. While the characters were talking to the man who was under the influence of the akuma, the white owl wondered what to do, but when he heard the story of this man. He realized he needed to do something instead of running away from his problems. Whether because of his suit or something, but he now thinks far more sensibly.
Zack returned to school and found Miss Bustier's teacher in the teacher's room, and he said he was ready to vote.
"Okay, who will you elect as the new class president?" Mrs. Bustier asked, and the other students were out of the room listening to Zack's decision.
"I am voting for Marinette." Zack said confidently and clearly.
"What." Lila and Chloe said at the same time.
"I know what you all think. Marinette is not the best, she has many shortcomings, she constantly stutters, stumbles and is poorly coordinated. But she still tries to be kind and honest. She has not bribed anyone with sweets and clothes which she can do. Unlike some others who bribe us with money, autographs or meetings with celebrities. " Zack said it that way, and everyone was out of breath. They began to applaud and greeted Marinette as the new school president.
Chloe and Lila stood numb from what they heard and saw.
