Third Systems Army Troop Composition and Equipment Listing

Arranged by: Azure, Garreth [Field Marshal]

Signed and Approved by: Chancellor Bail Organa

Ships:

Venator II-Class Star Destroyer

Crew: 11,000 souls (Bridge crew, engineers, technicians, pilots, and 5th Fleet marines)

Passengers: 4,000 clone troopers (varying battalions)

Airwing Compliment: 72 ARC-170s, 210 V-Wing class interceptors, 50 BTL-B Y-Wing Bombers, 78 Clone Z-95 Headhunters, and 64 LAAT (infantry and carrier variants)

Armored Units: 36 AT-TE Walkers, 10 HAVwA6 Juggernauts, and 10 Self Propelled Heavy Artillery

Armaments: 10 DBY-827 heavy turbolaser cannons, 6 medium dual turbolaser cannons, 123 point defense laser cannons, 6 heavy proton torpedo tubes (20 torpedoes each), 8 deck guns, and SPHA Turbolasers (located in the ventral hangar)

Description: Following the end of the Clone Wars, the Republic Navy expressed the limited capabilities of the old Venator-class Star Destroyers. What was proposed was a slightly larger ship called the Venator II-Class Star Destroyers. Larger and better armed than its predecessor, the Venator II was a strong balance between a carrier and a battleship with an increased fighter compliment and more capable weapon systems, this ship was a force to be reckoned with. The class would enter service at a slow pace with older Venators being refitted at Kuat Drive Yards. Eventually, the entire Venator fleet would be replaced by these improved battle carriers.

Ships in the Third Systems Army (Garreth's Expeditionary Fleet):

-RSD Independence (Flagship)

-RSD Pioneer

-RSD Steadfast

Acclamator-class Assault Ship

Crew: 700 souls (Bridge crew, engineers, technicians, pilots, and 5th Fleet marines)

Passengers: 16,000 clone troopers (varying battalions)

Airwing Compliment: 80 LAAT (infantry and carrier variants)

Armored Units: 48 AT-TE Walkers, 5 HAVwA6 Juggernauts, and 24 Self Propelled Heavy Artillery

Armaments: 12 quad turbolaser turrets, 24 point defense laser cannons, and 4 heavy proton torpedo tubes (120 torpedoes in total)

Description: While it saw limited use during the closing stages of the war, the Acclamator was still a useful ship, being able to transport troops and equipment in record time. Due to this, the Acclamator class would still see use during expeditionary missions, transport missions, or in some cases, be used to deploy specialized units in missions which required a lower profile (a job that the Venator II could not perform without detection).

Ships in the Third Systems Army (Garreth's Expeditionary Fleet):

-RAS Deliverance

-RAS Holdfast

-RAS Porter

-RAS Council

-RAS Beacon

Arquitens-class Command Cruiser (Class 546)

Crew: 550 souls (Bridge crew, engineers, technicians, pilots, and 5th fleet marines)

Passengers: 100 clone troopers (501st 78th Company of Jet troopers)

Airwing Compliment: 8 V-Wing class interceptors, and 1 Nu-class attack shuttle

Armaments: 4 Quad Light Turbolaser turrets, 8 Quad Laser Batteries, 4 concussion missile launchers and 1 medium tractor beam projector

Description: The Arquitens-class light cruiser was a favored vessel by some officers due to its versatile nature. Because of this, the Arquitens-class still serves in the GNR as a supporting ship for most fleets, with some variants such as the Class 546 acting almost independently if the situation demands it.

Ships in the Third Systems Army (Garreth's Expeditionary Fleet):

-RCC Observance

Consular Class Frigate (Charger CR70 Variant)

Crew: 24 (Bridge crew, engineers, technicians, pilots, and 5th Fleet marines)

Passengers: 25 clone troopers (Additional 5th Fleet Marines)

Airwing Compliment: 1 Detachable Saloon Pod

Armaments: 5 twin turbolaser turrets, and 1 twin laser cannon turret

Description: Serving as one of the most used support ships, the CR70 was a well-known ship throughout the GNR. Due to its maneuverability and speed, the CR70 was favored by Republic Special Forces and Fleet Commanders that required such traits in their missions.

Ships in the Third Systems Army (Garreth's Expeditionary Fleet):

-RAF Yoric

-RAF Wellerman

-RAF Timber

-RAF Kuat

-RAF Horizon

-RAF Acheron

-RAF Surprise

-RAF Aubrey

Consular Class Frigate (Charger AC130 Variant)

Crew: 24 (Bridge crew, engineers, technicians, pilots, and 5th Fleet marines)

Passengers: 25 clone troopers (Additional 5th Fleet Marines)

Airwing Compliment: 1 Detachable Saloon Pod

Armaments: 4 heavy twin turbolaser turrets, 2 twin laser chaingun turrets, and 1 miniaturized mass driver cannon

Description: While the CR70 was a successful design, some desired more from this maneuverable ship. With the help of Kuat Drive Yards and Rothana Heavy Engineering, the AC130 variant of the Consular was born. Armed with the heavier caliber of cannons, the ship was made to provide heavier CAS without risking friendly fire that other ships may cause. It was a common joke that when designing this ship, a pilot pointed at an AT-TEs main gun and then towards the ship saying "put that, in there."

Ships in the Third Systems Army (Garreth's Expeditionary Fleet):

-RAC130 Crumble

-RAC130 Dove (Nicknamed: Bitch Slap by the crew)

Army Units:

1st Corps (Aurek Corps)

501st Legion

Commanders: Field Marshal Garreth Azure, and Marshal Commander Moris

Regiments: 501st Guard Regiment, 501st A Regiment, 501st B Regiment, and 501st C Regiment

Battalions: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Battalions (Applies to all regiments)

Total Manpower: 12,000 clone troopers

Known Companies and Battalions: Torrent Company (Captain Foster, A Regiment, 1st Battalion), Toro Company (Captain Sixers, Guard Regiment, 1st Battalion), Scot Company (Captain Tavish, Guard Regiment, 1st Battalion), Dragon Company (Captain Connor, Guard Regiment, 1st Battalion), Clover Company (Captain O'Riley, Guard Regiment, 1st Battalion) and Mountie Company (Captain Ryder, Guard Regiment, 4th Battalion)

Description: Following the end of the Clone Wars, Anakin Skywalker would resign from his duty as a general, Commander Rex would follow suit. Newer officers would soon take the reigns of the Legion. At some point, Field Marshal Garreth Azure would adopt the Legion as his most favored unit and took great strides in maintaining and improving the Legion. Due to the 501st's reputation, the Field Marshal would organize a regiment to act as an honor guard. Thus the Guard Regiment was born, but these men were not to be looked down upon. Following this development, all members of the Guard Regiment would receive extensive training in bayonet combat. During several missions, the senior guard company, known as "Toro Company or the Bullstream Guards", would lead a massive charge against a heavily fortified position of CIS Insurgents. Their bayonet training made them one of the most feared units in the 3rd Systems Army as that day, no survivors were found as the Company gave no quarter.

Aurek Corps Supplementary Legions

Commanders: Field Marshal Garreth Azure, Marshal Commanders Hammond, Harry, and Jolt

Regiments: 67th Infantry Regiment, 32nd Armored Regiment, 95th Sharpshooter Regiment, 24th Infantry Regiment, 88th Scouting Regiment, 45th Scuba Regiment, 11th Lancer Regiment, 55th Infantry Regiment, 22nd Airborne Regiment, 65th Engineering and Artillery Regiment, 12th Marine Regiment, and 77th Armored Regiment

Battalions: 4 Battalions each Regiment

Total Manpower: 40,000 clone troopers

Known Companies and Battalions: 1st Battalion of Lancers (Captain Lancelot, 11th Lancer Regiment)

Description: While the 501st was an elite legion, it still required additional units to conduct certain missions, especially expeditions or invasions. Thus the Supplementary Legion was made. Most regiments would not gain any colors and many would find themselves being transferred to other units in the 3rd Systems Army like the 501st, or the 212th. Many of the SL would serve alongside the 501st, either through the frontlines, as mechanized units, or artillery support

Aurek Corps Depot Legion

Commanders: Marshal Commander Enfield

Regiments: 1st Depot Regiment, 2nd Depot Regiment, 3rd Depot Regiment, and 4th Depot Regiment

Battalions: 4 Battalions each Regiment

Total Manpower: 35,560 Clone Troopers

Description: To maintain a properly trained army, the GAR had introduced the Depot System. This system would see freshly trained clone troopers serve as supporting troops for active combat units. The troopers would serve a minimum of 6 months as the depot unit until they are moved to legions such as the 501st or the Supplementary Legion.

Total Number of Troops in the 1st Corps (Aurek Corps): 88,560 Clone Troopers

That's gonna be it for this one, not much of a chapter, but it's more of a way to give you lot of what the GAR is working with once they stumble in Remnant. It should be noted that I decided to only use what is hardly even a Sector Army. The reason behind this is that A, it's still an expedition, albeit a military one hence the firepower and units present, but an expedition nonetheless. The rest of the 3rd Systems Army will most likely be on other campaigns or missions. Another thing to note is that I did not mention any Special Forces... well, there is a reason for that, but that will have to wait for another time d:

The next chapter will finally see the Aurek Corps arrive at Remnant. How fun right? Well, until then, this is where I get off. Stay frosty because that's soldiering!
